Formerly a soldier in the British Special Forces, Thomas settled in Hong Kong following a tour in Vietnam and founded the studio that would become famous among Transfomers fans for its hilariously off-kilter dubs of ''[[Transformers: The Headmasters (cartoon)|The Headmasters]]'', ''[[Transformers: Super-God Masterforce (cartoon)|Super-God Masterforce]]'' and ''[[Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Victory (cartoon)|Victory]]'', in which Thomas himself would play numerous roles.
