The '''Giant Purple Griffin''' was one of the original [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]]'s most ridiculous creations: a giant flying building shaped like a Sphinx with wings and a bird beak. The Giant Purple Griffin had a mane of ambulatory tentacles that could be used to grasp at opponents.
