Perceptor identified them as brain impulses—''evil'' brain impulses—carrying orders to the Heart of Cybertron. The three Autobots grabbed onto one of the evil brain impulses, and it swiftly carried them to the Heart's location. They let go just before the impulse plunged into the Heart of Cybertron, seemingly vaporizing in the process.<br /> <br /> By this point, Megatron was carrying out an assault against the Autobots. Because of this, the constant stream of impulses made it nearly impossible for Perceptor to reach and disconnect the wires feeding commands to the energy booster; Brawn had to save Perceptor from one of the oncoming evil brain impulses as he severed one of the wires.
