Drench
:Drench is a Decepticon Stormtrooper from the Generation 1 continuity family.
October 2009

Drench is the kind of bot that will steal a Mini-spy's energon credits, or tie a firecracker to a glitch mouse's tail. (To be fair, the pea-brained Go-Bot was just asking for that last one.) He's not so pleasant, though, when he's in a bad mood. Cross him, he'll take a terrible revenge.

Fortunately, this mean-spirited, foul-tempered bully is not very brave. Oh, he's certainly willing to blast limbs off Empties with his high-pressure fluid cannon, but if their friends show up to help, Drench is sure to change to his speedy vehicle mode and flee back to his safe desk job, where he can push his subordinates around with impunity, as the short-tempered tyrant of the Decepticon coordination department.

Everyone hates him and, this being the Decepticons, it's likely he would've "accidentally" tripped into the Smelting Pool if not for one thing—he can coordinate units of Decepticons with incredible efficiency. He's an indispensible part of the Decepticon war machine, meaning you'll have to lump it when he sticks your head down the bog.

Were this office bully to meet the youthful Autobot nerd who shares his name, the results would be familiar to anybody with school experience. Most likely they'd involve a waste-disposal unit.

Fiction
Toy catalogue comic
For some reason Drench is seen driving away from two Fearswoops and warning somebody (presumably the Autobots) that Decepticon forces were about to strike. Crazy Europeans!

Fleetway Generation 2 comics
The Stormtroopers were part of Bludgeon's forces dispatched on Earth to basically wreck stuff until Optimus Prime came to stop them. When Megatron appeared to take back leadership of the Decepticons, the Stormtroopers were called in to attack Megatron. Drench questioned if they should, since Megatron was a former Decepticon leader and all, but apparently that doesn't hold much water (ha ha), so they blasted him anyway. War Zone

Wings of Honor
Nine million years ago, Drench served as second-in-command of the Stormtroopers under Rage. A group of miscreants ostensibly operating under the Decepticon banner of rebellion, they were really little more than petty thugs and thieves looking to draw the attention of the real Decepticons and move up in the world. Drench took his position to heart, adopting a strict military formality which was a source of endless amusement for Rage.

Drench and the Stormtroopers had had encounters with the Elite Guard in the past during their criminal enterprises. Drench nearly got the drop on the Alpha Team's leader Thunder Clash before Landshark tore him to shreds. He barely made it back to home base in large enough pieces of Hydradread to properly reassemble and repair.

As tactical coordinator, Drench arranged for Terror-Tread and Cement-Head to take their places for the raid on Median. Rage was hoping to acquire an object of unspeakable power and worth called the Heart of the Dragon. Their invasion was complicated by the arrival of two Elite Guard teams, but continued nevertheless. Drench and Hydradread kept the majority of the Elite Guard occupied while Rage and Aquablast snuck past the defenses to steal the Heart. Aquablast didn't make it out, but otherwise Terror-Tread and Cement-Head were properly placed to cover the escape of Drench and the other Stormtroopers.

Back at the Metrotitan, Drench started to have serious reservations about his commander's plots. The Heart of the Dragon turned out to be a living laser core, capable of empowering any exo-frame with significant power and resurrecting the "dragon" named Brimstone. Drench questioned the logic of bringing such a powerful creature to life in a micro-frame, much less installing the laser core in the Metrotitan itself as Rage ultimately planned to do. Power for power's sake was not what Drench had in mind when he joined the Stormtroopers, and so he made a discreet exit to go and assist the Elite Guardsmen who were on the run from Brimstone. Drench alerted the Elite Guardsmen that Brimstone's power was unstable...volatilely unstable. His warning came just in time for them to all escape the Metrotitan before Brimstone exploded from within.

At Elite Guard headquarters, Drench complied fully with the Autobots' debriefing, and even provided a sample of Hydradread's liquid weaponry for reverse-engineering. At last record, Drench was undergoing significant retrofitting and paint modification before submitting an application to the Elite Guard himself. Flames of Yesterday

Predaking is highly unusual, perhaps even unique, among combiners by the successful fusion of each of his component elements' physical abilities and personalities. Most others of his kind are rendered stupid, suggestible, or borderline insane by the merging of minds, but the five Predacons are united by their shared love of the hunt, and produce a single complete persona. Between his physical prowess, unexpected mental acuity, and animalistic, almost instinct-fast hunting actions, Predaking is one of the most dangerous and intimidating weapons ever added to the Decepticon ranks.

Predaking first saw action during the short-lived Decepticon-Quintesson alliance in the year 2005. The Predacons attempted to prevent Blurr, Wheelie, the human Marissa Faireborn and the magnificent Sky Lynx from escaping Jupiter's moon of Io with Metroplex's transformation cog. When the individual Predacons failed, they merged into Predaking, but were quickly defeated by Sky Lynx. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 5

Soon afterward, the Decepticons took over the slave mining planet of Dread, forcing the halpess prisoners to mine the super-hard death crystals in a scheme by Galvatron to destroy Cybertron with a giant death-crystal firing cannon. When several slaves were frightened out of the mine by the monster Chaos, Predaking swooped down to recapture the escapees. Later, during an Autobot attack that saw Sky Lynx buried under tons of rock, Predaking separated Blurr, Wreck-Gar, Wheelie and Grimlock from Kup by blocking off the mine entrace with his laser sword. He continued to force the Autobots back to Sky Lynx (who had managed to escape the landslide) while shrugging off their laser fire. Meanwhile, Kup lured Chaos out of the volcano, causing another landslide that this time buried Predaking under tons of rock. Chaos (episode)

During an assassination attempt on the Autobots, the Predacons formed Predaking right before the Quintessons unleashed a nightmare effect on the Transformers. They were all confronted with solidified dream images taken from the mind of Daniel Witwicky. Predaking was quickly overpowered by the creatures and, after he split up, a dragon kidnapped Razorclaw to a distant castle, leaving the Predacons unable to combine again. After the dream-inducer was destroyed and the Predacons were reunited, Razorclaw was ready to resume the battle with the Autobots and ordered the transformation into Predaking. Unfortunately, Headstrong's leg had been injured fighting a giant dream Galvatron, and he was unable to join into their combined form. Without the might of Predaking, the Predacons chose to flee. Nightmare Planet

Predaking was patroling space when he picked up on a Quintesson transmission. Tracing it to a jungle-like planet, he split into his component parts to locate the source of the signal more easily. Once Sky Lynx and the Autobots beat the Predacons to the transmitting journal canister, they reformed as Predaking to renew their vendetta against Sky Lynx. Galvatron and Cyclonus soon joined Predaking, but his interest in revenge on Sky Lynx outmatched their interest in the journal, and Galvatron had to remind Predaking repeatedly and forcefully to keep his mind(s) on the mission. The Quintesson Journal Later on, Predaking fought alongside Galvatron and the Decepticons in Europe, but soon vanished before the whole "Ultimate Weapon" scheme was finished. The Ultimate Weapon

On Earth's moon, Predaking fought alongside the Terrorcon combiner Abominus until they, along with the other "primitive" animal-based Transformers, were called away by Primacron's Assistant. They were led to an ancient world, in the hopes their primitive instincts would defeat Primacron's latest creation, the energy-draining Tornedron. After the defeated Trypticon's corpse seemingly crushed Grimlock, the primitives split up and ran for their lives. The Predacons continued to run until Headstrong declared he would rather stand and fight than die running. Concurring, his fellow Predacons merged with him to form Predaking, but were quickly put into stasis lock by Tornedron. Call of the Primitives

As part of a series of Decepticon attacks on Japan, Predaking and Devastator pursued Broadside in the Sea of Japan. He was later part of the strike force led by the Matrix-possessed Scourge. The Burden Hardest to Bear

After the Hate Plague spread throughout the galaxy, Predaking was seen hunting down Galvatron with Scourge and Cyclonus. How robots infected with homicidal madness could work together as a hunting party, much less share a combined form, is anybody's guess. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 2
Years later, after several more Decepticon leaders had come and gone, the faction came under the rulership of the supernatural entity Violen Jiger. This mysterious creature's first action was to recruit a team of Nine Great Demon Generals from Decepticon history; Predaking was enlisted as his "Beast General" and outfitted with new armor and weaponry to make him even more powerful than before. The generals were charged with acquiring the two objects needed for Violen Jiger's ultimate goal: the Autobot super-fuel Energon Z, and the enigmatic, life-giving energy source, the Zodiac.
Marvel Comics continuity
noteukonly
Predaking's first outing on Earth was in the course of a hunt by the Predacons against the Autobot leader Optimus Prime. Prime having foiled the Predacons' initial attacks individually, they merged into Predaking and resumed the chase. Essentially Predaking's role in that hunt concluded once he had flushed Prime out into the open and worn him down, thus rendering him vulnerable to the attack of Megatron. The Predacons returned over the Space Bridge to Cybertron. Prey!

Predaking's next foray on Earth was part of a scheme by Shockwave to destabilise Megatron's sanity to such an extent that the way would be clear for Shockwave to take command. Shockwave supplied fake Autobrands to the Predacons (and thus Predaking by extension) and the Predacons ambushed Megatron in the swamps of Florida. Megatron did not recall who the Predacons were thanks to a bout of amnesia connected to his earlier involvement with them. The Predacons had similar difficulties subduing Megatron in their individual forms and merged to become Predaking. Predaking fared little better against Megatron and was rendered unconscious by a blast from the deranged Decepticon's fusion cannon. Gone but Not Forgotten!

Dreamwave comics continuity
Eons ago, the Predacons were banished from Cybertron to Beest, where their higher functions degraded, rendering them feral. Megatron, who had been overthrown by Starscream (well, thrown out of a shuttle), tracked down the Predacons, then modified them to become combiners, creating Predaking. Welcome to the Jungle

Starscream and his Combaticons were in training (with Sky Lynx of all people as a target) when Predaking suddenly arose from the sea, seeking to capture the treacherous Decepticon Air Commander. The Combaticons quickly formed into (the much-less intelligent) Bruticus and counter-attacked by destroying Predaking's shoulder-mounted guns. Forced back, Predaking quickly put down his opponent by firing one of his foot cannons at Bruticus' head, blasting off part of his face.

When Starscream fled, lamenting Bruticus' latest defeat, Predaking attempted to follow until Bruticus crushed one of his wings and threw him onto the island. Damaged, but not defeated, Predaking easily dodged the slow-witted Combaticon combiner's rifle blast, then erected a defensive energy field around himself to deflect the follow-up shot. As Bruticus pondered a possible rifle malfunction, Predaking punched his rival in the face with a spiked knuckle, then impaled the crippled Bruticus upon Headstrong's horn, finally deactivating the Combaticons.

This was the first time he won a fight. And it was against another fellow Decepticon. Oh well, better than nothing. The Route of All Evil

The Beast Within
For the first time in comic book history, Predaking is completely and totally owned. Except, you know, all those other times. Predaking would like you to ignore those. And this one too, come to think of it. The Beast Within

Devil's Due G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers continuity
The Predacons and Seacons got into a territorial argument after Megatron's death, which led to a face off between Predaking and Piranacon. Predaking emerged the victor but was stopped by Serpent O.R. before he could finish the aquatic combiner off. The Art of War issue 2 After Serpent O.R. recruited the Predacons into his new Decepticon army, he was tracked down by a group of Autobots and G.I. Joes, but Predaking protected his new leader by stomping Bumblebee unconscious. The Decepticons then organized an attack on an Autobot peace ceremony, during which Predaking, Piranacon and Menasor took out Omega Supreme. The Art of War issue 3 He then spent the remainder of the battle hunting down civilians. The Art of War issue 4
Generation 1
* Predaking (1986, 2004)
**Japanese ID number: D-78
**Accessories: Razorclaw's sword and cannon, 2 fists, 2 feet, head

:Predaking is, by far, the largest of the traditional central component-leader-type combiner toys. He is formed by combining all five Predacons together. Unlike the Scramble City-style toys such as Bruticus or Defensor, Predaking's arms and legs are not interchangeable. Razorclaw's sonic sword and beast mode cannon serve as Predaking's primary weapons, with Tantrum and Headstrong's back-mounted cannons as his feet.

:Like Defensor and Bruticus, Predaking's components were released in both plastic and metal versions. In his combined mode featuring each member in die cast form, Predaking is rather heavy for a Transformer. A complete combiner weighs in at exactly 1 kilogram (2.2lbs). This however does not upset the balance of the toy, as Headstrong and Tantrum have the bulk of the diecast. Japan only received the plastic versions during the original run of the Generation 1 toyline.

:Hasbro only released the individual Predacons, but a giftset was available in Japan. In late 2004, Predaking was reissued to much rejoicing of people who could not afford the after market prices on a vintage piece. This reissue used metal parts, and the pieces that were originally soft plastic were now hard plastic.

:At Tokyo Toy Fair 2010, it was announced that they would be reissuing Predaking once more, although press pictures depict them with a slightly altered coloration than the previous versions, using a more metallic paint scheme. Whether this reissue will use metal or plastic parts is unknown, and it is tentatively slotted for a late 2010 release.

:As part of the Titanium series 3" line, Predaking is constructed of mostly die-cast metal and plastic parts, but cannot transform and has very limited articulation. His sculpt and colour scheme is based upon the original G1 toy, but has Rampage and Divebomb occupying each other's positions, like the cartoon and comic model.
*Ricochet vs Predaking (2-pack, 2009)

:Robot Heroes Predaking is a small, super deformed and absolutely adorable figurine with articulated shoulders. He was only available in a two-pack with Ricochet.

:The US release of this two-pack has been cancelled, but it has been found in Singapore, Germany, the UK, Russia & Australia.

Trivia
*Predaking was designed by toy and anime mechanical designer Akitaka Mika, and was the only one of his proposed designs to actually be produced as a toy. This possibly explains why the Predacons do not conform to the then-contemporary Scramble City style of combining.

*A Predaking Action Master was planned at one point, but apparently went no further than a concept sketch. It was intended to be the included rider of a transforming dirt bike. While Predaking was scrapped, the bike was refined and included with the Action Master Axer.

*Incidentally, the aforementioned concept art was found in an Arby's parking lot after the end of 2000, where it had presumably come unstowed.

There's only one thing Autobots and Decepticons both agree on with no war or argument, and it's this: Blot is the most vile and disgusting Transformer ever assembled. He oozes fluids of questionable nature from various joints on his frame, and has a rank odor that usually keeps foes and allies far away from him. Naturally, all this scorn and insult has given the less-than-smart Blot quite the inferiority complex. Stuck with a hygiene problem he can't control and a central processor a few bytes too small, Blot is both unable to solve the problems of his own stench and talk back to the insulting comments from his peers. Brutish and slow-witted, Blot is the classic dumb bully to those who don't give him respect... although he's not sharp enough to tell when said respect is faked. He's immensely loyal to those who at very least pretend he's worth something, and Hun-Gurrr in particular is a Decepticon to whom he shows unwavering support.

The other Terrorcons, on the other hand, tolerate Blot enough, but are apprehensive about combining into Abominus with him, as it takes far too long to remove the stench he's passed on to them after they're finished.
In katakana, "butt" is usually rendered バット batto, while "boot" is ブート būto. It is equal parts possible that "butto" is a misspelling (intentional or otherwise), an alternate transliteration for "butt", or that it's "Bhutto", the name of a Sindhi tribe that resides in Pakistan.</ref>

Blot served Scorponok on Cybertron with his fellow Terrorcons, until the disappearance of Fortress Maximus, their greatest nemesis. After being alerted to the presence of Fort Max and the Autobots on the distant planet Nebulos, Blot and the Decepticons tracked down their quarry at the planet's capitol city, Koraja. Unfortunately for the Decepticons, the newly-minted Autobot Headmasters were more than tough enough to drive off the invaders. Broken Glass! The Decepticons were only temporarily deterred, however, and continued their reign of terror on Nebulos. Scorponok sent Blot and the Terrorcons, along with the Horrorcons, to attack the resort city of Splendora. When the Autobots arrived to defend the city, the Terrorcons merged to form Abominus, but the united Technobots became Computron, who used a combination of acid pellets and brute force to disassemble the robot and drive off the Decepticons. Love and Steel! Blot and the Terrorcons also joined Scorponok in an attack on The Nursery. Brothers in Armor!!

The Decepticons eventually traveled to Earth, and came into conflict with both Autobot and Decepticon alike. After a brief Decepticon Civil War, the united forces of Ratbat and Scorponok turned their rage on the Autobots under Optimus Prime's command. Blot gleefully joined in the battle, blasting the veteran Autobot Tracks with his acid spray. All parties eventually joined forces, however, against the Underbase-enhanced might of Starscream. The Terrorcons attempted to confront Starscream in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but were annihilated with a single wave of his hand. Dark Star (issue)

Marvel UK future timelines
In 2007, Blot was sent to the freelance peacekeeping agent known as Death's Head as an emissary for the Decepticon army. Death's Head had sought a bounty against Galvatron months earlier, only to have the offeror, Rodimus Prime, interfere with the collection and rescind the offer. Blot proposed the mechanoid use Decepticon resources to enter Cybertron undetected and track Rodimus Prime's predicted movements to get his revenge. Death's Head was unconvinced by this appeal to his sense of pride, so then Blot appealed to his wallet and instantly the mech was interested in the deal. Headhunt

Frothing at the mouth (and the neck, and the ankle joints, and...), Blot enjoyed terrorizing the human population on 2009 while on his way to the latest energon extraction site the Decepticons had rigged up. Unfortunately for them, Soundwave and the Terrorcons proved incapable of fending off an Autobot strike team, who quickly destroyed their laboriously assembled drill. Seeking revenge, Blot and the others chased their foes back to Autobot City, only to end up passing through a trans-time dimensional portal and getting caught up in fighting for the fate of the universe. It seems the former 21st century Decepticon leader Galvatron had been active in the 20th century for too long, causing a timestorm which threatened both ends of the timeline, at 1989 and 2009.

Soundwave ostensibly agreed to help their 20th century counterparts, but in reality kept Blot and the other Terrorcons in reserve, hoping the other various factions present would do the heavy lifting for them. In the end, Soundwave and the 2009 Terrorcons chose the better part of valor and fled back to their home time rather than face the fighting mad Galvatron. Time Wars
Blot's first appearance was with his fellow Terrorcons inside Unicron's head. Galvatron used them to blast into Unicron so he could retrieve more anti-electrons for an attack against the Autobots. Blot and the others did a decent job in keeping the Autobots at bay, but were quickly forced into retreating when Grimlock finished building the Technobots and gave them the ability to merge into Computron. Grimlock's New Brain

Later, the Terrorcons were seen under the service of the Quintessons. Dirk Manus had sold the Quintessons a Molecular Disassembler/Reassembler. Eager to test the device, they had Blot act as the volunteer. The test proved that the device not only disassembled and reassembled matter like the name implied, but also cured whatever it had been used on of all broken parts, maladies, and other flaws. Cured of his imperfections, Blot felt sick.

When Dirk and his Technobot escorts were on their way through space, Abominus swooped down and attacked, shooting them from the sky. The automatic timer in Abominus, placed within by the Quintessons, forced Abominus to separate into his Terrorcon components. The team was upset they couldn't finish the task of destroying the Autobots, though Blot and the team did get a second chance at going against Computron later. Money Is Everything

Blot, along with the rest of the Terrorcons, stole heat-resistant alloy from the Morgan/Swofford lab. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 1

In 2011, Blot and the Terrorcons journeyed to Cybertron over the long-abandoned Decepticon Space Bridge. They were part of the first wave of Galvatron's siege, hoping to gain control of Vector Sigma. Blot's team combined into Abominus to battle Superion. Four Warriors Come out of the Sky Later on, Abominus teamed up with his fellow combiners to wage war on their Autobot counterparts. Their victory seemed assured until the Battleship Maximus swooped in and scattered the Decepticon combiners. They barely survived the encounter. The Mystery of Planet Master On Earth, Blot and the Terrorcons intervened on Hot Rod's search for the Matrix of Leadership. Chromedome and the Autobot Headmasters kept the Terrorcons busy so that Hot Rod could complete his mission. Even after the Terrorcons formed Abominus, the Headmasters stood against them, and the arrival of Computron swung the odds firmly on the Autobots' side. Abominus was last seen with his head buried in the sand, being kicked in the side by Computron. Birth of the Fantastic Double Prime

When Galvatron launched a gravity-warping meteorite at the Autobots on Athenia, he brought along Blot and the Terrorcons to occupy the Autobot forces. Linking up as Abominus, they once again battled Computron and the Headmasters. Approach of the Demon Meteorite

Scorponok devised a scheme to harvest plasma energy from the planet Mars by setting off a series of explosives that would utterly destroy the planet, releasing its stored energies. Blot and the Terrorcons were responsible for planting the bombs. Hun-Gurrr was spotted by Daniel Witwicky, Wheelie and Shōki of the Trainbots, but the other Terrorcons managed to take them hostage. Explosion on Mars!! Maximus Is in Danger Blot and the Terrorcons managed to get two of the three sites set before being set upon by Raiden and the Headmasters. By forming Abominus, Blot's team held their own until Scorponok arrived with his mighty Transtector, MegaZarak. The giant scorpion occupied the Autobots long enough for the Terrorcons to finish their work, and Mars was consumed by the resultant atomic inferno. Explosion on Mars!! MegaZarak Appears

Soon after, Blot and the Terrorcons joined Sixshot the returning Galvatron on an energy raid. They sought to prevent the Autobots from re-energizing the distant world of Sandra, and steal the energy for themselves. Blot's team formed Abominus for yet another in a series of battles against Computron. SOS from Planet Sandra

After an extended mission in space, Blot returned with Galvatron and the other Decepticons, setting up shop on Earth under Sixshot's command. He joined an enormous offensive against the Autobots' facility in Miami, drawing out the troops from Autobot City so that Sixshot could kill Ultra Magnus. Body-slamming Computron as Abominus was just icing on the cake. Ultra Magnus Dies!! The warfare on Earth continued, as Blot and the Terrorcons assembled as Abominus in part of a five-fold simultaneous strike on Autobot interests engineered by Sixshot. The Emperor of Destruction Vanishes on an Iceberg As Scorponok assumed control of the Decepticons again, Blot was seen at a rally being held in his honor on Chaar. Blot and the Terrorcons later joined a Decepticon strike on the Kamchatka Penninsula, seeking to gain control of the Pacific Ring of Fire. I Risk My Life for Earth

As Scorponok abandoned Earth in favor of conquering Master, Blot was one of his many troops seen attacking the planet's fortifications. Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters (Part 2) As part of Abominus, Blot participated in the final battle with the Autobots at the North Pole. He escaped into space with the rest of Scorponok's Decepticons. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)

Seeking to create a Decepticon Zone to counter the Autobot Zone, Decepticon Emperor Violen Jiger gathered together the Nine Great Demon Generals, upgrading them with powerful new armor and weaponry, then sent them forth to conquer planets. Blot was one of those summoned, but only as a part of Abominus. Zone (story page)Zone (manga) Enter the New Supreme Commander, Dai Atlas!
The Terrorcons and Cyclonus intercepted Ultra Magnus's team during the search for Metascan Alpha. The Terrorcons united into Abominus, but the Autobots ignored them and continued with their mission. A short time later, Abominus came under attack from the Destructons and was blasted apart. The Terrorcons began a retreat and found themselves being aided by Ultra Magnus, resulting in Cyclonus agreeing to a truce between the two factions. The War Against the Destructons, Chapter 1 of 3

IDW comics continuity
Blot was one of the earlier warriors seen in the bloodsport tournaments on Kaon, part of Megatron's team as the future Decepticon leader rose in prominence. He remained part of the movement when the pit-fighting broke out into active terrorism, and was seen dismembering security officers with his extra arms just before Sentinel Prime returned with his Apex Armor. Megatron Origin

In the present, he has joined with Hun-Gurrr and several others to form a squad called the Terrorcons, who are also major fanboys of Sixshot. They were deployed to Mumu-Obscura, but were taken prisoner by the Reapers to lure Sixshot to the planet. The Reapers offered membership to their little club so long as Sixshot destroyed the Terrorcons, to which Blot offered no reaction whatsoever, nor did he react when Sixshot appeared to take the Reapers up on their offer. After Sixshot declined the invitation, the Reapers allowed the Decepticons to leave in peace. Spotlight: Sixshot

Blot's next goal in life is to get the courage to say something in Sixshot's presence.

:Blot transforms into a navy blue and lavender monster. What sort of monster is a hard factor to determine, as the details molded into him don't particularly point to any one creature. His shoulder span and long arms indicate something ape-like, while his pointed nose and sloped head give him an amphibian-like appearance. Pretty much, if you say Blot looks like something (say, a giant ambulatory nose), he has a decent chance of actually looking like it. However, his SG counterpart's bio states that it is an ogre.

:Blot's monster mode is nicely poseable for the time, having hinge elbows and full swivel shoulders and hips. His head can also rise up a bit, but due to his unpainted eyes, the effect is negligible. In robot mode, his articulation is reduced to just a single joint per arm. His box art shows these to be his elbows, but from looking at just the toy, they could be his shoulders. Due to his broad monster mode width, Blot's small, square-peg head conspires against him and makes him look immensely out of proportion.

:He can form the leg or arm of any Scramble City-type combiner, though he is nominally Abominus's right arm. He can also attach to Metroplex's robot mode.

:There is a variant of Blot which does not have the rubsign indent.

Trivia
* Longarm is the only Mini-Con expressly identified as being part of the live-action universe. (Though Japanese promotional Mini-Cons Noise Effect and Torque Gain were available with movie product, their instructions use the notably-different "classic" Japanese Transformers logo rather than the movie logo, seemingly placing them within the Generation 1 realm. The promotional Guardian Micron team featured no logos whatsoever, and may also be live-action continuity Mini-Cons.) Since there is basically no official information on him, just what being a Mini-Con in the movieverse entails is a mystery.
*However, he may be a Micromaster, but with the same issue.
