Dirt Boss
:Dirt Boss is a Constructicon from the Animated continuity family.

Created accidentally by the fusion of a forklift, a Headmaster unit and an AllSpark fragment, Dirt Boss is a little bot with big, big plans. Sick of having been bossed around back when he was nothing more than a simple machine, he's decided that he's going to be giving the orders from now on!

His nasty attitude might be enough to accomplish this on its own, but he's capable of getting muscle for his jobs very quickly. He can fire a small remote control device from his forehead, tipped with a drill that allows it to bore its way into other machines—Transformers included—giving Dirt Boss direct control of their motor functions. And if he really has to get his servos dirty, his stumpy little legs are actually quite capable of delivering a brutal roundhouse. Now he's taken command of the other Constructicons and is going to make sure Detroit knows who's boss!

:Voice actor: John Mariano (English), Tetsuo Gotō (Japanese)
Isaac Sumdac and Bulkhead were using the forklift that would become Dirt Boss in their space bridge recreation project at Sumdac Tower, but Bulkhead's natural clumsiness sent the forklift, the recently recaptured Headmaster unit, and three Allspark fragments plummeting several floors. While Isaac went to sleep off his scare and Bulkhead went to get help with reinforcing the tower's structural support for the new space bridge, the fallen objects fused together.

By the time Bulkhead returned with Mixmaster and Scrapper, who were beginning to come around to the idea of becoming Autobots, Dirt Boss had come to life. Pulled up by Scrapper, the tiny terror immediately used his motor-control power on Scrapper to make him hit himself repeatedly. The three far larger robots were quickly cowed into submission, and Dirt Boss revealed his plan to hijack oil shipments to increase his power base in the city...a plan with which the two Constructicons quickly got on board.

Leading the two on an overnight crime spree (and occasionally beating the Constructicons for drinking the profits), he revealed his plan to torch the Fossil Fuel plant, forcing the city to come to him for oil. Bulkhead attempted to stop them before they left, but that didn't go too well. Bulkhead was dragged to the fuel plant, and eventually Dirt Boss used his motor-control on him, intending him to start a fire that would destroy the plant (sacrificing the bound Mixmaster in the process). The rest of the Autobots arrived, but a stray spark set the spilled oil ablaze anyway. Dirt Boss took control of Mixmaster and Scrapper, who had become stuck together in the fight, and rode them to the top of the oil tower. Fortunately, Sumdac had followed them, carrying the plasmadynamic thruster from their space bridge. Bulkhead reprogrammed the device and transported the oil tanker—and the three Constructicons—to just offshore of Dinobot Island just before it exploded. Three's a Crowd

After the blast, Scrapper made it to Dinobot Island and lived there for a few weeks, unsure of what fate had befallen Dirt Boss and Mixmaster. Human Error, Part II After the Autobots captured the Decepticons and returned to Cybertron, however, it was revealed that the other two Constructicons had also survived, though where they had been wasn't explained. Hooking back up with Scrapper, Dirt Boss put his two subordinates to work on his newest construction project: building something called "Devastator"... Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II

Notes
* Well, it took a while, but anime fans can at last point to an honest-to-gosh reference to the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in Animated: As confirmed by Derrick J. Wyatt over his Twitter feed, Dirt Boss is designed in homage to the small Lagann mecha from the show.
* Despite having just been created, Dirt Boss manages to have a Decepticon insignia without Megatron's influence.
* Dirt Boss can fire shells from his forehead to control other robots? Sounds familiar...
* Dirt Boss has a bit of a resemblance to Wario
The Punch of Kill Everything, or The POKE, is Lugnut's trump card. By retracting his "hand" and replacing it with a pressure-sensitive pad, Lugnut can devastate any opponent near him by slamming it into the ground. As long as the move is completed, the shock wave doesn't affect Lugnut or those near him, although it can rattle their circuits a bit. Unfortunately, if the trigger is activated prematurely, the move has a tendency to backfire, the force hitting Lugnut instead. Ouch.

Blitzwing asked the upgrade-collecting bounty hunter Lockdown to hunt down the Transformer that destroyed Megatron. Lockdown's price for the job was Lugnut's Punch of Kill Everything. Blitzwing was outraged, insulted, scandalized that Lockdown would even imply he could betray his fellow Decepticon (steal from him) like that! He then agreed to the price, provided that the job was successful. The Arrival issue 4#A Few Loose Strands

During his first encounter with the Autobots, the suggestion that Megatron had been killed infuriated Lugnut, and he used the Punch of Kill Everything to level the Autobots, shaking Blitzwing up in the process. Lost and Found (episode).

The Punch of Kill Everything was again seen during a brief battle with Ratchet, in which it was used to knock Ratchet through a wall after he refused to hand over Sari's Key. Megatron Rising - Part 1. Later, during an open assault on the Autobots' ship, Lugnut engaged in one-on-one combat with Bulkhead. He prepared to use his Punch to finish off the weaker Autobot, but he was so busy talking, Bulkhead triggered it early, and the force of it sent Lugnut flying. Megatron Rising - Part 2

While attempting to recover a fragment of the AllSpark, Lugnut ended up "converting" Wreck-Gar to the Decepticons. When Ratchet and Bumblebee tracked Wreck-Gar down, Lugnut prepared to use the Punch...which Wreck-Gar took to be a high-five, so he set the Punch off. Lugnut actually came out of this one without being blown away. Garbage In, Garbage Out

After duping a couple of eager and rather dense bots into doing some heavy lifting for him and Blitzwing, Lugnut attempted to take out the poor saps with his mighty Punch. Unfortunately, Megatron interrupted it, surprising Lugnut and causing him to stumble into a mine shaft, where his punch backfired upon him. Again. Ever the trooper, he made sure everyone knew he was OK. Rise of the Constructicons

Lugnut later showcased the ability to fire his fists in a manner akin to missiles, using the Punch from long range. It didn't do him much good, as Omega Supreme demolished him with ease. Along with the rest of the Decepticons. A Bridge Too Close, Part II

Although the Autobots removed the Punch of Kill Everything when Lugnut was captured, Swindle was happy to supply a replacement—which Lugnut used to blow a hole in the side of the Elite Guard's ship. Five Servos of Doom Decepticon Air

Notes
*In his Cybertronian body, Lugnut's elbow transformed, revealing a rocket nozzle to slam the arm into the ground. This hasn't been seen since he took his Earth body, although since then, he's rarely succeeded in using the thing at all.

*At Botcon 2008, Marty Isenberg took a liking to the term Punch of Kill Everything used in the fandom to refer to Lugnut's attack, and said he would find a way to work it in. Sure enough, in the comic The Arrival #4 penned by Isenberg, Lugnut's attack was canonized and named as such.

* The model sheet name for The Punch is "Explosive Punch".

* In spite of its evocative name, we have not yet in fact witnessed the "Punch of Kill Everything" actually kill anything.

* The Punch of Kill Everything is useful for making a swimming pool.

* In Transformers: War for Cybertron, one of the Leader class's Killstreaks is the P.O.K.E. ** The Soldier class has an abillity called P.O.K.E. Alpha, and it increases the damage of their Whirlwind special attack.
