Is it me, or have they changed the power of insecticons -again-? Crossfire - One is almost too much for Megatron, Armada - They go down like flies, Tunnel Vision - One seems not to even -feel- when it gets shot. 125.239.114.28 08:20, 7 May 2012 (EDT)
: Well in Crossfire and Armada they were under Airachnid's mind control, so during Armada her attention was divided and could theoretically make the insecticons less effective. Now that they are independent, their effectiveness goes back to what we saw in Orion Pax Part 3. Of course, if another episode later shows multiple insecticons dropping like flies this theory is scrap.--Megabob452 13:20, 7 May 2012 (EDT)
:: That... is an awesome explanation. So Megatron controls them through loyalty, Airachnid through mind control. Wonder what'll happen if Shockwave ever appears. 222.153.251.249 00:11, 8 May 2012 (EDT)
:::Here's another thought, a lack of energon. Skyquake seemed to be in some kind of stasis device when he was introduced. Starscream's energon infusion to both appaerntly open the container and reawaken Skyquake. We have no idea how long the Insecticon in Crossfire was out of it's stasis pod, but it was out of the pod when we first see it. In Armada Airachnid releases the Insecticons from their pods before sending them to attack the Nemisis and destroy Megatron. It could be that prolonged duration in stasis weakens a Transformer and they need to get an energon infusion to get back to full strength. That would likely also explain the difference in the Insecticons strength levels between episodes, by Tunnel Vision the Insecticons have finally had a little energon and their up to full strength making them tougher in battle. -annonymous 5/8/2012 12:48 AM EST
Or even for someone who knows how to get in tough with the right people (which I have no real knowledge of how to do so) to contact and see if their willing to say anything. It may be something worth noting that Skyquake didn't show any signs of weakness (save for not having a alt form) when he came out of his container while the insecticons clearly did. But it's not worth noting any of these theories in the actual pages until we have an offical explination of some kind. - annonymous 5/09/2012

::We don't know for certain if Unicron is dead or not, only that Prime may have succeeded in extinguishing his spark. However, Energon is supposed to come from Primus and according to what's revealed in One Shall Rise Primus became one with the Core of Cybertron. Cybertron's supposed to be a dead planet. If Cybertron is dead, then wouldn't Primus be dead? If Primus is dead, then shouldn't energon be useless if dark energon becomes useless if Unicron is dead?
::::Agreed. The Warship hasn't even been named on the show, so who knows if it is in fact "The Nemesis", yet alone Trypticon. ==Soundwave==
Soundwave also shows signs of sentience, since the beginning he has only showed his opposition to Airachnid's command back in Orion Pax.
Now, when Trypticon ( or the Nemesis ) gave Megs a headache just like Unicron did, and Megatron said to regain control of the vessel, Soundwave acts weirdly, he tries to set things back quickly, as opposed to everything he has done before, he does everything smoothly and without any hurrying.
Does this need to be pointed ?
--User:SnipinScientist , 29 April 2012
:Uh, when was it ever claimed that Soundwave is non-sentient? --abates 18:32, 29 April 2012 (EDT)
::Seems to me Soundwave showed sentience back in Masters and Students when he sent his deployer to observe Starscream "rescue" Megatron rather than just blindly following Starscream's orders to observe Skyquake terminate Prime. And again in Sick Mind when he basically orders Starscream and Knockout to reattach Megatron's life support after Arcee shot it off. Oh and going bak to Darkness Rising Part 5 he chooses to deliberately cut the ground line with the axe, clearly knowing that by doing so no one can change the direction the radio dish is locked onto. Soundwave doesn't speak, that's not failing to show signs of sentience. Oh and it was One Shall Rise Part 3, not any part of Orion Pax, where Soundwave opposed Airachnid's attempted takeover. -annonymous 5/4/2012 8:53 AM EST
