Despite being an intelligent tactician, an excellent aerial combatant, and an otherwise model [[Decepticon]], his reactor containment module is defective, so wherever he goes, toxic fumes go with him, and circuit-scrambling radiation waves constantly leak out.

In short, he is a smelly loser whom no one likes.

Originally an unhappy aerial surveyor before the war broke out, Divebomb joined the Decepticons with much gusto. When he’s not stinking up the place, he prefers to perch high up in the sky and wait as long as it takes for just the right moment to strike unsuspecting Autobots. However, considering how long it takes for him to spring into action, [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]] doesn’t hold him in high regard. However, he’s quite pleased at how quickly he can [[The Reign of Starscream issue 5|blast open a fleeing spaceship]].

In the distant past, Divebomb was a member of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]'s defense forces, under the command of [[Megatron (Movie)|Protector Megatron]]. When a [[The Fallen|mysterious relic]] was discovered and aliens from the [[Eshems Nebula]] invaded, Megatron declared a military dictatorship. Divebomb followed Megatron in his vengeful counterattack upon the invaders. {{storylink|Defiance issue 2}} After science sector leader [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus]] was discovered to have broken into Megatron's quarters, the Lord Protector ordered the scientist's arrest and the assassination of his followers. However, the wily Optimus managed to escape and punish Megatron's troops for their treachery. Unfortunately, it didn't work. While Starscream was trying to figure out what was going on, Divebomb sided with [[Dreadwing (Movie)|Dreadwing]] in the his coup against Starscream's "reign". To add to the confusion, Autobots led by [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]] attacked, and Divebomb was forced to square off against [[Skyblast (Movie)|Skyblast]]. Distracted, he was grabbed by the cheesed-off Starscream, thrown into the bridge canopy of [[Nemesis (Movie)|Dreadwing's ship]], and then used as a living (and unwilling) incendiary device.

I'm debating undoing the "not a Kiss Player" addition, but can't quite justify it based on the general humor tone of the rest of the wiki, so I'll leave it to someone else. I'm also tempted to change the picture caption, as I'm pretty sure those aren't sandals. (The dark orange parts of the feet appear to be the shoe uppers, rather than a differently colored part of her socks.) However, that just seems ridiculously picky somehow. ::::::Well, Spike and the other Witwickys have 80s Cartoon Disease - just look at the other Hasbro show from the same time period, GI Joe. They were all "human" in the same way. But Spike never whipped out his wallet and used it to revive Optimus Prime. And frankly, I find a lot of the plot devices in TF:CHINS just as laughable as G1, only now with uglier art and more obnoxious humans. In fact, that's WHY I find it watchable - the writing is so similar to G1's lulzy improbability that I enjoy it immensely, or at least enough to ignore the terrible art. People bitching about the art style reminds me of when [[wikipedia: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|Zelda: Windwaker]] first came out for the Gamecube. People dismissed the game as "kiddie" just because of the cell-shading style, but it was actually a very enjoyable game, just as challenging as any other in the Zelda series. Actually, Sari reminds me very much of Tetra in that game.

That doesn't make the statement inaccurate, because it is describing a generalized opinion of hundreds of active fans. Apparently all the editors paying attention to this page feel that in ''their'' observations of other fans, Sari seems to have been better received than most humans. The phrasing "reasonably well liked, more so than usual" doesn't even remotely mean "all the fans think she's great". It means exactly what it says -- she is liked more than most human characters, ie. the majority of the fandom does not despise her. As a rule of thumb, Transformers fans (treated as a homogeneous group) hate human sidekicks. There are certainly pockets of the fandom that hate Sari. But she is, on average, *not* hated. I don't really see why so much of this article was removed. I think the sections that were here called Pre-GoBots, International, and Cartoon were all appropriate and belong in the article. The fiction ties between TF and GoBots are minimal, but from a real-world historical perspective, I think that the history and nature of the GoBots brand is quite relevant to Transformers history. TFU.info and M Sipher's TF variations list both have extensive GoBots coverage, and I don't recall anybody saying those were inappropriate for TF resources to include. I am not suggesting that turn this into a "Transformers and GoBots" wiki or anything. After having finally gotten ahold of the episode 'Sentinel' I am struck by the great irony of this statement. The list above uses a quote from that episode to show that the Gobots are purely mechanical... when the climax of the episode reveals that statement to be a lie. All three Renegades are scanned in that episode and each is shown with an organic brain. What does a time reference have to do with anything? It seems like a random complaint to discredit the minicomic - we have no idea what the life-cycle of the organics of Gobotron was.

Now, it's clearly possible that the continuity of the cartoon and the minicomic don't line up (that happened often enough in Transformers), but the minicomic states that the GoBots were cybernetic beings in at least one continuity, so there's no arguing ''that'' point. Whether the cartoon strictly adhered to this or not is another matter. (I also think the original inhabitants of Gobotron were called Gobanes and not Gobings, but that may be an accent issue.)

Yes, but the needs of The Last Engineer do not necessarily equal the needs of the Gobanes themselves. The Last Engineer did not adopt a GoBot form, so replaced his parts over time, is how I took it... and add to this the fact that the Last Engineer said that he was "more human than GoBot" in Quest For New Earth, heavily implying that the final result of his own cyberneticization would be a GoBot body.

(Technically a cyborg? He's missing both arms, a leg, and at least a quarter of his head.)

I've read on the [http://counter-x.net/gobots/reviews/super1/zeemon.html Counter-X GoBot site] that Zeemon was evidently the first to receive his GoBot form from the Last Engineer. Now, this does not happen in any of the episodes I have watched, but there ARE a good 15-16 that are not online in any form, so I can't discount that the fact was revealed in one of those. If the Last Engineer developed the GoBot form, and said he was more human than GoBot while being an obvious cyborg, well... no, it's not out-and-out stated, but it's not that big of a leap, either.

While valid points on one level, I assume "the same reason acid rain hurt the Autobots but not Chip Chase".

It would take a while to address these other points, but on the whole I see them as intentionally skewering the facts towards your position. It's clear that the marketing failed to properly convey the cyborg idea, but I don't see what other conclusion can be easily drawn from the existing facts, especially in light of the minicomic and the Last Engineer's background.
