Predaking is the ferocious fusion of all five of the Predacons: Divebomb, Headstrong, Rampage, Tantrum, and team leader Razorclaw.

In most cases of combiners, it is a given that strength and raw power would be heavily boosted as a result of the combination, however, Predaking has a little bit more going for him. His tracking skills increase exponentially, granting him heightened radar and other robotic senses. Nothing can escape his grasp and no creature can slip past his notice. When Predaking is on your trail, all hope is lost.
Animated continuity
Generation 1 cartoon
Voice Actor: Bud Davis (US), Tomomichi Nishimura (Japan)

Whenever the Predacons appeared, it was pretty well a given that Predaking would soon follow. Though utterly gigantic and menacing, Predaking was basically a paper tiger, easily beaten off every time he appeared. He could sometimes generate windstorms.

Predaking and Sky Lynx were frequent adversaries, with the egotistical Autobot usually the victor of their encounters.

On the Moon, Predaking fought alongside Terrorcon combiner Abominus until they, along with the other 'primative' animal-based Transformers, were called away by Primacron's Assistant. They were led to an ancient world, in the hopes their primative instincts would defeat Primacron's latest creation, the energy-draining Tornadron. After the defeated Trypticon's corpse seemingly crushed Grimlock, the primatives split up and ran for their lives. The Predacons continued to run until Headstrong declared he would rather stand and fight than die running. Concurring, his fellow Predacons merged with him to form Predaking, but was quickly put into stasis lock by Tornadron. Call of the Primatives

Later, Predaking and Devastator are seen chasing Broadside in the sea. The Burden Hardest to Bear

2010 Manga
Predaking suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Omnibots.

The precise origins of the animated Predacons are never divulged in the series, with them simply appearing in Five Faces of Darkness Part 5 with no explanation. A TV Magazine story page later made the claim that Predaking was built through cooperation between the Decepticons and the Quintessons, although whether or not that was the original intention of the American series writers is unknown.

Headmasters
Predaking showed up a few times, usually just long enough for him to get beat up by Fortress Maximus.

Zone OVA and manga
Voice Actor: Yukimasa Kishino (Japan)

(Predaking is referred to as one of the Nine Great Demon Generals. This terminology, coupled with the presence of the previously deceased Black Zarak in their ranks and Violen Jygar's supernatural origins, could mean that Predaking died previously to Zone and was likewise brought back to life. However, this is unconfirmed, meaning that Violen Jygar may have simply recruited the still-living Predaking to be a General.)

Predaking was selected by Violen Jygar as one of his 9 Decepticon Demon-Generals. Given the rank of Beast General and gifted with new weaponry and armor, Violen Jygar sent Predaking to the Earth to steal the Zodiac before the Autobots could get it. He failed, however, and after seeing the likes of King Poseidon and Trypticon get killed in battle, attempted to escape. His escape was thwarted by Dai Atlas, who sliced him into two from head to crotch, exposing his vaguely organic-looking brain and killing the Decepticon.

Starscream and his Combaticons were in training when Predaking suddenly arose from the sea, seeking to capture the treacherous Decepticon Air Commander. The Combaticons quickly formed into (the much-less intelligent) Bruticus and counter-attacked by destroying Predaking's shoulder-mounted guns. Forced back, Predaking quickly put down his opponent by firing one of his foot cannons at Bruticus' head, blasting off part of his face.

When Starcream fled, lamenting Bruticus's latest defeat, Predaking attempted to follow until Bruticus crushed one of his wings and threw him onto the island. Damaged, but not defeated, Predaking easily dodged the slow-witted Combaticon combiner's rifle blast, then erected a defensive energy field around himself to deflect the follow-up shot. As Bruticus pondered a possible rifle malfunction, Predaking punched his rival in the face with a spiked knuckle, then impaled the crippled Bruticus upon Headstrong's horn, finally deactivating the Combaticons.

The Beast Within
For the fist time in comic book history, Predaking is completly and totally owned. Except, you know, all those other times. Predaking would like you to ignore those. And this one, come to think of it.The Beast Within

:Predaking is, by far, the largest of the traditional central component-leader-type combiner toys. He is formed by combining all five Predacons together. Unlike the Scramble City-style toys such as Bruticus or Defensor, Predaking's arms and legs are not interchangable. Razorclaw's sword and beast mode cannon serve as Predaking's primary weapons, with Tantrum and Headstrong's back-mounted cannons as his feet.

:Hasbro only released the individual Predacons, but a giftset was avalible in Japan. In late 2004, Predaking was reissued to much rejoicing of people who could not afford the aftermarket prices on a vintage piece.

:As part of the Titanium series 3" line, Predaking is constructed of mostly diecast metal and plastic parts, but cannot transform and has very limited articulation. His sculpt and colour scheme is based upon the original G1 toy, but has Rampage and Divebomb occupying each others positions, like the cartoon and comic model.

Trivia
*A Predaking Action Master was planned at one point, but apparently went no further than a concept sketch. It was intended to be the included rider of a transforming dirt bike. While Predaking was scrapped, the bike was refined and included with the Action Master Axer.

*Incidentally, the aforementioned concept art was found in an Arby's parking lot after the end of Botcon 2000, where it had presumably come unstowed.
:Arcee is an Autobot in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Arcee is a female Transformer, usually found in the same general area as her friends and fellow Autobots Hot Rod and Springer, both of whom she cares for deeply. The level-headed and logical one of the three, it is usually Arcee who needs to rein in the other two when their egos or attitudes are getting out of control. In addition to being a fierce warrior and talented gunner, she also just might be one of Rattrap's ancestors.

:Hungarian name: Arszi

Fiction
Generation 1 animated continuity
Voice actress: Susan Blu (US), Masako Katsuki → Yōko Kawanami (Japan)

Although there are many other female Autobots, Arcee appears to be the only one to hold any sort of rank or position amongst the forces found in Autobot City. She seems to share the same basic design as the medical bots on the planet of Paradron. During the assault on Autobot City she was instrumental in helping Springer transform Autobot City to repel the Decepticon invaders, buying precious time for reinforcements and likely saving many lives. She was among the few Autobots to survive Megatron's savage blitz on the city, and was nearly left behind when Galvatron forced the Autobots to evacuate.

Arcee survived the attack, and the crash landing on the planet Junk, all the while going to great lengths in order to protect and care for young Daniel Witwicky, a human friend of Hot Rod's who had wound up on the shuttle with her. Throughout the entire battle with Unicron, Daniel's safety was Arcee's top priority. The almost maternal connection between Daniel and Arcee was a powerful one, which was only strengthened some time later when they became binary bonded as Headmaster partners during an adventure on the planet Nebulos.

The Headmasters
(The Headmasters anime ignores the events from the 3-part "The Rebirth" story arc)

In 2011, Arcee either lost her taste for combat or was slapped into her place by the male Autobots. Mostly because, through-out Headmasters, she acted as Fortress' secretary. That is not an exaggeration... she was literally his secretary, filing reports, working computers and monitoring events. At one point she wanted to leave with Rodimus Prime, Blurr and Kup to search for a new homeworld after Cybertron blew up, but Rodimus told her to stay because she's a girl, and girls can't do anything but stand around and worry and make coffee for the men. During a party shortly afterward, she slow-danced with Chromedome and the pair had something resembling a mutual attraction through-out the show (at one point, Chromedome becomes aroused at seeing her transformation from a car).

Dammit Japan.

Marvel Comics UK continuity
Arcee was constructed by the Autobots in an alternate future 1995 as a good-will attempt to placate angry humans who thought that they were "sexist" for having no women in their group. After trying multiple times to explain that Autobots, being robots, had no gender, Optimus Prime surrendered and ordered Wheeljack and Ratchet to make a new Autobot who would meet the humans' demands for sexual equality. However, when Arcee was unveiled at a public ceremony, her pink, skinny, pink, curvacious, and pink form enraged the very audience Prime intended to placate. Shockwave's Decepticons immediately attacked, looking to crush the "secret weapon" that was promised. Prime warned Arcee to stay back, lest she get hurt in battle, but the female Autobot, rightfully annoyed at the Autobots' lack of faith in her equal ability, singlehandedly forced the Decepticons into a retreat. Hot Rod thought that was pretty hot. Prime's Rib!

Dreamwave comics continuity
Arcee can be seen as a member of Hot Rod's underground rebellion team on Cybertron, battling the forces of Shockwave. Both Hot Rod and Springer appeared to be in love with her, though she seemed rather uninterested in both of them. In reality, Arcee was a sleeper agent for the Quintessons.

Due to Dreamwave's bankruptcy, this story was never concluded. Thank god.

3H Universe: The Wreckers comics
During a battle against a horde of killer Nightbirds, Daniel and Wheelie sacrificed their lives to end the threat. The death of Daniel took a serious toll on Arcee's personality, turning her into a depressed and brooding stereotype. A pink one.

Toys
Generation 1
: No actual transforming toy of Arcee in her original cartoon model was ever made. Images of a hand-sculpted prototype have appeared in several Takara publictions, but it appears the toy never progressed beyond that stage.

: The Japanese Transformers Generations book shows a piece of concept artwork of the Headmaster Chromedome car in pink and white labelled "Arcee", a proposal for a redeco of the toy as Headmaster Arcee from "The Rebirth". (Presumably, then, this was a Hasbro-initiated idea.) The idea does not appear to have gotten any further.

Beast Machines
*Arcee (Mega, 2001)

: The very first true transforming Arcee toy (and currently the only official one of the Generation 1 character) is a redeco and minor retooling of the Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia, transforming into a malformed mish-mash of machine and organic parts in the form of a large spider. The spider-mode fangs become a grappling weapon for her robot mode which extend on a retractable string. The robot mode also features a spring-powered waist-swivel for "power kick" action. Arcee lacks the retail version's additional chest armor, and the oddly-placed holes in her... well, chest, that keep the armor in place.

: Arcee was available only as an exclusive to 2001, and along with Tigatron were the first time since the inception of 3H that they were allowed to use pre-existing characters for convention exclusives. Arcee is also the first convention toy to feature retooling. Preorders recieved their Arcees with a bonus; the box contained a light-sensitive sound chip featuring voice actress Susan Blu's voice saying "Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE!". These chips are VERY light-sensitve. Many won't shut up to this day.

:Note: Arcee's packaging does not explicitly place her in the Beast Machines toyline; however, her box uses the BM-era "Transformers" logo, and the character is placed on BM-era Cybertron; by contrast, 2001's other BotCon exclusive, Tigatron, used a box with the Beast Wars name and Transformers logo.

Titanium
Merchandise
There is also a transfomers energon Arcee that is a motercycle with an engergon crossbow and a 2007 movie transfomers Arcee that is also a motercycle with a better crossbow (not in the movie but released in the movietoy line) hopely she will be in the second movie, she is a great figure

Trivia
*When asked about Arcee's design in an interview, Floro Dery's reply was, "Arcee is the naked mechanical equivalent of Princess Leia of Star Wars." Well, that answers that question...while raising a whole bunch of others.

*Arcee fires her gun twice in the original movie.
:The first time, she tries to shoot a Decepticon in the back as they retreat the attack on Autobot City. She misses.
:The second is inside Unicron, fighting his immune system. She tries to shoot a claw (missing again) and instead breaks open a some giant container of water, separating Daniel from the Autobots. Apparently Arcee went to the Imperial stromtrooper school of marksmanship.
The level-headed and logical one of the three, it is usually Arcee who needs to rein in the other two when their egos or attitudes are getting out of control. In addition to being a fierce warrior and talented gunner, she also just might be one of Rattrap's ancestors.

*Arcee fires her gun twice in the original movie.
:The first time, she tries to shoot a Decepticon in the back as they retreat the attack on Autobot City. She misses.
