William Lennox is a Captain in the United States Army Rangers, stationed at SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar. A young, yet capable officer, Lennox has the friendship and trust of the men under his command.

He has a wife and a newborn daughter back home.

Fiction
Transformers (2007 film)
:Actor: Josh Duhamel

Returning back to SOCCENT after a mission behind enemy lines, Lennox's men discussed what they were going to do once they got home to the States. As usual, Fig talked about his mom's cooking in Spanish, Epps commented that he'll never accept a dinner invitation to Fig's house and Donnelly reminisced about flat beer, cold hot dogs and baseball on weekends. When asked about what he wanted to do, Lennox replied that he only wanted to hold his baby girl for the first time, to which his men teased him for his sappy sentiment.

After their CV-22 Ospreys touched down, Lennox was writing a report when local boy Mahfouz visited him carrying a bag of water. Soon afterwards, he talked to his wife Sarah and their daughter on the satellite video phone. Lennox declared that their daughter was so cute that he just wanted to chew on her cheeks, and that they both made one good looking kid. To his delight, Sarah told him their girl has his laugh, though he wondered if she had merely farted. Around the same time as a mysterious MH-53 Pave Low helicopter had landed on the base, his connection to Sarah became distorted, and he tried to tell her that he'll be home soon as the transmission was cut.

Suddenly, the base was under attack as the helicopter somehow transformed into a giant robot. Leading his men and the boy Mahfouz, they witnessed Epps nearly being crushed by the weapons platform before Fig saves him by firing a sabot from his grenade launcher into the 'chest' of the weapon. With Epps in tow, Lennox's unit escaped as the robot laid waste to SOCCENT, leaving no survivors.

The next morning, after making their way through the desert, the men discussed the past night's events, with Epps expressing his belief that the weapon, whatever it was, looked right back at him as he was taking its photograph. Lennox determined that no matter what, they had to get the information back to the Pentagon, and asked Mahfouz to lead them to his village where they could find a telephone line. Unknown to them, a second robot, a mechanical scorpion, was listening to their conversation and stalking them. As they neared the outskirts of the village, a metal spiked tail rose out of the sand and nearly killed Lennox when Epps fired at it, saving his life. Unfortunately, the giant scorpion killed top kick Donnelly and the men ran for their lives to relative cover of the village.

Ordering the men to form a defensive perimeter, Lennox followed Mahfouz to his father Akram's house, the latter of whom provided him with a cell phone. As the others fought off Scorponok, Lennox attempted to call for help from the Pentagon, but had more than a little trouble with the operator who demanded a credit card despite the life-and-death situation he was in. After successfully searching for Epps's credit card in one of the latter's many back pockets, Lennox successfully contacted the Pentagon, but not before the operator tried to get him to sign onto a Premium Plus World Service Gold Package. He'll never use that company again.

[[Image:Movie_LennoxEpps_backpockets.jpg|right|thumb|250px|10: LEFT CHEEK!
20: GOTO 10]]

The Pentagon sends in two A-10 Thunderbolt IIs from Strike Package Bravo, to which Lennox orders the men to laze the target for the the Air Force' radars to lock onto and fire upon. Unfortunately, the A-10s do no appreciable damage to the metal scorpion with Epps expressing disbelief that it could still be alive. Lennox suggested the biggest barrels the Air Force has: the 105 millimeter cannons of AC-130 Spectre gunship. This is signaled with a shout of "Bring the rain!", pounding Scorponok into the sand. As the dust settled, the scorpion got up and dived into the sand, but not before leaving part of its damaged tail behind. Lennox and Epps ran to check on Fig, who had been struck by one of the scorpion's missiles.

En-route back to the America, the team studies the tail they salvaged from the battle scene. As the analyst described that it seemed to be covered in a Self-regenerating molecular armor, Lennox pointed out where a sabot round had burned right through. Turning to Epps's expertise, he asked if it was correct that sabot rounds had a 6000 degree magnesium burn, to which Epps said was true. As Lennox ordered Epps to tell command to load sabot rounds on all their gunships, the tail suddenly came to life and narrowly missed impaling them. Epps angrily berated the analyst for telling them it was dead, Lennox ordered them to strap the tail down, while concluding that the technology behind it was 'wicked'. Touching down at Nellis Air Force Base, no sooner had Lennox's men walked off the plane when mysterious government agents pull up in black SUVs and order the Rangers to come with them.

After arriving at Hoover Dam, he and his unit meet with Secretary of Defense John Keller, and are taken to see the Iceman. After the Iceman began to thaw, Lennox and his unit headed for the armory, where they had a special on forty mm sabot rounds. When Sam Witwicky asked Agent Simmons to free a good robot, Simmons refuses to listen, until Lennox gets him to cooperate by putting a gun to his chest, resulting in a Mexican standoff between his unit and Sector Seven. Simmons ordered him to release him, but Lennox told Simmons he and his men don't take orders from people who don't exist. They won the standoff. Losing is really not an option for those guys. Lennox and his men subsequently escort Sam and the car to Mission City, meeting other good robots en route.

After arriving in Mission City, they were attacked by a fighter jet which some truck called "Starscream". Later, a tank started shelling them, which the good robots totally triple teamed. Lennox and his men engaged the tank, but it just wouldn't die. Telling Sam to take the All Spark to a building to be evacuated, Lennox and his team engaged the tank thing, which began to overtake them. It was only with the help of the the the Camaro and some girl that they were able to kill the thing.

Later, Lennox and his men went to assist Optimus Prime in his fight with Megatron. During the battle, that helicopter which attacked the base in Qatar arrived and went to help his boss. Lennox totally killed it dead by the time honored method of:

* Getting on a motorcycle
* Jumping off the motorcycle as it slams into the enemy
* Sliding under his opponent.
* Shooting them in the gearbox with sabot rounds until they are dead.
* Going "woo-hoo", "yee-ha", or another exclamation of success.

His final action in the battle of Mission City was to shoot a sabot round in the chest of Megatron, offering an opening to Sam to ram the All Spark in his chest, thus allowing the victory. Transformers (2007)

After the deaths of the Decepticons, Ironhide gave him a ride home, where he was reunited with his wife and met his newborn daughter. It is unknown if he planned to remain with Lennox.

Trivia
* A later scene where Lennox comforts the dying Figueroa was cut from the theatrical release of the film, but briefly seen in the December 2006 trailer. The scene survived in both the novelization and the children's novelization where (despite many changes made to tone down descriptions of violence against robots) he still died. Go fig!

* Early scripts give Lennox's rank as Sergeant.

* Lennox is given the nickname "Wild Bill" in the novelization. Whether this was a deliberate reference to the G.I.Joe character remains unknown.

* Josh Duhamel's left foot was injured by a piece of fake shrapnel during filming.

* The novelization reveals that Lennox's daughter's name is Annabelle.

* The Capture of Bumblebee set from the "Screen Battles" packs features what appear to be two Sector Seven soldiers, but one of them is obviously Lennox painted in Sector Seven colors.
It’s a good part of what allows her to maintain her rootless teen-aged existence hitch-hiking across the United States, living on theft and what little kindness she receives from strangers (although two mace sprays nestled in her backpack attest to how little she’s willing to trust said strangers).

Something happened to Verity when she was a child, though, something that hurt her so badly that she refuses to form a serious bond with anyone or show any sign of fear. It’s been with her so long that she abandoned several foster homes and (presumably) welcoming families when she was in her mid-teens. Because of that hurt Verity sees most people as marks, dupes or threats. Fear of getting hurt again keeps her moving when she maybe ought to settle down, and makes her abrasive and superior.
Whether it’ll get her killed one day is anyone’s guess…
While on the run, as usual, Verity had the (mis)fortune of stealing the palm computer of a Machination agentm-a computer she couldn't know mapped out secret Decepticon bases. After fleeing the bus the two were on and hitching a ride with Hunter O'Nion, the Battlechargers and Thundercracker pursued the pair, destroying Hunter's bus. Fortunately, Ratchet was nearby, and offered them aid. Infiltration issue 0 They fled to the garage of Verity's friend Jimmy Pink, but they had been followed, and Jimmy was forced to join them on the run. Infiltration issue 1

Verity was not content to just wait at Autobot HQ, though. When the Autobots discovered the Decepticons' abandoned Oregon base, Verity, Hunter, Jimmy, Ratchet, and Bumblebee disobeyed orders to reconnoiter it. Verity was almost killed by Decepticons trying to cover their tracks when she went deeper into the base, finding the corpses of people turned into facsimiles, and Megatron. Infiltration issue 4

When the Machination seemingly killed Hunter and Sunstreaker while under Optimus Prime's orders to return the humans home, Verity became visibly distraught, despite her "tough girl" personality. Escalation issue 1 The hope that Hunter could still be alive compelled her, Jimmy, Ratchet, and Ironhide to break Autobot orders again. Hunter's mechanic skills and Verity's hacking skills led the quartet to a Machination facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Escalation issue 3 Verity and Jimmy managed to break into the compound, hidden under an auto parts store. Verity located a strange business card, emblazoned only with an "M". Unfortunately, soon after, the two were knocked out with gas. Escalation issue 4 Ironhide and Ratchet managed to save the duo, but at the expense of Ironhide; the facility exploded, severely damaging Ironhide. No one knew it yet, but the unconscious Verity, safe inside Ratchet, was clutching the "M" card. Escalation issue 6

Devastation
The palm-top which Verity stole was examined by Nightbeat and contributed to the Autobots' decision to relocate the Ark-19. Devastation issue 1 Unfortunately, the vessel was shot down by Sixshot; Ratchet, Verity and Jimmy ejected in an escape pod before the crash. Devastation issue 2 Verity was injured by Sixshot's attack, but Ratchet's avatar was able to treat her wounds. Sixshot located the Autobot and his human guests and gave chase. When escape seemed impossible, Ratchet dropped off his human friends for their own protection. Devastation issue 3 She apparently died after going through an orbital bounce. Devastation issue 4
If you crossed Scooby-Doo's Shaggy with The X-Files Fox Mulder, Hunter O'Nion is who you'd get. With scruffy ginger hair, a green "Alien Death Ray" T-shirt and a VW Kombi van, you'd be forgiven for writing him off as some hippie slacker, but Hunter O'Nion (that's Oh-Nigh-On, not un-yun; he's a little sensitive about his last name) is really a modern-day questing knight. He runs the Mechatopia.com website, a repository for information about the presence of gigantic extraterrestrial mechanoids on Earth, and is willing to personally scour the back-roads of continental North America for further evidence.

If there's one problem with Hunter, it's that he's not the most sensitive of people; also, in his drive to uncover the truth, he can get very blunt and direct when someone who may know more than they let on gets evasive - even if that someone has good reason to dissemble.

A chance encounter with Verity Carlo in Arizona, though, gives him more than he could have wished for: Not only does he achieve personal contact with an actual alien robot in disguise, he's dropped right into the middle of a covert war. The question is, now that Hunter's found his proof, what will he do with it?

Fiction
IDW Comics continuity
ongoing
After picking up Verity Carlo in the North American desert, he was surprisingly thrust into the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. After being rescued from a Decepticon assault by Ratchet, he offered assistance to the Autobots in an..."unofficial" capacity, spying on an abandoned Decepticon base before it was destroyed by Blitzwing and Skywarp, under orders from Starscream. Infiltration

After this mission, Optimus Prime ordered that Hunter and the other humans be sent home. However, as the Autobots escorted them away from the Autobot base, a Machination assult team attacked. It appears that Hunter and Sunstreaker were killed by the Machination, but upon examination of Sunstreaker's husk, Rachet discovered that it was a fake.

Meanwhile, Hunter was being operated on by the Machination, his body becoming the host for mysterious implants. Dante presented Hunter to a pleased, mysterious, and damaged Transformer who ordered mass-production to begin. Dante, gesturing to a wall of headless Sunstreaker bodies, implied that Hunter may still play a role in the Machination's "new world order." Escalation

The Machination subjected Hunter to an extensive regimen of brainwashing, after which Dante was informed that the boy was a blank slate, an organic machine that they could do with as they wished. Quality control for this process was apparently lacking, as Hunter was able to retain his own thoughts through a mantra of useless science fiction trivia. Skulking unseen through the Machination facility, Hunter was surprised to discover the severed but still functioning head of Sunstreaker, begging him for death! Devastation Hunter then submitted himself to the process of becoming a Headmaster, which Sunstreaker warned would hurt. A lot. Devastation issue 4

Starscream is easily as accomplished, powerful and deserving of leadership as Megatron. At least, that's what he thinks. Power-hungry and driven by jealousy, Starscream operates through three ideals: lying, manipulation and deception. And when all else fails, a bit of sabotage never goes astray. Wise bots are careful about turning their backs on Starscream, just in case it's the day he finally decides to shove in the knife.
Transform and Roll Out!
Like others of his kind, Starscream seeks to betray Megatron and take over leadership of the Decepticons. This time, however, he's not afraid to plant bombs on his mighty leader. In the aftermath of the explosion, Starscream got so caught up in his own greatness that he didn't notice that his comrades abandoned him on a ship hurtling towards an exploding space bridge.

Over the next fifty solar cycles, Starscream searched for the All Spark on his own, using the damaged ship as a base (and probably getting a few screws loose in his central processor). He later discovered that the All Spark was on Earth and adopted a jet fighter as an alternate mode to search for it. When he revealed himself to the Autobots, he quickly thrashed each of them individually. Starscream mocked them, apparently assuming that the Autobots thought they had really defeated Megatron (whom he referred to as "the great Megatron" without sarcasm, so he seems to have at least a loathing respect for his leader's power). All too boastful of his cunning, Starscream boldly admitted that Megatron was already defeated by the bomb which Starscream himself had put on him. Despite being more powerful than the Autobots, Starscream failed to take the All Spark, partially because he spent too much time gloating. Optimus Prime grabbed Starscream in midair, and they opened the All Spark, releasing a massive wave of energy. Optimus was killed by the energy surge (he got better), but Starscream's fate was unspecified. But he'll be back... Transform and Roll Out!
He did not obey orders at first and learned of the consequences firsthand as he was nearly killed by a nanite-enhanced cockroach.
