[[Ratchet (Prime)|Ratchet]] rendezvous with [[Wheeljack (Prime)|Wheeljack]] in a wooded area to search for the third of four relics. Though Wheeljack rubs Ratchet up the wrong way, they take off in the [[Jackhammer (Prime)|Jackhammer]] to find the relic and soon pick up [[Soundwave (Prime)|Soundwave]] as company. After Wheeljack dogfights with Soundwave for a few minutes, Soundwave releases [[Laserbeak (Prime)|Laserbeak]] to take over the attack on the ship. Wheeljack is more than happy to chase Laserbeak instead though as they chase the drone, it almost cause them to hit the side of a mountain. He finally scores a hit on Laserbeak, but as it goes down, a random shot hits the Jackhammer, bringing the ship down as well.

Ratchet is keen to resume the search for the relic, but Wheeljack spots the downed Laserbeak. They examine it, and Wheeljack hits on the idea of planting a grenade in it to provide the Decepticons with a surprise. It gives Ratchet a better idea—implanting a virus to get them access to the ''[[Trypticon (Prime)|Nemesis]]'' computer and uplift the [[Iacon (polity)|Iacon]] database. He contacts base and asks [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] to prepare a virus. At Raf's suggestion, they implant a grenade into Laserbeak as well to provide a decoy that the Decepticons will find and throw them off the scent of the virus. Wheeljack leaves Ratchet to find Soundwave so he can buy Ratchet time.

Meanwhile Soundwave has located the relic, the [[Resonance Blaster]], and dug it up. Wheeljack quickly locates him and attacks. They trade blows until Soundwave relieves Wheeljack of a sword and uses his tentacles to throw the Autobot around. Wheeljack manages to use Soundwave's tentacles against each other and cracks the Decepticon's visor with his head. They go flying off the cliff, but Wheeljack finally has Soundwave at his mercy, at least until Soundwave grabs the Resonance Blaster with a tentacle and uses it on Wheeljack. Wheeljack succumbs to the weapon's effects.

Ratchet and Raf begin uploading the virus into Laserbeak, but as they need it online to do so, the drone activates and tries to fly off, forcing Ratchet to hold it down. Soundwave is about to finish off Wheeljack when he detects activity from Laserbeak and heads off to investigate. Wheeljack has time to warn Ratchet before falling unconscious, and the virus download finishes in time for Ratchet to hide before Soundwave arrives. After some tense moments, the Decepticon picks up Laserbeak, but appears to be alerted to Ratchet. Soundwaves tentacles venture into Ratchet's hiding place, but as it turns out they're merely after a lost piece of Laserbeak. Having retrieved it, Soundwave heads off back to the ''Nemesis''. Ratchet, unable to raise Wheeljack, goes to help his comrade.

Wheeljack is more than happy to chase Laserbeak instead though as they chase the drone, it almost cause them to hit the side of a mountain. He finally scores a hit on Laserbeak, but as it goes down, a random shot hits the Jackhammer, bringing the ship down as well.

Ratchet is keen to resume the search for the relic, but Wheeljack spots the downed Laserbeak. They examine it, and Wheeljack hits on the idea of planting a grenade in it to provide the Decepticons with a surprise. It gives Ratchet a better idea—implanting a virus to get them access to the ''[[Trypticon (Prime)|Nemesis]]'' computer and uplift the [[Iacon (polity)|Iacon]] database. He contacts base and asks [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]] to prepare a virus. At Raf's suggestion, they implant a grenade into Laserbeak as well to provide a decoy that the Decepticons will find and throw them off the scent of the virus. Wheeljack leaves Ratchet to find Soundwave so he can buy Ratchet time.

Meanwhile Soundwave has located the relic, the [[Resonance Blaster]], and dug it up. Wheeljack quickly locates him and attacks. They trade blows until Soundwave relieves Wheeljack of a sword and uses his tentacles to throw the Autobot around. Wheeljack manages to use Soundwave's tentacles against each other and cracks the Decepticon's visor with his head. They go flying off the cliff, but Wheeljack finally has Soundwave at his mercy, at least until Soundwave grabs the Resonance Blaster with a tentacle and uses it on Wheeljack. Wheeljack succumbs to the weapon's effects.

Soundwaves tentacles venture into Ratchet's hiding place, but as it turns out they're merely after a lost piece of Laserbeak. Having retrieved it, Soundwave heads off back to the ''Nemesis''. ==Synopsis==
With the ''[[Trypticon (Prime)|Nemesis]]'' down, [[Megatron (Prime)|Megatron]] discovers an Autobot was responsible for the crash. Despite [[Knock Out (Prime)|Knock Out]]'s protests, Megatron infuses [[Dark Energon]] into the ship's power core. Meanwhile, the [[Autobot]]s feel this might well be the time to strike. [[Optimus Prime (Prime)|Optimus Prime]] decides on using the [[spark extractor|Spark Extractor]].

The Dark Energon infusion of the ''Nemesis'' works, powering up the ship. The energy is detected by the Autobots, who immediately set out with [[William Fowler|Agent Fowler]]. They arrive to find the 'Con warship already airborne, and it begins firing on them. The Autobots attempt to get close enough to use the Spark Extractor, but the ship hits them one by one with a stasis beam, sending them into [[stasis lock]]. Megatron is pleased at being able to get the Spark Extractor back, but when he orders the ship to move closer, it abruptly changes course. When Megatron demands the ship be overridden, the [[Vehicon (Prime)|Vehicon]] at the helm is electrocuted. The ship itself announces it is in charge and on a mission. Knock Out notes it's decoding the [[Iacon (polity)|Iacon]] database. Furious, Megatron demands they retake control, but when [[Soundwave (Prime)|Soundwave]] attempts, he's sent into stasis. Beams of energy sweep through the ship, disabling the Decepticons.

Back at base, Fowler notes that the ''Nemesis'' is heading towards North America, and the decision is made to try and contact Megatron to see what's up. On the warship, Knock Out is put into stasis while checking on the Iacon data, and Megatron attempts to disable the ship's power core, only to be put in stasis as well. When Ratchet contacts the ''Nemesis'', the ship itself responds and helpfully lets them know its mission is to find the missing Iacon artifacts. [[Ratchet (Prime)|Ratchet]] and the humans believe it's the opportune moment to download a copy of the Iacon database, so Fowler and the kids [[GroundBridge]] on board the ship. They find the [[Project Iacon]] console, and clambering up Knock Out, plug the [[transfer drive]] Ratchet gave them in. [[Jack Darby|Jack]] notices the ship is heading for [[New York City]], the location of the first relic. While trying to change the ship's course, Fowler is shocked into unconsciousness, but the ship, still scanning for Cybertronian-based life forms, is unable to detect the kids.

Though Ratchet wants to bridge the kids back, Jack realizes they have to do something now, and head to the ship's power core. There they find the frozen Megatron, and Jack discovers that the manually-operated fuel injection valve is too large for them to operate. While he's still trying, the ship detects [[Miko Nakadai|Miko]] and [[Raf Esquivel|Raf]]. As a manipulator arm starts chasing them, they hide among the [[energon cube]]s, but the arm moves the containers aside, eventually exposing them. Jack manages to attract its attention and trick it into hitting Megatron. The Decepticon leader topples over, dragging the lever down and reversing the [[energon]] flow. Though the ship tries to use the manipulator arm to move the lever back, it's not fast enough to do so before its intelligence returns to stasis. As the ship shuts down, the Decepticons begin recovering, and the kids make all haste back through the corridors. While Miko and Raf help Fowler through the GroundBridge, Jack goes after the transfer drive, but he's still struggling with it as Knock Out comes back online.
