Rick Ottman and his co-interns joined [[Professor Arkeville]] on a trek into the desert to find a meteorite, which had descended to Earth right in the middle of a massive electromagnetic event. Despite the potential criminal consequences of trying to beat the military to the find, Rick kidded around with his friends about Will's bottomless appetite and Sephie's obsession with machines. Things turned strange when a pair of driverless and...''gesturing'' vehicles pulled into the area, and downright ridiculous when a [[Ravage (SG)|blindingly white mechanical cat]] introduced himself from a nearby rock, looking to "has humanz".

After the initial panic subsided, Rick and Will realized that Ravage (and his friends [[Frenzy (SG)|Frenzy]], [[Sir Soundwave|Soundwave]] and [[Heatwave (Timelines)|Heatwave]]) were actually friendly. (Maybe a little ''too'' friendly in Ravage's case.) They made their way to the crashed wreckage of the ''[[Nemesis (SG)|Nemesis]]'' and met the acting leader of the Decepticons, [[Starscream (SG)|Starscream]]. After being fully briefed on the Cybertronian War, Rick and his friends agreed to help the Decepticons locate the fallen Autobot ship, and make sure their enemies were off-line.

As it turned out, they weren't. [[Rodimus (SG)|Rodimus Prime]] and the evil Autobots captured the [[Global Orbiting Defense Satellite|GODS]] orbital weapon at [[Burpleson Air Force Base]], and tried to hold the world hostage. Rick and Will helped Soundwave infiltrate the base, posing as a food delivery van. Once inside, they went with Frenzy to secure the GODS control room. A quick blast of fire extinguisher foam and sonic-juiced Frenzy helped clear [[Goldbug (SG)|Goldbug]] and Rodimus away from the controls, letting Heatwave tele-mechanically access the GODS system and trigger a self-destruct. {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}

When the Decepticons were incapacitated by some serious comm static, Rick and his friends volunteered to look after the base while Soundwave went out to deal with the problem. Sephie's romance with technology gave her a rather defeatist attitude about the chances four "mere humans" stood if the Autobots happened to show up, and Rick did his best to defend humanity's ingenuity to her. He got a chance to prove it when the insane [[Beachcomber (SG)|Beachcomber]] arrived looking for trouble. Rick and Will kept Beachcomber busy with defense cannons, flaring energy cells, and even a sparkling clean decon bath. Their antics occupied him until the comms were cleared up, and Beachcomber fled rather than facing the entire Decepticon army. {{storylink|Blitzwing Bop}}

Will and Rick were on hand with video cameras when the Decepticons got their [[Stellar Spanner]] working and [[Shockwave (SG)|Shockwave]] arrived on Earth. Rick was surprised Sephie hadn't been there, but when he found her, she broke the news that she'd been offered a job in Maine with [[R.J. Blackrock]]'s company. When the Decepticons were later invited to the unveiling of Blackrock's [[Mega-Rig]], Rick went too. The ceremony was attacked by Autobots, and After Shockwave protected Sephie from [[Seaspray (SG)|Seaspray]]'s missile, Rick was the first by her side. He later told her not to blame herself for Shockwave's critical injuries, but the next time he saw her, she had upgraded herself with Cybertronian technology and was half machine. Despite this, as Sephie observed, Rick was still attracted to her.

Sephie decided to go and attack the Autobots on her own, and Rick anxiously told the Decepticons they had to go after her, even snapping at [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]]. When he became determined to go after her himself, the Decepticons built him an exosuit using Shockwave's aide [[Fistfight (SG)|Fistfight]] as a base. He and Fistfight found Sephie at [[Arizona Bay]], but while Rick tried to talk her out of an assault, the Autobots surprised them and rendered Rick and Fistfight unconscious. He woke up to find they'd welded Fistfight to some junk, and he was forced to watch helplessly as they captured the Decepticons. When Blackrock arrived piloting his [[Centurion (SG)|Centurion]] mech and began fighting the Autobots, Rick convinced Fistfight to let him go unprotected and free Sephie. After Rick watched her appear to perish saving everyone from the overloading Centurion, he was heartbroken, but she turned out to be still alive after all. She suggested he disengage his hug as her metal parts were still hot. When she was subsequently stunned to the point of speechlessness by Blackrock firing her, Rick had to remind her that they had to leave. Though the Decepticons offered her a place on their team, Sephie turned them down in favor of striking out on her own, but Rick insisted she come back and visit occasionally. {{storylink|Transhuman}}

==Synopsis==
As the returned time travelers are confronted by [[MorBot]]s, [[Optimus Prime (Prime)|Optimus Prime]] orders the [[Rescue Bot]]s to find out what has happened to [[Griffin Rock]] while he and [[Bumblebee (Prime)|Bumblebee]] fend off [[Thaddeus Morocco|Doctor Morocco]]'s creations. The Rescue Bots drive through the streets of "Moropolis" and are boxed in at the town square, but use the stage to hide. [[Cody Burns|Cody]] and [[Frankie Greene|Frankie]] try unsuccessfully to contact their families, and get the idea to check the [[Hall of Inspiration]]. There, they activate the hologram of [[Chester A. Arthur|President Arthur]] and ask him to tell them about the town's history.

Up in the lab, Morocco uses his chamber to rejuvenate himself and is notified by one of the MorBots of the arrival of the Rescue Bots and the kids. He orders the MorBots to capture them so he can get the time machine working again.

President Arthur reaches the [[1939]] era, wherein it's revealed that Morocco used [[Dither]] to build his empire. Cody realizes they have to rescue Dither from 1939, but at that moment [[Charlie Burns]] arrives. Except he's the janitor, doesn't know Cody at all, and immediately alerts the MorBots. When the MorBots are about to shoot, Burns protests and is knocked aside, but it gives the Rescue Bots the chance to kick the MorBots out of the hall. Realizing his mistake, Burns sends the MorBots a false lead.

The MorBots lock down the city, terrifying the citizens. Meanwhile the Rescue Bots head to the fire station, which is now "Burns Auto Repair" as the other Burns siblings are mechanics. They're spotted going in by a MorBot, which alerts Morocco. The other Burnses are disbelieving of tales of alien robots and so on, but Burns takes them upstairs for dinner. During the meal, Frankie and Cody relate stories of their adventures in the other timelines. Morocco arrives with MorBots to attack the fire station, and everyone heads shelter downstairs. The Rescue Bots offer to turn themselves in to save the Burns family, but Dad says it's time they fight back. [[Kade Burns|Kade]] agrees and unveils the [[Mobile Headquarters]].

Morocco has lost patience and orders the MorBots to open fire. As they do so, the Mobile Headquarters crashes through the door. The huge truck is soon pursued by MorBots, but Optimus and Bumblebee join in, trashing Morocco's creations with a series of combat moves involving pipes. The team splits up to make themselves harder to follow. Eventually they're down to just Morocco and his command MorBot, which they send spinning, and everyone heads for the time machine. The Burns family give the time travelers the Mobile HQ, and Optimus powers up the time machine once again. Morocco arrives, but too late to stop the team from escaping through the portal and the MorBot crashes into the time machine.

The team lands up back in 1939, where Heatwave grabs Dither from Morocco's clutches and in a flash of light, they're gone once again. This time they arrive back in the ''proper'' present, and Cody and Frankie get hugs from their dads. When Chief Burns thanks the bots, Frankie wonders why they're back to talking like robots, until she realizes her dad doesn't know yet. [[Doc Greene]], however, reveals that Chief Burns told him everything. Everyone is happily reunited and starts sharing stories about alternate timelines.

New York City was home to [[Marvel Comics]]. Their recently fired employee, writer [[Donny Finkleberg]], also lived there, in a run-down, six-story walk-up apartment on the upper west side of Manhattan.

New York was the final destination on the Acton family's vacation. As such, the [[Statue of Liberty]] became a target for the graffiti-spreading [[Battlecharger|Battlechargers]]. [[Rapid Anti-robot Assault Team|R.A.A.T.]] prepared for the Decepticons' arrival by closing down the statue, Liberty Island, and the surrounding harbor, and loading down the statue with its troops. Runabout and Runamuck, meanwhile, snuck aboard the Staten Island Ferry, eventually commandeering the vessel and forcing it close to the statue. They then took to the air, Runamuck distracting the R.A.A.T. troops while Runabout spray-painted the statue with an inspirational message to their appreciative audience ("HUMANZ ARE WIMPZ"). Circuit Breaker finally defeated the pair using a jury-rigged collection of Autobot parts, sending them crashing into the waters of New York's harbor.

Donny Finkleberg contributed $50,000 to help pay for cleaning the graffiti off of the statue (and, presumably, repairing battle damage). {{storylink|Decepticon Graffiti!}}

Most of the battle took place on and above the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as in the "foul depths" of the East River below.

Some months later, Decepticon commander [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]] moved his headquarters to the nearby swamps of northern [[New Jersey (Earth)|New Jersey]] as part of a plan to harvest energy. The Decepticons erected the [[Stormmaker Station]], creating a massive thunderstorm over the New York City area. An [[electrostator]] was to be placed atop the Empire State Building by [[Iguanus (G1)|Iguanus]], collecting the storm's energy in one massive lightning bolt which would then be harvested by Scorponok's crew. However, the interference of the Autobot Micromasters under [[Roadhandler (G1)|Roadhandler]]'s command resulted in the lightning blasting the bolts out of Iguanus instead. {{storylink|King Con!}}

Roadhandler's crew made themselves at home in the city, going so far as to apprehend human thieves and make an appearance on a talk show based in New York. The Decepticons kept their base in New Jersey. [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] began efforts to convert New York City into his new base of "New Cybertron" by tunneling under the city and sinking the Empire State Building into the ground. The refashioned building was soon raised back into place, but with an all-new appearance. When the Autobots arrived to stop him, the [[Constructicon (G1)|Constructicons]] managed to capture Prime, and Megatron took his severed—but still functioning—head. The Autobots were forced to retreat temporarily or risk Prime's life. For a while, things went well for the Decepticons. (Even Starscream thought that Megatron was doing a good job, which is a sign of the apocalypse.) However, the Autobots went through the sewers (noting that they were more akin to "some messy swamp" than a substructure for North America's largest city) and managed to collect and reassemble Prime's body, save his right arm and [[ion blaster]]. Megatron had mounted it on his new citadel, the rebuilt Empire State Building, to serve as a defense mechanism. (Why Prime didn't just have [[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]] build him a new arm is unspecified.) Eventually, Prime was able to recover his arm, and the Decepticons were driven away. As it vanishes, Bulkhead traces the temporal energy to the newly-built [[Lions Tower]] in the middle of Detroit. You and Bulkhead arrive at the empty building to encounter [[Bumblebee (Animated)|Bumblebee]]. Breaking and entering ensues, and on the top floor of the building you find a strange machine. As you lift one of the metal balls from the machine, white mist surrounds you...

You and Bulkhead find yourself in a cemetery and encounter [[Abraham Lincoln]]. After you help Abe with the wording of the [[Wikipedia:Gettysburg Address|speech he's about to give]], he recognises the ball you're holding, having found a similar one the night before. When he gives you the sphere, another temporal shift occurs...

You find yourself in 1773, on [[Griffin's Wharf]], and spot two men dressed as Native Americans, on their way to the [[Boston Tea Party]]. One of them spots Bulkhead and, fearing that he's a metal demon sent by the British, flees. After a short chase, Bulkhead picks the man up, causing him to faint. While he's unconscious, you loot him and discover he's carrying another of the control spheres. Though you're keen to watch the Boston Tea Party, another time shift occurs.

And you're back in the 22nd century at the top of the Lions Tower. While you're looking around for Bumblebee, the diminutive Autobot comes flying through a nearby wall. Stepping through the hole in the wall is [[Natasha Pyraniac]], owner of the time machine, and [[Blast-X]], her [[Decepticon]] accomplice. While the two Autobots fight Blast-X, she explains to you that she came back in time for some amusement, but fun time's over, and she leaves with the time machine. He recognises your control sphere, having found an identical one on the hill, and leads you to his home to pick it up. Of course, no sooner do you have both spheres, than you and Bulkhead are sent through time again.

This time you find yourselves on a sidewalk in [[New York City]], in the early 21st century when people were still using fossil fuels as an energy source. The pollution prevents Bulkhead from getting a reading on the second missing control sphere, but a short time later he saves a teenage girl from being run over by a bus. You recognise the girl as [[Gabriella Constanza]], destined to be America's first female president, and discover she's found the control sphere you're after.

Back in the 22nd century, you find Prowl, who says you've been gone for days. The Autobots have discovered the time machine's owner is a chrononaut from the far future, who's being held prisoner by the Decepticon [[Wavelength]] in a river-side restaurant. Wavelength's electrical powers are holding the Autobots at bay. Your rubber-soled shoes make you immune, allowing you to sneak in via the fire escape and trip the sprinkler system, which shorts out Wavelength. The time traveler [[Aron Three Five]], thanks you for saving him and uses his time machine to return to the 51th century.

Escaping from a second Decepticon attack, Daniel and a group of Autobots were stranded on [[Junkion (planet)|Junkion]], where Daniel donned his father's old [[exosuit]] to weather the harsh environment. He did not get much time to enjoy the suit, as yet ''another'' Decepticon assault left [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] dead and stirred the native [[Junkion (species)|Junkions]] into violent action. Daniel proved his worth in this battle by smacking Junkion leader [[Wreck-Gar (G1)|Wreck-Gar]] with an I-beam, saving a prone [[Springer (G1)|Springer]].

Hostilities with the Junkions were settled with the arrival of Hot Rod and [[Kup (G1)|Kup]], Ultra Magnus was revived, and a brief celebration was held wherein Daniel showed he could boogey down.

Daniel joined the combined Autobot-Junkion attack force in the assault on [[Unicron]]. He was on the ship that plunged into Unicron's eye, and soon became separated from the main Autobot group. As luck would have it, he ended up in Unicron's acid-based digestion center, where he was able to save his father, [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]], [[Jazz (G1)|Jazz]], and [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]] from certain death.

Daniel and the rest soon met up with the other Autobots inside of Unicron. Everything around them was exploding! And then came this [[Hot Rod (G1)|Rodimus Prime]] guy. Spike and Daniel hopped into his front seat, all of the Autobots drove out of Unicron's undamaged eye, ''through space'' (!), and back to Cybertron as Unicron blew up. **Some of the fixed scenes are indeed "softer" than the surrounding animation—though since the last time the correct versions were released for North American purchase was on VHS tapes over 10 years ago, by this point the Shout! versions probably look as good as or better than them. Though not absolutely every Kid Rhino coloring error was fixed, the vast majority were, and certainly all of the [[Heavy Metal War|sequences of mistaken animation that confused the plot]] were fixed.

'''Blitzwing''' not only has three modes (robot, jet, and tank), he also has three alternate personalities (an "Icy" cold strategist, a short-tempered "Hothead", and a total "Random" nutcase) along with the faces rattling around in his head to go with them.<ref>Blitzwing's three personas are named "Icy", "Hothead" and "Random" on his [[Character model|model]] sheets.</ref> He's as liable to have a conversation with himself as he is to say a word to his fellow Decepticons. Pretty much the only thing that keeps him in line is that all three of his personalities are scared to death of [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]].

Blitzwing's "dominant", Icy personality is represented by a long, blue face with a monocle and speaks with quiet disdain. His easily angered Hothead personality has a wide, red face, is gap-toothed, and tends to react angrily with violent threats towards almost anyone. Finally, his Random personality's face looks like nothing so much as a black jack-o'-lantern, and may toss out bad puns and jokes, children's nursery rhymes, or random non sequiturs, mostly followed by hysterical laughter. All three personalities speak with a pronounced German [[Accents|accent]] and apparently he has trouble flying in a straight line.

Blitzwing's armament varies depending upon which personality is dominant at the time. His calculating personality has an arsenal of ice weaponry, while the Hothead predictably can turn up the heat. When his third personality is foremost, nearly anything can be dished out from either of his vehicle modes. Blitzwing's alt-mode is likewise usually dependent on which aspect is dominant at the time. His cold side uses the jet, his angry side uses the tank, and his insane side can use either. However it seems that if he changes personality while in his alt mode, that alt will change with him, and if that's a jet to tank change, he'll fall right out of the sky.

Long after the [[Great War (Animated)|Great War]] ended and the Decepticons went into hiding, [[Blackarachnia (Animated)|Blackarachnia]] experimented upon Blitzwing, rebuilding him into a Triple Changer and giving him the fractured mind he is known for today. {{storylink|Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac|The AllSpark Almanac}}

Blitzwing was aboard the [[Nemesis (Animated)|''Nemesis'']] with the other Decepticons at the time of the [[AllSpark]]'s re-discovery. He partially froze [[Blackarachnia (Animated)|Blackarachnia]]'s arm, commenting on how her demeanor was as unpleasant as her organic beast mode. When Blackarachnia advised him to blow it out his actuator, Blitzwing angrily demanded that she refer to him by his proper name, or else he would...''express his feelings in song!'' His out-of-tune rendition of "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" got all the Decepticons arguing until Megatron entered, prompting Blitzwing to fall silent with the rest.

When it became clear the ''Nemesis'' was going to crash into an exploding space bridge, Blitzwing fled in an escape pod. {{storylink|Transform and Roll Out}}

''After Megatron's disappearance, the Decepticons held a funeral at [[New Kaon]]. Blitzwing gave the eulogy, in which he vowed that they would destroy the [[Autobot]]s responsible for their leader's demise...and then paint mustaches on their faceplates. [[Lugnut (Animated)|Lugnut]] was angry with the service, declaring that Megatron was alive and would return. When Blitzwing pointed out evidence to the contrary, Lugnut destroyed the statue of Megatron that Blitzwing had built. This angered Blitzwing, who'd spent six deca-cycles building it, and initiated an exchange of fire between him and Lugnut.'' {{storylink|Dispatches}}

Blitzwing placed a bounty on [[Optimus Prime (Animated)|Optimus Prime]], intending to punish him for destroying Megatron. Fifty stellar cycles later, the bounty hunter [[Lockdown (Animated)|Lockdown]] contacted Blitzwing, saying he had Prime. Blitzwing promised that Lockdown would receive payment once Blitzwing received Prime — then his random side asked if he could ''please, please, please'' see Prime turn into a firetruck. {{storylink|The Thrill of the Hunt}} ''His conversation was cut short however, when an enraged Lugnut slammed his face into the monitor for daring to commune with the bounty hunter. The pair began scrapping, and things were only made worse when [[Swindle (Animated)|Swindle]] showed up, taking the opportunity to sell each of them a wide variety of weapons so they could pummel each other. It eventually culminated in him selling the pair of them doomsday weapons and unbreakable nemesis shields. Some time after this, Blitzwing and Lugnut followed a beacon to the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]] to find the wreckage of the ''Nemesis''. Noting that [[Starscream (Animated)|Starscream]] was bad at parking, Blitzwing also remembered that this quadrant was the last time they received an update from Lockdown. Concluding that the Autobots responsible for killing Megatron were nearby, the duo went to Earth. Landing at a construction site, the two had similar problems determining the dominant species on Earth as the Autobots did, mistaking Earth's automatons and machines for sentient beings. Lugnut's attempt to interrogate a crane ended up getting Blitzwing hit by the wrecking ball, which convinced the Decepticons to do a more time honored tactic—blow stuff up and hope it forces the Autobots to come out. It worked. During the battle with the Autobots, [[Bumblebee (Animated)|Bumblebee]] and [[Prowl (Animated)|Prowl]] were hard pressed to avoid Blitzwing's energy blasts, but his freeze beam did get Bumblebee off his feet. When Lugnut demanded information on Megatron's location, the Autobots mentioned that he had "turned into a fireball somewhere over [[Cleveland (city)|Cleveland]]". Naturally, Lugnut was displeased, and he used his [[Punch of Kill Everything|super-punch]] to floor the Autobots—and bury himself and Blitzwing under the rubble. When Blitzwing unburied himself, he irritatedly reminded Lugnut of his oft-repeated request for a little warning before the punch.

Having observed the battle over a live feed, Megatron opted to radio Lugnut exclusively, leaving Blitzwing struggling to work out what exactly was going on. Blitzwing believed Lugnut was only listening to voices in his head, so Lugnut had to take him along forcibly. Uncertain of the number and strength of the Autobots' "reinforcements" (the Detroit Police Department), the pair scanned Earth vehicles for disguises so they could lay low. Icy Blitzwing wanted to scan a fighter jet, while Hothead wanted a tank. After a brief argument, Random suggested that they scan both. That evening, the two Decepticons followed the Autobots to [[Lake Erie]], where Blitzwing froze the lake. When the Autobots submerged, he followed them in tank form. Blitzwing was lured by the Autobots towards [[Teletran-1|their ship]] and blasted by one of its weapons systems. He and Lugnut were left fragmented but functional and floated to the surface, only to be met by Starscream, who offered to repair them in exchange for a pledge of undying allegiance. {{storylink|Lost and Found (episode)|Lost and Found}}

Apparently, they chose to serve under Starscream, but still were bickering with each other. When Lugnut began receiving internal transmissions from Megatron again, Starscream was confused, and Blitzwing explained that it was a "technical glitch" that happened. A lot. When Starscream learned that Lugnut thought he was talking to Megatron, he felt threatened and scanned Lugnut, detecting the signals. Starscream ordered both Lugnut and Blitzwing to find the [[AllSpark Key]] while he himself tracked the transmissions.

At the moment, the AllSpark Key was in the hands of [[Ratchet (Animated)|Ratchet]]. Blitzwing used his ice guns to freeze Ratchet and rip off the arm that was carrying the Key. Afterward, they went to [[Sumdac Tower]] to find Megatron. In the process of greeting him, they revealed Megatron's true Decepticon nature to [[Isaac Sumdac|Prof. Sumdac]]. Blitzwing, now understanding what had been going on with Lugnut, inserted the Key into Megatron's head, restoring their true leader. {{storylink|Megatron Rising - Part 1}}

As Megatron proceeded to beat up the Autobots, Blitzwing and Lugnut decided not to intervene and kept an eye on Professor Sumdac instead. When Megatron called his loyal troops to him, Blitzwing looked on as his leader made an example of Starscream. The Decepticons took to the air, locating and attacking the Autobots' ship as it travelled from the lake to the Tower, then from the Tower to [[Dinobot Island (Animated)|Dinobot Island]], where it was shot down. Blitzwing split off to tackle Prowl, Ratchet and Bumblebee, before being brought down by a combined EMP burst. As Blitzwing rolled around and shelled the Autobots, Prowl noticed that Blitzwing's personalities were connected to his alternate modes and powers. By this time, Blitzwing was back in the air, but Bumblebee taunted the Triple Changer enough that Hothead Blitzwing took over, transformed from jet to tank—and fell into the lake. {{storylink|Megatron Rising - Part 2}}

The Decepticons set up a base in a mine containing carbon deposits, which would block their energy signatures so they could recover from their encounter with the Autobots without detection. When Megatron announced his new plan to conquer [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], Blitzwing felt the plan was crazy, as neither he nor Lugnut had any idea how they would get there. He changed his mind when Megatron explained that they would build their own [[space bridge]] using the specs Megatron had downloaded from [[Teletran-1]] during one of the encounters with the Autobots. However, they would need the captured Prof. Sumdac to help them, as the specs were incomplete. {{storylink|The Elite Guard}}

After Isaac Sumdac developed a device that shielded their energy signatures from Autobot sensors, Blitzwing and Lugnut went to retrieve a tachyon transmitter from the [[Cybertron Elite Guard|Elite Guard's]] [[Steelhaven (Animated)|ship]]. When they presented it to Megatron, Starscream appeared, tried to kill Megatron—and was killed by Megatron. However, Starscream appeared to survive, and Blitzwing spent the rest of the evening dumping Starscream's body into the river...repeatedly. The next day, Blitzwing and Megatron responded to an AllSpark energy signature which turned out to be a trap laid by Starscream. Blitzwing and Megatron then pursued the traitor, offlining him again. {{storylink|Mission Accomplished}}

Blitzwing was later sent by Megatron to track down an AllSpark fragment, with an oddly disappearing energy signature. He froze [[Bulkhead (Animated)|Bulkhead]] and much of the surrounding landscape, destroyed a bridge, [[Carmine Fanzone|Captain Fanzone]]'s [[Captain Fanzone's car|car]], and [[Master Disaster (Animated)|Master Disaster]]'s truck before [[Sari Sumdac]] managed to make him leave using Master Disaster's remote. {{storylink|Velocity}}

Blitzwing and Lugnut wound up stuck with the dirty work, collecting supplies for the construction of the space bridge. Foiled by the Autobots, they tried again the next day, hauling heavy trailers up a hill. Blitzwing's foot slipped, and he was nearly offlined by the trailer sending him careening towards a wall. Bracing for impact, his demise was interrupted by the intervention of [[Mixmaster (Animated)|Mixmaster]] and [[Scrapper (Animated)|Scrapper]]. Seeing a good opportunity in the brawny Constructibots, he tricked them into hauling the two trailers to the mine. Though Lugnut stated that Megatron would never stand for this, he reassured the huge Decepticon that the two newcomers would be offlined as soon as the work was done. True to his word, Blitzwing was about to have Lugnut dispatch the hapless bots when Megatron stepped in. He had bigger plans for them. {{storylink|Rise of the Constructicons}}

When the [[Constructicon (Animated)|Constructicons]] resurfaced, Megatron dispatched Blitzwing to bring them back to the mine, giving him some oil to entice them, and instructing the Triple Changer not to engage the Autobots. During his search, Blitzwing came across the Autobots. Although his Icy personality wanted to continue the search, his Hothead and Random personality decided to engage them. During the battle, Blitzwing utterly dominated the Autobots, and eventually took Ratchet hostage. At that point, Megatron ordered Blitzwing to disengage and resume his search. Finally locating the Constructicons, Blitzwing offered the two the oil barrels he was carrying, and led them back to base. {{storylink|Sari, No One's Home}}

Soon after the space bridge was near completion, the Autobots found the Decepticons' hideout and attempted to stop them. Blitzwing and Lugnut attacked the Autobots invading their underground base, but they ended up getting [[Stasis cuffs|stasis cuffed]] by [[Blurr (Animated)|Blurr]]. {{storylink|A Bridge Too Close, Part I}} Blitzwing was later retrieved by Scrapper and joined in on the attack on [[Omega Supreme (Animated)|Omega Supreme]]. His Hothead side was unimpressed with the gargantuan Autobot, and he vowed to damage Omega Supreme so badly he'd need a GPS locator to help him find his still-attached exhaust port. When [[Sentinel Prime (Animated)|Sentinel Prime]] hired Lockdown to capture Decepticons for him, Blitzwing was one of the bounty hunter's early victims. He was subsequently locked up in the Elite Guard flagship alongside [[Sunstorm (Animated)|Sunstorm]] and Swindle, and had mouth clamps placed on each of his faces to keep him quiet. {{storylink|Five Servos of Doom}}

As the Elite Guard headed back to Cybertron with their prisoners, they navigated the ship through an energy storm in outer space, causing a stray bolt of energy to hit the ship and free Swindle, who had been left unrestrained. The greedy Decepticon immediately released Blitzwing and the others from their bonds and provided them with new weaponry. Led by Lugnut, the Decepticons defeated and captured the crew, only for Optimus Prime to transwarp into the ship and release them. The ensuing battle took place outside the ship, where Blitzwing froze Sentinel Prime and threatened to blast his head off if the other Autobots didn't surrender. The plan was a success, and the captured Autobots were led into their own decontamination unit to be frozen. (Blitzwing's crazy side also wanted them grinded up into snowcones.) However, this was the Autobots' plan all along, as [[Jazz (Animated)|Jazz]] had tampered with the freeze-gas pipes, causing Blitzwing, Sunstorm and [[Ramjet (Animated)|Ramjet]] to be frozen instead. The three Decepticons were subsequently recaptured and brought to Cybertron, where Sentinel Prime displayed them during his [[Magnus]]-promotion parade. {{storylink|Decepticon Air}}

Holographically disguising himself as Optimus Prime, he broke into HomeTech's laboratory and successfully stole a controller, which he modified to be powerful enough to control ''all'' of the Pixie-6 'bots. He intended to wait until they had been sold and installed in every home in America, but the Autobots caught up with him at HomeTech's warehouse. Blitzwing was part of Megatron's band of Decepticons, chasing down the Autobots who had rediscover the long-lost AllSpark. Through some means, Blitzwing succeeded in obtaining the [[AllSpark Key|key]] and bringing it to the disembodied head of Megatron. Upon Megatron's rebirth, Blitzwing offered to help him destroy the oposing Autobots. Blitzwing later joined the other Decepticons in intercepting the rogue Starscream from the bounty hunter [[Lockdown (Animated)|Lockdown]]. When the "Starscream" they were given turned out to be a bomb, Blitzwing and the other Decepticons fled into the sky, only to be caught in the explosion ''anyway'' after [[Prowl (Animated)|Prowl]] launched the clones at them with his rocket packs. {{storylink|The Cool Episode 6}}

His tank-cannons become the jet's thrusters. The robot mode has three faces, which can be switched around via a knob on the back of the head. As [[Dark Energon]] rains from the sky and [[Megatron (Prime)|Megatron]] prepares to deliver a killing blow to [[Optimus Prime (Prime)|Optimus Prime]], a [[GroundBridge]] opens and [[Bulkhead (Prime)|Bulkhead]] tackles Megatron. While the big guy keeps Megatron busy, [[Arcee (Prime)|Arcee]] and [[Ratchet (Prime)|Ratchet]] pull Optimus through the GroundBridge. Arcee calls out to Bulkhead, who races back through the GroundBridge just before it closes. Megatron, left alone, realizes he now has all of the Dark Energon he needs.

Back at [[Autobot Outpost Omega One|base]], Optimus is glad to see that [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] is OK, but [[June Darby|June]] reminds him that Raf's lucky to be alive. The [[Autobot]]s discuss why so much Dark Energon is on [[Earth]], though Ratchet is skeptical that it's literally the blood of [[Unicron]]. Sick of the kids being endangered, June decides to take Raf to a real hospital, and announces she's taking the other kids as well, since they don't belong in the Autobots' war. [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]] refuses to go, and [[Jack Darby|Jack]] decides to stay too. June takes off in her car with Raf. No sooner has she left than [[William Fowler|Agent Fowler]] contacts the Autobots to report that earthquakes have occurred simultaneously worldwide, and other disasters are springing up as well.

As June drives away the base, lightning begins striking the ground near her car. She swerves to avoid it, and crashes into a power pole, though neither she nor Raf are hurt. The danger is not over, however, as a tornado begins bearing down on them. June tries to escape from it, but it begins to lift the car off the ground. Help arrives in the form of [[Bumblebee (Prime)|Bumblebee]], who grabs the car's front end and prevents it from flying off into the storm, while Raf climbs onto him over the hood. There's a moment of alarm as the car is ripped away, but June manages to survive clinging to the hood which Bumblebee is still clutching. Bumblebee drives the relieve pair back to base.

Back at the volcano, the [[Decepticon]]s are busy gathering up Dark Energon and loading it aboard the ''[[Nemesis (Prime)|Nemesis]]''. On the ship's bridge, Megatron is suddenly seized by a vision of the Earth exploding.

Bumblebee arrives back at base, and everyone's relieved to see Raf and June safe, though she grounds Jack. At roughly the same time, Fowler arrives to find out if the Autobots have made any progress in finding answers. Ratchet has traced the source of the earthquakes to the Earth's core and when he plays the tiny tremors as sound, everyone present hears a heartbeat. Meanwhile [[Soundwave (Prime)|Soundwave]] plays the same sound to Megatron, who feels it resonating through his head.

Deep within the volcano, [[Unicron]] awakens.

Realizing that Unicron is at the Earth's core, Optimus explains to the humans present about the age-old war between [[Primus]] and Unicron, the creation of the [[Thirteen original Transformers|Thirteen]], the [[Well of All Sparks]] and the defeat of Unicron. Fowler thinks they should find the hole Unicron crawled into the Earth through and fill it with explosives, but Optimus believes that the Earth formed around Unicron as he slept. Everyone wonders what will happen next.

[[Airachnid]] reports that the ''Nemesis'' hold is full of Dark Energon. Megatron places her in command while he goes to talk to Unicron. As the ship moves away, Megatron flies down to the lip of the volcano and beseeches Unicron to speak to him. Unicron is unimpressed with Megatron, and senses the taint of Primus. Unicron is shocked that the last of the Primes still lives, and tells Megatron he'll deal with it himself.

Optimus scouts one of the locations where a quake has struck and confirms that like the others it's rich in metals. Ratchet warns him of an increase in spark activity, and a few moments later, Unicron himself appears to Optimus as a huge stone being. Optimus asks Unicron to consider the many [[human]]s inhabiting Earth, whom rely on Unicron, but Unicron considers them parasites and opts to blast Optimus with lightning instead. Optimus retaliates, blasting Unicron until the stone golem falls and crumbles into the ground. Optimus has not won, however, as more Unicrons burst out of the ground all around him.

From time to time, the '''narrator''' will take the time to tell the audience more of what they need to know to understand the events happening in a given piece of fiction. There is no reason to believe what he is saying is ever not true, so his words are treated as [[canon]]. The narrator often has the distinct privilege of being the first to reveal the first facts regarding the strange and alien robotic creatures known as [[Transformer]]s even before we see them in action.

'''Scraplets''' is alleged to be the deadliest disease known to mechanical lifeforms in the entire galaxy. It is a complicated form of alien parasite, which lives solely to eat, reproduce, and eat some more.

Scraplets have evolved to resemble pink and blue nuts and bolts, washers and screws. However, when brought in contact with mechanical life, Scraplets instantly and painfully embed themselves into the skin of said creature and rapidly begin to self-replicate. The living metal around a Scraplet quickly corrodes, decaying and cracking away as the embedded Scraplet feasts. This process is painful and inevitably fatal for the infected robot. In a matter of hours, a single Scraplet can reproduce enough to completely infest an average-sized Cybertronian to the point of physical breakdown.

Scraplets are capable of transforming into vaguely humanoid robotic configurations, each capable of elementary speech and reasoning abilities. There are many different forms of humanoid Scraplet; the number of limbs, eyes, fangs and claws vary, though they are all quite tiny by Transformer standards. They use the locomotion afforded by this mode to spread out from a dead or dying host and infect mechanoids whom they might not otherwise be able to come in contact with.

A mass of Scraplets can also merge together into a combined humanoid form. In this form they have enormous strength and agility and a primitive group consciousness. However, this form also carries with it some limitations, as they present a larger target and become vulnerable to conventional assault.

It is said that there is [[Water|a rare chemical of legend that can kill a Scraplet]], but this is doubtful.

When [[Ratbat (G1)|Ratbat]] needed to transport the first prototype [[Wash and Roll]] to [[Earth]], he hired a [[freighter pilot]] to fly the cargo there. Emerging from warp space in Earth's [[solar system]], the pilot exited the craft to perform some necessary repairs. As he did, the ship passed through what seemed to be a cloud of space dust. The "dust" rapidly infected the pilot, who lost control of the ship as it crashed on Earth.

Not hearing back from the pilot, Ratbat sent the Decepticon [[Triple Changer]]s to investigate. They found the stricken pilot near the crashed ship, but didn't get very far in interrogating him about his failure before they too were infected. When Blaster and Goldbug arrived, Blaster landed in the crater and was soon infected as well. The freighter pilot survived long enough to warn [[Bumblebee (G1)|Goldbug]] about the infection, just before his head fell off. The Scraplets charged toward the tasty-looking Goldbug, who was defended by his human friend [[Charlie Fong]]. But as the two headed off to try and find a cure, Goldbug hesitated, reluctant to abandon Blaster, and he too was infected. Hours later, the infection was so wide-spread that Goldbug couldn't continue driving. {{storylink|Crater Critters}}

Made aware of the infection by [[Astrotrain (G1)|Astrotrain]], Ratbat decided to take decisive action to contain it. Rather than risk more Decepticon lives, he captured [[Throttlebot|five Autobots]] and sent them to Earth. His mission for them: use vats of acid spray to destroy all infected Transformers on the planet, Autobot and Decepticon alike!

Charlie Fong pushed Goldbug through the desert to a service station, where the appalled attendants offered him a glass of water. Charlie was shocked when he spilled some on Goldbug to see the Scraplets die and fall off. Holy crap, pinball wizard and a miracle cure: ''water!!''

Before Charlie could grab a hose to "wash his car", the attendants restrained him, thinking he was delusional. Two of the Throttlebots arrived just then, regretfully attempting to destroy Goldbug; only Charlie's interference saved him, as he demonstrated the miracle cure. Satisfied, [[Rollbar (G1)|Rollbar]] and [[Wide Load]] stood by while Charlie hosed down Goldbug, curing him.

Goldbug and company returned to the crash site with two tankers of water to save Blaster, but couldn't do so without also curing the three Decepticons. Before they could take action, thousands of the Scraplets combined into a muscular mauve giant, bashing the weaponless Throttlebots around. Goldbug cured the Decepticons, who used their firepower to bring down the giant, which Blaster then destroyed with one of the acid vats. The remaining water was used to remove the Scraplets which infected the Throttlebots during the battle, and the outbreak on Earth was at an end. {{storylink|The Cure!}}

[[Raf Esquivel|Raf]], while investigating the base, discovered a Scraplet scuttling around, and thought it was an Autobot pet. He decided to play catch with the creature and threw a bolt, which the Scraplet promptly devoured. Raf carried the scraplet to the inner area of the base where [[Bumblebee (Prime)| Bumblebee]], [[Bulkhead (Prime)| Bulkhead]], and [[Ratchet (Prime)| Ratchet]] were waiting. They saw the creature and told him the damage it could do to them. Raf thought it to be harmless, and that Ratchet was kidding, until the Scraplet leapt out of his arms and chewed large scratches into Bumblebee's leg. Ratchet knew more Scraplets awaited and sent Bulkhead, [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]], Raf, and Bumblebee to hunt down more while he tried to repair the Scraplets' damage with [[Jack Darby|Jack]] watching his back. The Scraplets ambushed Bulkhead and Bumblebee and a swarm of them flew down from the ceiling and began chewing on Ratchet. Jack discovered that by using a fire extinguisher, one could freeze the Scraplets.

The creatures were fended off by the three children, who were not considered food by the Scraplets. The Scraplets had done considerable damage to many systems, and it was up to the children to fix them. They fixed the Energon supply cable that fed the [[ground bridge]], bringing it back online. The Autobots formulated a plan to rid of the Scraplets, and bring back [[Optimus Prime (Prime)| Optimus]] and [[Arcee (Prime)| Arcee]], who were exploring the Arctic. Activating the now operational ground bridge, Bulkhead decided to act as bait to draw the Scraplets through the ground bridge.
