'''Rampage''' is a pretty violent guy. A member of the [[Constructicon (ROTF)|Constructicons]], he can be followed by the trail of destruction as he wrecks his way through the battlefield, leaving the smell of diesel fumes and hot tar in his wake. His chassis is covered with scratches, dings and dents as a testament to his intense love of battle. Thoroughly whacked in the cranial unit, his idea of beauty is a pile of [[Autobot]] wreckage.

There are two of him,the yellow one which forms [[Devastator (ROTF)|Devastator]]'s left leg, and a prety red one that dies at the hands of, well, Bumblebee.

Two years after the events in [[Mission City]], Decepticons were once again active on [[Earth]]. When [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]] intercepted the location of the [[All Spark (Movie)|All Spark shard]] and the final resting place of [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]], teams were dispatched to bring about their commander's resurrection. After [[Ravage (ROTF)|Ravage]] retrieved the shard from [[Diego Garcia]], he led Rampage, [[Long Haul (ROTF)|Long Haul]], [[Mixmaster (ROTF)|Mixmaster]], [[Scalpel]] and a [[Ze little one|smaller Constructicon]] to the depths of the [[Laurentian Abyss]]. When Scalpel examined Megatron's corpse, he ordered the larger Constructicons to kill the smallest one in their group for donor parts, which they obliged.

During the climactic battle in [[Egypt]] between the Autobot [[NEST]] forces and [[The Fallen]]'s Decepticons, Rampage's combiner limb counterpart became part of [[Devastator (ROTF)|Devastator]], attack former [[Sector Seven]] agent [[Seymour Simmons]], [[Leo Spitz]], [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]]. Meanwhile, Rampage himself appeared during the battle in the Egyptian town to lure [[Sam Witwicky]] into a trap by releasing his captive parents, [[Ron Witwicky|Ron]] and [[Judy Witwicky|Judy]]. Sam was willing to trade the remains of the [[Matrix of Leadership|Matrix]] for his parents, but when he realised Bumblebee had arrived, managed to position Rampage for an attack. After a long battle (which also resulted in the death of Ravage), Bumblebee killed Rampage.

Elsewhere, as Devastator smashed away at the [[Great Pyramid of Giza]] after shrugging off Skids and Mudflap, Simmons called upon the [[United States Navy]] to fire upon the giant Decepticon. :Rampage transforms from a yellow [[Wikipedia:Caterpillar D11|Caterpillar D11]] bulldozer into one of two robot mode configurations, the first of which (his actual in-fiction robot form) is distinctly [[Vehicon (BM)|Vehicon]]-esque. It lacks any functional legs, instead featuring a spring-loaded "jackhammer" assembly. When the figure is bounced along the ground in this mode, his [[Mech Alive]] feature is activated, and a pair of pistons that frame his head pump back and forth. The shovel can be removed in this mode and used as a stand. If legs are preferred, his jackhammer splits and his elaborate [[kibble]] backpack unfolds, together forming four leg-struts to create a free-standing robot form that is rather centaurian in design. He features real rubber treads which become arm-mounted whip weapons in robot mode. Unfortunately, due to this design, the treads themselves do not function in vehicle mode.

:Like several toys in the ''[[Revenge of the Fallen (toyline)|Revenge of the Fallen]]'' toyline, Rampage has had a mold change done somewhere between his instructions being drawn up and the final version of the toy. On the final toy, the rear flap behind the cabin of the bulldozer runs into a screw section used to hold the robot pelvis together. This change also affects where the rear flap and the bulldozer shovel connect in robot mode. On the instructions, this flap is shown as folding flat against the back of the vehicle and said flap is also folded down much farther in robot mode to connect to the shovel. Strangely, the shovel connection change seems to have been accounted for in the mold change, but not weird conflict in vehicle mode. Unlike some others, this change does not directly affect any of the toy's action features or articulation.

One version of Rampage (yellow) combines with the Constructicons in a quarry to form Devastator, while another one (red) fights Bumblebee. It is speculated that Rampage is red in this scene to distinguish him from the yellow Bumblebee.
*Starscream calls the red Rampage by name in the film. He has spent his entire lifespan mastering the intricacies of chemical reactions, becoming an expert in poisons, corrosive substances, and most especially explosives. He has a knack for improvisation, being able to make deadly concoctions from just the native materials a world has to offer. A member of the [[Constructicon (ROTF)|Constructicons]], when [[Devastator (ROTF)|Devastator]] is formed he constitutes the lumbering beast's head.

In the distant past, the [[All Spark (Movie)|All Spark]] Cube created [[Thirteen original Transformers|a race]] of powerful, trans-dimensional beings as the first inhabitants of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. The Cube gave these beings mighty powers, as well as terraforming their world, but it was not limitless, and gradually became depleted. The first beings learned that the All Spark's power could be replenished by harvesting the energy of stars, but they were unable to locate new stars to suit their purposes, despite their amazing ability to travel between dimensions. Once again, the Cube came to the rescue, creating a race of workers, who had the ability to change their shape.

Mixmaster was among the very first of these new beings, one of several "builders" who would construct a [[Solar harvester|harvester]] when a suitable sun had been found.
