The Warworld is a vast, spherical Decepticon battle cruiser created by Bludgeon. It is heavily armed and has a large bridge window covering most of its front side.
Marvel Comics continuity
Bludgeon's purpose for creating the Warworld was as a ship for stealing energy and other resources throughout space (including those from the Jabbi-Ko, Karkan, and Szorian races). It was originally his flagship and host to his army of Decepticon clones.

When Megatron battled and destroyed Bludgeon, he took command of the crew and ship. The Gathering Darkness The Warworld was involved in many Autobot conflicts.

Starscream stole the Matrix and used its power to combine himself with the Warworld. He reshaped its interior, battled Jhiaxus's troops, and tortured Megatron and Optimus Prime. Dark Shadows! But the Matrix's essence started to turn him from his evil ways. Starscream was so scared of becoming good that he did not put up any resistance when Optimus Prime and Megatron took the Matrix away from him. A Rage in Heaven!

Fleetway Editions continuity
The Warworld serves as the Decepticon mothership, established in issue 1. Its design was based on the Derek Yaniger model seen in the earlier Marvel Comics' G2 series; the Warworld artwork by Yaniger & Sarra Mossoff would be reprinted in issue 4. The massive ship was also used as the basis for a dice & card board game (of a fashion) called "Robots in Disguise Giant Battle Game", which was featured across two pages in issue 2; the object of the game was to aide either the Autobots or Decepticons in capturing the heart of the Warworld. Kev F. Sutherland's rendering of the usually round vessel was highly angular and its customary colour scheme was somewhat altered.

Japanese Generation 2
When the recently departed Ultra Magnus became aware of a massive fleet of mobile warships Galvatron II was building, he used the Reconfiguration Matrix to resurrect himself in a new body.

Derek Yaniger is an American artist who worked for Marvel in the 1990s, penciling such titles as Hellraiser and Web of Spider-Man as well as Transformers: Generation 2.

Yaniger has also done illustration work for Cartoon Network. Today he does freelance magazine work, and sells original artwork heavily influenced by the illustration styles and Tiki culture of the 1950s. A book of his Tiki-styled work was compiled and published in 2008.

Yaniger lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and, judging by the linguistic style of his web site, would probably get along well with the Hot Rod Patrol.

In 1993, Yaniger was tapped as the lead artist of the initial Generation 2 comic series. To help distinguish this sequel-series from its predecessor, he established a distinctive visual style for the book marked by extremely large guns, extra weapons strapped to characters, heavy battle damage with smoke and mech fluid oozing from them, highly stylized character designs, and inconsistent proportions that'd likely make Pat Lee proud.

By issue 2, as Yaniger failed to meet deadlines, cartoony artist Manny Galan and classic TF artists Andrew Wildman & Geoff Senior were brought in to assist him with the work. Upon issue 3, he was replaced by Manny Galan who struggled to emulate Yaniger's gritty, angular style. Yaniger instead penciled the series' shorter secondary stories, although the fact that Galan penciled entire issues at times would suggest that Yaniger still had problems keeping up. By issue 10, he was replaced as auxiliary artist with Geoff Senior. Yaniger also provided cover illustrations for the comic's entire run, with the exception of issue 0.
Derek Yaniger's artwork for Marvel Comics' Generation 2 series was subsequently reprinted in the British Transformers G2 comic series by Fleetway Editions, as detailed:

To preview the following series issue, issue 2 featured a slightly enhanced miniature reproduction of the cover to Transformers: Generation 2 #4 by Yaniger & Sarra Mossoff; the original lineart for this was then used as the cover to issue 3, though his signature was cut off. (Fleetway's issue 3 cover was featured as a miniature reproduction on the editorial page of issue 4.)

Again, to preview the next series issue, issue 3 featured a miniature reproduction of the cover to Transformers: Generation 2 #5 by Yaniger & Sarra Mossoff; the original lineart for this was then used as the cover to issue 4, though his signature was cut off. (Fleetway's issue 4 cover was featured as a miniature reproduction on the editorial page of issue 5.) The artwork that Yaniger & Mossoff did for the substory "Tales of Earth pt.1" which was originally presented in [[Devices and Desires!
*Another homage to his Generation 2 style came with the Botcon 2008 Shattered Expectations spoof comic, which was released online as an April Fools' Day prank.

{{note|The general look of the Warworld tended to change as the series progressed. In-fiction, this could be the result of its nature as a continuously-growing patchwork of stolen alien technology. The Warworld served as Bludgeon's Decepticon flagship from issue 1. Its design was based on the Derek Yaniger model as seen in the earlier Marvel Comics' G2 series; Yaniger's Warworld art would be reprinted in issues 4.

Generation 2

Yaniger also provided cover illustrations for the comic's entire run.
