[...] Scourge will have always been in his BotCon 2009 body, Hot Rod in his Universe Legends body and so on. As time goes on there will be more subtle, and not so subtle, differences."</ref> It has been depicted in Fun Publications comics and prose stories, the first of which was titled "Wings of Honor".
Overview
Most of the Wings of Honor stories are set in Cybertron's distant past, at the outbreak of the Great War. They establish that there was an Autobot Elite Guard at that time, from whose winged insignia the title is derived. Some action also occurs in a nebulously modern setting, but so far only as a framing device. In one of those instances, Nexus Prime declares that this universe has some sort of importance to him and his quest, though he doesn't know exactly what.

In broad strokes this continuity hews to the universe of the original cartoon, but the series creators have declared that it will diverge in some details. For example, the fact that the young Elite Guardsman Kup is surrounded mostly by characters who never appeared in the cartoon helps avoid problems of relative age... but there are still a few questionable cases.

Timeline
Writer and editor Pete Sinclair has given the following timeline for events in the Wings of Honor continuity:
:Aequitas is an Autobot supercomputer from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Aequitas is a giant non-sentient computer that serves as the judge and jury for the Autobot prison Garrus-9, its culpability drive devoted entirely to calculating... guilt. In the courtroom of its chamber, it is given the evidence and testimony surrounding a case, then judges the suspect's very spark to see if it's found wanting, and whether or not the prisoner deserves rehabilitation or the mercy of spark extraction.

It also has one serious hell of a password-bypass security system that makes one hope the bosses are really good at not forgetting their passwords.

Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
The many trials of Autobot war criminals using Aequitas sickened everyone who heard them, to the extent that Chief Justice Tyrest ruled that the records would be kept secret until after the war. Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 5

After discovering that Garrus-9 had fallen to the Decepticons, Prowl had Ultra Magnus relay a new objective to Springer: Aequitas, a name both 'bots recognized. Prowl didn't want the Decepticons getting access to a potential propaganda goldmine like the records of countless Autobot-committed atrocities. Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 5 Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 2

Springer then brought it up again while debriefing the Wreckers on their mission objectives. After the first objective of rescuing the trapped Autobots from the now Decepticon-occupied prison, the second objective was not to kill the ringleader Overlord, but to find Aequitas, as it also being trapped among the Decepticons was a Very Bad Thing. Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 2

After the Wreckers infiltrated the prison, Perceptor's team made their way down to Aequitas's chamber, where it was protected by walls rendered impenetrable by vibrating at a special frequency. Topspin and Pyro were curious as to what Aequitas was—since only Perceptor seemed to know—wondering if it was "a Prime-killer [or] a spark eater".

Perceptor, meanwhile, wondered why the Decepticons hadn't been trying to break in, only to discover they had been, by using a dismembered and comatose Fortress Maximus as a "living lock pick". After detaching Maximus from the door and inputting the appropriate access codes, the chamber door opened to reveal Aequitas to the curious Wreckers. Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 3

When Perceptor revealed that Aequitas was a supercomputer, and that their mission was to download its contents, the other Wreckers were all less-than-impressed and advocated simply leaving before the Decepticons broke in. Still, Perceptor moved to initiate the download in spite of the protests, explaining to a questioning Pyro the computer's purpose.

Unfortunately, he soon hit a snag—the computer was password-protected, and everyone who knew the password was out of commission. Instead the computer would have to be rebooted via its alternate method—that of lethal spark donation from a completely willing and non-coerced subject.

Since Perceptor was needed to operate the computer, and Topspin and Twin Twist's branched spark meant that a sacrifice from Topspin would kill them both, that left Pyro and Ironfist. Pyro was decidedly unhappy about this, pointing out that he had better and more glorious plans for his eventual death than being a redshirt sacrifice to a computer, and that Ironfist should do it, as he had, as a laboratory-bound inventor, led less of a "worthy" life.

After a moment of personal reflection, Ironfist was willing to agree to be the sacrifice. Until Topspin spoke up, revealing that he knew through his link that Twin Twist was about to be tortured to death elsewhere anyway, so he would rather have them go out with a measure of dignity.

The computer accepted Topspin's spark and rebooted itself. Perceptor then downloaded the contents of the computer into Ironfist's brain and wiped the computer's hard drive, and the knowledge of the truth in Aequitas's banks shook Ironfist's psyche.

By then, the Decepticons were about to break into the chamber. Perceptor noted that Aequitas could be used to activate the deterrence chips and kill all of the ex-prisoners, which would include their pursuers... and Impactor. It was a put to a vote: Perceptor voted yea, Pyro voted nay, and Ironfist used Aequitas's data to pass judgment by proxy that yes, Impactor deserved to die. Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 4

Although Verity convinced the Autobots not to use the deterrence chips, Ironfist used Aequitas' information to figure out the remote detonation code. Loading a gun with thousands of the chips which Springer used to shoot Overlord, Ironfist used the code to detonate the chips. The backlash from this rendered Ironfist unconscious. When he came to, Overlord was defeated. On the trip back to meet up with Ultra Magnus, Ironfist created a single copy of all of Aequitas' information. Sadly, Ironfist died from a terminal injury incurred in a lab accident, and the copy was handed over to Prowl. After a discussion with Ultra Magnus on the possible damage that could be caused if the Autobot rank-and-file knew what sort of monsters lived in their ranks, Prowl was left alone; Magnus said he thought it would be a disservice to both of them if he considered Prowl likely to destroy the copy and looked at it himself first.

Then Prowl contemplated exactly what to do with the Aequitas dataslug, and started to apply some...pressure Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 5

Notes
*Did Prowl really destroy the data chip or did he preserve it after all? :::::Her character is retroactively from the Great War/G1. *rethinks-previous-statement* You know, this version of Roulette could easily be a dude, if Jhiaxus or whoever hadn't made him into a her. ::::::Heh heh, yeah. It depends on how the "female genome" is spread, I guess. Maybe later Roulette realizes he was meant to be a she all along. (There's probably a weird but interesting story in there somewhere.) -hx 06:35, 16 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::::If we're going to acknowledge Roulette exists in IDW continuity, I think the femmebot with the blatently copied color scheme from AHM #14 should get recognized. --Xaaron 18:41, 17 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::::::I accept your challenge! I am now holding Universe #1 and AHM #14 side-by-side. Gold helmet, gray face, blue eyes, gold and gray chestplate, purple and gold on the legs, vehicle kibble on the thighs...uh, yeah. It's not an absolutely slavish recreation, but for comparing a Cybertronian mode to an Earth mode, I'd say it's a damn near perfect match. --Xaaron 20:39, 17 September 2010 (EDT)
::::::::::We've seen Roulette's Cybertronian mode! And the colors are all totally jumbled and in the wrong proportions. I would say the generic's color scheme is reminiscent of Roulette, but is absolutely not in any way Roulette-enough to be considered her. Much in the same way that the dude she's with is so totally not Side Burn, despite folks' claims. --ItsWalky 20:47, 17 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::::::::We saw two modes for Roulette, before and after the Cauldron. Both had your standard Earth-like tires, and none of the Cybertronian sleekness or hover-stylings we've seen on other characters. Even if we had previously seen A Cybertronian mode for her, though, IDW has created numerous NEW Cybertronians designs for characters (Megatron, Ratbat, Blaster, Arcee, etc.). It's a female Cybertronian, in Roulette's basic color scheme, in a role close to Sunstreaker, whom she was connected with at her introduction. We've made positive IDs on far less than that before. Not acknowledging that femmebot as Roulette is one thing, but ignoring her AND saying this unseen, undescribed male Transformer IS her IDW counterpart just seems bizarre. --Xaaron 22:41, 17 September 2010 (EDT)
::::::::::::Maybe if the AHM female had Roulette's head... I mean, if we color a random guy <strike>like Wheeljack</strike> approximately sort of in Wheeljack's colors, does it make him Wheeljack? --ItsWalky 22:44, 17 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::::::::::Wheeljack has possibly the most distinctive head in the history of Transformers, so that comparison doesn't really work -- Roulette is just another face-in-helmet variation. And again, the femmebot's helmet is approximately the same as Roulette's: length-wise cheek panels, "chin-strap", sloped ridge on the forehead, two points on top. Is every detail an artistically perfect recreation? No. But neither were IDW's Cybertronian mode Skram, or Road Rocket, or Primus-knows how many other redesigns. --Xaaron 10:49, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::::::::Maybe someone should just flat-out ask James on the IDW board, he frequents it enough. I just think it's a case similar to "Wing" in Drift # 1. Cool name, randomly chosen. --Nu-Priest 22:33, 17 September 2010 (EDT)

Guys... are you seriously having an argument about bending over backwards to explain why a one-note male character should be the same character as a female from another universe? - Chris McFeely 11:10, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
: I think we stopped talking about the Dude Roulette ages ago. Now we're talking about the girl-who-sorta-looks-like-Roulette-because-she-has-similarish-colors-but-a-different-head-which-we-will-ignore. --ItsWalky 11:25, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
::Basically, I'm arguing that if a femmebot clearly based on Roulette colors/appearance ISN'T her IDW counterpart, then a description-less text-only male TF who happens to share the same name shouldn't be Roulette's counterpart either. Ignoring the AHM femmebot is one thing; recognizing a character even LESS like Roulette in lieu of her is another. There should be a separate page for the dude-bot under Roulette (IDW) or Roulette (male) or something. --Xaaron 12:03, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
Nick Roche (born September 5, 1979 ) is an Irish comic book artist and writer for IDW Publishing.
Nick Roche is a native of County Wexford, but currently resides in Dublin, Ireland. Having always been a massive Transformers fan, Roche's produced artwork for fan fiction and UK convention publications, gaining a healthy fanbase within the UK, but remaining almost entirely unknown outside of the tight-knit UK fandom.

He pitched his work to Dreamwave Productions but had no response, something he's glad about in hindsight; he notes "at the time, I'd have worked for free but it turns out everyone else at Dreamwave was doing that anyway". Nick finally got his break into Transformers when IDW Publishing acquired the Transformers license. He's also penciled numerous covers for the different Transformers series, including a piece for the Target 2006 reprints featuring the original team of Wreckers, the covers for the Metrodome DVD sets of Super-God Masterforce and Victory, and a special comic and a piece of artwork packed with Madman Entertainment's Generation 1 DVD set. ==Notes==
* Nick Roche's art style is instantly recognizable in a comic due to his semi-stylized lines. According to him, he just "makes the hands bigger and the pointy bits pointier", and he would like to draw with "Senior's energy, Wildman's expressiveness and Yaniger's chins!". He is also noted for being able to change his drawing style. He says he finds he does change it automatically depending on the story, such as upping the cartooniness for "Spotlight Hot Rod" and toning it down for a story from Prowl's point of view.
* He has admitted to being "gay for Hot Rod".
* He is also the first Transformers celebrity to have interviewed another Transformers celebrity.
Is there a reason the actual answers from other sites can't be archived here ("think of the children", if anything happens to another site)? I realize that as each round comes in those answers act as a "draw" for each site, but surely older rounds could be written up here. Perhaps a round of answers could be added after two rounds of subsequent questions. Khajidha 11:49, 23 December 2009 (EST)
:Alternatively, rather than a verbatim cut-and-paste of the answers, which other sites could (rightly) argue belongs to them, we could summarize the answers. Especially for a previous round, I don't see this as impacting their site. --Jimsorenson 11:51, 23 December 2009 (EST)
:::I'd rather not summarize the answers either. Let the sites have their content. We link them for all the answers, and if the answers are useful, they're integrated into the site where they're applicable. --ItsWalky 11:58, 23 December 2009 (EST)
Should we discuss the overall quality of the Q&A here?
I'm referring to stuff like "depending on who is assigned to answer a site's questions, the site may get useless PR-washed non-answers that often miss the actual point entirely, instead reacting to certain keywords in the question and giving out what seems like pre-written stock answers that vaguely match those keywords, or slightly more useful answers written by an actual human being who shows an ounce of humor and personality and likes to insert specifically highlighted hints even where more concrete answers aren't possible"?--Nevermore 07:45, 25 December 2009 (EST)
:The Wiigiis don't like it when we make fun of Hasbro's Q&A. Hooper told me off for even suggesting making mild light of the answers on the front page, a few months back when we got bad PR company answers. --FFN 07:54, 25 December 2009 (EST)
:::That analysis strikes me as an activity best done off-line (or at least elsewhere.) I think the "Wiigiis" have a very reasonable concern about not biting the hand that feeds them. --Jimsorenson 09:29, 25 December 2009 (EST)
::::Well, let me know what you folks come up with, then, I guess, as the wiki and the message boards are my only avenue for talking about wiki stuff. (Not that I can get how simply noting that certain types of questions are more what Hasbro wants to answer than others qualifies as "biting the hand that feeds you". Seems more like doing Hasbro a favor by not wasting their time with questions they can't/won't answer.) --Jeysie 09:35, 25 December 2009 (EST)
::::(Or to put it another way, that's nice, but private chit-chats between a circle of friends don't really do anything to inform everyone else involved who wants to be able to constructively contribute. (Which goes for a lot more than just the Q&As, really.)) --Jeysie 09:47, 25 December 2009 (EST)
:::::OH NOOO THE WIIGIIIIIIIS! THEY DID IT THEY ARE MEAN!!! Seriously, dude, the reason I jumped on someone's shit is 'cause Hasbro doesn't even have to do this thing. Sitting here right next to where the answers are posted and talking about how shitty the answers are seems to be inviting them to, uh, uninvite us. Do it on your talk page or something. Then we can just say we don't actually know you. -hx 11:51, 25 December 2009 (EST)
::::::While talking bad about Hasbro's answers might be a bad idea, I like Jeysie's first point that maybe we should try harder to ask questions that they can answer and not those that would be unlikely to be answered due to messing with Hasbro's future plans. Khajidha 18:12, 25 December 2009 (EST)
:::::::We do try very very hard when we pick these things. It's hard to guess just what will get a response from them and what they just won't know, or which they'll ignore the greater question and phone in some nonsense marketing speak. And sometimes 90% of the questions we have to pull from kind of aren't answerable, leaving us with maybe two or three questions that are kinda meh, but have a bigger chance of success. It would take a much much greater sample of questions to kind of learn exactly what makes this whole thing tick, rather than learning from 3 questions every 2 and a half months. Especially when sometimes it's just luck... --ItsWalky 18:41, 25 December 2009 (EST)
::::::::There's a difference between "pointing out that official interaction with Hasbro has flaws" and "being unfairly mean towards Hasbro". Pointing out that something Hasbro does isn't automatically "biting the hand that feeds us", and we've criticized Hasbro in many places on the Wiki (particularly in the Hasbro article). What I'm saying is that the Q&A article should include a quick write-up of the overall proceedings so far, with a fair and balanced description of the results as observed up to this point. And with "fair and balanced", I mean neither "negatively biased" nor "leaving out all the negative". As it stands, the Q&A article is just a portal. It's not descriptive enough.--Nevermore 10:34, 26 December 2009 (EST)
:::::::::Why is being a mere portal wrong? Why does it have to be descriptive? --ItsWalky 10:36, 26 December 2009 (EST)
:::::::::I think it is the answers themselves that are important and interesting. Meta-analysis of the responses themselves seems strange. Not so much biting the hand that feeds us but more like looking a gift horse in the mouth. Kind of rude. - Starfield 10:43, 26 December 2009 (EST)
::::::::::I have to admit there is a certain wiki sense of logic about creating an article about the Q&A, much like we create articles about other Hasbro things. It might be useful as a sort of summary of what information we have and haven't learned from it, without being judgmental against Hasbro.
::::::::::But mostly I'd just like to try and work towards solving the "90% of the questions we get aren't useful" issue by coming up with some sort of guidelines of what types of questions we want to encourage people to ask, in the sense of being both likely to be answered and useful to the wiki specifically. (Kind of like how the Allspark has a "don't ask questions about when we'll get Toy X" guideline.) Trying to generate more productive questions benefits both us and Hasbro. --Jeysie 11:01, 26 December 2009 (EST)
:::::::::::It's kinda difficult when "luck" is a major factor, though. See the Wiki's Constructicon answer vs. TFviews' one. If you're lucky, your question gets assigned to someone who is actually capable of coming up with human responses. If you're less lucky, you get the marketing bot that spits out stock answers based on keywords in the question.--Nevermore 11:15, 26 December 2009 (EST)
:::::::::::::It generally seems like if you put something nitpicky in there (talking explicitly about "hey who was that one dude who was in the back in that one shot" versus "we don't have names for all the constructicons") it gets sent to whoever deals with picked nits. That seem like a reasonable statement? -hx 11:21, 26 December 2009 (EST)
::::::::::::::So in other words, if we want actual answers rather than PR-washed stock information, we should make our questions seem nitpicky?--Nevermore 08:00, 27 December 2009 (EST)
:::::::::::::::If we're asking about things like the Constructicons, yes. Going broad gets you the WELL DUH answer. And then sometimes, the only reason you're getting an answer is if they feel like they're ready to talk about it (the question this go-round about instruction sheets. That seems like something they were willing to announce anyway.) -hx 08:51, 27 December 2009 (EST)

Leozack (レオザック Reozakku) is the commander of the elite Decepticon Breastforce and notionally Deathsaurus's most trusted warrior...except he really can't be trusted at all. Leozack despises being anything less than the top 'bot and is constantly struggling to have it all—including leadership of the Decepticons. Unlike those that have come before, however, Leozack is smart enough to keep his ambitions hidden from his emperor, preferring to gather the resources and power necessary to fuel his dreams of conquest in secret. The thing is, Deathsaurus is fully aware of Leozack's dreams and schemes, and to say that he doesn't rate Leozack as a threat would be putting it mildly. In Deathsaurus's eyes, Leozack is an overzealous youth with ideas above his station, and while he conceals his awareness of Leozack's treachery from him, he never misses a chance to make his contempt for Leozack well-known. This drives Leozack absolutely crazy, and he often takes irrational risks trying to prove to Deathsaurus that he is a capable warrior.

As a member of the Breastforce, Leozack is partnered with a transforming breastplate which can detach and transform into his Breast Animal partner, the Lionbreast, or the handheld "Leo Cannon". Like his fellow Breastforcers, Leozack also wields an Electromagnetic Nunchaku. Leozack can combine with his fellow Breastforce warriors into Liokaiser, forming the upper torso of the super robot.
Leozack was summoned by Deathsaurus to bolster his forces in preparation for their campaign against the Earth. Leozack was put in charge of the first plan, which involved the Dinoforce attacking the Autobots' base while Leozack himself intended to confront Star Saber. The Dinoforce went about their task and drew Star Saber out, and both Leozack and Deathsaurus, watching the conflict from afar on the Thunder Arrow, were taken aback to see the Autobot leader piloting the V-Star battlecraft, which they had never seen before. Leozack was about to head out to battle Star Saber, but Deathsaurus suggested he hold back and observe this new turn of events instead. Leozack did so, and rather predictably, the Dinoforce were defeated. Sneak Attack! Dinoking

The Thunder Arrow subsequently set down on Earth, and Leozack vowed to end Star Saber's life as a gift to Deathsaurus. He attacked Star Saber when the Autobot leader was bringing his human son Jean to school, putting the whole campus in danger. Leozack grappled with Star Saber, but with his Lionbreast busy fighting Holi, his torso was left unprotected, leaving him open to a damaging slash from Star Saber's Saber Blade, which forced him to retreat. Attack! Leozack

Leozack was soon joined by his Breastforce teammates Drillhorn, Jarugar and Killbison, and together, they arranged an attack on an energy plant in the desert. The Breastforce hid themselves in the sand and watched as the Dinoforce carried out the attack, but when the Autobot Landcross arrived, they emerged to join the battle. Said battle didn't last long, as Star Saber soon arrived as well, and Leozack fled when confronted by the two giants. Unite!! Multiforce

With his next plan, Leozack began showing his true colors. Recruiting the Dinoforce to help him, Leozack had them attack the Ocean Exhibition amusement park, with the intention of turning it into a personal base for himself. He even revealed his ambition to overthrow Deathsaurus to Gōryū, and while the Dinoforce leader was not particularly impressed, he decided to go along with the stunt anyway. Unsurprisingly, the Autobots soon arrived, and Leozack was defeated by Star Saber, after which he attempted to bluff his way out of trouble by telling Deathsaurus that he had intended to turn the park into a seawater energy conversion plant. {{storylink|Move Out!

After leading an infiltration of the Neo Uranium Mines Infiltration... The Uranium Mine and helping to gather energy in the Amazon, Explosion!! The Energy Base Leozack joined the other Decepticons in stealing energy from an American subway system. The plan was Deathsaurus's own, and Leozack advocated caution, but when Deathsaurus embarrassed him into silence in front of the other Decepticons, he was left in a bad mood for the whole mission. Consequently, Leozack decided to disobey orders and blast the subway tunnels open so they could access the electrical systems more easily. This, of course, attracted the attention of the Autobots, and Leozack wound up battling Blacker in the cramped underground quarters. When Deathsaurus called retreat, Leozack was unwilling to break off the fight, but when all the other Decepticons abandoned him, he had little choice. Big City - Underground Terror
Hoping to redeem himself for past failures, Leozack summoned another of his Breastforce teammates, Hellbat, to Earth to steal information from the New Energy Resource Research and Development Laboratory in Japan. Unfortunately, Hellbat botched the job, leading to another battle with the Autobots. The Decepticons were defeated by a brainwave scrambler invented by Braver, which Leozack was able to steal as he retreated. Alas, the scrambler only worked on Decepticons, and the dressing-down that Leozack received from Deathsaurus only convinced Hellbat that he could do a better job of leading the Breastforce himself. The New Warrior - Hellbat Hellbat proceeded to go over Leozack's head with information he had about an energy shipment being transported in Nevada. Leozack was naturally furious, but Hellbat’s honeyed words convinced Leozack to carry out the attack with him so they could steal the energy for their own personal supply. Of course, the two hapless schemers wound up being once again defeated by Star Saber. Attack the Shuttle Base!! Two subsequent missions led by Leozack to steal oil from tankers likewise met with failure, Tanker Hijack Operation Rescue Jean!! as did the Breastforce's attempt to tap hydroelectric power in Canada. Mach and Tackle
Following a scheme to create an energy alloy, {{storylink|A Fierce Battle!! Following the success of this mission, Rescue! Gaihawk Leozack sought to complete the team by summoning the final member, Deathcobra, to join them. With Deathcobra on the team, Leozack could finally boot out the untrustworthy Hellbat, and the remaining six members could merge into their combined form of Liokaiser. Learning of this, Hellbat tried to stop Deathcobra from meeting with the others and accidentally wound up killing him in the fight that ensued. He preventing Leozack from discovered this by blaming the Autobot Micromaster Holi for the deed, and so secured his place as part of Liokaiser. After defeating Star Saber in their first combined outing, {{storylink|Unite! Leozack and the Breastforce's next plan was one of their best, as they lured their Autobot rivals, the Brainmasters, into an ambush in the desert. With the heavy automotive Autobots unable to manoeuvre in the shifting sands, the Breastforce were able to damage Blacker badly and deal a serious blow to the Autobots. Crisis! Ambush in the Desert With the Autobots weakened by this loss in manpower, Deathsaurus decided it was time to increase the rate of Decepticon attacks…but this was not a good thing for Leozack, since the first thing Deathsaurus did was set his Breast Animals upon the Breastforce leader, pinning him to the floor of the throne room. Placing his sword against Leozack's face, Deathsaurus informed Leozack that he had always been aware of his second-in-command's ambition to lead the Decepticons, and he offered the would-be traitor a choice: Swear absolute loyalty to him or die. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, Leozack chose the former and aided his emperor in luring Star Saber into a subterranean battle. A Deadly Battle This battle left Star Saber badly injured, and the Decepticons kept up the pressure, as Leozack and the Breastforce accompanied Deathsaurus in raiding a solar power station. Ginrai Dies!!

Leozack later led missions to steal energy from America's "Energy Road", and the Mount Asama geothermal power plant, but was stopped on both occasions by Autobot warrior Victory Leo. Fight!! Victory Leo Awaken! Victory Leo Victory Leo wasn't able to interfere with the Decepticons' next energy theft, as the threat of orbital missile bombardment held him at bay, but Leozack disliked the cowardly nature of the scheme. Even though it was Deathsaurus's own miscalculations that caused the failure of the plot, he didn't hesitate to blame Leozack. Jean - Defend the Campus!!

When Star Saber was off-planet attending a Galactic Peace Alliance conference, Leozack exploited his absence by donning a large exo-skeleton that allowed him to pose as the Autobot leader. Entering the Autobots' headquarters with the claim that he had intercepted a Decepticon message reporting that bombs had been planted in the base, he searched for the disk containing the information on Star Saber and Victory Leo's combination process while the other Autobots were hunting for the nonexistent explosives. Leozack made Victory Leo suspicious when he accidentally electrocuted himself while rummaging under a console and had to trick Holi and Jean into showing him where the disk was. Leozack nearly got away with the disk, but at the last moment, the real Star Saber returned to expose the villain's deception and send him packing. A Mystery?! The Deception of the Base Bombs

Leozack's next scheme saw him unleash the metal-eating Dorya insects upon the Autobots, but the plan went down the tubes when the heroes discovered that intense cold defeated the bugs. The Death-Bringing Space Insects!! This resulted in yet another chewing-out from Deathsaurus, who refused to hear any more of Leozack's plans and simply beat him to a pulp. Hellbat chose that moment to pop up and deliver a secret message to Deathsaurus, which pushed Leozack to the end of his patience with his sneaky subordinate and led him to deliver a beating of his own. Once again, Hellbat sweet-talked Leozack into going along with his plan: the theft of energy from the ancient continent of Atlantis. The Terror of the Giant Tidal Waves The plan succeeded, and the Breastforce and Deathsaurus headed into space aboard the Thunder Arrow in order to recharge Deathsaurus's Planet-Destroying Fortress with the stolen energy. The Autobots pursued the villains, but were unable to stop them from bringing the fortress back online. The Wrath of the Resurrected Giant Fortress! To keep the Autobots busy while the fortress's main cannon charged, Deathsaurus dispatched the Breastforce—combined as Liokaiser—to battle them. In the course of the clash, Victory Leo was able to blast Liokaiser into the fortress's cannon barrel, which drained his energy dry. With his consciousness fading and his body unable to move, Liokaiser could only utter a fading scream for help as he drifted off into the depths of space. {{storylink|Showdown! Leozack introduced himself to the Autobots when he embarked on a solo mission to Earth, believing that he could conquer the planet himself. His attack on a city did not go unnoticed by the Autobots, and when Star Saber arrived to stop him, Leozack was able to knock the Supreme Commander out of the air with his nunchaku. Unfortunately for Leozack, Star Saber's son Jean happened to be watching the battle, and noticed that Leozack was missing his breastplate—the Decepticon had accidentally forgotten to bring it with him! Star Saber immediately targeted his opponent's exposed torso with his Saber Blade and sent Leozack fleeing. Leozack Rumbles Violently!

Later, Leozack and the other Breastforcers combined into Liokaiser to battle Star Saber on Energy Planet X. When the combiner warrior managed to seize Star Saber, his individual components began arguing over who would get the right to destroy the Autobot leader; Leozack believed he should get to do it because he was the leader. Star Saber exploited the opening to turn the battle around, and Liokaiser was defeated and escaped. The Star of Friendship, Jean and Star Saber! In their next battle with Star Saber, the Breastforce almost had him defeated thanks to the aid of Deathsaurus and Dinoking, but the tables were turned when Star Saber merged with new arrival Victory Leo to form Victory Saber. The Strongest Partners, the Combination of Victory!

In their next battle, Liokaiser and Deathsaurus were defeated by the Autobots' "Five Stars of Victory" attack technique, and Liokaiser split back into Leozack and the rest of the Breastforce to flee back to Deathsaurus's "Space Stronghold". Shine! The Five Stars of Victory From the stronghold, the Decepticons began a final attack on Earth, bombarding the planet with meteors, but Deathsaurus made the mistake of leaving Leozack in charge of the fortress while he battled Star Saber in space. Leozack turned the fortress's main cannon upon Deathsaurus and Star Saber, but before he could finish them off, Deathsaurus blasted the fortress with his Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon. Star Saber smashed his way into the fortress control room and slashed Leozack with his "Planetary Impulse Sword", but even as the treacherous Decepticon collapsed, he begged the Autobots not to destroy the fortress. Deathsaurus revealed that the fortress was home to the Decepticons' families, and as Leozack was cradled by his sister Lyzack, he explained that they had been fighting to keep them safe. Struck by this revelation, Star Saber decided that it was time for the Autobots and Decepticons to lay down their arms and live in peace—the truest victory of all! {{storylink|Heroic! Leozack was one of the first to volunteer for Skyquake's experimental Skyraider body refitting program. His new body was teeming with so many weapons, he lacked the hardware to implement them automatically; instead, he was forced to use verbal commands to use them individually.
Under Banzai-Tron's command, Leozack and his fellow Skyraider warriors Skyquake, Hooligan, Hellbat, and Gaihawk, followed the Autobot ship Eight Track to the planet Beta-Nine, where they hoped to beat them to a mysterious cargo that had crashed there aboard the Van De Graaff. Leozack, Skyquake, and Hooligan attacked the Autobots, separating the crew's youngest member from them. The Autobots' commander, Thunderclash, drove Leozack and the others away with a barrage of firepower, allowing his crew to escape into the trees where the Decepticons would have to fight them on the ground.

Skyquake departed after Thunder Clash and ordered Leozack and Hooligan to kill the remaining two Autobots, Landshark and Flak. Flak leapt out at them, demanding a fight, and Leozack was happy to oblige him. Unfortunately, this was a diversion, and once Flak had occupied their attention, Landshark surprised Leozack with a massive punch.

Leozack and the others were defeated and brought back to Cybertron as prisoners. The battle on Beta-Nine began the Autobot/Decepticon civil war. Wings of Honor
Notes
*According to the 2009 fanclub fiction panel, the gist of Leozack's characterization in Wings of Honor came from the authors' desire to portray him as a stereotypical anime character; at one point, Rik Alvarez even wanted him to speak entirely in Japanese (!). Though nixed for logistical reasons, the basic idea survived in the form of Leozack's dialogue being rendered in a stylized Asiatic typeface.
