In an almost pathetic turn of events, his best friend happens to be the maid droid stationed with him at his bunker. As it is his only companion, he is very protective of it. Hydra may suffer from cabin fever, but he is still a talented warrior whom the Predacons can always count on when they need additional support.

He was killed in an unbearably stupid way by [[Hardhead]] who accidentally cut open his chest while threatening the [[Maximals]] [[Longrack (BWN)|Longrack]] and [[Heinrad]]. While Hydra, with his last breath, demanded an apology, Hardhead committed seppuku. However, they were able to accomplish their mission of planting a bomb in the Maximal base. Unfortunately, Longrack and Heinrad later deactivated the bomb.

'''Megastorm''' is the Predacon Duke of Destruction and baby brother to [[Galvatron (BWII)|Galvatron]], the [[Emperor of Destruction]]. Megastorm is a devious little twerp, always plotting to kill his big bro and take his place as leader of the Predacon rebellion. Galvatron is well aware of this, but looks the otherway purely out of brotherly love.

Megastorm can transform into a tank. He is later upgraded into '''Gigastorm''', a giant mechanical ceratosaurus (or possibly [[Hojoni]]), which gave him a base mode and a battle station mode. The upgrade included an enlarged title as Arch-Duke of Destruction.

In jet-mode, he is capable of unleashing a hellish storm of laser fire from above, rendering even the toughest of enemies to piles of smoldering ash. In robot mode he wields the power of the "Ice Needle," an attack which allows him to fire an onslaught of super-cooled plasma daggers from his hands capable of tearing through even the toughest of metals. His chest plate can detach and transform into a hawk-like attack partner or a handheld blaster called the [[Hawkbreast]].

Gaihawk was imprisoned on Planet Micro before the show started. Later, the other Breastforce members busted him out. Leozack later called a meeting with all of the Breastforce members except Hellbat. During the meeting, Gaihawk seemed to more or less get along with the other members. When Leozack revealed that they were getting a new member to replace the treacherous Hellbat, Gaihawk could not believe that Hellbat was so untrustworthy.

When Hellbat reported that the new Breastforce member, Deathcobra, had been killed, Gaihawk showed more emotion than the other four. Possibly, he had been friends with Deathcobra. Gaihawk instantly jumped to the conclusion that Deathcobra had been killed on Star Sabre's orders and requested to be allowed to remain and settle his vendetta with Star Sabre. What this vendetta is has not yet been revealed.
