:Bonecrusher is a Decepticon from the Movie continuity family.

Bonecrusher is a Transformer that can be described with one word: Hate. Bonecrusher hates this wiki. Bonecrusher hates the fact that his toy is so small. Bonecrusher even hates amusingly appropriate Avril Lavigne quotes. Basically Bonecrusher hates everything and everyone, particularly buses, and lives for the day when all of creation is crushed and destroyed beneath his feet. If anyone tries to befriend him (with the possible exception of folks from Force Protection, as noted below), he will have nothing to do with them. His overwhelming anger and hatred extends even to his fellow Decepticons, including Megatron himself. Only fear of Megatron keeps him on their side. Plus, he really hates the Autobots.

Were you to ask if there was anything he didn't hate, he might tell you that he hates it when people ask that. More likely, though, he'd just grind your torso into a fine powder. The hatred of Bonecrusher isn't a quiet, brooding, sulking, thing nor a whiny Emo sort of hate. His hatred is of the explosive, violently psychotic sort, and the only thing that soothes his twisted spark is to sneer at the mangled remains of those he destroyed.

He transforms into a Buffalo mine clearing vehicle used by the military. It is made exclusively in South Carolina and the drivers routinely use it to drive to the local Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. He hates drivers, the mine clearing vehicle, the drive-thrus, and South Carolina. He loves tacos, however.
Ghosts of Yesterday
Bonecrusher was aboard the crew of the Nemesis, led by Starscream, who were searching for Megatron, who was lost thousands of years ago, along with the All Spark. He hated the Nemesis, but would hate trying to walk home more. He also hated the All Spark, but Megatron wanted it, so he decided not to complain. Finally, he hated Starscream, but all the other Decepticons do as well, making it something he has in common with his fellow Decepticons. He hated that.

Bonecrusher was picked to lead an assault on the Ark. His only response to the command was a growl, but he dislikes being in charge, as his only strategy in combat is to violently charge the enemy and rip them apart with his bare hands. Everyone else uses their stupid guns, and Bonecrusher is a terrible shot. After Blackout had his exhaust port handed to him for challenging Starscream, Bonecrusher had to drag him back to the Nemesis. Bonecrusher would have preferred to leave him to rot. During the subsequent fight, Bonecrusher has to fight Ironhide, and managed to dent his armor. However, Bonecrusher does demand answers from Starscream when Blackout demands information on why the Decepticon leader wanted to destroy an alien vessel, cause damn it, even Bonecrusher needs reasons to kill (well, not really, he was just getting fed up with Starscream). Bonecrusher was forced to drag Starscream back to the Nemesis when he was injured by the alien ship. He hates being a courier. Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday

Titan Magazines
Bonecrusher is known and feared by Autobots for never giving up. He almost killed Jazz once and pursued him & his comrade Clocker for ages - because Bonecrusher hates nice-looking shiny robots (or nice-looking anythings) and deliberately destroys them. As he says, "I figure, why should they look so nice... when I look like this!", showing he hates even himself. Clocker covered Jazz's retreat and tried to fight Bonecrusher, who hated that and killed him. Transformers comic issue 6

Transformers Movie Prequel (Target)
Bonecrusher was a member of Starscream's unit that was keeping Optimus Prime's reinforcements out of Tyger Pax. When Brawl arrived with news of Megatron and the All Spark, Bonecrusher insisted that they move on as they had already killed all the Autobots in the area. He then demanded that Brawl take them to Megatron or he would kill them all. Witnessing the launch of the All Spark, Barricade commented that Cybertron would die, but Bonecrusher replied that they should let it die, and that Barricade should join it in death. After Starscream and Blackout settled their differences, the group headed after Megatron.

The Decepticons made planetfall on Earth in Afghanistan, quickly attracting the attention of a nearby US military base, which sent out an armoured personnel carrier to investigate. Bonecrusher declared his satisfaction in finally having something to kill, but this chance was snatched away when Wreckage scanned the vehicle and destroyed it. He hated when that happened. Hitting the US airbase, Bonecrusher easily killed the humans before scanning a Buffalo mine-clearance vehicle and complaining that there weren't enough lifeforms to kill. Transformers Movie Prequel (Target) Volume 2

Note: In the panel were the Decepticons react to the arrival of the armoured personnel carrier, it is likely that Bonecrusher's speech bubble regarding the military base was actually meant for Wreckage (as the latter was the one who tracked the base location), and that Brawl was incorrectly given Bonecrusher's own speech bubble about killing things. On the last page, Bonecrusher's speech bubble asking Starscream if it was going to be easy is clearly meant for Barricade, as that is who Starscream responds to. Bonecrusher hates ventriloquism.

While hiding in a military base, Bonecrusher came under attack by the humans twice, and required assistance from Starscream to escape. He hates needing help from people, especially from people he hates.

He is playable on PSP multi.

Bonecrusher was hiding out in the motor pool of a military base when he received a communique from Starscream ordering the Decepticons to to mobilize and converge on the location of the All Spark. He rendezvoused with Barricade and Devastator, and the three Decepticons headed off together to intercept the Autobots and their human allies who had the All Spark in their possession.

Devastator wandered off somewhere, so Bonecrusher and Barricade continued their pursuit on the freeway. Barricade activated his sirens to clear the traffic and allow them more maneuvering room. Unsatisfied with Barricade's less conspicuous method, and since he hated rush-hour traffic, Bonecrusher used his mine-scoop to flip cars out of his way (He kinda liked that). Surprisingly, the Autobots didn't find this out of the ordinary, and only reacted when ladiesman217 recognized Barricade and warned the Autobots. Optimus Prime, Ironhide, and Ratchet aligned to block the Decepticons from Bumblebee, who had the All Sparks and the fleshlings.

After Barricade pulled over to the side of the road, Bonecrusher transformed while still moving and skated towards the Autobots. Optimus Prime transformed and slid into position to block his path. Seeing the Autobot he really hated (and that's saying a lot), Bonecrusher smashed through a bus (it irked him), and tackled Optimus Prime, pushing him off an overpass tumbling and falling off the edge, dragging the Autobot leader down with him.

When they landed, he sucker-punched Optimus Prime, who then hit Bonecrusher so hard one of the Decepticon's optics popped free from its socket (he liked that eye... well, no, he didn't; he just hated not having it more.) The two played a little cat-and-mouse along the overpasses. After Prime jumped down to ground level, Bonecrusher swung his tail wildly at the Autobot, all the while screaming incoherently. This gave Optimus the opportunity he needed to get his sword ready... which the Autobot leader used to cleave Bonecrusher's right arm and run through the Decepticon's neck, nearly severing it. Optimus then wrenched Bonecrusher's head from its neck and tossed it aside.

Bonecrusher hates his movie role. Transformers (2007)
Toy Bio
Despite all appearances, Bonecrusher managed to escape after his encounter with Optimus Prime (missing his head? beaten to a pulp?), and went to hide out in the South American jungle. He hates camping.

: Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path. The fork can change from its packaged "Grabber claw" configuration into a more fork/shovel like configuration, a fact not stated on the instructions. He has six rolling wheels in this mode, and two sculpted, non-functional spare wheels.

: In robot mode he has elements resembling both his 2005 design and the final design used in the movie, though a major deviation to both designs is that the entire front shell halves of the vehicle mode are mounted upon his arms. His arms have limited articulation due to this kibble, but can extend out into really long arms. His legs fare better, with ball jointed hips, swivel knees and ankles, but his hips can often detach from the codpiece holding them together. The mine-fork splits to form a grabber-claw, which can snap onto victims with a geared slider Automorph mechanism. He is surprisingly okay with these little tools of death.

: He is named "Bonescrusher" on the Canadian cross-sell. Guess how Bonecrusher feels about that little mispelling.
*Ironhide vs Bonecrusher (2007)

:Bonecrusher comes packaged with the impressively-armed Ironhide. He is depicted lunging forward on his roller-skate feet, presumably to deliver an extremely enthusiastic hug. This figurine is notorious for not actually being able to stand up on its feet very well, usually requiring one of its hands to be used for balance. Also, he's got some kind of a sneering grin, making him look almost happy, even if it's an evil happy.

Bonecrusher really, REALLY hates his Robot Heroes toy.

Trivia
* The real Buffalo mine-sweeping vehicle hasn't in fact, such a huge fork. It is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide. The image that inspired Bonecrusher's design was actually a Photoshopped image put on the official Force Protection company's site to make it look more impressive. A 10-foot-wide (3 m) appliance had to be fixed on Bonecrusher's arm for the movie. He hated that.

* Force Protection really, really loves Bonecrusher and that he has picked their Buffalo as its alt mode. They are actually quite proud of it. Bonecrusher is not sure what to think about that.

* Bonecrusher's toy was used as a prop for a CNN Headline News report demonstrating the real Buffalo vehicle's mine-sweeping arm. He hates the Lincoln Memorial.

* It's a matter of debate whether or not Bonecrusher actually said anything intelligible in English during his brief appearance in the finished film, or whether he is talking in Cybertronian. At various points in his fight with Optimus Prime, he does emit some garbled roars that might be English. However, there is little agreement among viewers as to whether he said anything at all, much less what he supposedly said. For what it's worth, the subtitles saying nothing on his speech, and the closed captions say that he is just "roaring". His only subtitled line is "Bonecrusher rolling." It could just be that he hates speaking coherently. Kinda makes you wonder why nobody has thought to contact Jimmie Wood and ask him just what the Slag he was saying.

* Bonecrusher is Michael Bay's favorite character from the film, despite his limited screentime—so much so that Bay named his new dog after him. Although the Decepticons are generally cat people, Bonecrusher hates cats, so he is quite flattered. He still hates Bay for the small screen time he gets, though.

* According to the DVD commentary, Bonecrusher's sequences were particularly difficult for ILM to do at first. The solution came from videotaping employees rollerblading at speed in the parking lot, and a pair of fighting experts going through the motions wanted for Bonecrusher and Prime, then using that footage as references. And Bonecrusher hates it when nobody knows how he fights.

* Last but not least, Bonecrusher hates you. Yeah, you. You know who you are. Don't try to pretend you don't know, either. Bonecrusher hates ignorance.

:Bonecrusher comes packaged with the impressively-armed Ironhide. He is depicted lunging forward on his roller-skate feet, presumably to deliver an extremely enthusiastic hug. Also, he's got some kind of a sneering grin, making him look almost happy, even if it's an evil happy.

Kinda makes you wonder why nobody has thought to contact Jimmie Wood and ask him just what the Slag (slang)]] he was saying.

Kinda makes you wonder why nobody has thought to contact Jimmie Wood and ask him just what the Slag (slang]] he was saying.

Shockblast was held prisoner deep inside Cybertron, under near-constant supervision due to his status as a dangerous Decepticon war criminal. During a Decepticon uprising, Shockblast escaped and slaughtered first his attempted Savouir then most of the Autobot guards (while also inadvertently creating the Autobot hero who would be known as Wing Saber).
Megatron decided to add Shockblast to his team, and dispatched Tidal Wave to Cybertron. Unfortunately, Tidal Wave was fatally injured during Shockblast's riot (he was later reformatted into Mirage).

Shockblast joined the Decepticons and regarded Megatron with a high level of contempt. He made several attempts to overthrow Megatron and assume command of the team, all of which failed. In his final fight, Shockblast was crushed by the reactivated Unicron.
After eliminating their Autobot enemies, he grew bored and began to attack and destroy his own Decepticon allies, leading to Tidal Wave's animosity towards him. Shockblast and Six Shot were captured in between Armada and Energon for their continued attempts to keep the war going between the two factions, refusing to accept the newfound period of peace.)

: Shockblast transforms into a Cybertronic laser-tank, plus has a third satellite-cannon mode. His cannon-arm contains a spring-loaded missile launcher and an electronic sound gimmick. His design is an homage to the Generation 1 Decepticon Shockwave.

: All reported specimens of this toy have the same problem: in satellite mode, a peg on one of his legs will not fit into the corresponding slot to hold the mode together. Also, his torso connects to his legs via a very small hinge, which is quite suceptible to breaking.

: The japanese version of Shockblast, named Laserwave, differs from the Hasbro release, with slightly more detailed paint deco and using a cooler grey plastic colour.

Megatron isn't happy.

Detailed synopsis
In a lower layer of Gigantion, Scourge helps the battered Megatron walk after his thrashing at the hands of Metroplex (which happened last episode). The Decepticons offer words of encouragement, but Megatron isn't listening.

After Optimus recalls their short time on the planet, and asks Metroplex to guide them to the central layer, but the leader of the planet says they can't. It's not that they don't want to, but their customs dictate that data on old cities be erased, so the lower levels are as much a mystery to them as they are to the newcomers. As the Autobots start unloading the Ogygia, they remark that they can hopefully narrow their searches of old cities for old data if Vector Prime can get a general fix on the Cyber Planet Key, with the help of the Omega Lock.

Back underground, Megatron is fuming, literally. Ransack and Crumplezone get a little too close and get knocked backwards by the sheer force of Megatron's "aura of fury". Scourge assures everyone that it's not them he's angry at... and then Megatron's fury boils over, creating an energy blast that scatters the Decepticons. and punches a hole to the surface. Megatron rises high into the air, and the Decepticons pull themselves from the rubble. Soundwave announces he's "droppin' outta this session" and flies off.

Megatron rumbles that he needs more power, and the Gigantion Cyber Planet Key reacts to his anger... as does the Omega Lock, which starts emitting the Omega Frequency. Megatron's spirit resonates with the Key, and spectral-Megatron pushes through layer after layer of the planet, all the way to the resting place of the Key. It resists him, but Megatron draws energy from it, and shoots back through to the surface, tearing a huge hole in the planet... and comes out again enveloped in black "mist". Thunderblast swoons.

Back at the Ogygia, Vector Prime says he's found the key, but that the disturbance means someone else has too, and drawn energy from it. The Autobots split into groups and search (the fliers, in their own group, end up having a little race). Vector notes Landmine's team hasn't reported back... and the trio are laying around, having been pounded senseless by the darkness-enshrouded Megatron. Optimus' team finds them, and Metroplex notes the lack of collateral damage in the area, meaning they were knocked out fast.

Elsewhere, Override is trying to outrun Megatron, but gets knocked into the air. Quickmix catches her and fires at Megatron before engaging him hand-to-hand... and is quickly knocked out. Optimus' team finds them too, and Override warns Optimus about the upgraded Megatron. The teams are all called back to regroup...

Coby is crawling through an old computer when Jetfire alerts his team about the recall. Jetfire orders Coby to get out of there right now, but Coby's seen something and asks for five minutes to check it out. Meanwhile, the Cybertron Defense Team has gotten its clock cleaned by Megatron, while the other Decepticons follow, making sure to stay behind suitable cover, of course. They come across Jetfire's team, and Wing Saber and Evac tackle Megs so Jetfire can get Coby (who found and retrieved something from the tunnel) and Lori away safely. Which doesn't work, as Megatron wipes out the to Autobots pretty much instantly, then conks out Jetfire. He turns to the humans, but Jetfire grabs his leg, but before Megatron can finish Jetfire off, Optimus arrives to cannon-blast the Decepticon. Megs quickly attacks and sends Prime tumbling to the ground, and announces to the world he is now Galvatron (again)!

Metroplex has at Galvatron, but the Decepticon stops the giant's Sparkdrinker axe with a single finger, then pushes him back easily. Metroplex powers up his weapon with a Cyber Key, but Galvatron actually takes the weapon from Metroplex's hands and bashes him with it, knocking him out for the count. Vector Prime leaps in but is dispatched with a single swipe of Galvatron's hand.

Galvatron then powers up with a Cyber Key to unleash his spiked-arm-add-on-thingy and bash Optimus around some. Prime refuses to stay down, so Galvatron uses a second Key to unleash his gatling cannon, which sends Optimus flying. In victory, Galvatron emits a lightning storm, and one bolt screams towards the kids at the top of a high tower... but Optimus somehow gets in the way of the bolt, saving them.

Optimus remembers the promise he made to Coby and Lori's parents to keep them safe (keep Coby and Lori safe, that is, not their parents), and powers up to super mode. The two do that fly-at-each-other-then-punch-each-others'-fist-and-hold thing, before Galvatron is pushed back. But Prime falters, and Galvatron is ready to go again... until Metroplex hurls the gigantic Sparkdrinker at Optimus. Prime manages to summon a Cyber Key to power it up, and the two rush at each other again, this time to do that run-past-each-other-then-stand-still-then-the-hero-kneels-the-bad-guy-smirks-but-is-then-wounded deal. The Decepticons rush to Galvatron's aid, and he decides to call it a day. They run, and Soundwave, who has been watching this whole time, also flies off.

The Autobots return to the Ogygia, and use the machinery Coby recovered to plot a course underground. The ship heads for the coordinates, but they find a giant crevice along the way, with the Atlantis starship in the middle, having crashed on Gigantion!
Other Notes
Animation and/or technical glitches
* Ransack's "mask" seems to disappear at random.

Continuity errors
* So... now there's this gigantic hole in the planet, yes? Which presumably leads from the Key at the center of the planet... all the way to the surface where the Decepticons are... so... why don't they just fly down the hole and snag the Key all easy-peasey?

* The three Decepticon fans on Crumplezone's back when he and Ransack celebrate Galvatron's reveal are gone in the next shot, even though the fans in their hands are still there.

Transformers references
* Metroplex says "Don't get a glitch in your rotator cuffs!", which is close to a line Kup says in the original Transformers movie, about a "burr in my rotator".

* Speaking of movie references, Galvatron mutters "Such heroic nonsense" before powering up with a Cyber Key, the infamous line Generation 1 Megatron uttered before brutally killing Ironhide in the movie.

* Later, Galvatron adds another instance of over-use of movie lines with "Why throw away your life so recklessly?" (this line was used again in Unfinished).

Real-world references
* When Megatron communes with the Key, Vector mutters he "felt great disturbance within the force"... a very Obi-Wan Kenobi-esque moment, referring to the Force from the Star Wars movies.

Miscellaneous trivia
* Okay, okay, this is technically the last time we see Nemesis Breaker... but it's only in flashbacks to last episode.

* Quickmix uses his left-arm pipes as a hand-held blaster here, which the Quickmix toy can actually do!

:Crankcase is a whiny Decepticon skidplate in the dumb Generation 1 continuity family.

Nobody likes Crankcase, and he hates everybody and everything. Once a geeky collection of circuits and servos, Crankcase began life as a menial janitor in the Fuel-Spill Section of the Ministry of Energy and Nutrition on Cybertron. The bullies of his youth put a huge chip on his shoulder, where he now carries a set of heavy guns. He'd rather use them on those too weak to retaliate, and then laugh in their faces while their energon runs out. This makes him momentarily happy; then he goes back to an endless series of griping complaints about every facet of his miserable existence. A complete jerk and slag-piece, he fits fairly well into the Decepticon military, but adds very little to it. The Autobots certainly wouldn't want him. They already have Gears and Huffer.

Fiction
===Marvel Comics continuity.

Crankcase was under the command of that vapor-brained Megatron millions of years ago on Cybertron, but they couldn't even beat up a bunch of pipecleaner pacifists right, and completely lost the source of all knowledge and information, the Underbase. The Flames of Boltax! Things only got worse after that. Oh sure, we don't know anything that actually happened to Crankcase for over four million years, but they definitely must've gotten worse. In the present day, he had a useless job serving the equally useless Decepticon Triumvirate. What a bunch of bloated losers. Not that Megatron II coming along and blowing them away made things any better...none of the Decepticon leaders could ever accomplish anything lasting, so who Crankcase was serving didn't matter. The Fall and Rise of the Decepticon Empire Then his Triggercon "friends" abandoned him to go running off with some Mayhem Attack Squad. Slag-suckers -- like joining a group with an even stupider name than the Wreckers is going to be some sort of edge in combat. Odds are their commander will end up going mad with power and beat the circuits out of them, anyway. Matrix Quest

Later, some pathetic "God" possessed an even-more-pathetic Autobot, and gathered Crankcase with a bunch of other Transformers to battle Unicron. Right -- a swarm of mecha-ants attacking a guy the size of a planet. That's really going to work. Anyway, some Autobot made a really long and self-important speech, picked up some knick-knack he found lying around and yada yada yada someone's probably going to expect Crankcase to clean up the mess. Not a chance. On the Edge of Extinction!

Some new guy named Bludgeon took over the Decepticons after that, and used the scientific method to pick a new world to plunder. The weak little inhabitants of Klo put up no fight whatsoever, which was really pathetic. Then the Autobots showed up and got massacred, which was even more pathetic. THEN the Autobots all started coming back to life and doing annoying things like caving in Crankcase's entire skull. He knew it would come to this, he just knew it. End of the Road! (Marvel US comic)

Generation 2
Some idiot un-smooshed Crankcase's head, so he remained an active member of Bludgeon's army. That was stupid. It was only a matter of time before he would get injured again, like from Generation 2 Cybertronian acid rain, so what was the point of repairing him? No one ever listens to Crankcase, though, so he went ahead and died when the Cybertronians caved in his chassis. New Dawn
Crankcase was stuck on Nebulos with a bunch of other incompetent Decepticon redshirts that quickly got their skidplates handed to them by that Pretender Thunderwing. Yeah, like nobody expected that to happen.

: Crankcase transforms from an 4wd off-road vehicle to a robot with very limited articulation, all located in his shoulders. Similar to the other Triggercons, he has flip-out weaponry, which in his case are two double-barreled laser cannons which deploy from his backpack/shoulders. This gimmick interferes with his windshield when stowed away and doesn't fire missiles or do anything useful.
