So, do we call the clone a seperate character? But for Rampage's death, he would have... remaiend so, but it becoems complicated with DB posessing his own clone, and the two never really... existed side-by-side enough to require seperate pages... And yet- by Wiki standards we seem to consider clones seperate dudes. -[[User:Derik|Derik]] 08:01, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

TM2 Dinobot ''is'' a separate character. I don't think it's complicated at all, regardless of his totally unexplained personality change in the finale. --[[User:KilMichaelMcC|KilMichaelMcC]] 08:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

For Dinobot's TM2 entry, notarize that it's a Predacon clone created by Megatron, and decidedly not the original. In it's story background, simply say that 'Originally, an episode was planned which showed Rattrap uploading the original Dinobot's memories into the clone. This episode was not made, however, leaving a serious plot hole for the final season of Beast Wars, and the handling of the Dinobot TM2 character.' --[[User:Vanguard|Vanguard]]
:<nowiki>*scratches head*</nowiki> Soo... if you make a new body for Dinobot and load his memories into it off a data backup, it's a new character.
:: Point being is that we never actually SEE Dinobot II's memory implant (aside from a very well done fan-comic), so he's still a completely seperate being (a literal twin brother), as far as the cartoon's involved. --[[User:Vanguard|Vanguard]]

:: No one ever "made a new body ''for'' Dinobot," Megatron created a clone of the original that would be loyal to him, and gave it life with half of someone else's spark. --[[User:KilMichaelMcC|KilMichaelMcC]] 19:08, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

==Summary==
Vastly outnumbered, [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]], [[Rattrap]], and [[Cheetor]] attempt to hold off the Predacons some distance form their base, to allow Rhinox to complete his mission to travel through the [[Allspark]]. When [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] orders them to take no survivors, [[Silverbolt (Fuzor)|Silverbolt]] protests, saying they should let the Maximals surrender, only to be struck by the irate Predacon commander. When Silverbolt is preplexed by their resistance, Megatron realizes that they are keeping them from their base. He orders [[Waspinator]] and Silverbolt to head to the ''[[Axalon]]''. Cheetor takes to the air, and Rattrap converts to vehicle mode, ordering Dinobot to hop on and provide cover fire (disgusting the former Predacon).

[[Tarantulas]], however, is using the psychic link to force [[Blackarachnia]] to search for information on the [[Golden Disk]]s. While she searches through the files, she discovers something of importance, but refuses to show Tarantulas. When Tarantulas is rendered unconciouss by a boulder, Blackarachnia downloads the information, then destroys the computer, claiming that it was bobytrapped.

Reaching the ''Axalon'', Silverbolt is shot down by the autoguns, and captured by the Maximals. Dinobot prepares to destroy him, but Rattrap and Cheetor prevent him, instead taking him in to repair him. Rhinox, who has finished, tells the Maximals to they must hold the Predacons off for a little while longer. Inside the Axalon, a charge hits the device Rhinox was connected to, travelling to a [[stasis pod]] with a blank [[protoform]]. Outside, the shields fail under the fire, and the Maximals engage&mdash;to discover that they are out of ammo. The Predacons seriously injure the Maximals.

Having waited a long time for their victory, the Predacons approach, prepared to dilver the killing blow. Before they can finish the Maximals off, there is an exlposion in the hull of the ''Axalon''. When the smoke clears, the Maximals and Predacons alike are shocked to see a new participant&mdash;[[Optimus Primal]]. The Predacons attempt to destroy him, but Primal, now with his own [[Transmetal]] body, causes the Predacons to scatter. Primal takes to the air, dispatching the rest of the Predacons. Megatron attempts to kill Primal, but Silverbolt knocks Megatron off a cliff, defecting to the Maximals.

At the ''[[Darksyde]]'', Blackarachnia tells Megatron that Dinobot stole the Disks and destroyed the computers. Megatron then declares that the Beast Wars has entered a new phase, while, unseen, binary code flashes across Blackarachnia's eyes.

==Notes==
===Trivia===
*After Rattrap throws a rock in the air as an example of what would happen if they moved away from the cover of the boulder, it's blasted into a tiny pebble and hits the ground. All 3 Maximals "eyes" then pop out of their heads towards the rock in the fashion of the eyeball gag in classic Tex Avery cartoons.
'''Mach Kick''' is the former sub-commander of the [[Thoroughbred Corps]]. After their destruction at the hands of the [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]], he was left the only survivor. Once he recovered, he was sent to aid [[Big Convoy]] in his quest to obtain the [[Angolmois]] capsules.

Mach Kick has a very free spirit and a rowdy attitude. He enjoys cavorting about and partying like he was in a college fraternity. [[Longrack (BWN)|Longrack]] can’t stand him one bit and the two of them get into arguments on a near daily basis. :''Tigatron is a [[Maximal]] from the [[Beast Wars]] portion of the [[Generation 1]] [[continuity family]]. He was previously designated '''Unit 2'''.''

[[Image:Tigatron1.jpg|right|250px|thumb|I must kill you... because [[Primus|God]] told me to!]]

Damage to his stasis pod upon crashing to [[Earth]] caused [[Tigatron]] to emerge far more tiger than robot. A loner who is more connected to the Earth than any other [[Beast Wars|Beast Warrior]], he enjoys the planet's natural beauty and is often concerned about the damage that the Transformers' battle is doing to it. Scout, infiltrator, and sometimes programming guru, Tigatron has filled a variety of roles for the Maximals.
====''Timelines: Dawn of Future's Past''====
[[Image:Tigatrondawn.jpg|left|thumb|250px|He wasn't even supposed to be here today!]]

Tigatron was once known as Unit 2, part of the [[Maximal Command Security Force]] which protected the fragile peace that existed on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] in the centuries following the [[Pax Cybertronia]]. One of the Security Force's elite troops, Unit 2 was often put in charge of guarding important Maximal artifacts, a job that often required his amazing prowess at tracking. Despite his strong command of this environment, Unit 2 wondered if his destiny and place was elsewhere.

When the [[Golden Disk]] was stolen by a band of rogue [[Predacon (BW)|Predacons]], Unit 2 responded along with Unit 1, [[Nitrostreak]]. After Nitrostreak was incapacitated, Unit 2 attempted to follow the [[Darksyde]] by commandeering the ''[[Chromia 10]]'', pursuing, along with [[Airazor (BW)|its pilot]]. During the ensuing firefight, their ship was badly damaged. [[Optimus Primal]] had their [[Spark]]s remotely uploaded to blank protoforms in the [[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'s cargohold, which saved their lives, but severely damaged their core mainframes. {{storylink|Dawn of Future's Past}}

''(This story is a [[retcon]], as Tigatron was originally treated as a newborn protoform in the ''Beast Wars'' animated series. Instead, here he is revealed to have been a Maximal who existed previously on Cybertron but ended up on the ''Axalon'' in a stasis pod, damaged to the point of not remembering any of his past.)''
:''Voice Actor:'' [[Blu Mankuma]] (US), [[Kōichi Tōchika]] (Japan)

Tigatron was born in the far frozen north, at first heavily damaged in his memory circuts and unable to remember friend from foe. In his beast mode, he patiently watched the Predacon and Maximal forces duke it out. When Megatron threatened the white tigers, and the Maximals conceded the fight, Tigatron knew his alliance.

His alliance established ,Tigatron became a background player, sending updates to the [[Axalon]] through communication towers and lending assistance to the Maximals when called upon. He was rarely seen inside the Maximal base, regarding artificial environments as "strange".

He and [[Cheetor]] held a strong sibling friendship. While Cheetor was youthful and eager, Tigatron was confident and wise. Cheetor called him "Big Cat" frequently.

[[Image:Airazortigatrontrigger.jpg|right|thumb|A cat and bird fall for each other. Love is truly blind.]]
Tigatron had an organic tiger friend named [[Snowstalker]], who may or may not have been the basis for his altmode. Some fans have speculated that the pair were [[Robot-fleshling romance|more than friends]], as the [[human|dumb stubbies]] say. Sadly, Snowstalker became one of the war's casualties, putting Tigatron in a funk for a short while, until he realized that doing nothing only meant more innocents would die.

Not much later, Tigatron was the first to detect a pulsing alien energy source. When [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] initiated a somewhat suspicious truce shortly afterwards, [[Optimus Primal]] ordered a covert infiltration of the Predacon base. [[Rattrap]] and [[Airazor]] made enough of a distraction to allow Tigatron inside the [[Darksyde]].

Inside, he hacked his way into the ship's computer systems and found out what got Megatron so worried - The [[Vok]] were coming back, and they weren't happy. Tigatron and the rest of the Maximals barely survived the subsequent attack of the alien [[Planet Buster]].

Tigatron and Airazor formed a very powerful relationship during this time. They both felt a strong connection to the prehistoric [[Earth]], and they frequently spent their time outside of the Maximal base in their beast forms instead. After the destruction of the Planet Buster sent dozens of stasis pods crashing to Earth, the pair set off on a voyage to find what had become of their Maximal comrades within the pods. Unfortunately, before they could discover any still-functional pods, they were abducted by a [[Metal Hunter|bizarre alien plant]].

The two were not seen again until much later, when their inert bodies were revealed to be the captives of the Vok, floating somewhere in a deep space nebula. The Vok removed their Sparks from their bodies, which were then fused into the awesomely powerful [[Vok]] emissary [[Tigerhawk]]. When the Vok influence was removed from Tigerhawk, the Sparks of Tigatron and Airazor likewise fused and entered the empty shell.
=====''Primeval Dawn=====
[[Image:Primeval Tigatron.jpg|thumb|left|Hello, kitty!]]

Tigatron and Airazor's sparks were sent back to Earth by the [[Vok]] sometime after [[Tigerhawk]]'s destruction. Tigatron's spark took possesion of [[Ravage]]'s former body at the bottom of a lake. Joining Transmetal Airazor and a newly-created [[Primal Prime]], Tigatron battled [[Tarantulas]] and Ravage, who had also managed to escape death.

''('''Note''': The ''Primeval Dawn'' story was never finished, so how Tigatron came to join the [[Wreckers]] (see below) is unknown.)''

=====''The Wreckers''=====
Tigatron, Primal Prime, and others arrived on Cybertron during Megatron's anti-biological reign. Various teams met with the [[Oracle]], which assigned them various tasks. When Optimus Primal objected, saying that with all these soldiers, Megatron could be defeated easily, the Oracle swept him away and cleansed his memory of the recent events. Tigatron vehemently objected to this treatment of his former commander. A set of coordinates was infused into Primal Prime's head by the Oracle. When arriving at an Autobot shuttle, which was to ferry the Wreckers to those coordinates, Tigatron felt that something was amiss. It was then that the Vehicon generals [[Spy Streak]], [[Scavenger_(BM)|Scavenger]], [[Quake]] and [[Blastcharge (BM)|Blastcharge]] attacked. Tigatron used his Nature's Fury attack, utterly destroying Quake. During the ride in the Autobot shuttle, Tigatron meditated, recovering from the battle. Upon arrived at their destination, he once again sensed that danger awaited the Wreckers...

''(Note: although it picks up after the first season, the Beast Wars Metals manga is not in-continuity with the television series.)''
Tigatron acted as a samurai warrior and his body reflected that. At one point, he is forced to do battle with the [[spark|spark]]-less body of his beloved [[Airazor (BW)|Airazor]]. Not wishing to harm her, he willingly let the evil Airazor take the opportunity to decapitate him.

Just as evil Airazor began to strike, the spark of the real Airazor entered his body. In cyberspace, the two embrace each other and vow never to be apart again. Their sparks then merge, resulting in the all-powerful [[Tigerhawk]].
* An unproduced version of Tigatron shown at Toy Fair in 1996 was cast in orange plastic instead of cream-colored.

*Tigatron's beast mode may well have been female. His template animal was female, and while wild felines have size differences between males and females Tigatron and Snowstalker were shown as being the same size; indeed, they were for all intents and purposes identical, such that [[Waspinator]] thought Snowstalker ''was'' Tigatron.
*In the Japanese dub of Beast Wars, for the sake of humor, Tigatron was played as a "samurai" ronin. Additionally, since Airazor was made male in the Japanese dub, instead of their relationship being romantic, Airazor was presented as Tigatron's ward whom he looked to as a "brother" (hence the close bond).

*His role in the Beast Wars cartoon was originally intended for [[Wolfang]].<ref>[[Ben Yee]], from a discussion with [[Bob Forward]], at [http://groups.google.com/group/alt.toys.transformers/browse_frm/thread/9c79c4226fc6dd28/30c3cdf158ea6e52?lnk=st&q=bob+forward+beast+wars+tigatron+wolfang&rnum=1#30c3cdf158ea6e52 alt.toys.transformers]. :No, I'm afraid not. :( I've only *seen* random scans. I know mostly that the manga was a comedy-relief effort much like BWII (why the Japanese insisted on interjecting comedy into Beast Wars I haven't a fucking clue), filled with lots of bad and goofy character redesigns. Tigartron wore samurai garb, Rattrap was turned into Pikachu, Cheetor was...totally fucking wierd-looking, etc. This site is the best I can do for scans at the moment: http://www.dvandom.com/bb99.html I am forever monitoring eBay, waiting to pounce on the first Beast Wars manga that shows up (so far all I've ever seen are guide books). --[[User:DrSpengler|DrSpengler]] 18:44, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Can you remove the caption that reads "Tranny"? I thoroughly dislike transphobia as much as I dislike racism or homphobia. You wouldn't caption a picture of Tracks with the word "Queer", so no double standards.
: I don't think the "Tranny" is a problem. Most of the captions on the site are smart-aliky (sp?) or sarcastic. The "Tranny" mearly pokes fun at the fact that Airazor was Female in all of Hasbro's BW material, but was male in the Japanese dub or BW, and female in Japan's ''Beast Wars Metals'' manga. That's one character being either male or female in Japan depending which of the offical media you looked at. Even when Hasbro changed the gender of a TF (C Override), the change was kept constant (no Hasbro material with Override as a male). --[[User:FortMax|FortMax]] 19:17, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
::Haha. When I was reading the summary in recent changes, I thought it was referring to Transformers. : <nowiki>*blinks*</nowiki> I wrote the caption in question.
Okay, I know I'm hardly an expert, but come on... is it so hard to believe that BW Scorponok can be named Scorponok and have a scorpion alt-mode before the Beast Wars? Maybe he named himself after the ol' Headmaster, or based his alt-mode on that ferocious form. I mean, Megatron called himself Megatron, didn't he? Same idea.
: I'm not sure there's anything in the article that suggests his name being Scorponok pre-BW IS so hard to believe. So colored me confused. --[[User:ItsWalky|ItsWalky]] 01:16, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, there's the picture caption of his exclusive comic iteration. It says 'Look at him... he was probably called Scorponok before the Beast Wars' or something, which to the casual reader (and I know there are only a few of those) would appear to be serious criticism. Plus I know you yourself had a separate figure painted up to look more like a pre-BW Scorpy (awesome, by the by), and I just figured there was some kind of perceived problem with it. Um, by the way, Walkyguy, since I'm new and useless... how do I identify myself on talk pages?

== Transformation ==
I think it's unfair to say this Scorponok has the same transformation as all the others. There's a significant difference here.. the legs fold out from the body, and are nice and long and slender and jointed.. the scorpion body then folds in half, with the legs being attached as 'ribs' instead of on the legs boringly. The only similar part is how the tail and claws don't go anywhere...<div id="wikia-credits"><br /><br /><small>From [http://transformers.wikia.com Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki], a [http://www.wikia.com Wikia] wiki.</small></div>

Huffer complains of being homesick for his homeworld of Cybertron. Yet he still fights to destroy the Decepticons' transdimensional radiowave scrambler, which would have allowed him to contact home, knowing that if he allowed the Decepticons to use the scrambler, it could mean disaster for the Earth-bound Autobots.
:''Voice actor:'' [[John Stephenson]] (English), [[Yutaka Shimaka]] (Japan)

Huffer was part of the original crew of ''[[Ark]]''-based Autobots who crashed on Earth four million years ago. In 1984, he awoke and was reformatted into a mini semi truck cab. An engineer and not a warrior, Huffer loathed combat and hated being stationed on Earth as he longed to return to Cybertron. [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] would often have to motivate Huffer, reminding him to remain courageous in the long fight. During one of the first engagements on Earth, where the Autobots attempted to stop the Decepticons from attacking an off-shore oil rig, Huffer was trapped in the debris. [[Brawn (G1)|Brawn]] came to his rescue, cutting Huffer loose from the wreckage.

[[Image:Hufferg1animated.jpg|right|thumb|200px|Great choice in cheerleaders, Prime.]]

Damaged in a fall from the top of the [[Ruby Crystal Mines of Burma]], Optimus Prime was encouraged by Huffer, [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]], and [[Gears]] as he painfully tried to transform back into robot mode. {{Storylink|More Than Meets the Eye, Part 2}}

Prime was ever accident-prone, though, and after being [[Heavy_Metal_War|beaten down by Megatron]] and again struggling to transform, Huffer was helpful enough to tow Prime's trailer back to the ''Ark''.

When [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] authorized [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]] and [[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]] to build robot dinosaurs, Huffer insisted that this was a waste of time. After the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]] were completed and unveiled, Huffer remarked, "Dino''bots''? I thought you were supposed to make Dino''saurs''!" and laughed. This was followed by an awkward silence.

Though his death was never depicted, Huffer's grave is later mentioned amongst those of the other Autobots who died during the attack on [[Autobot City]] aboard their interstellar mausoleum. Along with the mausoleum itself, Huffer's remains were later plunged into a red sun as a side-effect of a [[Quintesson]] plot. {{Storylink|Dark Awakening}}
Bummer.

There are rumors that Huffer actually [[:Image:DeceptiBrawn1.jpg|defected.]] Perhaps he finally found his happiness?

===Dreamwave comics continuity===
Huffer was a part of the crew onboard the ''[[Ark]]'' when it crashed into [[Earth]] four million years ago while clearing an asteroid in the path of Cybertron.

He was one of many Transformers captured and reprogrammed by arms dealer [[Lazarus|Adam 'Lazarus' Rook]] for lease to terrorist organisations and shady governments requiring brutal military might. Fortunately, Autobots under the command of Optimus Prime repaired and re-reprogrammed Huffer and the remaining captive Autobots. Immediately, they were put to work on fighting Megatron's metallic virus which had spread deep into Canadian territory. Huffer was seen to be very gung-ho about starting the blasting process when Wheeljack cautioned the group that the anti-virus requires converting their own interal energy, and he needed complete commitment from them if his plan was to suceed. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 5}}

Soon, the Canadian military arrived. Unfortunately, due to the recent attacks by both enslaved Autobots and Decepticons under the command of Rook, the Canadians attempted to stop the Autobots doing what they percieved to be an attack on their soil. When Wheeljack tied to explain what they were doing (in a rather agressive manner), the Canadians soldiers panicked and fired upon the Autobots. Huffer was blasted by a tank shell while trying to aid the fallen Wheeljack. {{Storylink|Prime Directive, Part 6}}

==Notes==
*It has been speculated by some fans that, in animated continuity, Huffer may have been created from Orion Pax's friend [[Dion]], the same way and at the same time Prime and [[Elita One (G1)|Elita One]] were rebuilt by [[Alpha Trion]].
::::Sort of. For example, they technically happen in two different continuity families. In Japan, there was this guy named Fire Convoy who had a bunch of dudes who travelled from another dimension to fight Predacons who travelled from another dimension on Earth in 2000, while G1 was going on elsewhere. Over here, it was another universe's Optimus Prime, no time travel or dimension hopping involved. The Decepticons didn't exist until Predacon Megatron built some. It wasn't just a direct translation, like Super Link and Energon were. Americans changed a lot, and the two versions happen in distinct universes, more similar to Galaxy Force and Cybertron in the beginning. --[[User:ItsWalky|ItsWalky]] 17:11, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
I realize Keller said the Decepticons were dropped into the deepest section of ocean in the world, but he calls it specifically something other than the Marinas Trench. To that end, using "Marinas Trench" doesn't seem exactly right to me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to quite decipher what he DID call it. Was anybody else? And what does other media say about the location? --[[User:Sntint|Sntint]] 15:19, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
I concur that the trench name from the film should be used here instead of the Marianas. --[[User:Steve-o|Steve-o]] 15:48, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
:Keller says "Laurentian Trench," which is a real ocean feature but by no means its deepest. He also says it's the deepest spot on the ocean at over 7 miles deep, which is correct for the Marianas.
