While many of the Decepticons in the final battle arrive from the moon, it could be inferred from Devcon's alternate mode (a Russian missile launcher) that he may previously have been an active unit stationed in Russia, possibly under [[Shockwave (Movie)|Shockwave's]] command. Heeding the call of [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]], he joined the Decepticon beachhead in [[Washington, D.C.]]. During the invasion of [[Chicago]], Devcon participated in the initial strike and contributed to the mayhem. During the Autobots' attack on this Decepticon stronghold, he was one of the many Decepticons who fired upon the retreating Autobots. When the tide began to turn in the Autobots' favor, however, the behemoth met his end as he tried to hold a bridge.
