The Cybertron Elite Guard arrives on Earth to retrieve the All Spark and relieve Prime and his crew of their post, but they prove less than adept at blending in with the human world.

Summary
On the extensive highway system of Detroit, the Autobots are aiding in the repair efforts after their titanic battle with the Decepticons. Unfortunately the residents of the city don't seem to understand that the road system was blown to rubble by the battle, and are upset that the Autobots are holding up traffic. Optimus Prime heads over to address their concerns, and they flee in fear. Bulkhead comments that he liked it better when they were heroes, to which Ratchet retorts that they still are. All of them wonder what the heck has happened that Bumblebee isn't there helping them.

There's no reason for them to be jealous though, as the little yellow bot has been pressed into service as Sari's secretary at Sumdac Tower. The little girl realizes that there's a lot of pressure in running a business, and feels sorry for her father's having had to deal with this. Porter C. Powell is less patient, and expresses a fairly cold attitude towards her "wasting" company funds on locating the genius who designs all the company's myriad robotic technologies. Sari is unable to address his concerns though, as an unidentified flying object is spotted in Detroit's skies.

Spotting it, the Autobots speed to the scene, only to be met with some justified resentment by Captain Fanzone. However they are allowed to pass once the ship is revealed to be crewed by Autobots. Sentinel Prime steps out of the ship and, once the Autobot crew walk up the gangplank, quarantines the entire area in a forcefield.

Sentinel is assigned to decontaminating the long lost Autobot crew, a task he takes to with relish until he is interrupted by Jazz for overdoing it. Released, the Autobots are informed that the Elite Guard have come to retrieve the AllSpark. Optimus explains that it suffered damage in a battle with the Decepticons, a fact that Sentinel accuses him of lying about.
Optimus: This is completely unnecessary, Sentinel!<br>
Sentinel: Can't risk an infestation, "old buddy". Take it like a real bot.<br>
Jazz: Cool it, Sentinel. Whatever went down between you and Optimus, you don't need to hassle his crew.

"Man, that was some funky blinkin colored light show! What'd you call those things again?"<br>
"Traffic lights?"<br>
"Traffic lights. Solid."<br>
"Hey, why is my office locked?"<br>
"Ms. Sumdac, I regret to inform you that your services will no longer be required. The board has unanimously elected me to take over as CEO of Sumdac Systems."<br>
"Is it? I took the liberty of doing some research into your claim. It might interest you to know that there is no will, no birth certificate, no adoption papers, social security number, or any kind of record for a 'Sari Sumdac'."<br>
"Are you saying I can't prove I'm Isaac Sumdac's daughter?"<br>
* We don't know what's happened to Starscream's body (alive or dead). Presumably he's either crawled off somewhere or been retrieved by Megatron, since it doesn't seem to have occurred to Optimus to use him as evidence of Decepticon activity.
* Speaking of evidence, how about all that recorded footage of the 'Cons that Megatron was paging through?
* So, what is the deal with Sari, anyway?

Detroit, Michigan is a city in the United States of America. It is located near Lake Erie, known
for human villans

Transformers Animated
Detroit was once the "Motor City": the automobile manufacturing capital of the world. By the 22nd Century, Detroit had once again become a leading manufacturing hub -- for robots. As for what happened to the city between those two periods, well, who knows?

The city's robotics industry was led by (and may have consisted solely of) the Sumdac Systems corporation. Most of the competition proved less than inspiring. This reliance on a single, monolithic industry is certain to provide economic stability for all time.

The city had a newly unveiled mass transit system, sponsored by Sumdac Systems, the Fast Automated Rapid Transit System, or FARTS. Real mature Isaac, real mature.

The city then became home to a team of five robotic superheroes, the Autobots. Having crashed aboard their ship some fifty years earlier in Lake Erie, they awoke and appointed themselves guardians and defenders of the city's humanity. When one of their old foes showed up in town, they ended up trashing a fair bit of the city. Not to be deterred, they worked hard to help rebuild it; this involved hitting things with an ax, naturally. The Autobots made their home in an abandoned early 20th Century factory. Transform and Roll Out!

Poor Detroit continued to suffer a great deal of robot-inflicted calamities after that. Among their troubles were robots flinging flaming fuel tanks into the air Home Is Where the Spark Is, robots smashing an entire parking lot full of cars Blast from the Past, robots getting thrown through the roof of the local sports arena Total Meltdown, robots inducing rolling electrical blackouts across the city Thrill of the Hunt, robots disguised as rocket-powered cars crashing into things Nanosec (episode), robots sucking the life force from the city's population Along Came a Spider, robots sparking a massive automaton rebellion Sound and Fury, and robots obliterating construction sites while flat-out trying to kill one another Lost and Found (Animated episode).

If the Decepticon army proper should arrive, then Heaven have mercy on Detroit, because the 'Cons sure as Hell won't. However, the arrival of Blitzwing and Lugnut was not as disastrous as it could have been. After all, they only attacked a construction site. Lost and Found (Animated episode)
:The All Spark is an artifact in the Transformers Animated continuity

A device of unknown origin and unimaginable power, the All Spark can create life itself and was the source of the Transformer race. For millions of years, Autobots and Decepticons waged the Great War over controlling it, with the Autobots only managing to defeat the Decepticons after they sent the All Spark through a space bridge portal, keeping it safely out of evil hands and effectively removing the wild card from remaining battles. If wielded by Decepticons, it would be a weapon of destruction like no other. In other words, same thing as the movie.

It seems to have a will of its own, seeking out qualified bearers and uniting even unlikely allies into a team.

It can also unfold really purdy.

Fiction
Animated cartoon
Optimus Prime and his crew from the Ark were repairing a space bridge when it activated on them. Once Prime shut down the bridge, they stumbled across the All Spark, hidden away inside a rock, having apparently emerged while the bridge was active. Ratchet told them of its history and significance in the Great War, believe it the All Spark had now found them, rather than the other way around. Almost immediately, the Decepticon leader Megatron and his crew showed up in their warship, the Nemesis, tracking the All Spark's energy readings. Megatron vowed to take the All Spark himself, but was sabotaged with a bomb by his lieutenant, Starscream. The explosion sent the Ark careening almost totally out of control until the All Spark activated a nearby space bridge, which itself exploded after the Ark went through.

The ship emerged from warp in low orbit over Earth and soon crash-landed in Lake Erie, not far from Detroit. Fifty years later, the Autobots came out of emergency stasis and ventured into the city to save people from a rampaging monster. Bumblebee quickly befriended a young girl named Sari Sumdac, who convinced him to take her aboard the Ark when his teammate Prowl was badly injured. While aboard, Sari came in contact with the All Spark, which decided for some reason to open up to her—in more ways than one. It reconfigured her security keycard into a powerful tool. With this new key, Sari could revive Autobots, activate machinery, screw up robots, and much more.

For a time, the Autobots were celebrated as Detroit's newest superheroes without having to exert themselves much, but then Starscream tracked them down. He took hostages and demanded the All Spark in exchange for their return. With Sari's help, the hostages were freed, but Starscream still managed to get hold of the All Spark, and he quickly started obliterating sections of Detroit with it. Prime attempted to wrestle the All Spark away from him, but again it opened, this time unleashing a powerful surge of energy that blasted away Starscream to parts unknown. Prime was left dangling from a tremendous height and quickly fell. He did not survive the impact, but in desperation, Sari used her reconfigured key on him. The All Spark intervened directly this time, and Prime's spark was restored online. Transform and Roll Out!

Lost and Found
Ever since Starscream's attack on Detroit, the All Spark has remained on board the Ark at the bottom of Lake Erie not very smart realy. Lost and Found (Animated episode)

Notes
The All Spark's powers, enigmatic origin, and storyline role are very similar to the synonymous device from the live-action movie. Its look, however, is more of an homage to the Matrix of Leadership (i.e. an orange-ish container with bracketed handles and a window in front that opens outward to reveal a glowing, blue, spherical crystal suffused with blue energy). However, the All Spark here is angular and cubic rather than curved and spheroid like the Matrix, basically hybridizing the looks of the movie and G1 devices. Wonder what happens if you put it in your chest?

:Professor Princess is a human <s>protector of innocents</s> supervillain from the Transformers Animated continuity family.

Professor Princess is a little girl out to rid the world of violent boys' toys...by violently destroying them and any who stand in her way. Also, she hates rock music. (No accounting for taste...) Her arsenal includes razor-edged flowers, exploding kitten dolls, and her toy flying unicorn, Powdered Sugar, which has some sort of beam weapon in its horn.

Go ahead and laugh, but she was more successful than Angry Archer. (much more)

Professor Princess attacked a toy store where Bulkhead and Sari Sumdac were shopping as part of her crusade to destroy "awful, violent toys" (oh, the irony...). In her opening attack, she succeeded in incapacitating Bulkhead. However, Sari weakened her with a concentrated attack of very loud music from a key-enchanced stereo, and Bulkhead pinched Powdered Sugar's laser horn as it was about to fire, causing it to explode. The wannabe supervillainess was left bawling in the middle of the street, her unicorn's decapitated head on her lap. Sound and Fury
Trivia
* Her "Powdered Sugar" flying unicorn doll somewhat resembles another Hasbro brand, My Little Pony. Way to advertise, Hasbro.

* Her theme music is similar to that of the main character from Sailor Moon.
