The final battle at the Decepticon Space City begins! But what are the Decepticons hiding?

Summary
In Earth's orbit, the Decepticon Space City is busy bombarding the planet with a destructive onslaught of meteorites. Star Saber orders the Autobots to launch a full-scale assault. As the Autobots invade the fortress, Deathsaurus attacks Star Saber.

Inside, the Autobots make short work of the Dinoforce but are caught off-guard by one of Leozack's traps. Smugly, Leozack and the Breastforce observe the battle.

Outside, Deathsaurus has Star Saber right where he wants him and prepares to cut his lifelong foe in half. Suddenly, the Space City fires its death ray directly at Deathsaurus, blasting him square in the back.

At the control center of the Space City, it is revealed that Leozack fired the blast. He intends to kill both Star Saber and Deathsaurus at the same time, allowing him to become Emperor of Destruction. Deathsaurus has a thing or two to say about that and, with Star Saber's help, fires his gun at the control center. The blast surprises Leozack, giving Star Saber the chance to smash through the window and take him down with his Planetary Impulse Sword.

Defeated, a sobbing and pathetic Leozack begs the Autobots not to destroy the city. The Autobots are curious as to what he's hiding, imagining it to be pretty important. The injured, yet unusually friendly and forgiving Deathsaurus hobbles into the City, greeting both Leozack and Solon. Deathsaurus concedes defeat, announcing that there are those who need their help. He then opens a large door to reveal...

The Decepticon civilians! Thousands of Decepticon wives and children, all happy to see their family members coming back from battle. As Leozack is reunited with his sister, Lyzack, and the Dinoforce greet their adorable children, Deathsaurus' wife, Esmeral, approaches Star Saber. She explains that the top of the Decepticon Space City is where all the Decepticon civilians had been living while the factions were at war. Leozack claims that they'd been plundering energy in order to maintain the city and keep their families alive. The Autobots sympathetically understand their situation, but the Victories tell them that they should not have taken energy at the expense of human lives.

Victory Leo and Patty then announce that the fighting is over and all the Decepticons are invited to live in peace on Planet Victory. Jean and Solon ask Star Saber and Deathsaurus to shake on it and the two formerly bitter enemies come together for a hearty handshake and a declaration of peace.

Notes
*In the Victory cartoon, the Decepticon Space City was much different; being less of an actual city and more of a Death Star.

*So, Decepticon civilians. Yeah. The presence of Decepticon civilians would seem to go against the origins of the faction as seen in "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4". There, it was established that the Decepticons were initially built by the Quintessons as warrior robots, hence their inherent need to kill everyone and everything. So Decepticon civilians, Decepticons that don't want to fight, would seem at odds with their origin. However, the Victory manga is decidedly removed from the animated series continuity, so make of it what you will.

*Despite how crazy the sight of Transformer babies might be, it was established in "The Star of Friendship, Jean and Star Saber!" that, at least in this continuity, Transformers start out as children and grow up in a manner similar to humans. It is possible that this could be accomplished by having a Transformer's spark periodically transplanted into an older-looking body; however, there is no canon evidence to either confirm or deny this theory.
