Allicons are another breed of the Quintessons' enforcer-units, often used as guards for more important members of the race. They are slightly smarter than the Sharkticons, even capable of speech, but free will has been pretty thoroughly removed from their programming, to the point where they will malfunction if resisting a direct order.

Though small compared to many of her peers and adversaries, Arcee compensates with speed and aggressive maneuvers, making her one of the most dangerous Autobots around. Moreover, Arcee is a born hunter. She honed her speed hunting turbofoxes with other speedsters, challenging herself to get as close as possible before tagging them with her bow. She's a crack shot with said crossbow weapon, and Ironhide has trained her to use her speed to her advantage in battle, striking suddenly and swiftly and then vanishing away again as fast as she appeared.

Arcee believes without question that the Decepticons must be stopped at any cost.

Arcee was one of a handful of Autobots under the command of Bumblebee who desperately fought against Megatron's vast army at Tyger Pax. She was captured and interrogated by the Decepticons but survived the ordeal. She recounted to their Autobot rescuers Bumblebee's heroics in delaying Megatron, preventing Megatron from intercepting the wormhole-bound All Spark.

Target Robovision Bio
Arcee was on Earth for a short time at the beginning of the conflict there, presumably arriving shortly after Bumblebee. When the situation on Earth began to ramp up into out-and-out combat, she was reassigned elsewhere, where her stealth skills would be of more use.

Now she fights in the Charii system against a Decepticon splinter cell working on a star-breaking weapon. If she has her way, the only things breaking will be their heads.

: Arcee is a redeco of Energon Arcee, replacing her pinks, most of her whites and blacks with blue, and her translucent red with smoky brown plastic. She transforms into a 'superbike'-type racing motorcycle. Unusually for a Transformer, she does not hold her weapon in her hands as most figures do. Instead, her Energon Bow mounts on a peg in her arms, with her hands being positioned to give the appearance of her using the bow. The bow itself is spring-loaded, firing a grey missile 'arrow'.

:Arcee (and the rest of the Scout wave) are exclusive to Target stores, where they are all part of a Robo-Vision promotion. Arcee comes with a Robo-Vision Decoder which allows you to see the Robo-Vision Code printed on her cardback. Starting June 2, 2007, Target's website allowed users to input those codes to access exclusive content. <!--Arcee's code is "BULLSEYE."--> Similar to the Cyber Planet Key from the Transformers:Cybertron toyline.

: This mold also was used to make Superlink Ariel Paradron Type, as well as 2005 Descent into Evil set's Chromia, Flamewar, Flareup, and the fellow Target-exclusive movieverse Elita-One.

: Deluxe Arcee transforms into a purple 2006 Buell Firebolt XB12R motorcycle, genericised to get around licensing issues. Maintaining the high standard of vehicle mode realism of the movie line, Arcee is perhaps the most realistic motorcycle Transformer released yet. As an off-screen design (though she originally was going to be an on-screen character), Arcee has references tampographed on her vehiclemode, such as her motorcycle's model name "RC 1100", and her number plate (from the state of Massachusetts) marked TF7407, the original release date of the movie.

: In robot mode, Arcee is quite accurate to the final CG concept design, though with more solid limbs and and a more recognisably feminine appearance influenced by Energon Arcee's sculpt and general arrangement of parts. Reasonably articulated, Arcee features ball joints in her arms, hips and neck with swivels rounding out her ankles, knees and wrists. Arcee's Automorphing feature is located in her crossbow weapon (formed out of the seat/storage area of the bike), activated when the projectile (the bike's tailpipe) is inserted which pushes out the recurved lath parts on the sides of the weapon. Amusingly, in robot mode Arcee is one of the tallest of the Deluxe class figures released in the movie line thus far, which no doubt makes Jazz feel even worse.

: The rectangular peg which is supposed to be used to attach her weapon to her forearm, in robot mode, is sometimes a poor fit, and the weapon may pop off. As an alternative, the round peg by which the weapon is attached in vehicle mode can also be used in robot mode, with a little rearranging of parts.

: As with most larger Transformers toys that become motorcycles, Arcee has a kickstand on the left side of the bike, and can accomodate 3'3/4-inch G.I. Joe figures with varying degrees of sucess.

Trivia
* Arcee was originally going to be a member of the live-action movie's Autobot cast, but was later replaced by Ironhide. According to screenwriter Roberto Orci, they would have needed to explain the point behind female robots, which there wasn't any time for in the movie. It's commonly assumed that Arcee's big part in the movie would have been the scene in which William Lennox starts his solo assault on Blackout using an abandoned motorcycle.
* As part of 2007's Hasbro tour, fans viewed "Robot Scale Chart v03", dated 11.22.05, which showed Arcee's height as 9 feet. However, all of the designs on this chart were very early and later revised.
Arcee is a female Transformer, usually found in the same general area as her friends and fellow Autobots Hot Rod and Springer, both of whom she cares for deeply. The level-headed and logical one of the three, it is usually Arcee who needs to rein in the other two when their egos or attitudes are getting out of control. In addition to being a fierce warrior and talented gunner, she also just might be one of Rattrap's relatives.
:Voice actress: Susan Blu (US), Masako Katsuki → Yōko Kawanami (Japan)

Although there are many other female Autobots, Arcee appears to be the only one to hold any sort of rank or position amongst the forces found in Autobot City. She seems to share the same basic design as the medical bots on the planet of Paradron. During the assault on Autobot City she was instrumental in helping Springer transform Autobot City to repel the Decepticon invaders, buying precious time for reinforcements and likely saving many lives. She was among the few Autobots to survive Megatron's savage blitz on the city, and was nearly left behind when Galvatron forced the Autobots to evacuate.

Arcee survived the attack, and the crash landing on the planet Junk, all the while going to great lengths in order to protect and care for young Daniel Witwicky, a human friend of Hot Rod's who had wound up on the shuttle with her. Throughout the entire battle with Unicron, Daniel's safety was Arcee's top priority. The almost maternal connection between Daniel and Arcee was a powerful one, which was only strengthened some time later when they became binary bonded as Headmaster partners during an adventure on the planet Nebulos.

The Headmasters
(The Headmasters anime ignores the events from the 3-part "The Rebirth" story arc)

In 2011, Arcee either lost her taste for combat or was slapped into her place by the male Autobots. Mostly because, throughout Headmasters, she acted as Fortress Maximus' secretary. This is not an exaggeration. She was literally his secretary, filing reports, working computers, and monitoring events. At one point she wanted to go with Rodimus Prime, Blurr and Kup to search for a new homeworld after Cybertron blew up, but Rodimus told her to stay because she's a girl, and girls can't do anything but stand around, worry, and make coffee for the men. During a party shortly afterward, she slow-danced with Chromedome, and the pair had something resembling a mutual attraction throughout the show. (At one point, Chromedome becomes aroused at seeing her transformation from a car.)

Dammit, Japan . . .

Marvel Comics UK continuity
Arcee was constructed by the Autobots in an alternate future 1995 as a good-will attempt to placate angry humans who thought that they were "sexist" for having no women in their group. After trying multiple times to explain that Autobots, being robots, had no gender, Optimus Prime surrendered and ordered Wheeljack and Ratchet to make a new Autobot who would meet the humans' demands for sexual equality. However, when Arcee was unveiled at a public ceremony, her pink, skinny, pink, curvacious, and pink form enraged the very audience Prime intended to placate. Shockwave, Horri-Bull, Fangry and Squeezeplay who immediately attacked, looking to crush the "secret weapon" that was promised. Prime warned Arcee to stay back, lest she get hurt in battle, but the female Autobot, rightfully annoyed at the Autobots' lack of faith in her equal ability, singlehandedly forced the Decepticons into a retreat. Hot Rod thought that was pretty hot. The feminists were enraged beyond words. Prime's Rib!

Arcee and Hot Rod became quite friendly, but with his ascension to Prime status in 2006, they began to drift apart. She was stationed at Autobot City on Earth and got bored by her duties. The Quintessons attacked in 2008, stringing out the city's population to the wall and using a wounded Arcee as bait to attract Rodimus; when he tried to use the Matrix to heal her, they stole it and he reverted to Hot Rod. Despite her injuries, she assisted him in awakening Metroplex and devastating the Quintesson fleet. Space Pirates!

On New Year's Day 2009, she was part of Rodimus' team in the time-jump to 1989 during the Time Wars and helped take down Galvatron. They returned to their time only to find it had reset so Galvatron never time-jumped and had instead conquered Cybertron. Aspects of Evil!. She joined a hundreds-strong Autobot team in fleeing to Earth to regroup. When the Matrix-imprisoned Unicron possessed Rodimus, Arcee showed a more ruthless side in being the only one of the Autobots to advocate using lethal force on him. The Void! (UK) - White Fire As Unicron would go on to possess Rodimus again and devastate Cybertron in 2010 - an event she witnessed - her ruthless attitude appears to have been the right one all along...

Dreamwave comics continuity
Arcee can be seen as a member of Hot Rod's underground rebellion team on Cybertron, battling the forces of Shockwave. Both Hot Rod and Springer appeared to be in love with her, though she seemed rather uninterested in both of them. In reality, Arcee was a sleeper agent for the Quintessons.

Due to Dreamwave's bankruptcy, this story was never concluded. Thank god.

During a battle against a horde of killer Nightbirds, Daniel and Wheelie sacrificed their lives to end the threat. The death of Daniel took a serious toll on Arcee's personality, turning her into a depressed and brooding stereotype. A pink one. She can foresee other characters' imminent deaths, except when she can't.
Toys
Generation 1
: For some bizarre reason, despite her being a major character in the movie, no actual transforming toy of Arcee in her original cartoon model was ever made. (Maybe it's because she's a pink girl -- nah, couldn't be.) Images of a hand-sculpted prototype have appeared in several Takara publictions, but it appears the toy never progressed beyond that stage.

: The Japanese Transformers Generations book shows a piece of concept artwork of the Headmaster Chromedome car in pink and white labelled "Arcee", a proposal for a redeco of the toy as Headmaster Arcee from "The Rebirth". (Presumably, then, this was a Hasbro-initiated idea.) The idea does not appear to have gone any farther.

Beast Machines
*Arcee (Mega, 2001)

: The very first true transforming Arcee toy (and currently the only official one of the Generation 1 character) is a redeco and minor retooling of the Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia, transforming into a malformed mish-mash of machine and organic parts in the form of a large spider. The spider-mode fangs become a grappling weapon for her robot mode which extend on a retractable string. The robot mode also features a spring-powered waist-swivel for "power kick" action. Arcee lacks the retail version's additional chest armor, and the oddly-placed holes in her... well, chest, that keep the armor in place.

: Arcee was available only as an exclusive to 2001, and along with Tigatron were the first time since the inception of 3H that they were allowed to use pre-existing characters for convention exclusives. Arcee is also the first convention toy to feature retooling. Preorders recieved their Arcees with a bonus; the box contained a light-sensitive sound chip featuring voice actress Susan Blu's voice saying "Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE!". These chips are VERY light-sensitve. Many won't shut up to this day.

:Note: Arcee's packaging does not explicitly place her in the Beast Machines toyline; however, her box uses the BM-era "Transformers" logo, and the character is placed on BM-era Cybertron; by contrast, 2001's other BotCon exclusive, Tigatron, used a box with the Beast Wars name and Transformers logo.

Trivia
*When asked about Arcee's design in an interview, Floro Dery's reply was, "Arcee is the naked mechanical equivalent of Princess Leia of Star Wars." Well, that answers that question . . . while raising a whole bunch of others.

*Arcee fires her gun twice in the original movie.
:The first time, she tries to shoot a Decepticon in the back as they retreat the attack on Autobot City. She misses.
:The second is inside Unicron, fighting his immune system. She tries to shoot a claw (missing again), and instead breaks open a some giant container of water, separating Daniel from the Autobots.

*Arcee has the most romantic attachments of any Transformers character: Hot Rod in the G1 movie and Dreamwave continuity, Springer after the G1 movie, Chromedome in Headmasters, and Bumblebee in Devil's Due continuity. And then there is the weird affection shown toward Daniel in The Rebirth Pt.3, but most fans don't read too much into it.
:Voice actor: Jimmie Wood (English)

Bonecrusher was hiding out in the motor pool of a military base when he received a communique from Starscream ordering the Decepticons to to mobilize and converge on the location of the All Spark. He rendezvoused with Barricade and Devastator, and the three Decepticons headed off together to intercept the Autobots and their human allies who had the All Spark in their possession.

Devastator wandered off somewhere, so Bonecrusher and Barricade continued their pursuit on the freeway. Barricade activated his sirens to clear the traffic and allow them more maneuvering room. Unsatisfied with Barricade's less conspicuous method, and since he hated rush-hour traffic, Bonecrusher used his mine-scoop to flip cars out of his way. (He kinda liked that.)

After Barricade pulled over to the side of the road, Bonecrusher transformed while still moving and skated towards the Autobots. Optimus Prime transformed and slid into position to block his path. Seeing the Autobot he really hated (and that's saying a lot), Bonecrusher smashed through a bus (it irked him), and tackled Optimus Prime, pushing him off an overpass tumbling and falling off the edge, dragging the Autobot leader down with him.

However, Optimus Prime hit Bonecrusher so hard one of the Decepticon's optics popped free from its socket (he liked that eye... well, no, he didn't, he just hated not having it more), and the two played a little cat-and-mouse along the overpasses. After Prime jumped down to ground level, Bonecrusher swung his tail wildly at the Autobot, all the while screaming incoherently. This gave Optimus the opportunity he needed to get his sword ready... which the Autobot used to sever Bonecrusher's right arm and stab through the Decepticon's neck, decapitating him. Optimus then wrenched the head from it's neck and discarded it on the ground, he hated that too.

: Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path. He has six rolling wheels in this mode, and two sculpted, non-functional spare wheels.

: In robot mode he has elements resembling both his 2005 design and the final design used in the movie, though a major deviation to both designs is that the entire front shell halves of the vehicle mode are mounted upon his arms. His arms have limited articulation due to this kibble, but can extend out into really long arms. His legs fare better, with ball jointed hips, swivel knees and ankles, but his hips can often detach from the codpiece holding them together. The mine-fork splits to form a grabber-claw, which can snap onto victims with a geared slider Automorph mechanism.

: He is surprisingly okay with these little tools of death.

Trivia
* The real Buffalo mine-sweeping vehicle hasn't in fact, such a huge fork. It is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide. The image that inspired Bonecrusher's design was actually a Photoshopped image put on the official Force Protection company's site to make it look more impressive. A 10-foot-wide (3 m) appliance had to be fixed on Bonecrusher's arm for the movie. He hated that.

* Force Protection really, really loves Bonecrusher and that he has picked their Buffalo as its alt mode. They are actually quite proud of it. Bonecrusher is not sure what to think about that.

* Bonecrusher's toy was used as a prop for a CNN Headline News report demonstrating the real Buffalo vehicle's mine-sweeping arm. He hates the Lincoln Memorial.

* It's a matter of debate whether or not Bonecrusher actually said anything intelligible in English during his brief appearance in the finished film, or whether he is talking in Cybertronian. At various points in his fight with Optimus Prime, he does emit some garbled roars that might be English. However, there is little agreement among viewers as to whether he said anything at all, much less what he supposedly said. Or it could just be that he hates speaking coherently.

*It is also worth noting that Bonecrusher is the only transformer that appeared in the movie to not have any of his toy molds re-used (Scorponok doesn't count because he's technically a part of Blackout) for recent or future toys. Bonecrusher hates that.

: He is named "Bonescrusher" on the Canadian cross-sell.
: As part of the AllSpark Battles refresh of the Movie toyline, a Legends-class Jazz with altered paint applications is repacked in a Versus two-pack with an all-new Legends class figure of Bonecrusher.

: It is currently unknown if this set is mass-retail or an exclusive of some sort.
