'strue. Hasbro was really, really desperate to use the name Fortress Maximus on something, and Omega was their first choice. That didn't go through for some reason or another, so they opted for Metroplex. Metro ALSO didn't get the name, but the REAL Fort Max did. This is based off a thread on The Allspark dealing with character origins, so I can't really cite a source.<br />
