Blast Off doesn't need a write-up in some pathetic, grubby little human database. It might matter to some robots what others think of them, or if they think of them at all, but Blast Off could care less. No, he's literally and figuratively above your average Cybertronian riff-raff. The other Combaticons could completely forget he's up here, orbiting so far above the Earth, distant and alone... with only the cold, empty void for company... and he couldn't care less. No, certainly not.

Lesser robots could hardly understand the joy... yes, thats it, the joy, he finds in efficiently and remorselessly annihilating targets from such a great distance. Blast Off was quite simply "built better" than the rest, you see, and so needs nothing from those tiny beings moving about so... so very... far away below. Blast Off... Blast Off is quite happy with his superior position, yes, quite happy and... and quite alone.

Blast Off condecends to combine with his fellow Combaticons to form Bruticus.

Blast Off was one of several Decepticon political prisoners personality components that were "liberated" by Starscream. Somehow he turned from the chassis of a World War II bomber to a Space Shuttle once he was activated. He would probably place this on him being a sophisticated Transformer. Starscream's Brigade

Marvel Comics continuity
Blast Off, Lord of the Skies, was beaten up by a cloud. Sometime later, he and his fellow Combaticons were sent on a hunting mission by Decepticon command, and spent several weeks tracking and tormenting Blaster and the Throttlebots, who had recently interfered with their schemes. After being beaten by Blaster and Defensor in battle, though, Blast Off was slapped with a mode-lock device so that Blaster could remote control him, taking his human friends the Spacehikers for a spin around outer space. Unfortunately, Blaster was at odds with Autobot leader Grimlock at the time as well, and Blast Off and his passengers were forcibly captured by the Ark. The Decepticon later either escaped Autobot custody on his own, or was rescued along with Omega Supreme's victims by the Constructicons. Totaled!

Dreamwave continuity
Shortly after Optimus Prime became the new Autobot Supreme Commander, Blast Off took part in the Decepticon assault upon Iacon. Blast Off enjoyed strutting his stuff in his less aerodynamic but more heavily armed original form.

Millions of years later, Blast Off, along with his fellow Combaticons, was imprisioned by Shockwave, until they were released by Starscream.

When Sunstorm appeared on Earth, the battered Combaticons were ordered by Starscream to combine into Bruticus and deal with the crazed zealot. It did not end well.

The repaired Combaticons were brought to Guadalcanal where they could hone their somewhat lackluster combat skills and listen to Starscream's long-winded aspirations of glory. Starscream orders them to defeat the magnificent Autobot Sky Lynx as a means to train themselves for greater battles. Blast Off declared to Vortex to 'take [Sky Lynx] down', but unfortunately, the Combaticons do not fare well when the crafty Autobot splits into his two forms, and Blast Off is embarassingly grabbed in the flying form's jaws.

This was the least of their troubles, however, as Predaking showed up as soon as Sky Lynx was deactivated. This encounter also did not end well. The Route of All Evil

Frenzy is small, sneaky and... likes to keep up on current events. He's a hyper-articulated, hyper-active, sentient evil alien shape-changing robot from outer space that turns into various small electronics devices, depending on the situation at hand, and has a penchant for pantsing people. But he doesn't shrink (because that would be unrealistic), so he's quite a good contortionist. He's not that tough without his head, and he loses it frequently. In short, he's a creepy little abomination, with an irritating habit of reading over people's shoulders and jibbering at lightning speeds in his own tongue (not that we could understand him if he was talking slowly, but you get the idea).

He is neither red nor blue. Despite being a Decepticon, his optics are blue, rather than being red.
Fiction
Ghosts of Yesterday novel
Frenzy is the smallest member of the Nemesis' crew. He likes to sneak-attack from behind Autobots while they're concentrating on his larger teammates. He doesn't fare well in this particular battle but is presumably repaired at some future point.

Transformers the Game
When Barricade arrived in Tranquility, Starscream informed him that Frenzy had information they needed. When Barricade attempted to link up with him, he discovered that Frenzy had been captured by some armed humans. Frenzy was held captive in a small SUV (which seemed virtually indestructible) but Barricade eventually rescued him. Barricade later relayed to Starscream that Frenzy had discovered a lead on the All Spark...an artifact in the possession of a human named Sam.

Later, he served as Starscream's intelligence liason when the Decepticon's Acting-Commander was searching for Brawl and Bonecrusher, jabbering away in his own language.

Transformers (2007) film
:Voice actor: Reno Wilson (English)

A skittering little spaz, Frenzy smuggled himself aboard Air Force One disguised as a CD player boom-box. He made his way to the lower decks, carried by an unsuspecting flight attendant who was on a vital mission to the storage area to "rustle up some Ding-Dongs" for the President. Once left alone, he got into the server area, and began to simultaneously hack the national database and upload a virus, re-attempting the hack that Blackout had tried at the SOCCENT Base in Qatar earlier. This attempt was discovered by government agent Maggie Madsen, and the defense network was shut down in order to halt the hack. Frenzy was pissed, but he got the virus uploaded, which would later shut down global communications, and got a little bit of info on what he was looking for.

He was discovered by Secret Service agents, who he quickly dispatched with his machineguns and disc-blade launcher before hiding away in boombox form again. When Air Force One landed, he escaped through the landing gear, slipping into the awaiting Decepticon Barricade. After flipping the military the bird and complaining about how the "insects" shot at him, he informed Barricade of his new discovery: a man called Archibald Witwicky who had suspiciously displayed knowledge of Cybetronian writing. After a quick web-search using Barricade's on-board police department laptop, Frenzy determined their next target... a human called "LadiesMan217".

When Barricade was forced to go to robot mode in order to handle Bumblebee, he released Frenzy to chase the humans the Autobot was guarding. Frenzy managed to tackle his primary target and even managed to get his pants off him (kinky!), but the other human attacked him with a power saw she'd found and cut his head off. To add insult to injury, Sam punted the Decepticon's head away. It was actually to Frenzy's benefit, however, as he landed not too far from Mikaela's purse, which had spilled when Bumblebee had dumped them out earlier. Still alive and ambulatory despite losing most of his body mass, he speared and scanned Mikaela's cell phone, changed his form to match it, and hid out in her purse.

Frenzy stayed hidden, watching the activities of the humans and Autobots until they were taken to Hoover Dam. Frenzy slipped away then... and fell off the side of the dam, landing painfully at the bottom. This did allow him to sneak into the secret Sector Seven operations hangar deep within the dam, where both the AllSpark and Megatron had been kept for nearly a hundred years. He tapped into the AllSpark's power to restore his body, and sent a signal to Starscream, telling him that their prizes were here. As Starscream mobilized all the Decepticons on Earth, Frenzy went and killed a few technicians, letting him screw with the cryo-stasis machines that kept Megatron entombed, while Starscream destroyed the powerlines outside, allowing the Decepticon leader to escape.

When Agent Simmons, Secretary Keller, Maggie and Glen Whitmann ran to an ancient storage room to try and get a Morse Code message to the Air Force via shortwave radio, Frenzy followed. While Glen jury-rigged outdated machinery to send the messages, Simmons and Keller tried to shoot the diminutive Decepticon. Frenzy made it into the room via the air ducts, and sent a series of flying blades at the humans. One, however, ricocheted madly across the room, and took out most of Frenzy's head. With a muttered "oh shit", Frenzy collapsed.

:(Note: How fatal this actually was to Frenzy is up for debate. Though presumably his remains would have been gathered up by remaining Sector Seven personnel and disposed of with the other defeated Decepticons, he is not seen again after the storeroom attack. Creepy little bastard could still be out there with the other un-accounted-for Decepticons Barricade and Scorponok, skittering away like mad.)
*Disc Launch Decepticon Frenzy (Fast Action Battler, 2007)

: Like most of the Fast Action Battler toys, this one is fairly inaccurate to the CGI model due to actually having to turn into something (which the CGI model was not designed to do). It does, however, feature a launching disk that ejects from its chest as a pressure-launched projectile. This version of Frenzy transforms into a two-speaker stereo CD/cassette/radio.

*Decepticon Frenzy (Robot Replicas, 2007)

: The Robot Replicas non-Transforming action figure of Frenzy is considerably closer to the movie's CGI model. It features a second set of arms with his machine gun extensions that can be swapped with his normal ones.
*Autobot Jazz vs Decepticon Frenzy (Robot Heroes, 2007)

:Released with Robot Heroes Jazz, this version of Frenzy is the most adorably goofy razor blade death robot you ever saw.

::(Note: As of this update, this item has not been released.)

Trivia
* Frenzy is the only Decepticon in the movie whose whole robot mode was created as a real physical puppet for filming, used in certain shots aboard Air Force One. (They did make the lower half of frozen Megatron as a set piece, plus Scorponok's head and tail, but that's not quite the same thing.) He and Bumblebee are the only Transformers in the film to have full-body robot mode props.

* According to his profile card, Frenzy weighs 110 kilograms (242.5 pounds). How much of that mass would be discernible to a human lifting his stereo mode is unclear.

* Frenzy transforms into a real on-the-market GPX portable stereo... in the movie, at least. You know you want one. (His Fast Action Battler toy does not, and he's depicted in some storybooks as a more boxy made-up model.)

* Frenzy (or at very least, a robot who looked just liked him) was most certainly NOT in a cage in the back of the Sector Seven Mobile Command Unit. You were seeing things. It was swamp gas. No wait, a weather balloon. But DEFINITELY not a robot alien from outer space.

* The hardcover Movie Guide written by Simon Furman describes Frenzy as "quiet" and "not very talkative". Wonder what his definition of chatty is?

* Frenzy is the only Decepticon with blue optic lighting, though all of his toys paint them red.

* Frenzy along with his counterpart Barricade are the only Decepticons that if you were walking down A street would ACTUALLY blend into a civillian Background
:Frenzy is a Decepticon from the Movie continuity family.

:Working names: Boombot (first), Soundwave (second), Soundbyte (third)

*Barricade (Deluxe, 2007)
:Japanese ID number: MD-02

: Included with the larger Deluxe Barricade is a very out-of-scale Frenzy (putting him somewhere around 7 feet tall) that folds up to become the larger 'Con's grill in both vehicle and robot mode. It is barely poseable and falls over as easily as Generation 1 Ravage.

*Bumblebee vs. Barricade: First Encounter (Deluxe Multi-pack, 2007)

: This Wal-Mart exclusive deluxe package comes with an unaltered Bumblebee, Barricade and, by extension, Frenzy.

*Recon Barricade (Deluxe, 2007)

:Frenzy is blue! Coming with the Barricade redeco, Frenzy similarly gets a new color scheme.

Fiction
Generation 1 animated continuity
Blast Off was one of several Decepticon political prisoners personality components that were "liberated" by Starscream. Somehow he turned from the chassis of a World War II bomber to a Space Shuttle once he was activated.

Ghosts of Yesterday prequel novel
Starscream had ascended to Decepticon leadership in the absence of their former lord, and though he must "seem" to carry on the long search for the lost Megatron and the All Spark to keep his position as leader, his greatest hope was that Megatron NEVER be found. Some loyal Decepticons, especially Blackout, strongly suspect this and sought to frustrate Starscream's self-serving plans. Barricade buddies up with him, but he does like to trick people. ====Sector Seven Alternate Reality Game====

Starscream (Disguised as a F-15 Eagle fighter jet) was active on Earth in early 1982, with documented sightings of jets sporting his unique colors on several continents before he was caught on camera transforming to robot mode in California. This sighting (and its subsequent leak) was the direct impetus for Hungry Dragon 1.

This seemingly contradicts Starscream's 2003 arrival on Earth in the 'Prime Directives' prequel comic, though it's possible Starscream simply concealed an earlier visit to Earth because he had no desire for the Decepticons to find Megatron.
*Protoform Starscream (Deluxe, 2007)
:Japanese ID number: MD-05

:Based upon the 'Protoform' (Cybertronian) appearances of the Transformers in the Movie, Protoform Starscream transforms into his 'Entry' mode cybertronic rocket thing. This mode somewhat resembles a cybertronic spaceship, with a visible bridge between the two dorsal fins. A flame decoration piece fits to the back of the 'vehicle' over the missile projectile, creating the illusion of a flaming comet's tail. The bottom of the vehicle has small wheels to roll the toy across smooth surfaces.

:In robot mode, Starscream marginally resembles previous Starscreams, mostly G1 Starscream, with the large turbines on his chest, wings and vents on his legs. Due to his extensive use of ball joints, he has excellent articulation. Starscream is armed with a spring-loaded missile launcher that fires the previously mentioned projectile cast in the same bronze colour as his body. Alternatively, the flame decoration can be fitted onto the end of the barrel.

:This toy also has an Automorphing feature, as most of the figures in the main line do. By pushing his head back during transformation, his shoulder pieces move back into place, while moving them forward will make the head pop back up. While either the missile or the flame can be placed into the gun, the flame can be placed onto the missile, using both at once.

: It's also entirely possible for this figure to eventually suffer from GPS, as the bronze plastic it is cast in has the same characteristic swirling that older figures exhibited before it would deteriorate. However, newer materials and processes may prevent the toy from ever seeing a single crack form. It is highly suggested that this toy not be painted or altered in any way to maximize its life span. This means YOU, kitbashers.

*Starscream (Voyager, 2007)
:Japanese ID number: MD-08

: The Voyager-class version of Movie Starscream transforms into a very inaccurate, though officially-licensed Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet. For reasons unknown, Starscream is a tan/taupe coloring, with rather 'backwards' paint details: on Starscream parts painted gray are metallic on the real F-22, and parts painted silver (such as the edges of his wings) are actually supposed to be gray.

:However, most Starscream's vehicle mode inaccuracies are down to his very design and structure. He has almost no engine details to speak of, the rear stabilizers are the wrong shape (and of extremely simple sculpt) and his head and feet are blatantly visible. Starscream also almost certainly has the most undercarriage junk of any transformer based on a real-life plane ever made, with his legs creating a large and blocky fuselage section and some huge and very prominent triple-barrel Gatling missile launchers mounted under each wing. Pushing the fighter along a smooth surface causes the barrels to rotate and fire their projectiles, which can also be stored in the black flip-up braces on the launchers.

:During transformation, pushing up upon the canopy fuselage piece activates Starscream's Automorphing gimmick which pushes panels out of the torso, wings and stabilizers. In robot mode, Starscream is mostly faithful to his movie CGI model, except for being bulkier around his chest, lacking engines on his back and the very large Gatling cannons serving as his arms (a facsimile of his much more slender weapons from the movie). Interestingly, his projectile missiles are sculpted to resemble fingers, should users choose keep them loaded while Starscream is in robot mode.

:This toy was later retooled and redecoed into Movie Thundercracker.

*Battle Blade Starscream (Fast Action Battler, 2007)

: Fast Action Battlers "Battle Blade" Starscream transforms into a somewhat superdeformed F-22 Raptor, simplifying the overall design to the point of his feet noticeably sticking out the aft of the fighter, and a truncated transformation sequence reminiscent of past Transformers such as Generation 1 Jetfire and Cybertron Thundercracker. Rather than having a separate weapon, he only has a claw-like blade that flips over the right hand (hence "Battle Blade") and a missile in the palm of his left hand.

: Legends-class Starscream is a highly simplified, low-cost version of Starscream in his F-22 Raptor body. As such, he has a greatly compromised transformation sequence due to the smaller parts count, with limited articulated and detailing. He's also the bronzest F-22 Raptor Starscream toy there is.
:A non-transformable version of Starscream, cast primarily in chalk grey plastic. It can rotate the arms at the shoulder. The toy's main gimmick, though, is the wheel in his chest. Striking the wheel causes it to advance to the next slot, revealing damage to Starscream's torso. A second tap reveals even more damage. Despite being a free pack in toy, the figure is surprisingly well molded, having well defined head parts, and the twin afterburners on his back (that even the voyager lacks). It even has six fingers (or rather, four fingers and two thumbs) on each hand!

Trivia
* The card back of Protoform Starscream's packaging features a him with a completely different, earlier head sculpt. What's more, this head design is featured on his Protoform body in IDW's movie prequel comics.

* It has been suggested that, following his attack on the F-22 squadron over the city, Starscream was able to hide among the survivors and take part in the attack on Megatron shortly thereafter. This theory is speculative (though plausible) and has yet to receive any official confirmation. (Roberto Orci was asked, but refused to give a definite answer.)

In 2003, Starscream's infiltration team consisting of Barricade and Blackout touch down on Mars and destroyed the Beagle 2 Mars rover.

Splitting up, they head to Earth, where Starscream scans an F-22 Raptor fighter jet being tested by the US Air Force at Nellis Air Force base. He destroyed it, then adopted the vehicle form for himself. Leaving the scene of destruction, he radioed his fellow Decepticons to report in on their hunt for new disguise forms, which they do. He reiterated that their mission is to find the Allspark, to which Blackout reminds him the mission is also to find Megatron. Starscream merely replies "Yeah, right... him too."

Later, Starscream and Blackout detected the unique radiation of the Allspark and investigate, but Starscream soon realizes it was a trap by Sector Seven. Starscream destroyed several AH-64 Apache helicopters while Blackout attacked Sector Seven's bunker and attempted to hack into their mainframe. When the humans severed the connection, the Decepticons broke off from the battle and linked up with Barricade, who was in pursuit of the Autobot Bumblebee.

Starscream was lying in wait at a US air base when covert agent Frenzy reported that the All Spark had been located, along with Megatron, underneath Hoover Dam. Though he had long feared this day would come, Starscream nevertheless ordered the rest of the Decepticons to move out. The others responded, with Blackout rallying in the name of Megatron, perhaps as a warning.

The first to arrive, Starscream attacked the hydro-electricity power plant attached to the dam to cause havok to Sector Seven's operations and to speed the thawing of Megatron. With Frenzy's sabotage, Megatron eventually broke free of his icy restraints and escaped the facility and met with the waiting Starscream. Demanding to know what happened to the All Spark, Megatron was told by his second in command that it was now in the possession of the humans. Furious, Megatron berated him for yet another failure.

During the assault on a nearby city, Starscream fooled Captain Lennox's unit by posing as an F-22 Raptor providing cover. Starscream launched and attack that crippled Bumblebee as Ironhide realized too late who the fighter really was. As ladiesman217 ran with the All Spark, Starscream swooped down, blocking his path, only to be attacked by both Ironhide and Ratchet. Besting them, Starscream took to the skies again as real F-22 Raptors from the US Air Force finally arrived.

Pretending to be a part of their squadron, Starscream surprised the human pilots by transforming in mid-air and, while pulling the most impressive Jet Judo routine in 20 years, easily destroyed several of the Raptors before he was fired upon and had to reassume his disguise to confuse the pilots. While Megatron attempted to retrieve the All Spark from Sam, Starscream perched on nearby buildings, but eventually disappeared and was not seen in the closing moments of the battle.

Most of the Decepticons were defeated, and their bodies cast into the deepest part of the ocean. Ultimately, Starscream retreated from Earth to parts unknown. Transformers (2007)
Sector Seven game continuity
During late April/Early May of 2007, Sector Seven has intercepted two sound clips through agent Cod3x and another source. Apparently, Starscream wanted to make his presence known and left a message announcing that he would have the All Spark, and that Agent Powers would be the one to hand it over. These messages were somewhat garbled, as they were apparently received over a SETI@home system. So far, only these two "blips" have been analysed (the second still needing work), but more may come in the near future. Sector Seven (game)

*Lunchables "Pocket Transformers" toy prize (2007)

:Free inside specially marked boxes of Oscar Meyer Lunchables dinners, Starscream was one of six "Pocket Transformers" toy prizes. Molded in green, his tablet unfolds to reveal a picture of his robot mode inside.

:The Lunchables website code engraved on his back is "MISLEAD."

*Starscream Micro Flyer (2007)

*Starscream Burger King free toy (2007)

The President of the United States is a character in several Transformers stories.

Generation 1
Marvel Comics
Optimus Prime met with the President on the lawn of the White House to ask for peace, sort out an understanding, and perhaps form an alliance. Their handshake was cut short by an attack from the Insecticons, who attempted to sabotage the union by claiming to be Autobots. The Autobots forced the Insecticons into retreat but left immediately themselves, deciding that the President wouldn't believe they were framed. To the contrary, the President did give the Autobots the benefit of the doubt -- until, that is, they left without an explanation.

(Note: The President of the United States refers to Optimus Prime as a "lorry," which is what they call trucks in England, but not in America. None of the kids who read Marvel UK comics probably noticed, in writer Simon Furman's defense.)

(Another note: This story, from the 1985 UK Annual, is generally held to not be canon to the main comics, including as it does several contradictions to later (and former) events in the stories (most notably the Insecticons' origins).)

Years later, the next President was alarmed when a Decepticon civil war erupted near New York City and threatened to hurt innocents. He asked G.B. Blackrock to call his Neo-Knights into action.

Dreamwave Comics
Prime Directive
The President flew to the Pentagon, where he was greeted by Defense Minister Dawson. Dawson briefed him on the Decepticon assault on San Francisco, and suggested an air strike. But before a military solution could be devised, Dawson was informed that a nuclear launch had been authorized (by General Robert Hallo, unbeknownst to either man). The President tried to abort the launch, to no avail. During this crisis, he displayed a level of concern that could only be adequately portrayed by Pat Lee's unique command of facial expressions.

Keepers Trilogy
Associated Characters
The Vice-President
The Vice-President is the President's attack dog. He goes to pick up Allister Greaves in person after his spy in the Executive office is revealed.

Greaves isn't much impressed by the Vice-President, he has too many skeletons in his closet. Greaves threatens to release documentation of the Vice-President's tryst with a minor girl in Topeka to the media. The Vice-President dis-involves himself from further direct contact with Greaves.

John
John is the Secretary of State. He is one of the President's confidantes in his plan to kidnap General Michelle Grajkowski and frame her for the attack on the Autobots.

Bill
Bill is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. He, along with John, are the President's confidantes in his plan to frame General Michelle Grajkowski.

Elisa
Elisa is the President of the United State's secretary. She speaks several languages, and always answers the phone with a different accent. A member of the Followers, she sectetly gives Edmund Greaves information about goings-on in the Executive Office.

When Greaves requested information about the Keepers, Elisa promised to send him a synopsis of the upcoming cabinet meeting about them, and then requested Greaves try to remove the Followers agents from Las Vegas, which she felt had become too dangerous. He agreed to try.

The President became aware of Elisa's 'second job,' and when she called Greaves to warn him that the attack on Las Vegas had been pushed up, she was killed. A CIA agent informed Greaves the President very much wanted to speak with him, and a car was being sent.

Elisa's death shook Greaves badly, and was one of his prime motivations to go public with the Followers.

Elisa is probably the source of at least some of the blackmail material Greaves has on the President and the Vice President.

Susan
Susan replaced Elisa as the President of the United State's secretary. An unattractive woman with a tough-as-nails attitude, she takes her job as the President's gatekeeper very seriously, once refusing to let the Secretary of State through because he hadn't phoned ahead for an appointment.

Susan may be based on the character Deborah Fiderer from the TV show The West Wing.

Unicron Trilogy
Cybertron
Yes, she is a girl.

The President was never named, but she knew about the Transformers during Colonel Franklin's investigation of them. A hologram of her was used by Reverb to disguise his lack of driver. Apparently no one questioned reasoning for the leader of the free world to be driving around in a go-cart.

Transformers (2007)
The President seems almost insignificant during the Decepticon invasion, with Secretary of Defense John Keller pretty much running the show. Mostly, he wears red socks, has a penchant for Ding Dongs and speaks with a cheesy southwestern accent and stereotypical dialect ("Can you rangle me up some Ding Dongs darlin'?"). He also seems unconcerned with tiny crazy robots hacking into the computers of his ride, that is until he's thrown in a bunker somewhere after the resulting emergency landing.

Trivia
*The President never appeared in the original animated series, but he did have a cameo in Inhumanoids, one of Transformers "sister series" produced by Sunbow and arguably set in the same continuity. Appearing only as a voice from offscreen speaking to his aides in The Surma Plan in 1986, the President of the United States was a soft-spoken man concerned about the future but full of faith in the better nature of humanity.

Mostly, he wears red socks, has a penchant for Ding Dongs and speaks with a cheesy southwestern accent with stereotypical dialect ("Can you rangle me up some Ding Dongs darlin'?"). He also seems unconcerned with tiny crazy robots hacking into the computers of his ride.

He was portrayed by voice actor Neil Ross, also a great communicator.
When Sam's father promises to buy him his first car, he takes him to Bobby Bolivia (much to Sam's chagrin). After telling his mechanic Manny to remove the heat-stroke-afflicted clown from the sidewalk because he's "scarin' the white folk", Bobby feeds the father/son pair his "mystical bond" line, and takes them on a tour of the lot.

Bobby agrees to sell Sam a mysterious "custom faded paint" Camaro he's never seen on his lot before for $4000, a thousand less than his made-up-on-the-spot asking price... but only after the windows of every other car on the lot are mysteriously shattered by a high-pitched noise.

Bobby's mother lives in sight of his car dealership, and apparently he has wronged her in some way. Their relationship is summarized by her flipping him off and him wishing he had a rock to "bust her head with". Hopefully prequel material will address this.
