Wing Saber
:Airazor is a Maximal from the Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity family. She was previously known as Wing Saber and sometimes referred to as the Chromia 10 Pilot.

Primarily used for recon and surveillance due to her aerial alternate mode, Airazor's talents are a great asset to the Maximal cause. She's calm and confident, but also adventurous and brave, with a healthy supply of dry humor. Her aerial skill in either mode, incredibly sharp eyesight and steady aim make her a dangerous opponent.

Due to the circumstances of her "birth," she sees Rhinox as something of a father-figure and Cheetor as the sibling she never had. She devotes most of her efforts, however, to taming the wild yet gentle Tigatron. She shares his love for the beautiful planet on which the Maximals are stranded, and it is on this planet where their destiny will be forever intertwined.
The Razor's Edge
Her name was Wing Saber.

A routine reconnaissance mission went awry when Wing Saber was captured by the Predacon torturer, Steelgrave. Despite his array of fiendish devices and Bond-villain mentality, Wing Saber was able to elude Steelgrave and fight her way through his henchmen before retreating to her cloaked starship, the Chromia 10. Although she escaped, Wing Saber bore the physical and mental scars from her encounter with Steelgrave for some time.

Later, she was assigned to rendez-vous with a pair of Maximals named Crossblades and Stiletto for a new mission. In violation of the Pax Cybertronia, a group of Predacons had been rampaging through the J'Kozian Sector and set up a troop manufacturing factory on the conquered world of Nibari. Holographically posing as barmaids, the trio inebriated most of Steelgrave's troops into stasis lock before proceeding into the factory. Their infiltration was cut short by a raid on the factory by the native Nibari population, led by Ritash. Wing Saber's group was forced to divert their mission in order to keep the organics from being completely slaughtered. They were actually doing well...at least, until the true leader of Steelgrave's Predacons made his presence known... Megatron!

Wing Saber's crew evacuated with all due haste, taking Ritash of the Nibari with them. A reassessment of the situation was clearly called for. After a review of the history records, Wing Saber decided that the frequent quotations of "No Known Weaknesses" overlooked Megatron's infamous arrogance, and THAT was what they needed to exploit. The crew of the Chromia 10 challenged Megatron to combat in full view of his subordinates, forcing him to agree in order to save face. During the ritualized combat, Crossblades noticed that the Mighty Megatron was nowhere near as invulnerable as history records indicated. Sensing a ruse, the Maximals concentrated their firepower and revealed "Megatron" was little more than an exo-suit run by his ex-lieutenant, Flamewar. With Flamewar revealed, and the drone troopers brought under the control of Ritash and his rebels, Nibari was well on its way to being freed. The Razor's Edge

The Predacons who stole the Golden Disk were pursued by Unit 2, who was granted clearance from Maximal Defense Command to commandeer transport. The Maximal who would become Airazor was boarding her ship, the Chromia 10, when Unit 2 approached and demanded use of it. "Airazor" at first refused, but suggested she was open to... persuasion. The call of adventure captured her interest, and instead of handing over the Chromia 10 to Unit 2, she allowed him to hitch a ride, piloting it herself.

The Chromia 10 intercepted the Predacons' ship, the Darksyde, which was engaged in battle with the Axalon and guarded by a mysterious third ship. During the ensuing firefight, the Chromia 10 was badly damaged. Optimus Primal had "Airazor" and Unit 2's sparks remotely uploaded to blank protoforms in the Axalon's cargo hold, which saved their lives, but severely damaged their core mainframes. Dawn of Future's Past

{{note|This story is a retcon, as Airazor was originally treated as a newborn protoform in the Beast Wars animated series.
Her stasis pod damaged upon crashing to Earth, Airazor was able to come online due to the genius of Rhinox and the bravery of Cheetor. Rhinox deftly operated the stasis pod's controls and Cheetor offered up his own components to repair it. Immediately out of the pod, she outmaneuvered and destroyed Terrorsaur. Her aerial beast mode, at the time, made her the only Maximal other than Optimus who could fly. The Spark

She and Tigatron started to team up more frequently, a prospect Airazor seemed to welcome, but Tigatron preferred to work alone. Their first big adventure together came when a flying island paradise was discovered. The island, however, was covered in booby-traps which were triggered by the use of energy weapons. Airazor rescued Tigatron when he was ambushed by Predacons on the island, but she was damaged badly. The Trigger, Part 1 Tigatron carried her on his back, refusing to leave her behind, and the pair worked together to avoid and overcome the island's traps. The island was ultimately destroyed, much to the sadness and outrage of Tigatron, and he would have secluded himself from the other Maximals further if not for Airazor's concern. The Trigger, Part 2

Soon after, the Predacons beat Tigatron to another stasis pod, reprogramming it and unleashing Inferno. Airazor and Tigatron took turns helping each other, but once again, Tigatron insisted that he work alone. Airazor commented that sometimes you can be too alone. She was right, because after he tracked down Tarantulas and destroyed the stasis pod, Tigatron got shot up a lot. Nearing death, Tigatron was saved by the arrival of Airazor and Optimus Primal. Spider's Game

During a Predacon attack on the Axalon, Airazor saved Optimus from plunging to his doom, but was herself so badly damaged she had to spend several days in the CR chamber. She emerged to find that the other Maximals had succumbed to their beast instincts through having to stay in beast mode constantly, as a result of the Predacons stealing the ship's rectifier coil. While Tigatron helped the Maximals, Airazor was able to infiltrate the largely deserted Predacon base and retrieve the rectifier coil. Call of the Wild

After the Maximals were expelled from their base by the Predacons, aided by a Starscream-possessed Waspinator, Airazor alerted Tigatron to the situation. The pair joined in a ploy to retake their base, which involved an assault on the Darksyde under Starscream's leadership. Possession Airazor was part of the reinforcements provided when Rattrap and Dinobot were trying to find a cure for the energon discharge virus Rhinox was afflicted with. For some reason she felt the need to pose provocatively by Optimus's leg as the Maximals appeared on the scene. The Low Road

After the realization that the aliens who seeded their planet with traps and energon were returning to destroy it, the Maximals and Predacons entered a truce. Optimus Primal used Airazor to try to sneak Rattrap into the Predacon base to find out what Megatron was up to, but Megatron, of course, found them on his scanners and politely asked them to leave. Unbeknownst to Megatron, the ploy was a decoy for Tigatron's infiltration. Before the Storm
The aliens arrived and a new alien structure was built, trapping Airazor, who was tortured. Optimus Primal forced his way inside, with the help of the Predacons, and traded himself to the aliens for Airazor. Rattrap dragged her from the structure, only for them to find themselves at gunpoint — the truce was over. The pair were able to use the activation of the structure's "termination sequence" to deal with the Predacons, before fleeing with the escaping Optimus. Other Voices, Part 1 As one of the planet's moons was revealed as an alien weapon, the Maximals retreated to their base. There, Airazor and Rattrap caught Blackarachnia working on a stasis pod in the ship's hold, and Optimus was able to use it to destroy the Planet Buster, though at the cost of his own life. Other Voices, Part 2

Airazor and Tigatron escaped Transmetalization by the quantum surge. They attempted to stop Blackarachnia escaping, but were both knocked offline by Megatron. Aftermath After repairs, the duo left together to find the rest of the missing stasis pods scattered across the planet. Coming of the Fuzors (Part 1) While on their search, the two Maximals discovered not only a remarkably beautiful valley, but a strange plant. As the two looked into each other's eyes and held hands in quiet celebration, the plant transformed into another Vok device, and as they clasped hands, declaring their love to exist beyond the throes of death, the two were absorbed and shot into space.
Airazor and Tigatron were kept in a form of stasis until near the end of the Beast Wars, when they were merged together into the powerful being Tigerhawk. Tigerhawk returned to Earth as the emissary of the Vok to stop the deterioration that the Beast Wars were causing to the timestream, his first act being to destroy the Darksyde, sending the Predacons scrambling. Tarantulas managed to capture Tigerhawk and removed the Vok's influence from his frame (and absorbed it into himself), letting Airazor and Tigatron's sparks inhabit Tigerhawk's body. Tigatron's voice was dominant, but Tigerhawk's personality and mannerisms were an amalgam of Tigatron and Airazor's. Other Victories

Shortly afterward, however, Tigerhawk was killed in a standoff with the Nemesis after Megatron retrieved it from the ocean floor. Nemesis Part 2
3H comics
Somewhere near the end of the first year of the Beast Wars, before the Planet Buster ignited the planet's energon, Airazor, Rhinox, and Cheetor overheard a battle between Fractyl and Packrat. Airazor ended up having to rescue Cheetor, who had darted off ahead of them and gotten blasted. After the battle was resolved, she and the other Maximals fled, pretending to be beaten by the timid Fractyl to increase his standing in Megatron's eyes. Ground Zero

After the Beast Wars were over, Tarantulas, presumed destroyed, existed in a new, undead form that was fueled by his new Vok powers. The remaining Vok assembled warriors to end this threat, creating Primal Prime and giving new Transmetal bodies to the extant Sparks of Airazor and Tigatron.

After awakening a stranded stasis pod containing Ramulus, opening a second pod triggered an ambush by Spittor, Iguanus, Razorclaw, and a reborn Transmetal 2 Ravage. Airazor immediately saved Tigatron's life, knocking Spittor aside before Tigatron would have unwittingly come in contact with Spittor's body, covered entirely in cyber venom. This maneuver left her vulnerable to Ravage's gunfire, which knocked her out of the air.

The battle ended catastrophically, and Ramulus, Airazor, and Tigatron were forced to carry a critically-wounded Primal Prime back to the Ark after Tarantulas ripped the Matrix of Leadership from his chest. As Airazor and Tigatron conferred with the seemingly absent Vok, Airazor experienced great pains due to her battle wounds. But before she could explain, the Ark was under attack by Ravage and the Predacons. Primeval Dawn

{{note|Due to 3H Productions loss of the convention license, "Primeval Dawn" was never completed. It is telling, however, that Airazor was not present in the subsequently-placed "Wreckers" storyline. "Wreckers: Finale Part II" even has Tigatron awkwardly not answering Rattrap's query as to where Airazor is now.
Following the Quantum surge, Airazor, who is a girl, became a Transmetal. However, she was separated from the rest of the Maximals and was locked outside of their base during Quickstrike's counterattack. As she flew in, Sentinel's defenses began to fire at her. Rhinox attempted to shut Sentinel down, only to be stopped by Rattrap, who warned him that Sentinel was the only thing protecting them from Quickstrike's army of Cobra Soldiers and Scorpion Soldiers. Rhinox brushed him aside and shut Sentinel down, anyway. Airazor, who had been shot by Sentinel, swooped in for a crash-landing. Rattrap, feeling somewhat guilty, dove to soften her landing. Not long after this, Blackarachnia breached their defenses and took out both Rattrap and Airazor without effort. Rhinox saved her some time and appeared to shoot himself in the head. Feeling her job was done, Blackarachnia left as Quickstrike destroyed their base.

From a small section of the base that had been protected by a forcefield, Airazor aided Rattap and Rhinox in pulling Optimus Primal's spark from Transwarp space. As Rhinox brought his spark out from oblivion, Rattrap funneled it through a ray device while Airazor positioned a reflective dish. Primal's spark bounced off the dish and connected with his body (which was being held by Megatron at his base, the Hindenburg), resurrecting him as a Transmetal. Airazor, still injured from before, began to plummet to the ground. Primal rescued her, destroyed Megatron's drone army, and carried her off on his flying surfboard. Recovering, Airazor began to wonder where her "Tigatron-sama" was. Raise the Curtain for Beast Wars Metals!!

Later, Airazor's spark became separated from her body, with her body becoming host to a malevolent force. The evil Airazor did battle with Tigatron, who did not want to fight the robot he loved. With no other option, Tigatron gave the evil Airazor one of his katana and knelt down. As the evil Airazor struck him with the sword, the real Airazor's spark entered Tigatron's body. In cyberspace, the two embraced and vowed never to be apart again. As their sparks merged, they became Tigerhawk.

Airazor, sporting a purely Cybertronian form, became a resident of Axiom Nexus at an unknown point in time and the timelines. She joined the offworlders' Freelance Police Legion and also forged ties with their parallel organization, the Axiom Nexus Security Administration run by the planet's native Cybertronians, the Transcendent Technomorphs. Airazor eventually received authorization as an inspector in the Security Administration, giving her the rare (if not unique) status as an officer for BOTH police forces in Axiom Nexus. Despite her official status, Airazor still enjoyed her vices, and was a frequent customer of the Widow's Cafe Cybertronian at the edge of the Heap.

Airazor was involved in the first detaining of Jackpot and Hubcap, after the assassination of Gutcruncher sent Axiom Nexus into chaos. She and Stungun stood guard over the duo while awaiting Commander Cheetor's arrival. As is often the case with femmes, she had absolutely no tolerance for Jackpot's sweet-talk. Upon his arrival, Cheetor dismissed Airazor to keep an eye on three "units of interest" who had recently come through Processing Central. He casually suggested she recruit some Freelancers as well to keep the surveillance less official, since it was technically out of their jurisdiction. Her departure served a double purpose, leaving a viable exit for the lowtech Autobots to flee and draw out the real assassin for the Security Administration. Once Black Shadow and his shell were deactivated, Airazor swooped in and took Jackpot into custody again immediately. Despite his claims of having found a real connection, she was thrilled when Commander Cheetor expedited his departure to his home universal stream. Gone Too Far

Shortly after her promotion to Inspector Airazor, the Maximal had occasion to drop in on her old friend Crystal Widow at the Widow's Cafe. It was hardly a social call, however, as Security Administration had been requesitioned by General Demolishor of the Military Police to conduct a serious investigation into some courier murders and the theft of unauthorized TransTech technology. One of Crystal Widow's regular, Escargon, had been pegged for the matter. Airazor tried to execute a quiet arrest, but General Demolishor's attention span and flair for the dramatic turned it into a decidedly UNquiet raid of the premises. Demolishor also executed Escargon on the spot while Airazor was attempting to gain control of the suspect.

In his zeal, however, General Demolishor hadn't thought to check if Escargon had the stolen property before shooting him. Sure enough, a thorough search by Inspector Airazor appeared to turn up no traces of the property on his person. Dejected, General Demolishor turned his frustrations on the clientelle, particular several "mechanoids of interest" called GoBots who had arrived around the same time as Escargon. With some fast legalese, Airazor managed to talk Demolishor out of doing further damage to the bar or Crystal Widow's customers. After the good general departed, Airazor explained the seriousness of the situation -- Escargon had stolen a set of transit passes, official letters for TransTech black ops work that allowed unmolested access to any transwarp platform facility. Literally a "Get Out of Axiom Nexus Free" Card.

General Demolishor was not so easily deterred, though, and soon wound up battling Crystal Widow and the GoBots in the Heap until Airazor and Commander Cheetor arrived with the Security Administration. The general was quickly deflated when Cheetor told him he had informed Commander Megatron personally about the issuance of these unauthorized transit passes, and the fact that Demolishor had lost them. Because the Heap was outside of Security Administration jurisdiction, the collar officially went to Airazor as a representative of the Freelance Police Legion.

As Demolishor was being led away, Commander Cheetor requested a private word with Inspector Airazor. In no uncertain terms, he very loudly did not say he knew she had swiped the passes while frisking Escargon, and did not tell her to make sure the passes were handed over to the GoBots. Reluctantly, Airazor did as she was not ordered to do and gave up her meal tickets. Withered Hope

Gender
Airazor's gender in the Hasbro line is due to Beast Wars story editors Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio's insistence. The original Airazor toy wasn't developed with a specific gender in mind, and Bob & Larry wanted a larger female presence in the show, and the Airazor toy seemed as good a choice as any. They requested the change early enough that the toy's packaging bio could have its pronouns changed to female (thank god). The later Transmetal version of Airazor was the first American-released Transformer mold created to represent a female character.

In the Japanese dub of Beast Wars, Airazor was turned into a boy as a means to (hopefully) increase toy-sales. For the TV series, his relationship with Tigatron was played off somewhat differently to avoid complaints of homosexuality. Tigatron was presented as a samurai retainer with protective feelings towards his young ward; their closeness addressed in a "brotherly" sort of way. Despite that, there was still enough innuendo left-over for the gender-bending to become unsettling. The Japanese script's near-relentless "jokey" tone didn't help. And there was simply no way for the dub team to get past the sequence in "Other Visits (Part 1)" when Airazor and Tigatron stare into each others' eyes while holding hands and slowly leaning in for a kiss, so in that instance the dub team had male Airazor fully "come out" and begin to express his affection for Tigatron just before the two of them were abducted by the Vok. Japanese magazine editors, responding to letters from confused young fans, gently explained that "some people are just like that".

In the case of the Beast Wars Metals manga, however, Airazor's female gender was retained, as was her romantic relationship with Tigatron. This was due to the fact that Airazor's Transmetal toy was likely the first Transformer toy designed to intentionally represent a female character. Though her gender was restored, her personality underwent an overhaul, no longer resembling her tough, tomboy-ish Western characterization. Since Japanese entertainment does not cotton to female warrior characters in Transformers (these are the people who turned Arcee into a secretary), Airazor was reduced to a helpless damsel in distress with a subservient and single-minded devotion to her "Tigatron-sama". Commence puke.

Notes
* Somewhat inexplicably, a number of the Italian toyline-specific names for various Beast Wars characters were only printed on the cardback for the Italian "video-pack" release of Airazor; the names do not even appear on the cardback for "video-pack" Razorclaw, who was presumably released in proximity to her, if not at the same time. The Italian names only printed on "video-pack" Airazor were: Insector (Powerpinch), Rapax (Lazorbeak), Vortex (Drill Bit), Anfibius (Spittor), Diablo (Snarl), Cannibal (Manterror), Tenax (Retrax), Dingo (K-9), and Bison (Bonecrusher).

* The name of Airazor's ship in Dawn of Future's Past, the Chromia 10, is a reference to her original toy's Japanese ID number, and not to being "case fresh"... as is obvious from her dialogue.

* The Dawn of Future's Past Club exclusive toy is only sorta technically the second Club exclusive toy. ==Synopsis==
The Nemesis is drawing closer to Gaea.

Dirgegun and Thrustol are reporting that Lio Junior is attacking their latest Angolmois Energy mining operation. Now able to use Angolmois Energy balls as a weapon, Lio Junior is easily taking care of the Autorollers. Galvatron sends Hellscream out to take care of Lio Jr. Hellscream arrives at the mining operation and begins to fire on Lio Jr. Hellscream is able to deflect Lio Jr's energy balls. During the battle, Lio Junior is almost knocked into an Angolmois Stream nearby. Santon and Skywarp arrive to assist, and talk to Lio Jr. As they talk, the ground gives way under Lio Jr and he hangs on from falling in the pit. The Angolmois Energy then fluxes and creates a wall of energy hitting Lio Jr. At the Cybertron base, Lioconvoy senses something is wrong with Lio Jr. Back at the pit, Lio Junior falls in the Angolmois Energy pit.

While in the pit, Galvatron attempts to talk to Lio Jr on a spiritual plane. Galvatron chooses his words carefully, and tries to convince Lio Jr to turn on the Cybertrons. Lio Jr listens to Galvatron's arguments, but decides they are still incorrect. Outside the pit, the wall of energy has subsided and Santon and Skywarp see Lio Jr crawling out of the pit. Tasmanian Kid and Bighorn have just arrived at the location and attempt to talk to Lio Jr. Although everything appears normal, Lio Jr seems a bit more demanding and has a purple glow to his eyes. He's anxious to head back to base. Kid and Bighorn feel something is wrong. Back at the Cybertron base, Lioconvoy is disappointed the Cybertrons fought the Destrons with such low numbers. He attempts to talk to Lio Jr, but Lio Jr rams Lioconvoy (who is in lion mode) with his shoulder. Skywarp and Santon try to hold Lio Jr back, but Lio Jr is easily able to throw them off. As Lio Jr charges Lioconvoy again, Bighorn attempt to block his path but is easily knocked away by Lio Jr's Angolmois balls. Lioconvoy attempt to run away, but is knocked over again by Lio Jr's tail lance. In an attempt to be able to control Lio Jr, Santon and Skywarp force a merge with Lio Jr into Magnaboss. Once Magnaboss forms, his eyes have that same strange purple glow that Lio Jr's possessed. Magnaboss throws an Angolmois ball at Lioconvoy and damages him. He attempts to throw several energy waves from his blade, which are deflected by Bighorn and Scuba blocking Lioconvoy. Lioconvoy is eventually hit with another wave, but gets up again. Magnaboss approaches Lioconvoy to finish off the job. Lioconvoy uses his Matrix connection to Lio Jr to talk to him on a spirtual plane. Although they agree on the issues, Magnaboss is still under evil's control. Lioconvoy stands in front of Magnaboss and uses his Matrix chamber to suck the evil out of Magnaboss. As Magnaboss comes out of the evil Angolmois Energy spell and splits apart, Galvatron appears in a hologram above. Lioconvoy then directs his Spark chamber towards the hologram and fires the evil at Galvatron. Weakened, Lioconvoy falls to the ground. Lio Jr attempts to argue with Galvatron, but the hologram disappears due to the evil thrown at it.

After the battle, Lio Jr apologizes for acting alone in battle and almost killing Lioconvoy. Lioconvoy accepts the apology and mentions that they must prepare for a bigger battle.
Synopsis
As the Nemesis travels towards Gaea, volcanoes start to erupt. Gigastorm has crawled out of the Angolmois Energy pit and arrived at the Destron ship. He uses the ray of the ship to shrink himself so that he may enter the base. He attends to his comotose brother, Galvatron, and then proceeds to order the Destrons around. Afterwards, he heads outside on another rampage. At the Cybertron base, Lioconvoy and crew have located Gigastorm. Lio Junior, Santon, and Skywarp are sent out to capture Gigastorm. They locate him, and allow him to chase them to an unknown destination.

Starscream and BB are in the skies, waiting for an unknown vessel to enter Gaea's atmosphere. Dirge and Thrust are also waiting for the item, but are fired upon. They quickly retreat, and it is revealed that Starscream and BB actually fired upon them from above the clouds. Meanwhile, Lio Jr, Santon, and Skywarp have lead Gigastorm to a box canyon. The rest of the Cybertrons are at the rim of the canyon waiting to surrround Gigastorm. As Gigastorm enters, the Cybertrons fire on the canyon and cause part of the canyon to collapse. Gigastorm is buried in the rubble, but survives. He calls on Starscream and BB for assistance. However, Starscream and BB are chasing the vessel which has just crash landed elsewhere. The door to the vessel opens, and a robot that looked similar to Scuba (but blue) before he acquired his beast mode appears. The figure asks for Scuba, but is only met with enemy fire by Starscream and BB. The figure retreats to the vessel and shuts the door.

At the canyon, Gigastorm has managed to free his head from the rubble at the same time Thrust and Dirge arrive. Using ropes, they pull him out the rubble. Lio Jr is knocked off the cliff into the valley. He is almost stepped on by Gigastorm, but is saved at the last moment by Lioconvoy. Gigastorm then picks up Lio Jr with his mouth, but is knocked down as the mysterious vessel crashes in the valley. The figure comes out and Scuba approaches the individual. It is revealed that he is Scuba's friend and that his name is Ikard. Ikard copies Scuba's beast mode to protect himself from Gaea's elements. Ikard then presents Scuba with a new weapon in the vessel: the Tako-Tank (a tank that looks like an octopus). Meanwhile, the Destrons have regrouped and attack the Cybertrons. Scuba jumps in the Tako-Tank and rushes towards Gigastorm. Using the Tako-Tank he spits out ink at the Destron. He takes the Tako-Tank to the cliff, where he deploys the hovercraft portion of the Tako-Tank. He uses the guns on the tank to fire at Gigastorm. Magnaboss forms, and then takes Gigastorm on at ground level. The Destrons quickly retreat.

In the canyon, the Cybertrons jealously look over the Tako-Tank. Scuba and Ikard say their good-byes and Ikard takes off in the empty vessel. In space, he warps just in time before the Nemesis sucks him in.
Synopsis
After a staredown, Magnaboss and Galvatron (who is in dragon mode) begin to tussle. Lioconvoy recovers from the pain in his Matrix chamber to fire a shot at Galvatron. He then jumps on Galvatron and holds his neck while Magnaboss plunges his sword into Galvatron's chest. As Magnaboss withdraws the sword, Angolmois Energy spills out of Galvatron's chest. Severely wounded, Galvatron flies off. Magnaboss wants to follow Galvatron, but Lioconvoy points out that Galvatron has been severely and, probably, mortally wounded.

After the fight, Lio Junior continues to refer to Lioconvoy as "Papa". Lioconvoy is still confused and angered to here this, and tries to inform Lio Jr that he is not his father. While Lio Jr sits alongside the falls at base, Lioconvoy views the information disk that Santon and Skywarp have delivered. The disk shows footage of the Nemesis as well as information on its purpose. The Nemesis is being sent to Gaea to drain it of all the Angolmois Energy.

Lio Jr continues to sulk near the falls as Lioconvoy approaches him and explains that they are connected through their Matrix housings and that they will need to share the energy to stabilize Lioconvoy. As the Cybertrons then scout as a group, Lioconvoy explains that Gaea created a copy of Lioconvoy's Matrix energy when he was rescued by the white lion. This energy was infused into Lio Jr's body, which would then be allowed to grow under the control of Gaea. Lio Jr is not satisfied by this news, yells at Lioconvoy, and runs off. Santon and Skywarp follow him.

At the Destron base, Skywarp and BB perform "surgery" on Galvatron in an attempt to save his life. They are successful, but Galvatron remains critical. Megastorm arrives and informs the Destrons that he is going to dip himself in Angolmois Energy to even the sides against the Cybertrons. As Megastorm departs for the energy, Starscream plots against Megastorm. Above the Angolmois pit, Megastorm has entered the cage being held up by a crane. He orders Starscream to lower him into the pit. As he is lowered, Megastorm reconsiders and asks Starscream to pull him back up. Starscream defies Megastorm and lets go of the control level, breaking the line. Megastorm falls uncontrollably into the Angolmois Energy pit.

Later on, Lio Jr arrives near the pit (no one is around now). Santon and Skywarp arrive and attempt to talk to Lio Jr but to no success. As Santon and Skywarp depart, Lio Jr takes a nap at the edge of the pit. Soon, the ground shakes and gives way underneath Lio Jr. At the Cybertron base, Lioconvoy's Matrix Energy fluxes. This flux informs Lioconvoy that Lio Jr is in danger. The Cybertrons then depart for the pit at which Lio Jr was last located.

As Lio Jr is about to fall, Lioconvoy arrives and catches Lio Jr. Just as the two reconcile, a giant mechanical dinosaur appears from the Angolmois Energy. The new foe is actually Megastorm reborn as....Gigastorm! Gigastorm runs at the Cybertrons, but is met with resistance. Santon, Skywarp, and Lio Jr form Magnaboss and drive back Gigastorm with the aid of Lioconvoy. Gigastorm is sent back into the pit.

As the sun sets on another day, Lioconvoy and Lio Jr discuss their bond and promise to protect each other.
Synopsis
The force that sucked the Seacons in at the end of the last episode was revealed to be the Nemesis, an instrument of destruction built by Galvatron. He will use it to absorb Angolmois Energy wherever possible.

Two new Cybertrons have tracked the Nemesis and enter the solar system containing Gaea. Meanwhile on Gaea, Angolmois Energy geysers are erupting all over. Bighorn, Apache, and Lioconvoy have ventured off to investigate when Lioconvoy approaches the cave in which the white lion first rescued him (see Episode 2). Several small rocks fall from the cliff above, and Lioconvoy looks up to see an outline of a lion above. Suddenly, the lion jumps from the cliff and runs towards the Cybertrons. The lion smacks Bighorn and runs off back up the cliff. Before the Cybertrons run up the cliff to catch the lion, Lioconvoy grasps his chest as the Matrix energy flucuates. As the Cybertrons attend to Lioconvoy, the lion runs off.

The Destrons are overlooking the construction of an energy storage system built by the Autorollers. Galvatron soon approaches, and takes a container to a geysers against the apprehension of the rest of Megastorm. As Galvatron heads towards the geyser, the land shakes and some of the contraption falls on Galvatron. The Destrons fear he is dead, but Galvatron soon digs out of the rubble in his drill mode. He wanders off in a rampage, with the Destrons chasing behind him.

Diver and Tasmanian Kid are elsewhere looking at the Angolmois Energy geysers when they see the new lion. Believing it is Lioconvoy, they call out for him. The lion changes course as he approaches the Cybertrons, and Diver and Kid follow him. The Cybertrons cut the lion off and the lion swipes at Kid. Kid gets up and the two start to wrestle. Kid is thrown off the lion. Diver and Tasmanian Kid transform to robot mode to subdue the lion The lion first looks shocked at these robot, but the lion then speaks! After speaking, the lion transforms into robot mode and apparently has a head that looks similiar to Lioconvoy! Diver and Kid look at each other, stunned. The three sit down on a cliff and try to determine who this lion is and why he's here. The lion informs the Cybertrons that the first thing he remembers was being cared for by an old white lion. The lion trained him, but was fatally injured one day when the young lion jumped off a cliff and transformed. The old lion jumped down the cliff, but violently hit the ground. Diver and Kid mention his uncanny likeness to Lioconvoy and say that he will know the answers. At the same time, Lioconvoy, Bighorn, and Apache approach the lion, Kid, and Diver. The lion runs to Lioconvoy, excited to discover what his past may be. As he reaches Lioconvoy, the lion exclaims, "Mama!". The Cybertrons look in shock as Lioconvoy explains that he can't possibly be the lion's mother. The lion then calls Lioconvoy his "Papa", and Lioconvoy himself looks on in shock. Lioconvoy explains that he doesn't know where the lion came from. The lion then transforms, and has dubbed himself Lio Junior. Lio Jr. then attacks Lioconvoy. Lioconvoy then draws his guns, and the Cybertrons can't believe he is going to fire at this newly found transformer. However, Lioconvoy fires over a hill at the approaching Galvatron. As Galvatron approaches in drill mode, he pushes Lioconvoy against the cliff. As Galvatron attempts to find the rest of the Cybertrons, the ship containing the two unknown Cybertrons arrive. Inside the ship, the two Cybertrons have an image of Lio Jr. on the screen, which is soon followed by an image of a giant robot.

The mystery Cybertrons jump out of the ship and transform to robot mode. The elephant reveals himself to be Santon and the eagle reveals himself to be Skywarp. The two Cybertrons grab Lio Jr's attention and surround him with an energy pulse. The pulse forces Lio Jr to merge with them to form the giant robot seen on their ship's monitor. The robot reveals himself to be Magnaboss! Magnaboss confronts Galvatron and draws his sword. Meanwhile, Lioconvoy grabs his chest and falls over in pain again.
