Inferno brings Megatron an alien golden disk that causes him to offer a too good to be true cease fire to the Maximals.

Original Air Date: February 21, 1997

Summary
Megatron (BW) is woken by the computer of the Darksyde. It reports an energy anomaly in the mountainside, and that it is of alien origin. Megatron, sees the start of something big. Inferno (BW) is sent, where he retrieves the second golden disc.

Optimus Primal is in a scouting run looking for the same energy anomaly that Megatron already found (Why the Axalon couldn't detect it as the Darksyde could is unclear). He sees a strange probe, and follows it. The probe stops and forms into a holoform of Megatron. He proposes to meet about a truce on neutral ground, between both leaders.

When they meet, Megatron insists that the truce is not an act of treachery. He explains that he has no time to fight Maximals, and he needs time to think. Primal reluctantly agrees to a truce, bound by Maximal code. Rhinox proposes that it's about the alien energy. Primal agrees, stating that something scared Megatron very badly. Rattrap is sent - kicking and screaming - into infiltrating the Darksyde.

Meanwhile, Tarantulus has already spent his time transferring Inferno's stasis pod into an escape ship to flee the primitive Earth before the Vok arrive. Waspinator surprises him and demands an answer, and Tarantulus easily defeats him. Megatron, watching the exchange, decides to let Tarantulus do his work, and throw another kink in it - Blackarachnia.

Airazor is carrying Rattrap to the Darksyde - unarmed - and drops him off quickly before hailing the Predacon channels. Megatron casually disarms the perimeter defenses and asks Airazor to leave. As she leaves, he stops her a moment and suggests she take Rattrap with her. Foiled, they return to the base and report to Primal, but exchange knowing glances - the distraction was enough for Tigatron to make his entrance.

Blackarachnia surprises Tarantulus, and in the confusion, Megatron hacks the trans-warp cell and adds his own programming.

Tigatron hacks the Predacon database in a cool VR world, and discovers the second Golden Disc's datatracks. Terrasaur (BW) sees him and prepares to fire, but Tigatron easily knocks him over and flees, running towards the Maximal ambush party. The Maximals (even Dinobot (BW) conquer the Predacons - in a very peaceful and truce-like fashion.

On the Maximal base, Tigatron explains - the same aliens, the same ones who crafted the flying island, the energon on Earth, the runes, and the golden discs - were coming back, and they weren't very happy about the Transformers' presence on Earth.
We're much stricter with the content itself in most situations, but we do try to be informative and fun at the same time. This is a very subjective case-by-case basis on all these things, so it's probably hard to feel "the groove" at first, but it's there, and it's, in general, shared, so that's why you see so much retaliation when jokes are removed. --ItsWalky 23:43, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Hook, Line, and Sinker are characters in the Marvel continuity.

The characters were originally low-life criminals from the planet Ghennix. When Ghennix was destroyed by Unicron, the criminals attempted to escape in a small spaceship, but Unicron caught their starship.

Instead of killing the criminals, Unicron reformatted them into three powerful assassins, whom he named Hook, Line, and Sinker. Each was given new weapons: Hook(not to be confused with the Constructicon) has a hook on one of his hands and a harpoon on the other, Line carries a sword and a net, and Sinker has two massive steel balls at the end of his arms.

Hook, Line, and Sinker's first mission was to fetch Galvatron from an alternate timeline. In this timeline, the Decepticons had won against the Autobots in 2009. Galvatron was leading the Pretender Monsters onto a final victory march into New York City, when Hook, Line, and Sinker captured him and brought him to the "real" timeline, into the 1980s.

Unicron intended Galvatron to serve as his chief assassin and Hook, Line, and Sinker to serve as Galvatron's aides. The four powerful creations assaulted Autobase. But, when Galvatron met Emirate Xaaron deep under the surface of Cybertron, he rebelled against Unicron and (at least apparently) sided with Xaaron instead. Through a psychic link, Unicron was immediately aware of this treachery, and sent Hook, Line, and Sinker to kill Galvatron. They failed, and Galvatron killed them instead.<div id="wikia-credits"><br /><br /><small>From Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki, a Wikia wiki.</small></div>

The leader, Silverbolt's alternate mode is that of a human transport airplane. After given life and during testing, Prime ordered them to stop the Decepticon assault on the Hoover Damn.

The fight went well, but Air Raid (G1) used his super-sonic ability to bring out a Transformer's deepest fear, it warped Silverbolt's fear of heights (ironic for an Aerialbot) and forced him to land. The Aerialbots prevailed the fight, however, and as the Decepticons fled, Silverbolt combined them all to form Superion (G1), trying to stop the drill from absorbing all of the Hoover Dam's electricity.

Superion's reflex was to strike out and kill the human who held Megatron (G1) in his Gun Form, but Silverbolt stepped in and prevented him from doing so. He forced the Aerialbots to disassemble. The human fired Megatron's gun at the drill, winning the day for the Autobots.

Later, when Skids (G1) was transporting the human Donny Finkleberg home, Silverbolt and the Aerialbots were sent to do battle with the Stunticons (G1). :Silverbolt is an Autobot and an Aerialbot from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Silverbolt's character is defined by his extreme fear of hights and by his refusal to bow to it. He constantly struggles to project the image of a brave, determined soldier to hide his fear from others. Optimus Prime named him leader of the Aerialbots in the hopes that worring about them would give him something else to focus on besides his own phobia. This has proven true and, not surprisingly, the mature, responsible Silverbolt makes an excellent commander.

Fiction
Marvel Comics
The Aerialbots were created when Bumblebee filmed Devastator's combining sequence. Using the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, Optimus Prime gave the Aerialbots life. The leader, Silverbolt's alternate mode is that of a human transport airplane. After given life and during testing, Prime ordered them to stop the Decepticon assault on the Hoover Damn.

The fight went well, but Air Raid used his super-sonic ability to bring out a Transformer's deepest fear, it warped Silverbolt's fear of heights (ironic for an Aerialbot) and forced him to land. The Aerialbots prevailed the fight, however, and as the Decepticons fled, Silverbolt combined them all to form Superion, trying to stop the drill from absorbing all of the Hoover Dam's electricity.

Superion's reflex was to strike out and kill the human who held Megatron (G1) in his Gun Form, but Silverbolt stepped in and prevented him from doing so. He forced the Aerialbots to disassemble. The human fired Megatron's gun at the drill, winning the day for the Autobots.

Later, when Skids was transporting a human Donny Finkleberg home, Silverbolt and the Aerialbots were sent to do battle with the Stunticons. Both Combiners fused, creating Menasor and Superion. Circut Breaker fired upon Superion, however, crippling him heavily and leaving Menasor the victor.

"Pure, strong, and fast," Silverbolts sense of right and wrong is so overdeveloped his fellow Maximals wonder if his programming has a glitch. He speaks in platitudes that speak to chivalry, justice, and cheesy heroic ideals, and he has been known to give speeches that make even Optimus Primal roll his optics. His conviction is both his strength and his weakness. He sees the world in black and white.

The only gray area for Silverbolt is Blackarachnia. His fierce love for the "evil" Predacon causes him to question his preconceived notions of right and wrong. He was very proud of his ability to convert Blackarachnia to the Maximals, and, though most of the them are skeptical, he has nothing but faith for her.

Fiction
Beast Wars
Voice Actor: Scott McNeil (US), Mitsuo Iwata (Japan)
Silverbolt came from a fallen Stasis pod containing a Maximal Protoform after 'Aftermath'. The explosion caused by the Transwarp Explosion and the Vok Planet Buster sent all stasis pods Earth. The explosion fried the scanners, however, and the result was the Fuzors, one of which was Silverbolt.

Megatron, at first, recruited Silverbolt, but he felt so out of place being treacharous and cruel, he soon joined the Maximals. It was after this time when he fought off Blackarachnia, when Tarantulus was building his secret base. She was somewhat surprised by his complete refusal to strike her simply because she was a female model.

Soon, Silverbolt found himself reluctantly sneaking off to aide Blackarachnia in constructing a small starship out of the fallen Stasis Pod. Many of the Maximals suspected something was amiss (Only Rattrap truly knew exactly what he was doing, however). In The Agenda, Part 3, however, Megatron's powerscheme threatened to eradicate Blackarachnia, and the two came out about their affair to the Maximals. Blackarachnia defected to their side soon after.

Most of the time thereafter, Silverbolt stayed by Blackarachnia's side, more than happy that the subterfuge was over. He was extremely pleased when Blackarachnia was converted fully into a Maximal (and a Transmetal 2, as well).

Beast Machines
Voice Actor: Scott McNeil (US), Mitsuo Iwata (Japan)

When the Maximals found themselves back on Cybertron running for their lives from armies of Vehicon drones, their memories of their past had been tampered with. Even Blacharachnia could not remember Silverbolt fully until she hacked into the memory backup on their ship.

Blackarachnia began to suspect that Silverbolt's spark may be inside one of the Vehicon Generals. At first, she erroneously thought it was inside Thrust, but after a mishap with some technorganic goop, Silverbolt's spark was proven to be inside Jetstorm. For a precious few moments, Silverbolt's consciousness was completely awoken within Jetstorm's body, reverting to his old personality, until the goop was absorbed completely and Jetstorm's shell program reasserted itself.

Obsessed with bringing Silverbolt back, she hounded Jetstorm, demanding he remember their shared love and return to the Maximals. Needless to say, Jetstorm was annoyed by this. But when Rattrap created a gizmo that would help them transfer the stolen Transformer sparks into new bodies, Blackarachnia stole it. Leading Jetstorm into the planet's organic core, she attached the gizmo to his back and trapped the Vehicon in a pool of the technorganic goop with her webs. After much screaming, reformatting, and brilliant light, Silverbolt was reborn.

Counter to Blackarachnia's expectations, Silverbolt was not pleased. Gone was the Maximal who exemplified honor and chivalry, replaced with only a desire for retribution and vengeance. "I was a fool back then," he frowns, "I believed in things." Distraught, Blackarachnia managed to convince him to come along with her to help rescue Optimus Primal and Cheetor from inside Megatron's Big Floating Head, but Silverbolt did not accompany her for their friends -- he was not interested in them. He went to confront Megatron.

Megatron, seeing that his General had been reformatted into a Maximal, tried to seduce Silverbolt back to his side. Silverbolt was told he was a creature of honor who fought for just causes, and that Megatron gave Silverbolt not only a just cause (the technological purity of Cybertron), but also the power and strength to fight for that cause. Blackarachnia countered at every point, pleading with Silverbolt to remember their love and friendship. Silverbolt was not even paying attention to her, and finally answers Megatron bitterly: "You gave me nothing." Silverbolt, with nearly insane fury, let loose a volley of feather bombs, disrupting Megatron from within. Cheetor and Primal were rescued, and Silverbolt was dragged away from the battle.

Slightly calmed, Silverbolt was later approached by Blackarachnia. He confided in her the real reason for his anger. It was not what Megatron had done to him, but that he was freed from his code of honor and he enjoyed the experience. He did not trust himself any longer. This did not deter Blackarachnia. She believed, no matter what, that Silverbolt had goodness in his heart.

Among the fans, this transition for Silverbolt was distressing. Instead of the phrases of chivalry and honor, combined with his constant cheesy love-related sayings to Blackarachnia, Silverbolt was now a brittle, tormented character, almost a complete stand-in for Depth Charge.

One year after Cybertron's Great Reformatting, five great Autobot heroes (Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker, Shadow Striker, and Roulette) returned home to a peaceful planet. Amidst a media blitz and celebration, Silverbolt, Blackarachnia, Cheetor, and Rattrap were among the Maximals to greet them.

However, what appeared to be celebratory fireworks struck Silverbolt and Blackarachnia and also the five Autobots. They were transported to the firey Pit deep within Unicron, where all but Trailbreaker were rebuilt painfully into new bodies. Silverbolt was piece-by-piece reassembled into a version of his original Fuzor form.

Seeing an arena up ahead, the seven moved towards it, only to be attacked by a swarm of shape-shifting lava-like creatures. Silverbolt and the others were overwhelmed and taken into the arena (or, the Chauldron), where they were caged along with a multitude of Transformers kidnapped from across the multiverse.

During this time Blacharachnia was corrupted by Unicron to become one of his warriors. Silverbolt vowed to bring her back to the light again as she has done for him.

When the whole place went to pot after the formation of the Unicron singularity,Sliverbolt escaped with the rest of the prisoners, taking Blacharachnia with him. Presumably they returned to their own time and universe.
Silverbolt is a Maximal in the Beast Era.

In The Agenda, however, Megatron's powerscheme threatened to eradicate Blackarachnia, and the two came out about their affair to the Maximals.
