&#039;&#039;&#039;Scientists&#039;&#039;&#039; defeat their enemies with &#039;&#039;science.&#039;&#039; To that end, they use a variety of support weapons and abilities and can repair teammates. Scientists are the only class that can see their teammate&#039;s life bars. They can also transform into jets and attack with guided missiles.&lt;br /&gt;

Scientists can equip two of these four weapons:&lt;br /&gt;

*[[EMP shotgun]]&lt;br /&gt;
They use energon clubs in melee and carry [[Energon grenade|Energon grenades]].&lt;br /&gt;

===Abilities===&lt;br /&gt;
Scientists can eventually choose two from four different abilities:&lt;br /&gt;
*Shockwave: Issue an area-wide force-bubble that pushes enemies back and causes damage.&lt;br /&gt;
*Spawn Sentry: Create an automatic hovering gun that can spot cloaked guys. Its life will continuously drain, but it can be healed with a Repair Ray.&lt;br /&gt;
*Drain: Siphon health from enemies.&lt;br /&gt;
*Disguise: [[Redeco]] yourself so you appear as an ally to your enemies. You will be revealed if the enemy targets you.&lt;br /&gt;
Vehicle mode:&lt;br /&gt;
*Barrel roll: A quick movement to either side, enabling evasion of enemy attacks. DO IT.&lt;br /&gt;

===Upgrades===&lt;br /&gt;
Scientists can eventually choose up to three upgrades to augment their abilities:&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

*Energon Storm: Increases damage of Shockwave. (Level 1)&lt;br /&gt;

*Repair Sentry: Sentries repair allies. (Level 10)&lt;br /&gt;
*Friendly Fire: Increases damage after losing disguise. (Level 17)&lt;br /&gt;
*Repulsion Amplifier: Increases Shockwave radius. (Level 23)&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;&#039;&#039;Second Tier&#039;&#039;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
*Battle Medic: Reduces damage taken while using Repair Ray. (Level 2)&lt;br /&gt;
*Sentry Armor: Increases Sentry armor. (Level 3)&lt;br /&gt;
*Master of Disguise: Disguise remains active even when shot. (Level 8)&lt;br /&gt;
*Energon Optimization: Increases Repair Ray healing rate. (Level 13)&lt;br /&gt;
*Leech: Increases healing rate of Drain. (Level 19)&lt;br /&gt;
*Sentry Power Core: Increases Sentry power. (Level 24)&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;&#039;&#039;Third Tier&#039;&#039;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
*Weapon Stabilizer: Reduces weapon kickback. (Level 6)&lt;br /&gt;
*Sanctuary: Increases Energon Grenade duration. (Level 6)&lt;br /&gt;
*Blaster Amplifier: Carry two extra ammo clips. (Level 9)&lt;br /&gt;
*First Aid: Decreases health regeneration delay. (Level 15)&lt;br /&gt;
*Explosive Capacitor: Carry one extra grenade. (Level 21)&lt;br /&gt;
*Rapid Recharge: Reduces ability recharge time. (Level 25)&lt;br /&gt;

===Killstreaks===&lt;br /&gt;
After killing enough guys without dying, every class can use special abilities. The scientists&#039; are:&lt;br /&gt;
*Health Matrix 2.0 (3 kills): Teammates receive health for every kill.&lt;br /&gt;
*Overshield Matrix (5 kills): Teammates receive overshields.&lt;br /&gt;
*Nucleon Shock Cannon (7 kills): Spawns a Rocket Turret.&lt;br /&gt;
