This article calls the Ground crawlers and Swarms organic. They don't seem organic to me. The ground crawlers just seem like smaller [[Space slug]]s (they can even make force fields) which are definately mechanical life and I don't see anything in-game about the swarm that doesn't suggest mechanical life as well. ::DS graphics ''are'' primitive, but they don't look particularly organic to me. They're both pixelly enough to be either. The Swarm could be little insecticons like in RotF as esily as anything, as they're really just a couple of triangular polygons each. But we know there IS mechanical "animal" life on WfC Cybertron. Given that the ground crawlers look just like little little Space slugs which are definately mechanical and they have mechanical-abillities (force fields) if there isn't any evidence that they AREN'T native mechanical life I think we need to assume they are.
