Long Haul wishes he could spend more time in battle, destroying his enemies with projectile weaponry. Instead, he often finds himself stuck in the role of pack mule, lugging around the other Decepticons gear. He finds this a highly loathsome task. So it's not surprising that stuff left in his truck bed has a tendency to get lost in transit.

Long Haul served as the Decepticons' ground-based heavy-hitter, with his long-range charged grenades and flamethrower. He could also initiate a combat repair sequence that would rapidly regenerate his health, much like the Autobot Ratchet's repair ability.

After Sideways cleared out most of the Protectobots from Shanghai construction area, Long Haul was deployed to upload a virus into all of the NEST communications arrays in the area. Soon after, Long Haul was sent to the Shanghai spiral highway to destroy two NEST field headquarters and their defenders, drawing the Autobot Ironhide out into the open. Both combatants were roughly evenly matched, but Long Haul's long-range charged grenades and his combat repair sequence gave him the edge to defeat Ironhide this time. Long Haul was soon sent back to the spiral highway to follow in the wake of a cloaked Autobot probe, which was, to add insult to injury, created by salvaging Decepticon technology. The Decepticon shrugged off attacks by the Autobot defenders, chased after the probe and destroyed it when it revealed itself.

Later, Long Haul was sent to the United States West Coast oil refinery to capture the human female known as Mikaela Banes, who might know the location of an All Spark fragment. He destroyed numerous buildings to force the engineers to evacuate, then brought them to an interrogator probe that plumbed the minds of these primitive organic beings. Though none of the subjects survived the torture, one did provide the location of the human female before he expired, and Long Haul was able to capture her. Unfortunately, she was rescued by the Autobots soon after Long Haul left the area.

After Megatron's glorious resurrection, Long Haul was deployed to the East Coast industrial area to chase after and destroy yet another cloaked Autobot probe. Soon after, he was sent to the East Coast city with the L-train to send a message to the pathetic humans that their NEST and the Autobots could not protect them. Despite overwhelming odds, Long Haul attacked and destroyed the primitive power plant and the crude televisual broadcasting station.

Following their journey to Egypt, the Decepticons discovered that the Autobot collaborators had given the human insects the Axiom Gun, which was being used in Cairo to attack the Decepticons. Furious, Megatron ordered Long Haul to destroy the weapon. Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)

Autobot campaign
At the Shanghai spiral highway, Ironhide was eager for payback for his earlier defeat at the hands of Long Haul. He destroyed the Combaticon units assigned to the area to draw Long Haul out, then the two titans went to town on each other. Once again, both were roughly evenly matched in terms of physical strength and firepower, but in the end, Ironhide's experience and cunning prevailed.

As well as the "main" green Long Haul, there were also several yellow Long Haul units that were a constant pain for the Autobot forces. These units were equipped with an Energon Wave Cannon similar to Grindor's. Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)
Nizzi's work impressed Hasbro and the director enough for him to be hired as a concept artist and for his Long Haul design to actually be used for the character in the movie, associated media and merchandise. It was the very first design approved for Revenge of the Fallen.
However, the vehicle which becomes the left leg of Devastator is a smaller CAT 773B with an overall length of 10.3m / 33.5ft. Either this was a change made during the adaptation from art to CGI, or the two Long Hauls are in fact different vehicles.
In the distant past, the All Spark Cube created a race of powerful, trans-dimensional beings as the first inhabitants of Cybertron. The Cube gave these beings mighty powers, as well as terraforming their world, but it was not limitless, and gradually became depleted. The first beings learned that the All Spark's power could be replenished by harvesting the energy of stars, but they were unable to locate new stars to suit their purposes, despite their amazing ability to travel between dimensions. Once again, the Cube came to the rescue, creating a race of workers, who had the ability to change their shape.

Mixmaster was among the very first of these new beings, one of several "builders" who would construct a harvester when a suitable sun had been found. Once built, the device would drain the energy of these stars, thus replenishing the All Spark. Defiance issue 4 It is presumed that at some point during the civil war on Cybertron, he sided with Megatron, the new protege of Mixmaster's only surviving ancient master, The Fallen.
:Mixmaster and the six other Legends class Constructicons combine to form Devastator. In Japan, the Legends class Constructicons are sold individually. Mixmaster has the dubious honor of pulling Devastator's face around like a rectal growth in robot mode. He forms (you guessed it) the head of Devastator.

*Mixmaster (Voyager, 2009)
**Japanese ID number: RD-12
**Accessories: Missile

:Voyager Class Revenge of the Fallen Mixmaster transforms into a gray and silver cement mixer with purple windows and headlights, based loosely on the Mack truck seen in the film. The vehicle mode's mixing drum is incapable of rotating due to the transformation, but does boast a pair of gigantic Decepticon logos on either side. The cement chute at the rear of the vehicle mode can accurately raise and lower on a hinge.

: His robot mode is designed to be squat with very long arms, but in order to be fully functional, his legs must be mistransformed from what is depicted in his instructions. This results in a robot mode that is very thin and lanky, with numerous joints on the extremely long arms alone. The packaging calls out Mech Alive gimmickry in the form of "spinning gears" on his chest, but the feature is only present at the thighs and forearms, which reveal shifting internal bits when the joints are rotated. The robot mode's missile-firing cannon is locked in place on its back pointing straight upward; in order to aim it the toy must be transformed to its artillery cannon-like Battle Mode that has him essentially performing a belly flop, letting the launcher fire forward. At least, according to the Battle Mode's official depiction on the instructions.

: The image of the cement mixer mode on the packaging has been flipped horizontally, leaving the location of the ladder switched. Additionally, the robot mode image on the packaging has a different mold for the mixing drum shells, with rectangular-shaped pegs rather than circular.

:Available only in the Toys"R"Us-exclusive "Back Road Brawl" figure pack with Hoist, this release of Mixmaster features a new head that was gang-molded to Mixmaster, but until now went unused. His colour scheme has been extensively redecoed in a layout resembling the Generation 1 Constructicons. He is decorated with a small tampograph reading "Ol' Lefty", a reference to how Generation 1 Mixmaster formed Devastator's left leg.
*Constructicon Devastator (2009)

:The Mixmaster component of the Devastator set becomes Devastator's head. He contains the lights and sounds for Devastator, as well as individual sounds for his vehicle mode. They are motion activated, which means he never, ever shuts up. As with the other Constructicon members in this set, Mixmaster does not have his own robot mode. To activate sounds (if you're willing to do so, that is), press down on a lever on Devastator's chest. Doing so will raise Devastator's mighty head and open his mouth, and cause one of a myriad of sounds to play, including: "I am.... DEVASTATOR!" "Devastator SMASH AUTOBOTS!" "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Trivia
*According to Ben Procter's concept art, Mixmaster originally had a friendly face based on that of actor Brendan Gleeson... and was apparently going to be an Autobot. The early head design was actually put to use in the Generation 1 Mixmaster-themed redeco store exclusive.

*Apparently, a definitive and solid configuration for the Voyager Mixmaster toy's Battle Mode IS possible, for if one were to look carefully, one can see several design elements present in the toy that are indicative of a (most likely) thoroughly planned out transformation for the third mode. Unfortunately, none of these design elements are alluded to at all in the instructions, leaving many with nothing but guesses as of how it all fits together. Or in most cases, complete disregard for this mode altogether. But this does open the door for a lot of fanmode interpretations of this mode, however, which is always good.
Swerve is a metallurgist and fabricator who goes swerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve! But to his defense, he's actually remarkably intelligent. And when you've handled as many toxic chemicals as he has over the years, your circuits would be pretty frazzled too. Even though he's apparently not a good shot, he can still deliver a good, old-fashion haymaker.

He may or may not have a rocket launcher.
: Swerve is a red redeco of Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe-class Sideswipe, retooled with a new head. Swerve transforms into a Corvette Stingray concept car, though in this mode, he sits so low that it's difficult to roll him without scraping his undercarriage, unless you perform some careful shaping after transforming him (a trait shared by some other live-action movie Deluxe cars, such as Bumblebee and Sideways). His Mech Alive gimmick is in his knees—bending his legs causes the armor plates on his knees to extend.
3D Battle Card Game
*Swerve (2007)
**Card number: 13

: Swerve is a 23-point "Common" piece in the 3D Battle-Card Game. Constructed of punch-out pieces from randomly-packed plastic cards (two full robots per pack), he can be assembled into his car mode (model undetermined), or into a rather stumpy robot mode. His twin blaster-weapons can be mounted on his arms (their nominal placement) or on his shoulders.

: He uses the same construction as the Barricade, Earth-mode Bumblebee, and Mirage cards. This style is similar to the one used by Cliffjumper, Jazz and Smokescreen.

Trivia
* Amusingly enough, the Battle-Card dubbed "Cliffjumper" is designed after Alternators Swerve. It's exceedingly likely the names for the Swerve and Cliffjumper cards got mixed up, as this Swerve bears more than a passing resemblance to Bumblebee, and every other iteration of movieverse Cliffjumper is a red Bumblebee.

* Swerve's role as a metallurgist and his spotty driving are an homage to Generation 1 Swerve. However, whereas Generation 1 Swerve is a lousy driver simply because he doesn't pay attention where he's going, movie Swerve is a lousy driver because he had to huff paint fumes one too many times.
