The Bots are enlisted to watch after Doc Greene's Robo-Baby.

Synopsis
The Rescue Bots are in the middle of repairing a bridge outside town, when an impatient motorist attempts to jump his motorcycle across the gap. Kade and Heatwave attempt to rescue him, but Kade falls loose from Heatwave's ladder. The two humans head for a nearby waterfall, and all seems lost until Heatwave throws his fire hose, and Kade grabs it, saving them both.

Sometime later, Doc Greene shows video of the incident to Cody Burns in way of explanation for the Turbo Cycle he's built. Cody offers to be a test driver, but the doc already has someone for that. Cody believes himself to be more responsible than Kade, but Greene reminds him of the incident with the fusion-powered water gun. Frankie has an idea, and believes Cody can prove he's mature by taking care of one of the doctor's other inventions—the Robo-Baby, designed to record how babies see the world. Cody is unsure, and even less so when it turns out the Robo-Baby is even capable of soiling itself.

Cody takes the Robo-Baby back to the fire station, where he ropes the Rescue Bots into helping him look after the tyke. Heatwave regards it as a sparkless machine, while the other Bots are enamored by it. Boulder attempts to warm some milk for the baby with a blowtorch, which results in a mess. While they clean the mess up, Chase finds a baby bottle which quiets the Robo-Baby down, though it spews on Blades. After it starts crying, Chase finds a Rubber Ducky. The baby doesn't like the toy, and throws it into the air. The Rubber Ducky lands in a nearby sink and is sucked down a drain, eventually entering the sewer system where it clogs a pipe. The sewer soon bursts.

Still trying to calm the Robo-Baby, Chase attempts to sing a lullaby, but his loud, flat singing doesn't help. Cody refuses to consult his siblings, but then they discover that Blades's rotors work like a mobile and the baby is soon snoozing. Unfortunately there's an emergency alarm-the broken sewer has caused a sinkhole to appear in front of the bank. While the Rescue Bots roll out, Cody takes the baby to the control room so he can monitor the rescue and the baby at the same time. Once at the bank, Dani and Blades rescue a stranded bank customer, Heatwave and Chase set about propping the building up, and Boulder and Graham venture into the hole to check out the burst pipe. As they need to shut down the water, Cody switches the power from the hydro-electric plant to the wind farm. The sight of the wind farm turbines wakes the Robo-Baby, but the bank is saved, and Graham fishes the Rubber Ducky from the pipe. Cody looks around, and discovers that the Robo-Baby is gone.

The Rescue Bots return to the fire station to find Cody searching for the baby. Frankie gives Cody a call from the ferry to check how he's doing, and tells him that the Rob-Baby's worth three million dollars. The now-desperate search comes up blank, but Cody spots the wind farm rotors on the monitor, and they head there under the assumption that's where the Robo-Baby is. Heatwave uses his olfactory sensors to detect the baby, and they find it heading up one of the windmills on a platform. With Blades unable to move close enough to pick the baby up, Chase uses his singing to keep it away from the edge while Boulder scales the windmill. Unfortunately the baby falls before Boulder reaches it, and Heatwave has to grab it out of mid-air.

Doc Greene is fascinated by the readings the Robo-Baby has recorded. Impressed, Greene announces Cody can test the Turbo Cycle. Kade gets to look after the Robo-Baby for the next week.
Chase, Blades and Boulder must battle a swarm of flying lobsters.

Synopsis
Cody Burns and Frankie Greene are attending the Lobster and Technology Festival. While Cody prefers the lobsters, Frankie is looking forward to the technology parade, in which she'll get to ride on her dad's float. Discussing which is better, they find Chief Burns and Doc Greene inflating a helium lobster balloon. Frankie scoffs at the fact that the Rescue Bots are taking part on the parade too, but at that moment a strong gust of wind causes the balloon's cables to snap. One catches Doc Greene's leg, and as the balloon drifts away, he's taken with it. The others give chase, collecting Chase along the way, but even the Autobot is unable to save Doc Greene from being whisked away.

Back at the fire station, the other Rescue Bots and the rest of the Burns family get the alert and roll out. Doc Greene manages to catch on to a building and, following Chief Burns's suggestion, unties the rope from his ankle, freeing himself from the balloon. While Kade and Heatwave rescue the Doc from the building, Blades and Dani hook the balloon and bring it back down to earth. As the Doc thanks Kade, Heatwave makes a throat-clearing noise, and Chief Burns asks Cody to remind the bots that they're supposed to be pretending to be robots.

As Cody instructs the Rescue Bots again, he notices Heatwave is missing. Boulder is also distracted by a bird out the window, so Cody holds an impromptu game of "Simon Says" to help them get acting like robots. Heatwave picks that moment to appear, announcing he's not going to be in the parade because he hates acting like a robot and being climbed all over by kids. Thus when the rest of the Burns family arrives to leave for the parade, Heatwave fakes an engine problem. Kade's just happy not to have to deal with Heatwave, so the others head out without him. They arrive at the parade, where Doc Greene is filling balloons with his latest invention, floatium, which is a more controllable version of helium. The parade soon starts, with the Rescue Bots marching along behind the floats, though Boulder has to be shushed by Chase. Back at base, Heatwave watches the parade on TV and is irritated by the reporter's comments.

Back at the fairgrounds, a hungry fair-goer accidentally knocks the tank of floatium into the lobster tank and the lobsters inside immediately begin floating out of the tank. After the Rescue Bots return to the square, Coby points out the flobsters now filling the sky. While the Bots continue to pretend to be robots, despite a flobster having a close encounter with Blades's face, the humans investigate. Doc Greene quickly calculates it will take two days for the effects of the floatium to wear off, and heads back to the lab to work on a solution. Unfortunately the flobsters quickly turn hostile to the humans present. Coby formulates a plan, and Dani and Blades scoop up a bunch of the flobsters in a cage, before dropping the whole cage back into the lobster tank.

Cody takes control of the ComTab, and the Rescue Bots and their partners are soon responding to flobster-related emergency calls all over Griffin Rock. Boulder and Graham help Mayor Luskey after a flobster severs a nearby power cable. Kade calls the station and attempts to be polite in talking to Heatwave. More flobsters trap Frankie in a phone booth, attracted to the starfish on the back of her jacket. She calls Cody for help, but luckily Heatwave is nearby and gets rid of the flobsters with his hose. As the others celebrate Frankie's rescue, Dani calls them back to the town square, where Doc Greene shows off the destabilizing compound he's created to remove the floatium from the water and flobsters. They can spray the compound directly on the flobsters, but there's only one batch and the flobsters are everywhere. Cody has the idea of using the giant lobster balloons to scare the flobsters and herd them back to the town square where Heatwave can spray them, ending the flobster menace.

The people of Griffin Rock enjoy their lobster lunches, while Blades finally gets the flobster joke, and Heatwave has kids climb all over him.
* The common form of helium isn't radioactive and thus does not have a half life. Also, to make a helium balloon neutrally buoyant, all you need to do is add an appropriate amount of weight or use a appropriate helium/air mix rather than pure helium, there's no need to invent a new gas.
* One should probably also not ask how floatium gives lobsters the ability to cut through tree branches and power cables with their claws.

Real-world references
* Doc Greene's tenuous grip on the courthouse roof before being rescued bears a suspicious resemblance to the same in the movie Back to the Future.
A team of Rescue Bots is assigned by Optimus Prime to work with the Burns family on the island of Griffin Rock.

Synopsis
Somewhere in space, a drifting Autobot spaceship receives a message from Optimus Prime directing them to Earth. The ship automatically changes course and eventually touches down in a military base. The four members of Rescue Force Sigma-17 emerge and are greeted by Optimus himself, who informs them that Cybertron is no longer the Autobots' home.

On the island of Griffin Rock, Cody Burns is biking to school when his dad pulls up alongside in the old police car, which is soon to be replaced with a new car as part of the town's function as a hi-tech testing ground. Cody wants to test drive the new vehicles, but the rest of his family points out they're for grown-ups.

Optimus tells the new arrivals that he has a new mission for them: to live with a human family and learn more about Earth, but they must do so disguised as normal machines. He gives them rescue vehicles to scan, though Blades is unenthusiastic when he discovers the alternate mode he's ended up with flies. Optimus introduces them to Chief Charlie Burns, the only human who knows the Rescue Bots' true nature.

That afternoon, Cody arrives at the dedication, where he meets Frankie Greene and her father, Doc Greene, in the audience, though Frankie's more interested in the new exhibit of robot dinosaurs at the museum. Chief Burns introduces the gathered crowd to the Rescue Bots, describing them as new hi-tech robots which will work with him and his family as a rescue response unit. When a butterfly lands on Boulder's face, the Autobot instinctively goes to shoo it away, but is stopped by Heatwave. However, Cody's suspicions are already raised. When Cody jumps up and knocks on Boulder's foot, he's told to get lost by a reporter. The press photos are interrupted when word comes in of a fire at the Natural History Museum.

Burns and his rescue squad head to the museum, although Dani discovers her helicopter doesn't seem to like flying too high. Chase begins clearing the humans from the area, though is confused when a couple of Egyptian mummies fail to comply. Graham is bemused when he tells Boulder to move some planters and the Autobot responds that it would ruin the aesthetics. They manage to get the fire out, and Graham locates the cause: a short in one of the robotic dinosaurs. While he's fixing it, Cody sneaks into the museum, having followed the team on his bike. He's therefore present to witness Heatwave saving Chief Burns and Graham from a falling dinosaur head. Burns explains it as Heatwave having been left in rescue mode, and Kade is glad to take the credit. As they leave the museum, the eyes on a short-circuiting animatronic Tyrannosaurus rex light up ominously!

That night, back in the fire station, the Rescue Bots take a lift down to a Cold War bunker underneath the station. Upstairs, Cody excuses himself from dinner with his family and heads downstairs, where he catches the Rescue Bots complaining about their new gig. Heatwave has just decided they're going to leave when Cody speaks up. The Rescue Bots realize their cover is blown, but after introductions are made, Cody shows them that there are many tunnels leading around the island from the bunker. They check out a giant robot movie at a drive in, and Cody attempts to teach the Rescue Bots how to act like "real" robots as well as give them tips on dealing with his siblings. Lessons are brought to a halt when they spot the robotic T. rex from the museum, now rampaging along the street. As it moves into the drive-in, Cody gets Chase to start his lights, and they establish the thing is attracted to light. They begin leading the creature to a safe area while Cody contacts his dad.

Burns takes the rest of his family in the old squad car, and they soon catch up with the Rescue Bots as the chase moves outside town. While they try to work out how to deal with the rogue dinosaur, Cody calls Frankie. Soon Boulder is extracting a jail cell from the police station, which Dani and Blades fly to the scene. Meanwhile, Chase keeps the T. rex occupied, and Kade and Heatwave wet some ground to make mud. Kade is shocked when Heatwave transforms, attracts the dinosaur's attention, and then throws it into the mud. Dani lowers the makeshift cage over it, allowing Cody to shut the dinosaur down.

The next day, they return the dinosaur to the museum, and Burns decides to get a picture of "his heroes" outside. After Heatwave tells Kade that Cody's part of the team or the Rescue Bots leave, Chief Burns reveals that they're not just robots, they're aliens.

Real-world references
*The episode's title refers to the 1987 comedy film, 3 Men and a Baby (which just happened to be directed by Leonard Nimoy).
Foreign localization
Trivia
-Despite Heatwave disliking the robo-baby (hence he called it Sparkless Machine), he actually showed that he's very fatherly toward the robo-baby. It could mean that before he was a Rescue bot, He was probably the father back at Cybertron or had the experience taking care of Sparklings and Younglings.
-It was no surprising that even though Chase is the law enforcer-he stinks at singing.
-Heatwave mentioned his old factory sensors, meaning that he must've worked as a factory bot back in Cybertron.
-This is the episode where Heatwave actually smiles-probably literally
