The 2007 [[Transformers (2007)|''Transformers'' film]] was accompanied by one of the largest product blitzes in the history of the [[Transformers brand]]. The prominence of the movie allowed [[Hasbro]] to push the toy line to new levels of complexity and diversity.

In addition to the standard "main line" figures, several sub-lines were developed. Some, such as the [[Fast Action Battler|Fast Action Battlers]] and [[Cyber Slammers]], are aimed at younger users. Others, such as [[Real Gear Robots]] and the various role play toys, expand on the plot and concepts of the movie. Furthermore, many stores received various exclusive [[redeco]]s and multi-packs. Other markets, such as Japan and even Europe, also had their own exclusives.

Virtually all characters of the movie cast received multiple toy incarnations at various price points, from the tiny $4 [[Legends Class|Legends]] versions and two-for-$5 [[Robot Heroes]] PVCs up to the massive, complex, [[Gimmick|electronic]] $80 Ultimate [[Bumblebee (Movie) toys|Bumblebee]]. Given the limited number of Transformers featured in the movie, the toyline naturally contains many additional characters. Many of these are featured in alternate movie-related media, such as prequel comics and video games.

Following the success of the movie toyline, it was expanded with the [[AllSpark Power]] and [[Premium Series]] sub-lines, while the subsequent toyline, [[Animated (toyline)|Transformers: Animated]], was officially pushed back from late 2007/early 2008 to July 2008.

The 2007 [[Transformers (2007)|''Transformers'' film]] was accompanied by one of the largest product blitzes in the history of the [[Transformers brand]]. The prominence of the movie allowed [[Hasbro]] to push the toy line to new levels of complexity and diversity.

In addition to the standard "main line" figures, several sub-lines were developed. Some, such as the [[Fast Action Battler|Fast Action Battlers]] and [[Cyber Slammers]], are aimed at younger users. Others, such as [[Real Gear Robots]] and the various role play toys, expand on the plot and concepts of the movie. Furthermore, many stores received various exclusive [[redeco]]s and multi-packs. Other markets, such as Japan and even Europe, also had their own exclusives.

Virtually all characters of the movie cast received multiple toy incarnations at various price points, from the tiny $4 [[Legends Class|Legends]] versions and two-for-$5 [[Robot Heroes]] PVCs up to the massive, complex, [[Gimmick|electronic]] $80 Ultimate [[Bumblebee (Movie) toys|Bumblebee]]. Given the limited number of Transformers featured in the movie, the toyline naturally contains many additional characters. Many of these are featured in alternate movie-related media, such as prequel comics and video games.

Following the success of the movie toyline, it was expanded with the [[AllSpark Power]] and [[Premium Series]] sub-lines, while the subsequent toyline, [[Animated (toyline)|Transformers: Animated]], was officially pushed back from late 2007/early 2008 to July 2008.

===Generation 1 cartoon===
The Female Autobots were destroyed by a missile strike during the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]]'s launch. Or so everyone thought...

Skip four million years into the future. By 1985, they have formed a resistance group on Cybertron, operating in secret. [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] discovered their continued existence (thanks to Moonracer) and tracked them back to their underground headquarters. A subsequent attempt by the [[Decepticon|Decepticons]] to capture Elita One resulted in the destruction of said headquarters, but also a reunion with the Autobots stationed on [[Earth]].

Once the Decepticons were dealt with, the Female Autobots relocated to a new secret headquarters provided by Alpha Trion and chose to remain on Cybertron to continue the fight there. {{storylink|The Search for Alpha Trion}}

===MC Axis mini-comics===
The team had taken out a humongous Decepticon and Moonracer boasted about their success, claiming that they alone could retake Cybertron. Only Elita One didn’t share in her team’s exultation as she knew they were only hiding and that the war was wearing them out.

At another time, Arcee showed off to Firestar and Moonracer how 'badass' she is by taking out a Decepticon the other two hadn’t even noticed yet. She then continued to berate them that war seemed to be too tough for females in particular. Firestar was horrified at realizing that three beautiful women were at three times as much risk. ===Dreamwave Comics continuity===

==Unnamed members==
In addition to the better known four Female Autobots, the team as it originally appeared had two more members. Both have no name,<ref>[http://groups.google.com/group/alt.toys.transformers/browse_thread/thread/5821789ca800431a/68758ddf3993e5ac Secrets of the Original Scripts, Part Five]</ref> got no lines and apart from their looks, there isn't much known about them. Within the cartoon, they seem to fulfill a more supportive/defensive role for the team, though they fight when it is required of them. They can often be seen standing or working together, so one could conclude they're friends.

She tried to board the Ark with Elita One and the others, but failed and was thought destroyed until four million years later.

She could be seen manning a series of monitors in the team's original headquarters when Chromia and co. returned from their mission. When their base had been destroyed, she and her orange colleague freed Moonracer from the debris. Sticking with the rest of the team, she did her share in the fight against the Decepticons and could again later be seen manning a series of monitors in the team's new base.

She's purple and orange, like [[Huffer (G1)|Huffer]]. And she doesn't do much, like Huffer. She's the only member of Elita One's squad that is not present in the flashback of the Ark's launch and generally has the least screentime of all Female Autobots (mostly with her back turned to the camera when she's not in the background or obscured by someone else). She also has the least consistent design of all of them.

The orange one could be seen looking at a clipboard in the team's original headquarters when Chromia and co. returned from their mission. When their base had been destroyed, she and her green colleague freed Moonracer from the debris. Along with the rest of the team, she did her share in the fight against the Decepticons and could later be seen manning a series of monitors all he way in the back of the team's new base.
