:I'm confused. The Sunstorm entry mentions one that follwoed Megazarak in Universe-- but the bio is that of the PVC-based Sunstorm from the OTFCC Magazine, right? Not the Thrust-recolor? I've been looking at redoign the dreamwave summary here. Tell me, did we have aname for the first arc of the Dreamwave ongoing series, #1-6? I really dont' want to link to six individual stories that are one continuious narrative. Did the canceled TPB have a name i could maybe use?

Also, I don't think the Sunbow cartoon section should say 'probably not Sunstorm' when Sunstorm was, in fact, directly modeled on that guy. -[[User:Derik|Derik]] 18:50, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

The marvel comics character guides, IIRC, mark backstory as (bts) of the story it was REVEALED in, (with no care if it was supposedly occuring off screen in another story.) (usually italicised?)

I suspect we want to do this the same way- but I'm throwing it in the OTHER way here, so you can see how it'd look. I kinda partwise-feel like in-universeness means we should address this ostensibly occouring within the original story... and then I smack myself.

It occurs to me that since the Sunstorm from Megazarak's dimension can't be G1 Sunstorm, we should handle him like we handle Universe Tankor and Obsidian; as a separate guy, with a brief summary explaining that he's basically the G1 guy but from elsewhere. ::Frankly, I'm kind of partial to the idea of merging Obsidian and Tankor with their counterparts. ::::* With Tankor and Obsidian, we're treating them as separate characters because they're explicitly separate; it's kind of like Galvatron II, where he's the same guy and he's from the same continuity family but darn it, we've got two of them. Now, while U:Tankor could be said to just replace BM:Tankor, BM:Obsidian is presumably still alive as of Universe. That forces us to treat them as separate entities.

I don't think the Sunstorm mentioned in Megazarak's bio is the same as the Sunstorm that got the bio in the club magazine. The Thrust repaint Sunstorm was in the last OTFCC script as himself, I would say this one is Megazarak's Sunstorm. This Sunstorm gets the bio while the Universe one gets the script and is Megazarak's soldier.[[User:Lightsyder|Lightsyder]] 15:58, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Are you guys sure that's Sunstorm in that panel, and not intended to be the yellow rainmaker? Considering he's sitting next to Acid Storm and that it'd make sense for one Rainmaker to be with another, instead of Sunstorm out of nowhere (also, if it were Sunstorm, I'd think he'd be glowing). A fifth watch bearing the Transformers logo was available only in a gift set at the convention.

Although not specifically listed on the Program Schedule, a Trivia Contest utilizing a custom Transformer-themed "Trivial Pursuit" board ran both Saturday and Sunday with teams of two competing for a set of framed original
Beast Wars renderings specially commissioned from Mainframe. Each contained a group portrait of either the Maximals or Predacons. Due to the expensive nature of these pieces (over $1000 each according to Glen Hallit) for the first time at BotCon there was an entry fee of $10 for the contest.

* Evening: an informal pizza dinner gathering, with a welcome from Glen, Karl and Jon, an introduction of the two voice actor guests, and the unveiling of two exclusive lithographs of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

* It also marked the first time a convention-exclusive toy was offered in a sealed bubble on a card.

* BotCon 1999 actually ''made'' money as previous BotCons had been less than profitable.

* The location of ''next'' year's BotCon was announced in advance at the Wrap-Up Panel. Another first.

* Several people were injured after being nearly trampled in the Dealer's Room by greedy fans clamoring for a free Snapdragon. As a result, the "free toy toss" tradition started by a couple of dealers in the last few hours of BotCon was discontinued.

* Some selfish bastard ''stole'' one of the convention center's "announcement" signboards for BotCon. 3H was forced to pay for it out-of-pocket. May that douchenozzle rot in Hell for all eternity.
