Starscream was lying in wait at a [[United States Military|US]] air base when covert agent [[Frenzy (Movie)|Frenzy]] reported that the [[All Spark]] had been located, along with Megatron, underneath [[Hoover Dam]]. Starscream ordered the rest of the Decepticons to move out. The others responded, with Blackout rallying in the name of Megatron, perhaps as a warning.

The first to arrive, Starscream attacked the hydro-electricity power plant attached to the dam to cause havok to [[Sector Seven]]'s operations and to speed the thawing of Megatron. With Frenzy's sabotage, Megatron eventually broke free of his icy restraints and escaped the facility and met with the waiting Starscream. Demanding to know what happened to the All Spark, Megatron was told by his second in command that it was now in the possession of the [[human]]s. Furious, Megatron berated him for yet another failure.

During the assault on a nearby city, Starscream fooled [[William Lennox|Captain Lennox]]'s unit by posing as an F-22 Raptor providing cover. Starscream launched and attack that crippled [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] as [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] realized too late who the fighter really was. As [[Sam Witwicky|ladiesman217]] ran with the All Spark, Starscream swooped down, blocking his path, only to be attacked by both Ironhide and [[Ratchet (Movie)|Ratchet]]. Besting them, Starscream took to the skies again as real F-22 Raptors from the US Air Force finally arrived.

Pretending to be a part of their squadron, Starscream surprised the human pilots by transforming in mid-air and, while pulling the most impressive Jet Judo routine in 20 years, easily destroyed several of the Raptors before he was fired upon and had to reassume his disguise to confuse the pilots. While Megatron attempted to retrieve the All Spark from Sam, Starscream perched on nearby buildings, but eventually disappeared an was not seen in the closing moments of the battle.

Most of the Decepticons were defeated, and their bodies cast into the deepest part of the ocean. Ultimately, Starscream retreated from Earth to parts unknown. {{storylink|Transformers (2007)}}

During late April/Early May of 2007, Sector Seven has intercepted two sound clips through agent Cod3x and another source. Apparently, Starscream wanted to make his presence known and left a message announcing that he would have the All Spark, and that Agent Powers would be the one to hand it over. These messages were somewhat garbled, as they were apparently received over a SETI@home system. Bumblebee is [[Sam Witwicky]]'s first car. After an initial misunderstanding, Bumblebee came to Sam's aid when [[Barricade (Movie)|Barricade]] attacked Sam. [[Mikaela Banes]] commented that his [[alternate mode|car mode]] was a piece of crap, prompting Bumblebee to turn into a sleeker version. Taking them to meet the rest of the Autobots, Optimus Prime explained their mission. When Sam and Mikaela were captured by [[Sector Seven]], Bumblebee helped rescue them, eventually releasing lubricant on [[reggie Simmons|a particularly hostile agent]]. A backup team arrived, attempting to capture them. Prime took Sam and Mikaela, but they nearly fell to their deaths while hiding. Bumblebee saved them, but Sector Seven captured and the children. Unwilling to use deadly force, Prime was forced to leave Bumblebee, something [[Jazz (Movie)|Jazz]] and [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] particularly disputed.

Taken to [[Hoover Dam]], Bumblebee was constantly doused with cryoblasts to prevent him from attacking. Sam and Mikaela (with some armed persuasion from [[William Lennox|Captain Lennox]]) convinced Sector Seven to release Bumblebee. Seriously pissed, Bumblebee prepared to [[Slag (slang)|slag]] anything between him and the door, but Sam informed him of the presence of the All Spark and Megatron. Switching it to a more portable version, Bumblebee and a military escort fled to [[Mission City]], meeting the Autobots enroute. After arriving at the city, [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] launched a sortie, and Bumblebee's legs were damaged. He gave Sam the All Spark, to keep it safe from Megatron, and Mikaela strapped him to an abandoned towtruck. Mikaela, feeling guilty for leaving Sam, drove the truck as Bumblebee provided coverfire, resulting in the destruction of [[Brawl (Movie)|Brawl]].

After the destruction of Megatron and the All Spark, Bumblebee (who had regained his voice, presumably from the All Spark) requested permission to remain with Sam, to which the young man agreed. After his legs were repaired, he allowed Sam and Mikaela to make out on top of him, as the other Autobots watched.

It was the best day ever.
