This article really needs the MSRPs, not my guesses. I don't exactly know the size classes in RiD, so somebody else has to fill that in. Also, were "Super" and "Supreme" used in Armada? Singularity 22:57, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
: Yessir. --ItsWalky 01:02, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
: RID uses the same classes as Beast Wars up to Super, but I don't know what Air Attack Optimus Primal sold for.

Done some tweaking. It's interesting to note that Cybertron was the first line to actually have the modern "Ultra" price point officially called "Ultra".

What qualifies for "size classes"?
Was wondering about Deployers and Beast Riders... Are they actually "size classes" in the strict sense? Same for the role-play toys.

And then we would have the store exclusive assortments such as the RiD KB "Destructicons" Scourge & Bludgeon, Energon KB Cyclonus & Demolishor, Universe KB Snow Cat & Downshift, Universe BiaB Magnus/Treadshot & Smoescreen/Ransack and whatnot.

Are "assortments" and "size classes" the same? Because then we would have those one million different assortments from the G1 days, which introduced some of the names later used by the price points ("Autobot Deluxe Vehicles", "Deluxe Insecticons", "Mega Pretenders", "Ultra Pretenders").--Nevermore 17:11, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
:Go nuts. Can't hurt. Interrobang 17:16, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
: I'm not so sure. In G1 and G2, often two or more case assortments would have the same price yet still ship at the same time, such as the Autobot and Decepticon Headmasters and Targetmasters. Plus, the prices weren't uniform between stores as they are now. It wasn't until Beast Wars that all figures of the same price were confined to one assortment . unless you count the Fuzors vs Transfetals in '98, but then it was Basic/Deluxe Fuzor/Transmetals.
:: How about adding it as a note, then? G1 and G2 were like this... and then Hasbro more or less consolidated uniform price points with Beast Wars, yadda yadda.--Nevermore 21:44, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Not putting this in the article yet, as it still needs some work. The Armada Mini-cons and Op Op are under pre-existing rows with their prices listed, as having an entire row for a price point that was used in just one line from BW on would just waste space. --FortMax 20:18, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
:Prices are difficult because they change... this chart treats them lore like a price-point than a size-class.
:(I liked the size class system used by the Cybertronian Index, an expanded version of the BW sizes that included every size toy.) -Derik 20:33, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

I think the price point is much simpler and more accurate. The BW Megas are about halfway between current Deluxes and Voyagers (often called Mega class) when it comes to size and complexity. OpOp (Super) is somewhere between current Ultras and Leaders/Supers. BW Ultra toys are about eguivelent to current day Voyagers/Megas. This also fits with the prices. The main exception is the Basic class, has fluctuated some, but the dip from RID is from the class being (aside from Obsidian) nothing but Scramble City limbe and Spychangers. --FortMax 23:48, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

:Useful for comparing how things were sold. Not so useful for tellign you how big a toy actually is. How big were mini-cons, which were never sold singly? Price point does not reflect their size.
There have been reports of an upcoming Omega Supreme toy in the animated line listed as an "Omega Class." Any idea what size that is? Is that the $50 price point, or something... even bigger? 24.217.142.86
:As far as I can tell, these are nothing but unsubstantiated rumors so far. As soon as Hasbro says something official, we'll leap upon it like starving chihuahuas sighting a weiner.
RotW Prices
What about prices for the rest of the world? Are they too varied to be included, or not? Shifting exchange rates will mean that there is probably some considerable inconsistency between $$, ££ and €€... I just bring it up because I saw the first batch of RotF toys in a store today (in Germany), costing €12.99 for Scouts, €19.99 for Deluxes. Yahoo! tells me that that is about 28.30 USD for a Deluxe, which most Americans would probably consider somewhat extortionate... Any thoughts about mentioning this sort of thing? -- pbett, 30th May 2009.
