'''Wasp''' is a lot like [[Bumblebee (Animated)|Bumblebee]]...physically, at least. Built from the same chassis and sharing many of the same specifications and subroutines, the two Autobots attended boot camp together. Wasp's pompous, smarmy personality leaves something to be desired, but he had a lot going for him as a soldier, being highly skilled in the use of his stingers and knowing just how to toe the line with the drill sergeant. In a better life, he might have been [[Cybertron Elite Guard]] commander material.

These days, though, Wasp is a broken bot, mentally unstable and on the run from the Autobots who have branded him a traitor. What little remains of his mind is focused on just one goal...destroying Bumblebee, the bot who ruined his life!

Wasp was a cadet in the same group as Bumblebee, [[Bulkhead (Animated)|Bulkhead]], [[Ironhide (Animated)|Ironhide]] and [[Shockwave (Animated)|Longarm]]. Right away, Wasp took a dislike to Bumblebee, insulting him out of the blue as the yellow bot mused to himself about his future in the Elite Guard. He also dubbed Bulkhead a "[[Mudflap (slang)|mudflap]]", much to the amusement of his fellow cadets. The loud-mouthed drill sergeant [[Sentinel Prime (Animated)|Sentinel Minor]] took an immediate liking to "Wasp", as he dubbed him. Wasp and Ironhide quickly became close friends, often competing in little tests of strength, usually involving Wasp hitting or stinging Ironhide while the latter was in armor mode.

After Bumblebee "bumbled" several times, leading to many [[transform-up]]s for the whole group, Wasp and Ironhide decided to take matters into their own hands, unscrewing Bumblebee's lower legs and leaving them out of reach even before they dumped the rest of him in a locker.

Unbeknownst to Wasp, however, the reason for Bumblebee's foul-ups was that he was trying to out a traitor in the group—and had pegged Wasp as the likely culprit after seeing him walk out of a hangar in which someone had contacted [[Megatron (Animated)|Megatron]]. (Plus, let's face it, he was a complete jerk. And Decepticons are jerks, right?) At Longarm's prompting, Bumblebee eventually found evidence incriminating Wasp as a spy. Wasp was stripped of his Autobot insignia and wheeled away, protesting his innocence and swearing revenge on Bumblebee.

Many years later, Wasp escaped from Autobot custody and apparently eluded the now-Sentinel Prime by jumping through a [[space bridge]]. What was left of Wasp hid beneath the bridge as Sentinel left, [[Waspinator (BW)|buzzing and twittering to himself]], still swearing revenge on "Bumblebot". In reality, however, the innocent bot—broken mentally by his years of imprisonment—had been set up with evidence planted by "Longarm", who had also arranged Wasp's "escape" to divert suspicion from himself. {{storylink|Autoboot Camp|Autoboot Camp}}

Needless to say, when the truth was revealed to Bumblebee by his old "friend", Longarm Prime (aka the Decepticon Shockwave), he took it pretty hard. {{storylink|A Bridge Too Close, Part II|A Bridge Too Close, Part II}}

Wasp headed straight for the Autobots' base on Earth, with Sentinel Prime and [[Jazz (Animated)|Jazz]] in pursuit. Waiting until Bumblebee was left alone on monitor duty (and actually playing ''[[Ninja Gladiator]]'' instead), he struck during a power outage, knocking Bumbleebee cold and switching color schemes, helmets and even speech synthesizers with his rival. When Bumblebee came to, the others had returned and had him prisoner, with the disguised Wasp at their side. Despite Bumblebee's muffled cries, the Autobots fell for Wasp's ruse, forcing Bumblebee to flee into the night. Wasp stayed behind as the others tracked Bumblebee down, allowing him to try beating Bumblebee's video game and to search through Bumblebee's personal files.

When the others returned, joined by Sentinel, Jazz, [[Jetfire (Animated)|Jetfire]] and [[Jetstorm (Animated)|Jetstorm]], Wasp was able to recount several of Bumblebee's adventures which were logged in his files to keep the Autobots confused as to which bot was which. Unfortunately for Wasp, [[Bulkhead (Animated)|Bulkhead]] proposed the two battle against each other in in ''Ninja Gladiator'', so that Bumblebee's video game skills would be readily apparent and the traitor revealed. Before their video game could begin, Wasp panicked and attacked Bumblebee, holding him hostage so he could make his escape. Wasp left Bumblebee with one final indignity, turning off the [[electronic paintjob]] he'd installed in Bee and stealing his helmet back...tricking Bulkhead into pummeling the real Bumblebee while Wasp fled. {{storylink|Where Is Thy Sting?}}

The Autobots continued to pursue an erratic Wasp, though for different reasons: Sentinel Prime was still commanding the Elite Guard to bring him in on suspicion of treason, while Optimus and Bumblebee just wanted to help him (or at least keep him from damaging himself and bystanders during his crazed flight). In the midst of a pursuit through the streets of Detroit, Bumblebee tried once again to convince Wasp that he was now known to be innocent and was set up by Longarm, but Wasp refused to listen. During the chase, Wasp was suddenly abducted by [[Swoop (Animated)|Swoop]], who carried him to [[Dinobot Island (Animated)|Dinobot Island]].

Wasp soon found himself in [[Meltdown (Animated)|Meltdown]]'s old underground lab going ga-ga over [[Blackarachnia (Animated)|Blackarachnia]]. The spiderbot used her feminine wiles and familiar-sounding sob stories of Autobot betrayal to win Wasp's trust, and she convinced him to undergo an organic power augmentation procedure by impressing him with the ferocity of her own beast mode (while shielding him from seeing the disfigured mutant corpses left behind from her prior experiments). Wasp entered one [[transwarp]] chamber, a real organic wasp was put into another, and out came... Waspinator, three times larger than before, with energy "stings" and a heavily processed voice.

When he was finally tracked down by Bumblebee, who apologized to him, he decided that while "Wasp" forgave his former accuser, "Waspinator" preferred violent revenge. But before Waspinator could deliver the final blow, he overheard Blackarachnia admitting to the Autobots that she only viewed her new "friend" as another experimental attempt to cure her own organic infection. Irate at yet another betrayal, Waspinator started attacking everybody—and if that wasn't scary enough, his transwarp energy became unstable. Just as Waspinator reached critical mass, Blackarachnia sealed them both within a cocoon of her energy webbing, containing the explosion of tranwarp energy.

While only a crater was left on Dinobot Island, Waspinator and Blackarachnia were teleported by the transwarp energy to an unknown jungle. Although reduced to pieces by the explosion, Waspinator was still functional, and slowly began putting himself back together. Should anybody even so much as touch them he erupts in a chaotic fury, obliterating the opposition. Elphaorpha is the smartest of all the Blentrons and constructs their battle plans and calls out the orders during a fight. He is possibly the most powerful Blentron and easily the most feared.

After the destruction of Unicron during the climax of ''[[The Transformers: The Movie (1986)|The Transformers: The Movie]]'', his lifeforce raced through time and space where it riddled itself into the planet [[Gaia]] and became known as [[Angolmois]] energy. After a botched attempt by [[Galvatron (BWII)|Galvatron]] to steal all the Angolmois, the energy was sealed into capsules and scattered across the galaxy.

Big Convoy, leader of the [[Maximal]] new recruits, and Magmatron, the [[Predacon]] [[Emperor of Destruction]], raced across the galaxy collecting the Angolmois capsules. Eventually, after numerous rascally hijinks, the two factions recovered all the capsules.

Then the Blentrons came out of nowhere and beat the ever living CRUD out of both teams and stole the capsules. The Blentrons, absurdly powerful and able to bend time and space at their leisure, had no trouble stealing all the capsules and trapping the Maximals and Magmatron in a wormhole, leaving the Predacons to bicker over leadership.

As it turns out, the Blentrons were created by Unicron. Loyal to their God, they released all the Angolmois into the corpse of Galvatron, reviving Unicron. Unicron then absorbed the last remaining bit of loose Angolmois; the Blentrons themselves. That's gratitude for ya!

==Notes/Trivia==

The Blentrons are heavily influenced by Lovecraftian mythology. They are a cult of grotesque freaks of nature who are capable of bending reality-itself and are determined to resurrect a primordial God. Read "the Call of Cthulhu" one of these days; you'll catch the similarities.

The '''Terrorcons''' of the Energon Battles were a class of compact but deadly mass-produced [[Decepticon]]s. Though some had surprisingly high intelligence, which would suggest some capacity for autonomy, they were usually considered expendable drones by Decepticon and [[Autobot]] alike. Terrorcons had an unusual ability, shared with the [[Omnicon]]s, to handle and process raw [[Energon]]. Terrorcon altmodes generally take the form of robotic beasts. these are their types:
Scorponok- scorpion type. only one exists.
Battle Ravage- puma type.
Divebomb- hawk type.
Cruellock- Zilla type.
Insecticon- bug type.

During the fight to save [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] from the [[Unicron Singularity]], a new type of Terrorcon would appear in the [[Scrapmetal drone]]s.

'''Cliffjumper''' hates traitors. And anybody could be a traitor. Therefore, Cliffjumper hates everybody. It's unclear if he hates traitors more than he hates [[Decepticon]]s, but it's at least a neck-and-neck thing.

He makes a habit of pulling ridiculously huge guns from nowhere and attacking impulsively despite orders or sanity. Somehow, this gets him neither killed nor demoted.

Cliffjumper's special weapon is his "glass gas", which embrittles metals on contact so that they shatter like glass. He is not immune to its effects, so its use requires careful consideration of wind direction. Actually, this may explain why he prefers the big guns. He doesn't seem like the calculating type.

In vehicle mode, Cliffjumper is one of the fastest ground-vehicle Autobots, if not absolutely the fastest.

Cliffjumper was a part of the crew onboard the [[Ark]] when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago while clearing an asteroid field in the path of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron.]] He was deactivated for a while during [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]]'s occupation of the Ark, but was repaired without incident when [[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]] reclaimed it.

However, the head of [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] was still missing, and during an attempt to retrieve it, an imposter head took control of Prime's body, firing on Cliffjumper. ''Presumably repaired, he later participated in the Dinobot Hunt, along with [[Gears]] and [[Windcharger (G1)|Windcharger]]. Although they found [[Sludge (G1)|Sludge]], immediately thereafter all three were captured by the Decepticons. They were rescued by [[Bumblebee]].''

He was one of the observers to [[Blaster]] and [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]]'s battle on the moon. How he fared in the following [[Decepticon]] attack is unknown, but he's never seen again.

Cliffjumper was a part of the crew onboard the [[Ark]] when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago during a search for new energy sources. His alt-mode was reformatted into an oddly proportioned Porsche 924.

When the Autobots awakened from their four million-year slumber, Cliffjumper was eager for action. He volunteered to tag along on [[Hound]]'s recon mission to scout out Decepticons because he was itching to "boot some Decepticon right in his turbocharger." Though [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]]'s orders were only to find the Decepticons, Cliffjumper brashly tried to engage the enemy once Hound sniffed them out.

Cliffjumper missed his shot, and the Decepticons dispatched [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] to chase off the Autobot eavesdroppers. Hound got pasted by Laserbeak's laser blasts, requiring extensive repair from Autobot medic, [[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]]. though Cliffjumper was remorseful for having acted without thinking, Hound didn't hold a grudge.

In "the Great Car Rally", a bunch of humans set up a race for charity. The victor would received a year's supply of oil and gasoline. Well, the Decepticons desperately wanted that bounty, so rather than just steal it, they decided to sneak into the race. Cliffjumper was one of the Autobots driving in the rally and was unaware that the scary black cadillac was actually being driven by Megatron. Megatron dogged Cliffjumper for quite a while but ended up losing to the Minibot. Cliffjumper won the race and everybody smiled, even Optimus Prime.

Ratchet decided that rather than moping, he should concern himself with the other damaged Autobots under his care, so he headed towards a junkyard to look for spare parts he could use. However, he was abducted in vehicle mode by the [[Mechanic]] and his accomplice [[Juan]], when the two thieves were found by the police. Ratchet revealed himself when they arrived at the Mechanic's hideout, but the Mechanic froze Ratchet with his own surgical weapons and headed for the Ark, intent on finding technology that would ensure he would never be threatened by the police again. When he had unfrozen, Ratchet followed the human back to the Ark, but was defeated by his own surgical tools. But using pieces he took from the junkyard, he repaired [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl]], and the appearance of the police car frightened the Mechanic away. A probe was sent to retrieve him, and it succeeded -- but it also brought back Megatron, who was fused with Ratchet as a single, monstrous being. The Ratchet/Megatron creature rampaged through the Ark, wounding several Autobots, but Optimus Prime would not let them harm it.<ref>[[The Price of Life]], Marvel US#70</ref> This put Optimus Prime in an awkward position -- was the life of Ratchet worth the possible loss of his other troops? Bonded at a molecular level, neither could survive without the other, even when separated. However, the ''[[Ark II]]'', which was meant to convey the Autobots, the captured Decepticons, and a number of humans back to Cybertron was sabotaged by General [[Robert Hallo]], sending Ratchet and his comrades to the bottom of the [[Arctic Ocean]]. Years later, Ratchet was recovered by the sinister [[Lazarus]], who had recovered and reprogrammed a number of Transformers for his nefarious ends. However, when [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] broke free of Lazarus' control, he hooked Ratchet and a number of other Autobots up to a device that generated a deadly 'metal virus'. As the Autobots overwhelmed their foes, [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] arrived on the planet and gave them an ultimatum; surrender and return to a newly-unified Cybertron, or be destroyed. The Autobots returned to the Ark, where Optimus Prime assigned Ratchet to a [[Jazz (G1)|Jazz]]-led team that was to remain on Earth. In an alternate timeline, a newly-formed [[human]] terrorist organization named [[Cobra]] uncovered the Ark buried in a dormant volcano. Finding two armies of giant transformable robots, they repurposed these aliens for their own use, rebuilding them so they could reconfigure into various Cobra-designed vehicles. Ratchet was reprogrammed and rebuilt into a Cobra HISS tank. [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] was able to break free from his reprogramming and awaken the other Transformers and, with the help of the human anti-terrorist task-force [[G.I.Joe]], defeated Megatron and Cobra. An alliance between the Autobots and the United States government was formed.

A malfuction in [[Teletran-3]] sent dozens of Transformers into various points in history, an act which, if unreversed, will result in a perpetual holocaust to be unleashed across [[Earth]]. To retrieve one Transformer and bring him home, a team of Cobra and G.I. Joe agents were sent 15 years into an apocalyptic future where [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] and his Decepticons rule. The remaining cyborged humans had formed a resistance which had only one lone Autobot warrior who stood between them and utter annihilation. The last Autobot alive, Ratchet had grown bitter and battlehardened after years of guerilla warfare, and demanded the team sent to bring him back to the present day help him complete one more mission. Ratchet, the Joes, and the Cobra agents were successful in freeing a factory nearby was manned by enslaved humans, but Ratchet refused to go home with them and abandon his calling. [[Barbeque]] returned Ratchet home against his wishes, and as Ratchet cursed the stupid little creature, the [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] of the present day shot Ratchet in the back, putting him out of commission.

Later, when [[Serpent O.R.]] takes Optimus Prime prisoner, Ratchet (still in his post-apocalyptic body) is part of [[Hot Rod (G1)|Hot Rod]]'s rescue team.

Although too late to save that human, he encountered two more - [[Verity Carlo]] and [[Hunter O'Nion]] - who had stumbled upon the Decepticon plot<ref>[[Infiltration, Part 0]]</ref>. Ratchet broke cover to save their lives, subjecting him to the wrath of [[Prowl (G1)|Prowl]], who threatened disciplinary action.<ref>[[Infiltration, Part 3]]</ref>

Ratchet was seemingly alone in his convinctions, until [[Bumblebee (G1)|Bumblebee]] agreed to help him and the humans investigate an abandoned Decepticon bunker in [[Nebraska]]. [[Blitzwing (G1)|Blitzwing]] and [[Skywarp (G1)|Skywarp]] arrived while the humans were reconnoitering and began an aerial bombardment of the bunker, intending to destroy it. Bumblebee and Ratchet engaged the Decepticons in order to buy the humans time to escape the collapsing bunker<ref>[[Infiltration, Part 4]]</ref>.

The Autobots and humans were leaving the Decepticons to finish their work when an enraged [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] burst from the buried ruins of the bunker. Years after the Decepticon and Autobot Wars have ended, Ratchet and five other Autobots were sent to [[Ceti Alpha Seven]] to destroy [[Deathsaurus|General Deathsaurus]]' Insecticon clone lab and stop his planned Decepticon uprising. After a team of four (consisting of [[Outback|Fallback]], [[Chromia]], [[Flareup]], and [[Ricochet (Timelines)|Ricochet]]) failed, Ratchet and [[Ironhide (G1)|Ironhide]] followed to help. After battling swarms of [[Virulent Clones]] and [[Buzzclaw (Timelines)|Buzzclaw]], they finally met up with Deathsaurus himself. Ironhide stayed to fight the general, and Ratchet separated to find their fallen friends.

Ratchet managed to gather the fallen but was captured by Deathsaurus along with Ironhide. Both were restrained inside the lab, which was set to detonate. Before this happened, Ricochet snuck in and freed them, allowing them to gather the wounded and escape as the clone lab was destroyed.

The toy transformed from an ambulance to a robot and gun-station. A variant of the toy included red crosses on the top and sides of the vehicle. Ratchet and his [[retool]]/[[redeco]] buddy [[Ironhide (G1)|Ironhide]], like all Diaclones, were designed to be piloted mecha, which is why he has a seat instead of a head. Like all Junkions, Wreck-Gar's speech is a hodge-podge mish-mash of phrases taken from Earth broadcasting, especially television, which has become the focal point of Junkion culture. He is generally suspicious of strangers, but once he considers you a friend, he's a steadfast and selfless individual. He oversees his people's daily activities of "sorting" through their planet's collection of scrap, though what basis they use to sort the material has yet to be identified. He seems to have some sort of relationship with a Junkion lady named [[Nancy]].

In battle, Wreck-Gar is easy to knock down, but near-impossible to ''keep'' down, thanks to the very unique physiology of the Junkions. At first Wreck-Gar views the Autobots as thieves and enemies. Attacking without warning after [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]]' 'death', Wreck-Gar and his fellow Junkions soon learn that they were wrong. Wreck-Gar fights [[Springer]] for a while, before being taken down by Daniel Witwicky, with a steel bar to the back of the head.

Following their defeat and the arrival of [[Hot Rod]], [[Kup]], [[Wheelie]] and the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]]--and subsequent pacification with the [[Universal Greeting]], Wreck-Gar has the Junkions rebuild Ultra Magnus, and dance with the Autobots to [["Weird Al" Yankovic]] until they decide maybe they should protect Cybertron from [[Unicron]] after all.

After boogying down for an unspecified amount of time, the Junkions reveal their rather cruddy-looking ship to the Autobots and prepare to destroy Unicron, kill the Grand Poobah, and remove even the toughest stains.

Against Unicron, Wreck-Gar doesn't inflict much damage, really. Revealing the Junkions as mostly bluster, they fly around annoying Unicron until the ship is crushed by Unicron's hand.

Wreck-Gar survived as did [[Perceptor]], appearing with the rest of Rodimus Prime's Autobot team. He took over from Ratchet as the team's main surgeon, after these events.

Wreck-Gar is impressed by Blurr's powerful engine... and decides he wants it! He attacks the Autobots with a horde of Junkions, intent on hacking the still-sputtering engine from Blurr's body, and fights [[Springer]] in the process.

The misunderstanding comes to an end when [[Kup]], an old hand at negotiating with natives, locates their missing shuttle and instead engages the Junkions in a barter session, trading weapons and energon. The Junkions wave as their new friends depart with all their parts intact.

When the [[Recyclon]]s arrived on Junk, intending to convert the planet into energon for their overseers the [[Harvest Lords of Sigrath]], Wreck-Gar apprached the leader [[Salvage (G1)|Salvage]], and got two blaster bolts in the chest. After a near-instantaneous repair job, Wreck-Gar called out his fellows and swarmed the Recyclons, severely damaging them and forcing them to retreat to their ship the ''[[Reclamation]]'' and lift off.

Salvage returned to the planet's surface, leaving the ''Reclamation'' in orbit, in order to make peace with Wreck-Gar. But it was all a ruse; Salavge slapped a device on Wreck-Gar, a more powerful version of the Junkion leader's own decelerator laser, preventing him from attacking or calling his people while the orbiting Recyclons fired a beam from the [[Prime Processing Unit]] to convert the planet to energon from space. However, Wreck-Gar proved even stronger than Salvage expected, and he called the Junkions to fire a tractor beam at the ''Reclamation'', sending it crashing into Junk seconds before the Prime Processing Unit activated, causing the ship to explode. Salvage himself lived only a few seconds more than his fellows, as the Junkions closed in on him immediately afterwards.

In 2005, after being mortally wounded in battle with [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], Decepticon Emperor of Destruction, [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], was left to float aimlessly through space. He was summoned by [[Unicron|Unicron]], who offered him a new body and new troops to command, so long as he destroyed the Autobot [[Matrix]] of Leadership. Megatron reluctantly accepted and was upgraded into '''Galvatron''', a more fearsome and powerful warrior.

Galvatron quickly retook command of the Decepticons after killing the traitorous [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] in the middle of his coronation. He then went to Earth and attacked [[Autobot City]], full-force. [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] lead him away from Earth and Galvatron chased him to the [[Junkion (planet)|Planet of Junk]], where he defeated Magnus and took the Matrix, intending to use it against Unicron.

Galvatron could not open the Matrix, however, and as punishment for his treachory, Unicron swallowed him whole. Inside Unicron's belly, he met up with [[Hot Rod (G1)|Hot Rod]], and they got into a fight. Hot Rod retook the Matrix, morphing himself into [[Hot Rod (G1)|Rodimus Prime]], and hurled Galvatron's ass out the side of Unicron and into deep space. But that was not the end of Galvatron.

In the year 2006 (or 2010, if you're Japanese), [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] and [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]] set out to find their lost leader and return the Decepticons to glory. They found him sunk in a lava pit on the distant planet [[Thrull]] and managed to free him. However, the effects of the "plasma bath" royally screwed-up Galvatron's sanity chips, turning him certifiably nuts. Upon regaining his freedom he beat Cyclonus and Scourge up and completely destroyed Thrull.

Galvatron lead the Decepticons on many wacky adventures against the Autobots, though usually botching it in the end due to his craziness (he loved shooting his own troops). At one point, his nuttiness became so severe, the perpetually-loyal Cyclonus actually tricked Galvatron into taking therapy sessions (albeit, by force) on [[Torkulon]], the therapy-planet. After trying to murder a shrink during a word-association session, and building a gun in a basket-weaving class, somehow, Galvatron was deemed incurable by conventional methods. The doctors attempted to use living extensions of the planet to give him a lobotomy (much to Cyclonus' disapproval), but Galvatron broke free and murdered the sentient organic core of the planet. After that, he razed the entire planet's civilization, leaving them so broken it would take centuries to rebuild.

However, despite his insanity, he teamed-up with the resurrected [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] to stop the [[Hate Plague]]. He wound-up becoming infected by the plague and attempted to kill an unconsciouss Optimus Prime with a spear. Optimus woke up just in the nick of time and opened the [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]] directly in Galvatron's face. The wisdom of the Matrix not only cured the Universe of the Hate Plague, but cured Galvatron of his madness, as well. Grateful, Galvatron sanely declared "There will be no war today, Optimus. You have earned Galvatron's respect" and called a brief truce.

Later, Galvatron called the truce off and attacked Autobot City in full-force, searching for the Key to the [[Plasma Energy Chamber]]. He got the Key and intended to use it and the Plasma Energy to turn Cybertron into a mobile dreadnaut. He teamed with the Transformer-[[Nebulon]] hybrid, [[Scorponok (G1)|Lord Zarak]], but they were eventually defeated and sent tumbling through space when Cybertron ushered in a new Golden Age. After regaining control, Galvatron vowed to collect energy all over the galaxy and return to Cybertron, though Scorponok seemed to question his leadership.

In 2011, Galvatron reactivated the Decepticon [[Space Bridge]] on Cybertron and began a sneak-attack on the Autobots. He intended to hack into [[Vector Sigma]], though was thwarted just in time. The battle did result in yet another death for Optimus Prime.

Later Scorponok, Galvatron's new mysterious assistant from [[Master (planet)|Planet Master]], went against Galvatron's orders and placed bombs all around Vector Sigma. Galvatron rushed to Vector Sigma but could not get the bombs off in time and was caught in the world-destroying explosion.

Galvatron was thought dead for some time, until he returned alive and well a few months later. He retook Decepticon command and enacted a new devious plot. Galvatron intended to transform Earth into his new Unicron-like body, making him all-powerful. He told this news only to his most trusted warrior, [[Sixshot (G1)|Sixshot]], and also delivered the news that he intended to sacrifice all the Decepticons for parts to build the body. Not a good idea, as Sixshot betrayed him to Scorponok and Galvatron was left all alone to Battle the Autobot [[Headmasters]] in the North Pole. Galvatron was defeated by the "Head-Formation of Friendship" and buried alive deep within an iceberg.

Galvatron would remain buried in the ice until [[Battlestars]], where he was resurrected by [[Dark Nova]] as the new and improved [[Megatron (G1)| Super Megatron]].

Galvatron appeared regularly through-out the Japanese 2010 and Headmasters manga, which acted as a suppliment to the animated shows. Some of his devious schemes from the manga included creating a clone army of Megatrons, dubbed the [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron Military]], and forcing a human scientist named [[Dalton]] to create weapons of destruction for him. He even fought alonside his nemesis Rodimus Prime against [[Guiltor]], a strange fusion of Optimus Prime and Megatron that threatened to destroy both leaders.
