Due to his temper, Cliffjumper never made it as a spy. He does excel at collecting data from those who did, however, and presents this information to his superiors. Given the data that passes in front of his optical sensors, he's pretty high-strung regarding potential Decepticon attacks, and always ready for a brawl.
Cliffjumper worked with Sentinel Minor at the Autobot boot camp. He was listening wordlessly to Sentinel's complaints about his latest recruits, and casting aspersions on Ultra Magnus's mental state. When asked about the echo that Sentinel was hearing, he gave no reply. Shortly after that, Cliffjumper hauled away the cadet Wasp, who had been arrested for being a Decepticon spy.
Years later, Cliffjumper was assigned to Longarm Prime in the intelligence division. During a series of concentrated Decepticon raids on space bridges, Cliffjumper alerted his commander that Ultra Magnus had ordered the entire space bridge nexus shut down in order to prevent the Decepticons from using any to reach Cybertron. A little later, Longarm asked the unsuspecting Cliffjumper to dispose of some "sensitive material". TransWarped

Cliffjumper answered the call from Sentinel Prime on Earth, gladly taking the good news that many of the Decepticons operating there had been taken into custody. He got to break it to the Primes that Ultra Magnus had been attacked and critically wounded by the true Decepticon spy, Longarm. Five Servos of Doom

He later was given command of Cybertron Intelligence and a resulting seat on the Autobot High Council. He was part of their discussion with Sentinel, and bluntly poked holes in his former boss' claims of capturing Decepticons. Decepticon Air

:Cliffjumper and his new-to-the-assortment wave-mate Dirge saw widespread release in European markets well before they made it to US stores in decent numbers, leading to a certain amount of fan-panic over their potential cancellation.

Notes
* Character designer Derrick J. Wyatt personally requested this page be moved to "Cliffjumper (Animated)" versus "Little red Autobot" back when his only appearance was as an unnamed, voiceless cameo.

Derrick J. Wyatt (10 August, 1972- ) is an American artist and character designer from Paw Paw, Michigan. He attended the Joe Kubert school of art in New Jersey, where one of his teachers was José Delbo. Later on, he received an internship at Spumco in California, which would graduate to full-time employment with the company. Derrick eventually left Spumco, subsequently getting a job at Warner Bros. Animation, where he worked on the comedy/wrestling series Mucha Lucha as a designer. Other opportunities opened up for him while at Warners, where he would join the staff of Teen Titans and Legion of Super Heroes as a full-time character designer.

He is currently the art director, lead character designer, and a color stylist on the Cartoon Network-produced Transformers Animated. As a longtime Transformers fan, this is a dream come true for him.

How big a fan he is can be seen in his 2009 April Fool's blog, where he did a poster of new characters in Season 3 and then deliberately designed and drew in fake characters so you could have fun guessing which were the real ones. The poster is a fan's delight with Animated versions of latter-G1 Mini Cars, Japanese G1 figures, Botcon and eHobby guys, Beast Machines, and RID. ==Notes==

* As a self-confessed fan of the original Transformers cartoon, Derrick slips many elements from it into his own design work on Animated, such as all Animated Autobots having blue eyes.
* Meanwhile, Derrick is also a self-confessed fan of '70s game shows.
* According to an interview, Derrick's favorite Transformers have always been "Swindle, Ratbat, Galvatron, and Waspinator". Well, that's three down...
* Derrick longs to have Animated feature appearances/homages for Lord Chumley and Slizardo.
* On the Transformers Animated season 2 DVD set, Derrick provides episode commentary on "Mission Accomplished" and "Garbage In, Garbage Out" alongside Marty Isenberg, Eric Siebenaler, and Matt Youngberg.
* Derrick occasionally influences this very wiki.
* Derrick prefers the characterizations of the original cartoon over the Marvel comics. Well, nobody's perfect.
* According to a series of Twitter messages...
** Derrick believes that Charles Nelson Reilly was the greatest actor the world will ever know.
** Derrick has a pair of guinea pigs, and the classic short "Pigs Is Pigs" is his favorite Disney cartoon of all time.
** Derrick dislikes ska, reggae, and olives.
**Oh, and he dislikes Primus, too.
*He would really like you all to know that he only did, like, one character design for Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, which he thinks was an old woman in a rocking chair.

Override is the best racer on Velocitron, and as such is the leader of the planet. She seemingly embodies the culture itself; she is quick-witted, decisive, self-sure and always looking for a challenge. This has its upsides and downsides: while she's brave and determined with a never-give-up attitude, she can also be cocky to the point of arrogant, if not selfish and shortsighted. She entered the great race for leadership disguised as a "boy", and has been defending her title and proving herself more than a match for anyone since.

After contact with the Autobots from Cybertron, particularly Hot Shot and Optimus Prime, she has matured into a more careful, more compassionate robot, less focused on being the best racer and more focused on being the best leader for her people... though she still maintains her never-lose attitude and love of high-speed challenges.

She has developed a close bond with the human girl Lori, referring to her as "Little Sister", which Lori reciprocates by calling Override "Big Sister".

: Part of the Speed Planet theme, Override transforms into a sleek futuristic race car. Plugging a Cyber Planet Key into the rear portion of her car mode causes two non-firing blasters to flip out into attack position; this assembly becomes a hand-weapon for robot mode. Override's transformation is partially spring-loaded, flipping her torso and arms into position, requiring only her lower body and backpack to be manually configured. She came with a gold-bordered Velocitron-style Cyber Planet Key.

: There are a few small deco changes between the Hasbro and Takara versions of the toy; Takara's has a gold face and no faction sigil, while Hasbro's has an orange face, Autobot faction sigil, and gives her Key the Key code "dy7p".

: This version of Override also was available in two different store-exclusive multi-packs. The first was a Wal-Mart set, including the Cybertron-series Tiny Tin version of the Race Mini-Con Team member Mirage. The second was a Target-exclusive "Drag Race" (...yeah, there's a joke there) set with Hot Shot.

: This mold was used to make the evil clone Dark Nitro Convoy.

*Override GTS (Deluxe class, 2006)
**Accessories: Engine-blaster, Speed Planet Cyber Planet Key

: Override's first toy was redecoed into a non-show coloration, replacing her white for a light gray, and gaining more black in her scheme. She still came with a gold -bordered Velocitron Cyber Planet Key, though this one has the Key code "dj9n".

: Early solicitations for this toy used the name "Double Clutch", suggesting that at one time, it might have been under consideration as being a new character. However, the first true Hasbro announcement of the toy at 2005 was that it was Override again.

Trivia
* Override's robot-mode CGI model appears in the viewscreen of the Hasbro version of the Real Gear Robots toy Zoom Out 25X.

* Override's alternate mode of a futuristic race car, as well as its red and white color scheme evokes the Mach 5 from the Speed Racer series.

* Override's color scheme is similar to the Generation 1 Autobot Minerva.

* In Cybertron, Lori and Override refer to each other affectionately as "big sister"/"little sister". Being male, Galaxy Force Nitro Convoy's relationship with Lori is slightly different, where he refers to Lori as what essentially translates to "little miss".

* In the Hungarian dub, Override is both male and female. Don't think about that too hard.
