<div>Adjusted the contrast, clipped the dead space out, removed a few lines, all for a cleaner image. I've noticed this on a fair few comic scans... there's a LOT of empty space in 'em. Presumably, the beam is emitted from or reflected off of some sort of orbital station or satellite. The technique may require a specialized satellite, but it may also be possible to "bounce" the teleportation beam against any orbiting body of the proper size and/or materials.<br />
