Note: there is no proper English translation of Violen Jygar's name, as no Zone media has ever been officially released in the West. Violen Jygar's first act was to gather 9 Demon-Generals from Decepticon history; Bruticus, Predaking, Abominus, Menasor, King Poseidon, Devastator, Black Zarak, Trypticon and Overlord. He ordered his Decepticon Generals to lay waste to Planet Feminia, completely destroying the world and nearly killing Victory Saber in the process. He then ordered his Generals attack the Autobot headquarters on Planet Zone and steal their Energon Z, a powerful new energy-source. Following that, his greatest ambition was to obtain the Zodiac, a primordial orb which supposedly birthed all life in the known universe.
Violen Jygar was eventually destroyed in battle by the combined form of Dai Atlas, Sonic Bomber and Road Fire; Big Powered.
To call Backblast a single-minded engine of destruction would be giving him too much credit in the brains department. Sharp as a bowl of wet glitch-mice, he is the muscle of the Deep Space Mini-Con Team, pointed in the right direction and told "go for it".
From that point on, his partners Blastcharge and Scrap Iron go off to do the more precise work, coming back to tell Blastcharge it's time to stop fighting, because he won't stop until he's told.
The only thing he loves more than blasting Decepticons is charging full throttle, tearing up the roads. Override loves shifting into his powerful "Override Gear," joining battle at frightening speeds, Triggerbot guns blazing full volume (hopefully they hit something), with apparently no concern for his own well being. But this is not true. Annoyingly vain, Override can spiral into depression at the mere sight of a scratch on his chassis. It's probably the only time he quiets down.

Muffler? What's that?

Fiction
Marvel Comics continuity
Millions of years ago, Override was one of the Autobots under the command of a young, inexperienced Optimus Prime, then a junior officer. Leading them into neutral territory to meet with a wise Transformer known as Boltax, they encountered several booby traps along the way. Override in particular was helpful in deactivating the mercury minefield which threatened to boil them. When they reached the Temple of Knowledge, Override and the other Autobots were instructed to wait outside while Optimus Prime communed with Boltax.

Years later, in the present day, Override, the other Triggerbots, and the Sparkabots were imprisoned by the Decepticons. Three of their number were taken by the Decepticons to Earth, but Override was left behind.

During the Matrix Quest, the Triggerbots were sent to the planet Cheyne. They stayed with a family of Vrobians who were persecuted by the local law enforcement, but over a period of time, Override and the others forgot their original mission, their past, and perhaps even their names! Fortunately, Dogfight discovered that the Vrobians were psychic vampires, putting the Autobots under their mental control. The Triggerbots rebelled, killed the family, and left Cheyne when no leads on the Matrix's location were uncovered.

When G. I. Joe sent word to Optimus Prime that Cobra had rebuilt Megatron, he sent a group of Autobots that included Override to fight him. After several of them were destroyed, Override's job was to distract Megatron while Skydive was loaded into the Ark. He succeeded, but Megatron tore him apart and Override presumably died.
He takes great pleasure in tormenting the Maximals and lets them know at every opportunity how much better than them he is. He has a nasty temper that is barely hidden behind a thin veneer of cool indifference, and it really doesn't take much to set him off. Like that Blackarachnia chick, what's she staring at?

Despite his smarm, bravado and temper, Jetstorm knows when to cut his losses and run for it. He may have a whole load of personality flaws (and a load of aero-drones to back him up), but he's not stupid. Despite early rivalries, he has also developed a comraderie with Thrust, even though the idea of being friends with anyone initially came as something of a shock.
Like the Deluxe version, he transforms into a Cybertronic fighter jet, but in this incarnation the jet mode looks far more like the Mainframe CGI model, even if the robot mode bears only a slightly stronger resemblance. His jet mode cockpit/neck is geared up with the pop-up gun turret on his back so that both turn in the same direction when moved. This turret has a light-up feature plus two spring-loaded missiles.
Landmine is a fighter. He lives by a soldier's code and thrives on honor and loyalty to his comrades and commanders. Unlike his brother Landquake, he thoroughly enjoys the life of a warrior. Landmine's rough around the edges and a little old-fashioned, but he's got a warm heart under that gruff exterior. Since he's so old, he bruises easily, but after some mechanical tinkering from Red Alert or Coby, he's always back up on his feet, anxious to re-enter the battle swingin'.

In his millennia of existence, he has trained a number of warriors, including Mudflap and Optimus Prime.

Japanese name: Guardshell (Cybertron)

Fiction
Animated continuity
Energon
When Rodimus left Cybertron eons ago, Landmine was one of the Transformers who chose to go with him. Serving as a traffic guard until the war escalated, Landmine boarded Rodimus' vessel along with his co-worker and partner, Prowl, a patrol officer. Landmine would become Rodimus' right-hand soldier and his personal bodyguard.

Landmine returned to Cybertron during the Powerlinx Battles to assist Rodimus in reviving Unicron and the Planet Q system. Although Landmine served his commander without question, he was sometimes unsure of their ultimate agenda. Landmine joined Team Optimus when Rodimus surrendered his leadership to Prime. Landmine is one of the oldest Autobots currently serving the armed forces of Cybertron.

Cybertron
Now under the command of Optimus Prime, Landmine opened up more to his new friends. No longer a stranger to Optimus Prime's men, he became a soldier and a mentor to the others due to his wisdom and experience. When the Unicron Singularity threatened Cybertron, Landmine was quick to aid his commander in trying to solve this enormous problem. During the evacuation of Cybertron, Landmine was attacked by Starscream and was nearly flung into the black hole, only to be saved by a warp-gate from Vector Prime's sword.

Landmine ended up crashing on Earth. Injured in the crash, Landmine would be found by Coby, Bud and Lori. After being patched up by Coby, Landmine took quite some time to recover, but remained eager to get back at Starscream.

spoiler
Landmine would ultimately get that chance when he tapped into Gigantion's Cyber Planet Key and grew to a gigantic size, he was able to finaly defeat Starscream before returning to his normal stature.
Terrorsaur is a Predacon in the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity

Power hungry and opportunistic, Terrorsaur never misses a chance to improve his standing within the Predacons. From cutting deals with Maximals to finding and keeping new power sources to himself, Terrorsaur is always thinking two steps ahead. Unfortunately, the big guns of the Beast Wars are usually thinking at least four steps ahead, and Terrorsaur always ends up on the short end.

Fiction
Beast Wars
Voice Actor: Doug Parker (US) ??? (Japan)

One of the original members of Megatron's crew that stole the Golden Disk, Terrorsaur usually teamed up with Waspinator to act as the Predacon's air power. Throughout the Beast Wars Terrorsaur turned on Megatron at the drop of a hat, and was willing to team up with anyone who suggested doing so. In "Equal Measures" it was Dinobot, in "Double Jeopardy" it was Rattrap, and in "Dark Designs" it was an evil Rhinox.

His shining moment came during the episode "Power Surge". Terrorsaur discovered a floating mountain with a stable cache of energon that super charged his frame and allowed him to easily depose Megatron. However, the power boost was brief in duration, and the Maximals were able to destroy the floating mountain before Terrorsaur could implement any of his grand designs. Even worse, none of the Predacons followed his lead and they brought Megatron back online while he was fighting the Maximals.

Eventually, after being beaten back into line after each attempted takeover, Terrorsaur seemed to resign himself to his station... or, at least, decided to bide his time.

Terrorsaur's Beast Wars adventure came to an end when he was knocked into a lava pool by the quantum surge that resulted from the Planet Buster's destruction. His hand was briefly seen glowing, indicating that Terrorsaur was going through transmetalization. This was probably included as a "Trap Door" so the writers could resurrect Terrorsaur or Scorponok if they needed them later. They didn't, which sucks for Terrorsaur.

Beast Wars Metals Manga
Beast Wars Playstation Game
Terrorsaur flew rescue missions, using his flight capabilities to rescue captured Predacons from the Maximals' prison ships.

3H Universe Comics
Terrorsaur (or an alternate-universe incarnation of him) was one of the many Cybertrons kidnapped from his timestream by agents of Unicron and held in the Cauldron. Terrorsaur escaped and (presumably) returned to his timestream thanks to the efforts of Trailbreaker and Silverbolt.
: Japanese ID number: D-05
: Part of the first wave of Beats Wars toys, Terrorsaur transforms from an organic pteranadon to robot mode with a spring-loaded one-step transformation. In Japan, there are two different versions of this toy: one nearly identical to the Hasbro version, another with a more show-like colroation, lacking the green spots and purple paint, adding yellow to his beak and lightening the black plastic to gray.

: This mold was later used for Fractyl, Hydra, Lazorbeak and Dinobots Terrantoron.

*Terrorsaur (Deluxe Transmetal)
: Japanese ID number: D-43
: Transmetal Terrorsaur transforms into a robotic pteranodon. He has a third "vehicle" mode; reconfiguring his wings and revealing VTOL fans, plus his tail section splits open to reveal twin thruster engines. In robot mode, his wing-tips detach to form blade weapons.

: This mold was later redecoed and slightly retooled to make Beast Machines Terranotron, and then redecoed and retooled differently to make Armada Terrorsaur. The mold was also the base model for the non-toy character Ravenus.

Merchandise
A Kabaya "candy toy" version of Terrorsaur was made available in Japan. Since he was gang molded with the other three toys in the assortment, this unpainted plastic kit was mainly peach and yellow.

Megatron is a Predacon and a Vehicon in the Beast Era portion of Generation 1 continuity.

Megatron has one goal -- restoring glory and power to the Predacon race, with himself at the helm. What distinguishes Megatron from the countless others who share this goal at various volumes is his chutzpah. He is willing to risk everything -- time, space, himself -- if need be.

Megatron is skillful at orchestrating vast schemes by manipulating others into doing them for him -- an idle suggestion here, a conspicuously-planted object of interest there. He knows his enemies inside and out and exactly how to provoke them. He has no friends, only pawns. Because of this attitude, this superiority complex, he despises working with the very troops he needs to carry out his plans. His hubris does not make him very popular, and so he must rely on power and fear to rule them.

Megatron is a gambler and can sometimes be a ham. (His manner of saying "Yesss..." is practically vaudevillian.) He has a twisted sense of humor and an over-developed sense of drama which rule everything he conceives, both long and short term. When he destroys you, he wants you to know that it was he who did this, and just how badly you were had. This is his greatest weakness. Like a Bond villain, he'll gladly boast to the hero at length about how smart and clever he was, giving his victim time to formulate a counterattack. He often sabotages himself by neglecting the quick and easy solutions for the bigger, meaner, and more complex.

Note: the Japanese dub of Beast Wars chose to interject humor at every available opportunity. Due to this, Megatron's personality and character were taken on a complete U-turn. Instead of being a smooth and charismatic leader, he was a screaming maniac and a bumbling oaf. His most notable character-trait in Japan was that whenever he was fired-upon or startled he would let-out a high-pitched shriek like a little girl.
He subsequently adopted the name "Megatron" for himself. (Note: Possibly of negligible canon. We know Megatron had taken his name earlier than the theft, and Megatron even steals the wrong disk.)
Although Megatron kicked Magmatron's ass, he was ambushed and paralyzed by Iguanus and Drill Bit. Magmatron intended to use a transwarp shunt to transport his prisoner back to Cybertron, the intervention of Grimlock, Optimus Minor, and Razorbeast, Magmatron was sent home empty-handed. Razorbeast was tempted to dispatch the prone Megatron, but released him instead, due to his desire to avoid interfering with the timeline.

Megatron is presented in the Beast Wars Metals manga precisely as he was in the Japanese dub of the television series (a bumbling oaf), constantly leading the Predacons against the forces of the Maximals.
