You could say, returning the favor?
Since the dub of Sgt. Frog got a mention to Transformers for the character Angol Mois, I thought it would be fitting if we change one of the captions to one of her quotes. I was thinking either "ARMAGEDDON! 1/100000000!" or "This is where the sparkles go". Anyone else for this idea? --ZootyCutie 22:22, 30 January 2010 (EST)
:No. --Detour 23:09, 30 January 2010 (EST)

Dark Energon
So... okay, as described in Exodus, Dark Energon is essentially Angolmois as described by someone who didn't bother to research and find that yes, this has been done already. Its origins are identical, its effects are relatively similar, it's a macguffin that will turn the tide of the war, etc. etc.

What's the best way to do this? Do we include it in this article? Do it up as its own article and disambiguate between the two? Whaddaya think?--RosicrucianTalk 02:42, 9 July 2010 (EDT)
:Probably no more than a trivia note saying that Dark Energon bears some striking similarities to Angolmois, and a reciprocating note on the Angolmois page. I don't think a disambiguation is necessary.--Jimsorenson 02:46, 9 July 2010 (EDT)
::Note section. And exactly how does a disambiguation help our readers? People looking for Dark Energon will be looking for... Dark Energon. Same for Angolmois. —Interrobang 02:55, 9 July 2010 (EDT)
:::Reply to Rosicrucian - You are assuming that they were unaware of angolmois. Personally, I think it is possible that they were very aware of it and just decided to give it a name more congenial to the ears of English speakers (Note - I almost said English speaking ears, very strange). --Khajidha 16:18, 29 July 2010 (EDT)
::::Hard to know one way or the other, but you certainly couldn't expect them to call it Angolmois in Exodus.--Jimsorenson 16:21, 29 July 2010 (EDT)
:::::For that matter, how did the Japanese even arrive at the name "Angolmois"? What's it etymology? And given the nature of the Japanese language, it seems they were trying to approximate a sound-alike word from another language. If anyone has information on the background of this collection of syllables, such as who come up with it and why they went with "Angolmois", that would be awesome. --Bijhan 11:21, 7 June 2012 (EDT)
