:''Dinobot 2 is a [[Predacon (BW)|Predacon]] from the [[Beast Wars]] portion of the [[Generation 1]] [[continuity family]].''

[[Image:Dinobot2-postcard.jpg|right|thumb|300px|Braiiiiiiins... honor... braaaaaaaaaaaains...]]

A shambling, slavering Frankenstein monster of [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron's]] creation, '''Dinobot 2''' is an attempt to recreate the [[Maximal]] [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]] without all that cumbersome honor. Powerful, vicious, and most importantly, loyal, Dinobot 2 is a living weapon to be aimed and released in the Maximals' direction.

==Fiction==
===Animated continuity===
====Beast Wars====
:''Voice actor:'' [[Scott McNeil]] (English), ??? (Japanese)

Created by combining a [[protoform]], cloned cells from the original Dinobot, a part of [[Rampage (BW)|Rampage's]] [[spark]], and the energy from the [[Transmetal Driver]] Dinobot 2 became a fierce warrior for Megatron. Gifted with powerful abilities (instant healing and most of Dinobot's warrior skills) Dinobot 2 was used for hunting [[Maximal]]s like [[Depth Charge]] and [[Blackarachnia]]. Because he had a piece of Rampage's spark, a fact that sometimes confused Depth Charge's sensors, Dinobot 2 was able to squeeze it and keep the powerful transmetal in line.

His most important moments came at the very end of the Beast Wars. After Rampage was destroyed by Depth Charge, something happened to Dinobot 2. Somehow the memories of the original Dinobot flooded into his frame, and more importantly, Dinobot's code of honor came along with them. Unable to shake off these memories and what they signified, Dinobot 2 betrayed Megatron, and refused to assist in the destruction of a village of protohumans using the [[Nemesis]]. More importantly, he sent information about an [[Autobot]] shuttle to the Maximals aboard the [[Ark]]. The Maximals were able to use the shuttle to stop Megatron from destroying the Ark and ruining the future. Refusing to leave the Nemesis as it crashed, Dinobot 2 died a hero just as the original did.

:''('''Note''': The resurgence of the original Dinobot's memories in Dinobot 2 make more sense in the context of the unproduced episode of Beast Wars, "[[Dark Glass]]". In this episode Rattrap would have discovered and downloaded the memories into Dinobot 2, but the episode never made it past a first draft.)''

===Dreamwave comics continuity===
====Summer Special====

Dinobot 2 attacked [[Rattrap]], tearing him out of the crawler vehicle he was testing. Rattrap's attempts to reason with the remnants of his old friend failed, and the twisted clone prepared to toss him off a cliff. But before he could finish off the Maximal, [[Bonecrusher (BW)|Bonecrusher]] rammed him, sending both the clone and the crawler tumbling off the cliff.

[[Image:Megatronbw.jpg|right|thumb|250px|Next person to make a Barney joke gets this tail/weapon shoved deep somewhere uncomfortable. Yessssss.]]

'''Megatron''' has one goal -- restoring glory and power to the Predacon race, with himself at the helm. What distinguishes Megatron from the countless others who share this goal at various volumes is his chutzpah. He is willing to risk everything -- time, space, himself -- if need be.

Megatron is skillful at orchestrating vast schemes by manipulating others into doing them for him -- an idle suggestion here, a conspicuously-planted object of interest there. He knows his enemies inside and out and exactly how to provoke them. He has no friends, only pawns. Because of this attitude, this superiority complex, he despises working with the very troops he needs to carry out his plans. His hubris does not make him very popular, and so he must rely on power and fear to rule them.

Megatron is a gambler and can sometimes be a ham. (His manner of saying "Yesss..." is practically vaudevillian.) He has a twisted sense of humor and an over-developed sense of drama which rule everything he conceives, both long and short term. When he destroys you, he wants you to know that it was he who did this, and just how badly you were had. This is his greatest weakness. Like a Bond villain, he'll gladly boast to the hero at length about how smart and clever he was, giving his victim time to formulate a counterattack (he admits the Pedacons sometimes gloat too much). He often sabotages himself by neglecting the quick and easy solutions for the bigger, meaner, and more complex.

Prior to the signing of the [[Pax Cybertronia]], Megatron was a field commander in the Predacon army, where he learned much about strategy and tactics. Upon ratification of peace with the [[Maximal Imperium]] most Predacons laid down their arms. Megatron refused and went rogue.
On planet [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], Megatron once disagreed with [[Galvatron (BWII)|Galvatron]] over opinions on galactic conquest, and engaged him in battle over it. At the time, Megatron momentarily let his guard down, and was defeated. Galvatron declared "Your era is over, Megatron!"

Later, Megatron noted that while Galvatron was ambitious, he cared for his underlings - and although he was loathe to admit it, he acknowledged that Galvatron probably had all the regal bearing of a new [[Emperor of Destruction]]. {{storylink|Beast Wars II catalog}}
====Dreamwave comics continuity====
After stealing the [[Golden Disk]] ''(wrongly drawn as the [[Alien Disk]])'', Megatron broke into [[Vector Sigma]] along with [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]] and reviewed historical files on many of the Autobots and Decepticons from the [[Generation 1]] era.  He told Dinobot to refer to him henceforth as Megatron.  {{storylink|Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye #8}}
[[Image:Megatronbwsuit.jpg|thumb|150px|Megatron's technicolor dreamcoat.]]
On Cybertron, Megatron wore removeable transformable armor, which transformed into a missile-launching armored platform, over his basic bodyframe (which transforms into a hovertank). This quickly-discarded outer shell was possibly used to comply with the ratification of the [[Pax Cybertronia]], which required Predacons to lay down their arms. A Predacon field commander before the peace, Megatron refused to comply with these new regulations and struck out on his own to destroy the [[Maximal Imperium]].

With some [[Cryotek|help]] from [[Divebomb (G1)|various sources]], he assembled a crew of ragtag criminals and miscreants for the purpose of stealing the Golden Disk and using it to find [[Earth]]. Succeeding in stealing the disk, he, [[Dinobot (BW)|his lieutenant]], and [[Scorponok (BW)|another accomplice]] fought their way out of the [[Archives]], eliminating [[Unit 1|one guard]] and dodging [[Tigatron|another]]. They were swiftly picked up by the ''[[Darksyde]]'', a ship stolen by the rest of their crew.

Megatron instructed [[Tarantulas]] to study the disk for the coordinates of Earth while the ''Darkside'' battled its several pursuers.  Although they were followed by the Maximal ships [[Axalon (BW)|''Axalon'']] and the ''[[Chromia 10]]'', the ''Darksyde''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s mission was also aided by a third ship crewed by the Predacon agents [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] and [[Buzzsaw (G1)|Buzzsaw]].  Though the ''Chromia 10'' and the Predacon ship were destroyed, the ''Darksyde'' was still followed by the ''Axalon''.  Megatron removed his transformable armor and patched a video feed through to the ''Axalon'''s captain, [[Optimus Primal]].  Declaring himself the leader of the Predacons, Megatron opened a [[transwarp]] portal through which both ships travelled. {{storylink|Dawn of Future's Past}}
After stealing the Maximal relic, the [[Golden Disk]], and [[Darksyde|a ship]], he and his crew were followed through a [[transwarp]] portal by the [[Axalon (BW)|''Axalon'']]. After crashing on a planet that was supposed to be [[Earth]], yet seemingly wasn't, both the Maximals and the Predacons took organic beast forms to protect themselves against the massive amount of Energon radiation. Megatron now transformed into a purple ''Tyrannosaurus rex''.

Dinobot chastised Megatron, accusing him of leading the Predacons to the wrong planet and challenged Megatron for leadership of the Predacons. Megatron simply ignored the challenge and had Scorponok dispose of him. {{storylink|Beast Wars, Part 1}}

Despite the loss of a formidable crony, Megatron positioned himself on the new world and the "Beast Wars" began.  Being on a world filled with Energon allowed [[Terrorsaur (BW)|Terrorsaur]] to find a superhorde, and power himself to great levels. With this power, Terrorsaur was able to demolish Megatron in battle and take over the Predacons. However, through the Maximals' actions, the superhorde was destroyed. Terrorsaur was eventually ridden of his newfound power and returned to an angered Megatron, who was rebuilt by [[Scorponok (BW)|Scorponok]]. {{storylink|Power Surge}}

[[Image:Megatronbwtrex.jpg|150px|thumb|Ah, today is a beautiful day to be out stomping on things!]]
Again, Terrorsaur tried to usurp Megatron, this time using an apparently-turned [[Rattrap]], who used a device to paralyze Megatron. The Predacons argued over who would be leader, but agreed to put Rattrap and Megatron away for the time being. Megatron was able to easily escape using his secret vioce commands, leaving Rattrap to his fate. Revealing himself to have escaped, Megatron allowed Terrorsaur to lead the Predacons in battle with the Maximals. Terrorsaur failed miserably, showing his ineptitude to the Predacons, which was Megatron's plan all along. {{storylink|Double Jeopardy}}

Megatron later formulated a plan to get off Earth. First, he had the other Predacons act dissatisfied with his leadership, causing a battle that apaprently destroyed the Predacons, using a Maximal spy camera that he was aware of to play out the trick. Then, the Maximals scavenged the ''Darksyde'' for parts to repair the ''Axalon''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s stardrive. Dinobot discovered the deception and rushed to warn the leaving Maximals. In the scuffle, Megatron snuck aboard. In the ''Axalon'', he managed to knock out every Maximal on the ship but Rattrap, who he started crushing to death. An angered [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]] woke up and threw Megatron off the ''Axalon''. However, Megatron's tail weapon was stuck in the console, causing the ''Axalon'' to crash. Again. {{storylink|Victory (Beast Wars episode)|Victory}}

Later, Megatron caught wind of the return of the [[Vok]] and called a ceasefire between the two factions, realising he had more important things to worry about.  The Vok did indeed return, and planned to destroy the planet the Transformers were on with their massive [[Planet Buster]] (cleverly disguised as the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]]).  Optimus Primal managed to stop the planet buster after flying close to it within a modified stasis pod.  Megatron added a little surprise for Primal within the pod, though; locking the door so that Primal could not escape and was destroyed when the planet buster exploded. {{storylink|Other Voices}}

The [[quantum surge]] from the exploding planet buster bathed Megatron in quantum energies, upgrading him into a [[transmetal]].  Megatron quickly rallied his forces and attempted an all-out attack on the leader-less Maximals.  Megatron and the Predacons took the upperhand in battle until a transmetal Optimus Primal (brought back online by [[Rhinox]]) saved the day. {{storylink|Coming of the Fuzors, Part 1}}

With both factions now aware that the planet they were stranded on was really prehistoric [[Earth]], Megatron was free to put his full plan into motion.  Locating the crashed [[Ark]], Megatron attempted to alter history by assassinating the unconscious [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]].  By doing so, he would presumably ensure the defeat of the [[Autobot]]s and thus the victory of the [[Decepticon]]s and Predacons.  {{storylink|The Agenda, Part 3}}

The Maximals managed to save Prime's life by having [[Teletraan-1]] repair his body while Optimus Primal kept his spark within his own structure, transforming his body into a more powerful form. The Maximals defeated Megatron and returned Prime's spark to its proper place. {{storylink|Optimal Situation}}

[[Image:Megatrontm2render.jpg|left|thumb|250px|Two Megatrons for the price of one.]]

Megatron was not to be outdone.  He managed to sneak inside the Ark (which was now the new Maximal base) and take the spark of the original Megatron, seeking to replicate the effect Optimus Prime's spark had on Primal's body.  He placed his namesake's spark within his body, transforming himself into a powerful dragon. With this newfound body, Megatron was able to give Optimus Primal a sound beating, until chased away by the entire Maimal group. {{Storylink|Master Blaster}}

Megatron's next evil scheme involved the legendary Decepticon battleship, the [[Nemesis (G1)|Nemesis]]. After finding the ship deep beneath the ocean, Megatron intended to pilot it back to the future and lay waste to the Maximals on Cybertron. {{storylink|Nemesis, Part 1}} First, however, he planned to annihilate the Ark on prehistoric Earth. Primal infiltrated the Nemesis and kept Megatron busy until Rhinox could fly a shuttlecraft through the bridge and take the Predacon out. The Nemesis crashed a second time and thus preserved history.

After returning the original Megatron's spark to its proper body, the Maximals headed back to Cybertron with the incarcerated Megatron shackled to the outside of their ship. {{Storylink|Nemesis, Part 2}}
Taking advantage of the [[Blasty Zone]] as a means of time travel (and apparently size-enhancer), Megatron journeyed to a point in history where the orignal Megatron had gone missing, leaving the [[Decepticon]]s without a leader. "Beast Megatron" took command of the Decepticons, leading them on a quest to collect a powerful element, [[solitarium]], from within the Earth. Beast Megatron's plans were quickly thwarted by [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] and a troop of time-displaced Autobots and Maximals, including [[Star Saber (G1)|Star Saber]], [[Victory Leo]], [[Leo Prime]] and Beast Megatron's arch nemesis, [[Optimus Primal]].

Beast Megatron later discovered a large deposit of solitarium beneath [[New York City]], and along with [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]], [[Smokesniper]], [[Gigant Bomb]] and [[Wingstun]], laid waste to the Big Apple. The Autobots, accompanied by [[Reverse Convoy]], arrived and dealt with Beast Megatron's forces quickly. However, Reverse Convoy revealed himself to be the original Megatron in disguise and betrayed them. Now going by the name [[Megatron (G1)#Robot Masters (Japan-only)|Rebirth Megatron]], he teamed up with Beast Megatron and the pair made trouble for the Autobot commanders. However, the Autobots were able to defeat the two Megatrons, sending the villains into retreat.
Although Megatron kicked Magmatron's ass, he was ambushed and paralyzed by [[Iguanus (BW)|Iguanus]] and [[Drill Bit (BW)|Drill Bit]]. Magmatron intended to use a [[transwarp shunt]] to transport his prisoner back to [[Cybertron]]. {{storylink|The Gathering, Part 3}} Thanks to the intervention of [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]], [[Optimus Minor]], and [[Razorbeast]], Magmatron was sent home empty-handed.
[[Image:Megatron for life.jpg|right|thumb|Whaddya mean, 'Triumph of the Will'?]]Breaking free from his constraints on the Autobot shuttle while it travelled through transwarp space, Megatron arrived back home on Cybertron well before the Maximals did. Using technology of his own devising and of [[Cryotek]]'s, he took over the entire planet, and stored the [[spark]] of every last inhabitant under his citadel.

When the Maximals arrived in their shuttle, they found the planet empty aside from countless [[Vehicon|mindless drones]] controlled by Megatron. Megatron's drones immediately bombarded the Maximals with [[devolving gas]] to revert their powerful [[Transmetal]] bodies to normal beast mode bodies, and they were also affected by a [[transformation lock]] virus which Megatron had used to help him conquer the planet in the first place.

Despite his best efforts, the Maximals escaped, and learned to transform again after Primal used the [[Oracle]]'s power to [[reformatting|reformat]] them. They began making short work of his Vehicons, so he removed three sparks from his collection to create [[Vehicon general]]s which could think on their feet in battle. For the generals he chose sparks of Transformers that the Maximals already knew, such that if they ever discovered the sparks' identities, they would be reluctant to destroy them: [[Silverbolt (Fuzor)|Silverbolt]] became [[Jetstorm (BM)|Jetstorm]], [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]] became [[Tankor]], and [[Waspinator]] became [[Thrust (BM)|Thrust]].

Ultimately, Megatron succeeded in capturing the sparks of all the Maximals, leaving just Optimus Primal and himself as the only two Transformers on the entire planet. At the end of a fierce one-on-one fight, in which Megatron wore a copy of the powerful Optimal Optimus body, Megatron began consuming his amassed sparks, growing ever more powerful. However, when he attempted to use the [[Key to Vector Sigma]] to transform the planet's [[organic core]] into [[technomatter]], Primal managed to dislodge them both. They plummeted into the planet's goopy core and, somehow, Primal was able to reformat the entire planet, destroying himself and Megatron completely, but freeing all the lost sparks to repopulate their newly redecorated planet.

====''Universe''====
When [[Optimus Primal (BW)|Optimus Primal]]'s spark is retrieved from the core of [[Cybertron]] to protect the multiverse, this action freed Megatron's spark as well. The reborn Megatron returned to the ranks of the Predacons, but this time, Optimus Primal found himself in an uneasy alliance with him against Unicron. Megatron travelled with his old nemesis from universe to universe, wherever the growing multiversal conflict had spread. But now with Unicron disappeared into the [[Unicron Singularity]], it remains to be seen whether Megatron's insane ambition will resurface.

Prior to the Universe Conflict an alternate dimension's Megatron was killed by a [[Razorclaw (Universe)|Tigerhawk]] who was corrupted by the Vok. Yet another dimension's Megatron was killed by it's realities [[Obsidian (Universe)|Obsidian]] and [[Tankor (Universe Decepticon)|Tankor]]. All three Megatron-murderers were eventualy promoted to the rank of [[Unicron's General]]. It seems that killing Megatron may be part of Unicron's criteria for choosing a General.
: The final version of Megatron transformed into a mostly mechanical dragon. Two projectiles stored in his wings can be fired from a spring-loaded launcher inside his dragon's mouth. Additionally, another launcher is available above his helmet. His chest is dominated by a small cockpit with a control chair inside (see Trivia). Megatron's dragon neck and head replaces his left arm, the neck being made of a rubbery material with vacuum metalised overlapping plates attached on top. The neck was flexible able to be controlled and locked into position by a small lever located at its base.

: ''Transmetal 2'' Megatron has a third 'vehicle' mode, which appears to be an afterthought, as it basically involves the dragon sitting very low to the ground so the wheels mounted on the legs and body can make contact and roll.
: For the 10th Anniversary of ''Beast Wars'', [[Hasbro]] created an all-new Deluxe-size tooling based mostly upon his original 1996 Tyrannosaurus form, but with technorganic detailing. When a [[Cyber Planet Key]] is inserted into his tail, it opens up to reveal a missile launcher.

On its packaging, "Predacon" is misspelled as "Preadacon," but a sticker was placed over it with the proper spelling.

:This mold was [[redeco]]ed and released as [[Cybertron (toyline)|''Cybertron'']] [[Megatron_(Armada)|Megatron]]. It's worth noting that the scuplt for both BW10 leader toys were intentionally designed to blend in with the Jungle Planet aesthetic, "in case" they didn't get a Beast Wars Anniversary release (according to [[Aaron Archer]]'s statements at [[BotCon 2005]]).
: For the 10th Anniversary of ''Beast Wars'', [[Takara]] retooled the original 1996 Ultra-sized Megatron toy, giving him a new head sculpt and a new paint scheme based upon the appearance of the CGI model used in the ''Beast Wars'' television series.

: The 1996 Ultra-sized Optimus Primal was also retooled and redecoed in the same manner.
[[Image:BWRConcept35.jpg|right|170px|thumb|TM2 Megatron's control art. Look! Spark figure! Painful amounts of detail!]]

*Originally, ''Transmetal 2'' Megatron, along with [[Optimus_Primal|Optimal Optimus]] and [[Tigerhawk_(BW)|Tigerhawk]] were to have small driver-like figures sitting on control chairs located in cockpits on their bodies. These drivers were meant to represent their sparks. But [[Hasbro]] then later realized that kids might confuse these spark representations as drivers controlling the robots, so they were abandoned, but the cockpits remain.
: However, the spark pilot was eventually used in the japanese release of [[Cryotek]].

*The Japanese dub of Beast Wars chose to interject humor at every available opportunity. Due to this, Megatron's personality and character were taken on a complete U-turn. Instead of being a smooth and charismatic leader, he was a screaming maniac and a bumbling oaf. His most notable character-trait in Japan was that whenever he was fired-upon or startled he would let-out a high-pitched shriek like a '''little girl'''.''

*Megatron's initial basic Beast Wars toy is a [[retool]] of [[Iguanus (BW)|Iguanus]] with new alligator and robot heads, and no frill. The screw hole for the frill bracket remains. Both toys were released at roughly the same time.
In the end Emirate Xeon got in over his head and lost it, litterally.''
Dualor was captured alongside his fellow residents when [[Cyclonus (Armada)|Cyclonus]] broke through the village's defenses.

When Megatron took over Cyber City, he took a peak in one of the Mini-Con containers. Dualor (along with Buzzsaw and Blackout) looked up, and Dualor begged him that the Mini-Cons would do anything so long as Megatron didn't harm them. Two seconds later the Mini-Con escape ship blasted off, leaving Dualor trapped with Megatron along with the other handful of Mini-Cons the Decepticons had brought with them. {{Storylink|Dreamwave Armada issue 2|Armada #2|float-right}}
The leader of the [[Destruction Mini-Con Team]], '''Dualor''' might very well be one of the most dangerous Mini-Cons ever. Not so much for his physical attributes, which are admittedly impressive. But Dualor is a ''staunch'' believer in Mini-Con independance, loathing all "[[bulk]]s", be they [[Decepticon]] or [[Autobot]]. He will lie, coerce, bully, and flat-out kidnap others into his cause. And there is nothing he's not willing to sacrifice... even other Mini-Cons, whether they signed up for his vision of how things should be or not. If innocents must suffer and die for his cause, well, so be it.

People like this need watching. Perferably from a distance, behind a barrier of some kind.

====Armada====
Prior to the war, Dualor was a resident of [[Mini-con Village C52]].  Dualor always longed to assert himself, but [[Rollbar (Armada)|Rollbar's]] level-headed leadership never gave him a chance.<ref>Dualor's MtMtE entry, and a flashback to [[Dreamwave Armada issue 10|Armada #10]]</ref> {{Storylink|Dreamwave Armada issue 10|Armada#10|float=right}}

Dualor was captured alongside his fellow residents when [[Cyclonus (Armada)|Cyclonus]] broke through the village's defenses.

When Megatron took over Cyber City, he took a peak in one of the Mini-Con containers. Dualor (along with Buzzsaw and Blackout) looked up, and Dualor begged him that the Mini-Cons would do anything so long as Megatron didn't harm them. {{Storylink|Dreamwave Armada issue 2|Armada #2|float-right}}

After their escape craft crashed on Earth's [[Moon (moon)|moon]], Dualor (who MAGICALLY changed places!) finally found himself in the position of responsibility he'd long craved, founding the [[Mini-Con Militia]] and building the concealed [[Mini-con Fortress Base]], using the constant threat of future Decepticon aggression to build a stable, regimented society which he rules with his fellow members of the [[Destruction Mini-Con Team|Destruction Team]] [[Buzzsaw (Armada)|Buzzsaw]] and [[Drill Bit (Armada)|Drillbit]]

{{Storylink|Armada (Dreamwave comic)#Volume_2:_Fortress|Fortress|float=right}}
When the Mini-Cons on Earth awakened one million years later, Dualor was prepared to take drastic action to de-escalate the situation. He sent an [[Mini-con Ark|Ark]] to Earth, involuntarily drawing many of the planet's Mini-cons to him via an override signal.

The moon base is prepared for any possible Decepticon invasion, with massive ammunition stockpiles. The Mini-Con militia is less keen on the idea of fighting the Autobots (Buzz Saw even admired Optimus Prime,) nut Dualor fears that they have grown too dependent on Mini-Con augmentation to be trusted> He secretly places the Autobots' human ally [[Rad White|Rad]] (who had stowed away on the Ark) in an orbital mine to dissuade [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus Prime's]] approach.

[[Leader-1|Leader-1]] subsequently attacked Dualor and his teammates in order to take over the Fortress' control center in a bid to destroy [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]]. The attempt was unsuccessful, but resulted in the incapacitated Destruction Team falling into Megatron's clutches.

{{Storylink|Fire & Ice|float=right}}
Megatron discovers the Destruction Team has installed a [[feedback failsafe]] to prevent them from being used against their will again, but Dualor is willing to make a deal; they'll give Megatron pure unfettered power with no afterburn in exchange for a bigger say in what's going on around here. Megatron accepts, and then designates that Cyclonus will be using the powerup, instead of him.

Predictably, Dualor lied. The Destruction team channels too much energy into Cyclonus, causing him to overhead and go crazy(er) while on a million to [[Alaska]]. For this MEgatron consigns them to the [[Punishment Cube]], used for disciplining naughty Mini-Cons.

{{Storylink|The End|Armada#18|float=right}}
Dualor and his teammates Buzz Saw and Drill Bit wre not among the Decepticon Mini-Cons released for the final battle with [[Unicron]]. Megatron is vague on their fate, simply saying that they are "better off without them." ''None of the Destruction Team were ever seen again.''

: Dualor transforms into an anti-aircraft tank similar to a Gepard. He features a gear-wheel system that causes his tank-mode cannons to pom-pom back and forth when he is rolled in vehicle mode. He can also be attached to the underside of the ''Armada'' Cyclonus mold, interacting with the Decepticon’s gear-wheel rotor system.

Each of the Destruction Team Mini-Cons could come packaged with either [[Blurr (Armada)|Blurr]] or [[Sideways]].
==Synopsis==
Both the Autobots and Decepticons are frantic to figure out what happened to the Mini-Cons. Prime, as always, has the answer: they've gone to the Moon. Sparkplug told him that when they fled Cybertron, their ship crashed into the Moon and broke in two, with only a small part of it falling to Earth. Up on the Moon, the captured mini-Cons sit behind a forcefield in a holding cell, wondering who brought them. Leader-1 speculates that they've been deliberately removed from the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons because, as the sum total of Earthbound Mini-Cons, they represent the catalyst for the entire war. Their questions are answered soon, however, with the arrival of the Destruction Team, led by Dualor. He had them locked up because he wasn't sure how they'd react after being forced off of Earth. He leads Sparkplug, Leader-1, and Runway throughout the massive base that they've been constructing for the last million years. He explains that they've long been preparing for the eventuality that the Decepticons would come after them, and that their base is thoroughly defended. They too received the signal that emenated from Earth when Rad awoke Sparkplug and the Street Action Team, but Dualor confesses that he hesitated in bringing them back, thus allowing the war to begin anew. Sparkplug asks him what the difference between them and the Decepticon is, as both groups took them against their will. Dualor responds, "if you can't see the difference between this and living at Optimus Prime's beck and call, or being Megatron's slave, then you've been brainwashed more thoroughly than I realized."
Back at Silver Ridge, Thrust arrives from Cybertron through a space bridge portal, carrying a pair of thrusters for Megatron. The Decepticons take off into space, leaving Demolisher behind to guard their base. They soon arrive at the Moon, where they run into the considerable defenses that the Mini-Cons have employed: floating mine fields, missile launchers, and auto-turrets all do their work, grounding the Decepticon attackers. Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, Optimus Prime watches via Laserbeak as Hot Shot and Red Alert break into the Decepticon base, his finger hovering over the button that will activate a space bridge portal of their own.
Back on the Moon, Sparkplug asks if they'll be safe. Dualor asures them that they're completely covered by moonrock, reinforced tritanium, and forcefields, and that the Decepticons will never be able to break through. His words prove true, and the Decepticons fall back and regroup. Drill Bit wonders if they'll show the same gusto in fighting off the Autobots, and Dualor responds that they've got a trump card: Rad has been strapped into one of the mines!

==Errors==
*Leader-1 mentions that the sum total of Mini-Cons on Earth are present on the moon prison, yet [[Liftor]] and [[Rollbar (Armada)|Rollbar]] are absent.
*Dualor, Drill Bit and Buzzsaw are shown to be in charge of the Mini-Con moon base, but in the second issue of the series, they were still captives of Megatron when the other Mini-Cons escaped Cybertron.

==Errors==
*Leader-1 mentions that the sum total of Mini-Cons on Earth are present on the moon prison, yet [[Liftor]] and [[Rollbar (Armada)|Rollbar]] are absent.
*Dualor, Drillbit and Buzzsaw are shown to be in charge of the Mini-Con moon base, but in the second issue of the series, they were still captives of Megatron when the other Mini-Cons escaped Cybertron.
==Synopsis==

Megatron tries to force more power out of Leader-1, but the Mini-Con tells him that their powers are not limitless. Megatron announces that if he cannot get more power out of his Mini-Cons, he will simply have to get more Mini-Cons. Meanwhile, the Air Defense Team is discussing the situation. They've decided that they don't want to get in the middle of the war, and that they have to find a way off the planet somehow. Just then, Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons burst in. Back in [[Lincoln]], the kids are playing the forest, when they run into the Autobots. Optimus Prime tells them that he doesn't want them to become involved in their war. Sparkplug starts to give his agreement, when he suddenly gets an emergency transmission on the Mini-Cons' private frequency. The Decepticons successfully capture the Air Defense Team, and Leader-1 assures Megatron that he blocked the distress call. Back at the Autobot base, Laserbeak tells the Autobots that he saw three Mini-Con captives before he was spotted and had to flee. Sparkplug, Jolt, and Longarm want to mount a covert mission to rescue them, but Optimus Prime is against it. He fears what might happen if they were to be captured and put to use by the Decepticons. Despite his orders, the three Mini-Cons go with the kids to the Decepticon base at [[Silver Ridge]]. They successfully sneak in, but are discovered by Starscream. In the ensuing battle, the supports are damaged and the ceiling collapses on top of the Decepticon. Elsewhere, Megatron holds up the newly completed Star Saber...

==Errors==
*Sparkplug is shown to have the ability to powerlink with Optimus Prime. However, it had already been established that the ability to powerlink was due to Decepticon rewiring on Mini-Con internal systems, and Sparkplug was never captured by the Decepticons. It was later retconned that the Mini-Cons could always powerlink to larger Transformers, and the Decepticon working only made it so the powerlinking could be forced.

==Items of note==
*The names [[Runamuck (G1)|Runamuck]] and [[Runabout]] have been spray-painted onto a sign outside the Air Defense Team's base. This is likely a reference to [[Decepticon Graffiti]].
*Rad, Carlos and Alexis' hometown is inexplicably changed from Science City to Lincoln, South Dakota. They also seem to have gotten considerably older, in previous issues they appeared to be seven or eight years old at most but now look like middle schoolers, matching the cartoon more than the previous issues.
==Synopsis==
The issue opens with a stone monolith crashing to Earth in a field. It launches a number of probes and begins to send out a radio signal. Back in Lincoln, Sparkplug is angry with Optimus Prime. Despite how supportive and welcoming the Autobots have been, it's clear that they are the ones calling the shots, and not the Mini-Cons. As on Cybertron, he feels that they're only being used as a means to an end. At Lincoln Middle School, Rad starts to get in a fight with some bullies, but is saved by the intervention of the Street Action Team. As they ride away, the Mini-Cons suddenly stop responding and begin moving themselves through the street against the flow of traffic. At the Decepticon base at Silver Ridge, Cyclonus goes to lock the Mini-Cons back up after their time spent training, but finds that they've all mysteriously vanished, and the defense systems have been rewired to attack him instead. Starscream alerts Megatron to the situation. The Decepticon leader is confused, as the Mini-Cons know they've been tagged with homing beacons and would be unable to hide. At the Autobot base, too, Optimus Prime receives word that their Mini-Cons have left. Red Alert feels they may just need some time to cool off, but Optimus Prime is worried: after the situation with the Air Defense Team, he's unsure of what they might do next. At the stone monolith, all the Earthbound Mini-Cons have gathered, the kids among them. All of them are standing completely still, staring at it intently. Just then the Decepticons arrive, happy about the Mini-Con bounty that has fallen into their laps. As they try to take them, though, lasers fire out of the monolith at them. Rad sneaks over to Sparkplug, activates his communicator, and contacts Optimus Prime, who arrives shortly thereafter with Red Alert and Hot Shot in tow. As the Autobots and Decepticons fight amongst themselves, the kids see that a door has opened in the monolith and all the Mini-Cons are walking in. As the Transformers are otherwise preoccupied, Rad runs in behind them. The door shuts and the monolith rockets off into space, leaving Alexis standing in a giant Mini-Con symbol that has been burned into the ground...
