Christmas is a holiday celebrated by humans on December 25th (or 24th, some places). It seems to revolve around the exchange of material goods, the slaughter and festooning of conifers, and the consumption of roasted avians. It may also be about the birth of a purported deity, but despite the interaction between Transformers and humans, little data has been collected regarding this strange human custom. According to human legend, an individual, who possesses various designations, will travel around the world in a hoversled guided by eight to nine quadripedal herbivores, enter a human domicile and dispense material goods to obedient humans, and leave a fossil fuel for the disobedient. Those poor obedients! Another human custom, Black Friday, is rumored to be the busiest day of shopping for the material goods needed for exchange on Christmas.
:Scraplets are a disease found in the Generation 1 continuity family.

Scraplets is alleged to be the deadliest disease known to mechanical lifeforms in the entire galaxy. A single scraplet resembles a tiny robot that can transform itself into something that appears to be a harmless nut or bolt, but they can self-replicate with incredible speed and embed themselves en masse into the skin of a mechanical organism, and over time, digest the victim nat by nat.

There is no known cure for scraplets other than a legend that claims a "rare chemical" was once discovered (and subsequently forgotten) that could kill the scraplets. So take precautions, kiddies: No insulation, no copulation.
:Bonecrusher is a Decepticon from the Movie continuity family.

Bonecrusher is a Transformer that can be described with one word: Hate. Bonecrusher hates this wiki. Bonecrusher hates the fact that his toy is so small. Bonecrusher even hates amusingly appropriate Avril Lavigne quotes. Basically Bonecrusher hates everything and everyone, particularly buses, and lives for the day when all of creation is crushed and destroyed beneath his feet. If anyone tries to befriend him (with the possible exception of folks from Force Protection, as noted below), he will have nothing to do with them. His overwhelming anger and hatred extends even to his fellow Decepticons, including Megatron himself. Only fear of Megatron keeps him on their side. Plus, he really hates the Autobots.

Were you to ask if there was anything he didn't hate, he might tell you that he hates it when people ask that. More likely, though, he'd just grind your torso into a fine powder. The hatred of Bonecrusher isn't a quiet, brooding sulking, thing nor a whiny Emo sort of hate. His hatred is of the explosive, violently psychotic sort, and the only thing that soothes his twisted spark is to sneer at the mangled remains of those he destroyed.

He transforms into a Buffalo mine clearing vehicle used by the military. It is made exclusively in South Carolina and the drivers routinely use it to drive to the local Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. He hates drivers, the mine clearing vehicle, the drive-thrus, and South Carolina. He loves tacos, however.

Fiction
Ghosts of Yesterday
Bonecrusher was aboard the crew of the Nemesis, led by Starscream, who were searching for Megatron, who was lost thousands of years ago, along with the All Spark. He hated the Nemesis, but would hate trying to walk home more. He also hated the All Spark, but Megatron wanted it, so he decided not to complain. Finally, he hated Starscream, but all the other Decepticons do as well, making it something he has in common with his fellow Decepticons. He hated that.

Bonecrusher was picked to lead an assault on the Ark. His only response to the command was a growl, but he dislikes being in charge, as his only strategy in combat is to violently charge the enemy and rip him apart with his bare hands. Everyone else uses their stupid guns, and Bonecrusher is a terrible shot. After Blackout had his exhaust port handed to him for challenging Starscream, Bonecrusher had to drag him back to the Nemesis. Bonecrusher would have preferred to leave him to rot. During the subsequent fight, Bonecrusher has to fight Ironhide, and managed to dent his armor. However, Bonecrusher does demand answers from Starscream when Blackout demands information on why the Decepticon leader wanted to destroy an alien vessel, cause damn it, even Bonecrusher needs reasons to kill (well, not really, he was just getting fed up with Starscream). Bonecrusher was forced to drag Starscream back to the Nemesis when he was injured by the alien ship. He hates being a courier. Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday

Transformers Movie Prequel (Target)
Bonecrusher was a member of Starscream's unit that was keeping Optimus Prime's reinforcements out of Tyger Pax. When Brawl arrived with news of Megatron and the All Spark, Bonecrusher insisted that they move on as they had already killed all the Autobots in the area. He then demanded that Brawl take them to Megatron or he would kill them all. Witnessing the launch of the All Spark, Barricade commented that Cybertron would die, but Bonecrusher replied that they should let it die, and that Barricade should join it in death. After Starscream and Blackout settled their differences, the group headed after Megatron.

The Decepticons made planetfall on Earth in Afghanistan, quickly attracting the attention of a nearby US military base, which sent out an armoured personnel carrier to investigate. Bonecrusher declared his satisfaction in finally having something to kill, but this chance was snatched away when Wreckage scanned the vehicle and destroyed it. He hated when that happened. Hitting the US airbase, Bonecrusher easily killed the humans before scanning a Buffalo mine-clearance vehicle and complaining that there weren't enough lifeforms to kill. Transformers Movie Prequel (Target) Volume 2

Note: In the panel were the Decepticons react to the arrival of the armoured personnel carrier, it is likely that Bonecrusher's speech bubble regarding the military base was actually meant for Wreckage (as the latter was the one who tracked the base location), and that Brawl was incorrectly given Bonecrusher's own speech bubble about killing things. On the last page, Bonecrusher's speech bubble asking Starscream if it was going to be easy is clearly meant for Barricade, as that is who Starscream responds to. Bonecrusher hates ventriloquism.

While hiding in a military base, Bonecrusher came under attack by the humans twice, and required assistance from Starscream to escape. He hates needing help from people, especially from people he hates.

Transformers (2007) film
:Voice actor: Jimmie Wood (English)

Bonecrusher was hiding out in the motor pool of a military base when he received a communique from Starscream ordering the Decepticons to to mobilize and converge on the location of the All Spark. He rendezvoused with Barricade and Devastator, and the three Decepticons headed off together to intercept the Autobots and their human allies who had the All Spark in their possession.

Devastator wandered off somewhere, so Bonecrusher and Barricade continued their pursuit on the freeway. Barricade activated his sirens to clear the traffic and allow them more maneuvering room. Unsatisfied with Barricade's less conspicuous method, and since he hated rush-hour traffic, Bonecrusher used his mine-scoop to flip cars out of his way. (He kinda liked that.)

After Barricade pulled over to the side of the road, Bonecrusher transformed while still moving and skated towards the Autobots. Optimus Prime transformed and slid into position to block his path. Seeing the Autobot he really hated (and that's saying a lot), Bonecrusher smashed through a bus (it irked him), and tackled Optimus Prime, pushing him off an overpass tumbling and falling off the edge, dragging the Autobot leader down with him.

When they landed, he sucker-punched Optimus Prime, who then hit Bonecrusher so hard one of the Decepticon's optics popped free from its socket (he liked that eye... well, no, he didn't, he just hated not having it more), and the two played a little cat-and-mouse along the overpasses. After Prime jumped down to ground level, Bonecrusher swung his tail wildly at the Autobot, all the while screaming incoherently. This gave Optimus the opportunity he needed to get his sword ready... which the Autobot used to sever Bonecrusher's right arm and stab through the Decepticon's neck, decapitating him. Optimus then wrenched the head from it's neck and discarded it on the ground, he hated that too.

Bonecrusher hates his movie role. Transformers (2007)
He has six rolling wheels in this mode, and two sculpted, non-functional spare wheels.

: In robot mode he has elements resembling both his 2005 design and the final design used in the movie, though a major deviation to both designs is that the entire front shell halves of the vehicle mode are mounted upon his arms. His arms have limited articulation due to this kibble, but can extend out into really long arms. His legs fare better, with ball jointed hips, swivel knees and ankles, but his hips can often detach from the codpiece holding them together. The mine-fork splits to form a grabber-claw, which can snap onto victims with a geared slider Automorph mechanism.

* The real Buffalo mine-sweeping vehicle hasn't in fact, such a huge fork. It is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide. The image that inspired Bonecrusher's design was actually a Photoshopped image put on the official Force Protection company's site to make it look more impressive. A 10-foot-wide (3 m) appliance had to be fixed on Bonecrusher's arm for the movie. He hated that.

* Force Protection really, really loves Bonecrusher and that he has picked their Buffalo as its alt mode. They are actually quite proud of it. Bonecrusher is not sure what to think about that.

* Bonecrusher's toy was used as a prop for a CNN Headline News report demonstrating the real Buffalo vehicle's mine-sweeping arm. He hates the Lincoln Memorial.

* It's a matter of debate whether or not Bonecrusher actually said anything intelligible in English during his brief appearance in the finished film, or whether he is talking in Cybertronian. At various points in his fight with Optimus Prime, he does emit some garbled roars that might be English. However, there is little agreement among viewers as to whether he said anything at all, much less what he supposedly said. Or it could just be that he hates speaking coherently. Kinda makes you wonder why nobody has thought to contact Jimmie Wood and ask him just what the slag he was saying.

*Aside from Scorponok, Bonecrusher is the only Transformer that appeared in the movie that as of this writing18:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC) has not had any of his toy molds re-used for recent or future toys. Bonecrusher undoubtedly hates that, too, especially since he hasn't gotten any slavish redecos unlike others.

* Bonecrusher is Michael Bay's favorite character from the film, despite his limited screentime - so much so that he named his new dog after him. Bonecrusher is a cat person, so he hates that.

*Last but not least, Bonecrusher hates you. Yeah, you. You know who you are. Don't try to pretend you don't know, either. Bonecrusher hates ignorance.
Bonecrusher was aboard the crew of the Nemesis, led by Starscream, who were searching for Megatron, who was lost thousands of years ago, along with the All Spark. Bonecrusher was picked to lead an assault on the Ark. His only response to the command was a growl, but he dislikes being in charge, as his only strategy in combat is to violently charge the enemy and rip him apart with his bare hands.

: Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path.

: He is surprisingly okay with these little tools of death.

Bonecrusher is a Ravage (G1)|cat]] person, so he hates that.

*Last but not least, Bonecrusher hates you. Yeah, you. You know who you are. Don't try to pretend you don't know, either. Bonecrusher hates ignorance.
Devastator wandered off somewhere, so Bonecrusher and Barricade continued their pursuit on the freeway. Barricade activated his sirens to clear the traffic and allow them more maneuvering room.

Bonecrusher is a cat person, so he hates that (I knew it!! Bonecrusher DOES love kittens!! SCORE!!).

*Last but not least, Bonecrusher hates you. Yeah, you. You know who you are. Don't try to pretend you don't know, either. Bonecrusher hates ignorance. Hate. Hate.

:Voice actor: Daniel Riordan

:(Note: Bonecrusher only appears in the Decepticon campaign of the game, and as a non-playable character t'boot. It's just as well, though. He would've hated being playable. He would've especially hated being played by YOU.)

: Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path.

: He is surprisingly okay with these little tools of death.

Bonecrusher is a Cheetor|cat person, so he hates that (I knew it!! Bonecrusher DOES love kittens!! SCORE!!).

*Last but not least, Bonecrusher hates you. Yeah, you. You know who you are. Don't try to pretend you don't know, either. Bonecrusher hates ignorance.

*Bonecrusher (Deluxe, 2007)
:Japanese ID Number: MD-09

: Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path.

: He is surprisingly okay with these little tools of death.

: He is named "Bonescrusher" on the Canadian cross-sell. Guess how Bonecrusher feels about that little mispelling.
Trivia

Booster X10 is one of many small Transformers who were once normal machines brought to life by the power of the All Spark. Booster X10 loves to mess with his user's head, and he does that through messing with their ears. Sound manipulation is his specialty, and not only can he record and playback sound, but alter still in the air soundwaves. He laughs to himself, knowing how much trouble and strife he can cause with a warped word in conversation, or changing something like an ambulance siren into a mewing kitten.
Deathsaurus is a savage and cruel dictator, yet he's oddly fond of human children.

The Decepticon Emperor of Destruction, he bears a bitter grudge against Autobot Supreme Commander, Star Saber. He prefers to lead his warriors from a distance, though engages in battle when necessary. Much like a Bond villain, he'll gladly tell you his plan before leaving you unsupervised in a delayed-result death trap. That said, he is ferociously powerful, and has come disturbingly close to victory on several occasions. He even pulled the trigger in an attack that would have killed a helpless Star Saber, only to find he'd transfered too much energy to his fortress and the damn gun didn't work. The gun's designer was later found impaled on a church spire.

He commands the Decepticon Space City. Deathsaurus is a Breastforce warrior, meaning he has two detachable breastplates which can transform into the Tigerbreast and Eaglebreast, respectively.

Years ago, striving to become the Decepticons' new Emperor of Destruction, Deathsaurus created a gigantic battle fortress capable of destroying planets, but an attack by the young Autobot commander Star Saber saw the fortress de-powered and trapped within a region of space known as the Dark Nebula. This began the enmity between Star Saber and Deathsaurus, and as both combatants rose through the ranks of their respective armies, Deathsaurus vowed to eventually liberate his fortress and use it to destroy Star Saber.

After the conclusion of the Masterforce war on Earth, Deathsaurus set his sights on the planet's vast energy sources, and, from his command post on the Decepticons' starcraft the Thunder Arrow, he directed his troops, the Breastforce and Dinoforce in attacks on the planet. Deathsaurus rarely dirtied his own hands, entering battle only rarely, and only when there was a chance that he could confront Star Saber directly, such as there was when he led the Breastforce in raiding the electrical energy of American subway systems. This led him to be the object of great contempt from Breastforce sub-leader Leozack, who schemed against Deathsaurus, but systematically failed to succeed in his numerous ploys, either as a result of his own incompetence or the counter-scheming of his subordinate, Hellbat, who sought to overthrow both him and Deathsaurus. Deathsaurus was no fool, however, and remained perpetually aware of Leozack's plans - when the time came, he thrashed the Breastforcer in combat and forced him to swear utter loyalty to him.

While Star Saber was on the planet Micro, Deathsaurus returned to the Dark Nebula to investigate the possibility of reactivating his fortress; he did not have enough energy, but was at least able to confirm that the fortress was in functional order and could be reactivated when the time came. Unfortunately for him, having expended what energy he had to confirm this, he was unable to finish Star Saber when he engaged him in battle in space on the return trip. Later, back on Earth, Deathsaurus lured Star Saber into a trap in the desert, where he attacked with the power of the Living Metal-Destroying Cannon.

The weapon almost finished Star Saber off until God Ginrai intervened and was left at death's door instead, but when he was reconstructed as Victory Leo and combined with Star Saber to form Victory Saber, they were able to thwart Deathsaurus's plan to bombard Earth with asteroids.

Discovering that the sunken continent of Atlantis contained enough raw energy to re-energize his fortress, Deathsaurus ransacked the ancient ruins and abandoned the Dinosaur Force to their fate as the Thunder Arrow shot off into space to fulfil his evil plan. With the fortress active and headed directly for Earth, even Victory Saber could not stand up to its power, but a resentful Dinosaur Force supplied information on the fortress's weak spot to Star Saber's adopted human son, Jan, who used his own personal mech to enter the fortress and strike and this vulnerability. As he did so, Deathsaurus and Star Saber engaged in a vicious battle, during which Deathsaurus lost an eye, and was eventually stopped when Star Saber broke his sword off in the villain's chest. Gushing fuel and fluid, Deathsaurus vowed to have the last laugh as he set the crippled fortress on a collision course with Earth, and blew himself out an airlock, vowing to return again and again. But, as his body drifted off into space, no sign of life was visible from the conquered emperor. Victory Saber subsequently destroyed the fortress, but Deathsaurus was not heard from again.

Victory (manga)
As a parallel to Star Saber's adoption of Jan, Deathsaurus had a "son" of his own, a human boy named Solon. Solon's mother was killed during a Decepticon attack on Earth, and who Deathsaurus "adopted", turning him into a cyborg and raising him to believe that he was his son. Solon had frequent clashes with Jan, whose school he began attending, which often degenerated into "my dad can beat up your dad"-style arguments as their "fathers" battled. At one point, Deathsaurus even attempted to bribe Jan into joining the Decepticons with toys, games, candy and cash.

Solon had his own battle armour and often rode Deathsaurus's Breastars as steeds, but when Victory Leo and Star Saber merged into Victory Saber, Deathsaurus sought a way to increase his own power in a similar fashion and crafted a Transformer-sized mech for Solon named King Solon, with which he was able to combine, forming King Zaras. However, in the midst of this battle, Solon discovered the truth about his mother, and his distraction allowed Victory Saber to destroy the King Solon mecha. Deathsaurus fled, abandoning Solon, who accepted his earthly heritage and joined the Autobots.

During the final battle, as Deathsaurus's fortress attacks the Earth, it is he who battles Star Saber in space (unlike the animated series, in which Liokaiser takes this role). Leozack, then, is able to take his treachery to the ultimate extreme by turning the fortress's power on Deathsaurus, and Deathsaurus cripples the craft with his cannon as Star Saber takes Leozack down. Then, the wounded Deathsaurus reveals the true reason he has quested to liberate the fortress from the Dark Nebula - it is home to the Decepticons' families and civilians. As the shocked Autobots discover this, they meet Deathsaurus's wife, Esmeryl and Deathsaurus and Star Saber then make peace, shaking hands and vowing to work together for the betterment of the Transformer race.

Using a clone lab on Ceti Alpha Seven, Deathsaurus wished to revive the fading Decepticon Empire with a vast Insecticon army. After the first batch of clones was completed, his operation was interrupted by a team of Autobot commandos under the command of Ironhide. Deathsaurus overpowered and captured the first wave himself, and soon faced Ironhide one-on-one, while Ratchet attempted to rescue the fallen Autobots. Due to the assistance of Tripredacus Agent Flamewar, these two were defeated and captured as well.

They woke up bound inside Deathsaurus' clone lab. The Emperor of Destruction appeared on a television screen, declaring that his use for the lab was completed and was prepared to detonate it remotely with the Autobots inside. Unfortunately for Deathsaurus, the Autobot espionage agent Ricochet not only freed the Autobots before the explosion occurred, but also seeded the remaining clones with a virus, leaving Deathsaurus with nothing to show for his work.
Trivia
*Deathsaurus's name is the source of a long-lasting arguments. The phoenetic Japanese reading of the name is: "De-su-za-ra-su". This is represented in English on his toy packaging and tech specs as "Deszaras." English-speaking fans would long debate the "proper" Romanisation of the name, interpreting it as Deszaras, Deathsaurus, Death Czarus, Def Zarce, Deaths 'R' Us, Debt Source, Darth Sass, Death's Arse and god knows what else. "Deathsaurus" had a tendency to be the most popular and well-known (on account of it actually meaning something), which led to it being used on the character's first official Western toy, making it his official American name. However, it is unlikely that this was supposed to be the actual name for the character - were his name "saurus", then it would be would be rendered as "za-u-ru-su" in Japanese, rather than "za-ra-su" - and that his name was genuinely intended to be the nonsense word, "Deszaras." The character appears with the "Deszaras" name on the R2 Transformers: Victory DVD boxset.

*His japanese name (Deszaras) is spelled really close to the Hungarian phrase for "So Sh*tty". This caused a lot of joy in the Hungarian fan community.

*While often called a dragon or occasionally a griffin (or a giant chicken), Deathsaurus is most likely styled after traditional Japanese "kaiju", such as Godzilla or Rodan.

*In Dreamwave's Transformers G1 (Ongoing) #10, Deathsaurus was seen as a statue representing an ancient transformer, together with Dai Atlas. The Route of All Evil

* The original Deathsaurus mold was redecoed and retooled into the non-living "Red Geist" mech for Takara's Brave Of Legend Da Garn toyline. This version lacked the Eaglebreast partner, however.
