==Synopsis==
Arriving through the [[Space Bridge]], [[Shockwave]] attempts to destroy [[Spike Witwicky|Spike]] and [[Carly]], but only succeeds in disintrigating Carly's car. The two humans manage to take refugee inside a small hole in a computer. Carly attempts to work it, but is hit by a surge of electricity and falls into a nearby pit, damaging the computer, but also twisting Carly's ankle in the process. [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] contacts Shockwave and orders him to send [[Cybertonium]] before the [[Decepticon]]s die, but the Space Bridge is non-functional with the damage.

After escaping the computer, Spike and Carly are guided to [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]]'s old lab by [[Sparkplug Witwicky|Sparkplug]], using [[Teletraan I]]. They meet up with [[Swoop (G1)|Swoop]], who explains that the Dinobots were captured by the Decepticons and taken to the [[Cybertonium Pit]]. The three are guided by Sparkplug to a [[Mass transit system]]. Unfortunately, the tube carrying their car is damaged, and they can no longer communicate with Sparkplug. Deep underground, the three are nearly killed when they activate old defense systems. Swoop saves the day, but his wings are damaged. Reaching the surface, the three are captured by a [[Sentinel (G1)|Sentinel]].

Taken to the Cybertonium Pit, they discover that Shockwave altered the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobot]]s [[memory circuit]]s, making them think they're loyal to the Decepticons. Carly is able to repair their memory circuits, and Spike comes up with an escape plan. He and [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]] start arguing, so the Sentinel decides to remove the humans. When the force field surrounding them comes down, the Dinobots destroy the drones. Heading to the repaired Space Bridge, the Dinobots and humans manage to escape back to Earth, with a shipment of Cybertonium.

At the [[Ark (G1)|Autobot base]], [[Optimus Prime]] awards Spike and Carly with medals, making them "honorary Autobots". Grimlock decides to follow Optimus Prime's orders, and the Dinobots rejoin the [[Autobot]]s.

[[Tracks]] and [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] are in the city when they spot [[Raoul]] and his friends Poplock and Rocksteady being chased by a mob from the club [[Dancitron]]. Tracks realizes that something is wrong with the humans and investigates. [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]] and [[Soundwave (G1)|Soundwave]] are using the club to hypnotize humans so they can use them to construct a building.

A wounded Spike is turned into an Autobot Frankenstein's monster to save his life.

==Detailed synopsis==
Sparkplug constructs a new robot which is given the moniker [[Autobot X]]. However, during testing the robot is proven to be unstable, Sparkplug cannot control it and it is shutdown and put into storage. Soon after Spike is injured in a conflict with the Decepticons. In order to save him his mind must be transferred to Autobot X so that doctors may operate on his fragile body. Autobot X's unstable mind fuses with Spike's, who is in turn influenced by Megatron to betray the Autobots. Only the near death of Sparkplug prevents Spike from continuing his rampage, shaking him from his madness. Finally, following his surgical procedure, Spike's mind is returned to his own body.

What [[Fireflight]] does for air travel '''Wildrider''' does for the roadways. The difference is that the [[Aerialbot]] honestly means no harm and this insanely wild-riding Stunticon most definitely does. Some of his Decepticon comrades suspect him of playing insane to enhance his street cred, but those who have come to know him the best realize that it's no act. Wildrider really is a certifiable nutcase and a very real danger to anything on the road with him. Even his fellow Stunticons are wary of driving anywhere near him.

An example of this attitude was the very first thing that he ever said after being imbued with his [[Spark]] from [[Vector Sigma]]: "I'm Wildrider...and I wanna bust somethin' up!" [[Megatron]], laughing in delight, answered, "Well said!", but informed his new creation that he must wait until their return to Earth. Just as the Decepticons and their newly-brought-to-life Stunticons were about to be transported back to Earth, Wildrider asked, with angry anxiousness in his voice, "When do I get to bust something up?" Megatron responded most approvingly, "Soon...*very* soon!"

Wildrider combines with his fellow Stunticons to form [[Menasor]].

At some point in Cybertron's recent history, the Stunticons were deemed psychotic and too dangerous to function in society, and as a result were placed into perpetual stasis lock inside of a prison facility. Later, in an attempt to create a diversion while he set his final plans in motion, [[Shockwave (G1)|Shockwave]] arranged for the release of the Stunticons. They formed into Menasor and ran amuck for awhile, until [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]] arrived and began insulting them. Unable to reconcile with this, the five Stunticons began to bicker with each other over whose fault it was that they were failing, temporarily stopping Menasor and allowing Ultra Magnus to ram the combiner in the chest, forcing him to separate into his component parts and disabling the Stunticons.
