Sky Garry (su-ka-i gya-rī, スカイギャリー) is Star Convoy's right-hand man through-out the bulk of the Battlestars series. He has a great respect for the legendary Autobot Supreme Commander and was the one who brought Star Convoy back from the dead. Kinda creepy.
Battlestars manga and story pages
To counter the threat of Dark Nova, the Autobots formed an elite sub-group known as the Battlestars. Their mission was to revive Optimus Prime so that he might thwart Dark Nova. Sky Garry received the Zodiac from Dai Atlas and was inaugerated as temporary Autobot Supreme Commander, at least until Prime was one his feet again.

Aware of the mission of the Battlestars, Dark Nova brought Optimus Prime's body back to life without a spark as the evil False Convoy. After False Convoy's defeat, Sky Garry rescued the fallen Supreme Commander's corpse from the Great Novaroid forces. Using the power of the Zodiac, Sky Garry brought Optimus Prime back to life and upgraded him into Star Convoy.

Along with Grandus, the trio fought against the newly resurrected Super Megatron and his Great Galaman warriors. At the finale of the series, Star Convoy, Sky Garry and Grandus traveled inside the body of Star Giant and tore the all-powerful monster to pieces from the inside out. They managed to escape the villain just as he exploded, killing Dark Nova for good... though the portion of Star Giant that was composed of Megatron flew free, allowing the Decepticon leader to survive and haunt his rival again.
: Sky Garry transforms into a Cybertronic starship with landing skids. His middle section is expandible, allowing him to carry up to three Micro Trailers. He also has a third "base tower" mode. He came with the Micromaster Shotbomber.

Trivia
* Sky Garry's mold was redecoed into the evil "Death Garrygun" mecha for Takara's Brave of Gold Goldran series. This version came with three carriers, but all of the launching mechanisms were removed from them.
* General concensus is that Sky Garry's name is a misspelling of "Sky Carry", which may be an intentional pun.
* Sky Garry is one of the most commonly bootlegged Transformers, appearing in any number of colors and sizes.

Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger is the 3rd part of Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers, a theatrical movie in Japan.

Story
Above the Planet Gaia, where Leo Prime and his Maximals are fighting the Beast Wars against Galvatron and his Predacons, a strange ship appears. It disrupts a battle between the Jointrons and the Seacons, crash-landing on the planet.

The ship was created long ago by a race of technologically-advanced creatures. Within the ship is a device that can control space-time and pluck living creatures from any point in history. Needless to say, Galvatron wants it pretty bad. Leo Prime sends Lio Junior to protect the ship from the Predacons until reinforcements can arrive. However, due to his inexperience, he is trounced by Hellscream and Max-B. The Predacons use the device to summon-forth Majin Zarak, a titanic battleship Transformer from the past who is virtually indestructible.

Wanting to make ammends and prove his maturity, Lio Junior combines with Santon and Skywarp, forming Magnaboss. He valiantly fights the Predacons away from the ship and uses the very last of his power and strength to summon an alley with the time-space machine.

On the battle field, the Maximals are getting trashed by the might of Majin Zarak. However, Majin Zarak eventually tires of Galvatron's orders and the incompetence of the Predacons. He tosses them out, proving to have a sentient intelligence he hadn't displayed before. Majin Zarak goes wild and all hope seems lost.

Then, suddenly, Optimus Primal appears. Everyone is surprised to see him, as the Maximals had thought Optimus Primal and his crew dead. Primal and Leo Prime team-up and keep Majin Zarak occupied while the rest of the Maximals try to figure out his weakness. After a bit of research, they discover that the third eye on his forehead is where all his nerve-endings are clustered. The only way to defeat Majin Zarak is to strike there, and strike hard!

Optimus Primal and Leo Prime use the power of their Energon Matrices to transform themselves into Flash Lio Convoy and Burning Convoy. They deliver a healthy bit of damage to Majin Zarak before unleashing the power of their Matrices and combine the energy into the "Double Matrix Blast". The powerful attack pierces Majin Zarak's eye, killing him on the spot.

The battle won, Leo Prime and the Maximals ask Optimus Primal to stay with them. However, he declines as he wishes to continue fighting his own Beast Wars on prehistoric Earth. Optimus Primal returns home using the device on the space ship. After he leaves, the Maximals then destroy the machine so that it can never be used again.
First Lieutenant Jazz is one happy-go-lucky Autobot. Good-natured and always able to take things in his stride, he provides a decent contrast to the more serious demeanour of Ironhide or Prime himself. He's also a talker, something Ironhide and Prime like to tease him about. He might be the smallest autobot but he's by no means a coward. His only real complaint is that he gets stuck fighting the small ones.
:Jazz transforms into a silver Pontiac Solstice Custom Hardtop. Included is a blaster weapon that elongates into a sniper rifle, which may also be clipped directly onto his rear spoiler when in vehicle mode. In robot mode, the section featuring this same rear spoiler may be kept folded onto his back or worn on either shoulder as a shield. An interesting undocumented feature is a hinge joint located on the bottom of the rifle can attach to the shield's hinge joint, creating three choice weapon configurations: a) a mounted long range surface-to-air sniper rifle, b) an ambidextrous shoulder-mounted canon, or c) a short range blaster with built-in shield somewhat akin to what has been seen in Jazz's concept art and in the movie itself.

: As with most of the mainline toys, he features a Automorphing gimmick that is activated by pushing the car roof down onto his back and locking it into place. This raises his head and slides his chest panels into proper position for the robot mode. This feature, like the weaponry mentioned above, is not documented at all, so one must be careful to not press the chest and the back at the same time.

: A much smaller version of the character, Legends Jazz features limited articulation and detail, along with a much simpler transformation. A rather glaring side-effect of this transformation and a desire to mimic the hood chest of the larger toy is the addition of a second front bumper on the roof of his alt-mode. If this means Jazz also includes a second engine to go with this front bumper or an attempt at compensation for a case of police bar envy is unknown.
