With the threats of Galvatron and the black hole at last extinguished, the Autobots must look to the future.

Synopsis
On Cybertron's moon, Optimus Prime finally brings Galvatron's evil to an end, destroying his eternal foe with the added power of Vector Prime's sword.

Weeks later, as life returns to normal on Cybertron and the other colony worlds, Optimus Prime calls an "intergalactic peace conference" to decide what should be done with the Cyber Planet Keys. With Bud and Jolt filming the whole shebang for posterity, Override, Scourge, Metroplex, Evac and Colonel Franklin arrive from their respect planets to attend the talks, but none of them is expecting the suggestion Optimus Prime then makes. Rather than hide the Keys and the Omega Lock away, Optimus proposes that they follow in the footsteps of their ancestors, and begin a new space bridge project! Everyone enthusiastically supports his proposal...except for Jetfire, who is unsure about accepting command of Cybertron in Prime's absence. All the other Autobots stand up for Jetfire and agree to support him in his new role, and he takes it on with gusto, even giving Bud an interview.

Also on the interview roster are Leobreaker and Scourge, who relate the royal rumble that was held on Jungle Planet to decide its new leader. Scourge wound up winning the boxing match, and so stays on as leader, appointing Leobreaker the Jungle Planet representative for the colonization mission. A leader also has to be found for Velocitron, and so the Speedia 500 is held to make the decision. Hot Shot wins the race, but had no idea of the prize, while the prize Ransack was racing for—Thunderblast's heart—seems forever destined to elude him.

Down on Earth, the civilian Autobots and Ancient Decepticons are pitching in with the relief effort, and even Thundercracker seems to enjoy being an Autobot. Crosswise and Evac wonder what their next step in life should be, and Evac is convinced by Lugnutz to join the colonization program. Also on Earth, in the Autobot base, Bud is editing his film together, while Safeguard looks at Vector Prime's old launch pad from outside, and wistfully remembers the image of his old partner flying out of the base. Nearby, Coby and Lori are also contemplating the stars, as Coby tells her of his dream to build a spaceship and join the Transformers in space in the future. Lori hopes that she'll be able to come with him, and although she tries to backpedal on her reason for saying so, both these young people know what is truly in their hearts.

Also on Earth, Coby and Bud's brother Tim is getting a lift from Chief Dobson, who sees a future filled with chores for Tim now that his brothers can boast that they saved the universe. As they drive on their way, they pass the traffic light Autobot and his payphone pal, and once they have moved off out of view, the traffic light can stand it no longer, transforms to robot mode, and runs off to join the colonization mission!

The next day, all the Transformers gather on Cybertron to board the four ancient starships. Many goodbyes are said, and many new friendships are forged: the Gigantions are thrilled at the prospect of building a bridge across the universe... Scourge tries to hide his sadness at Leobreaker's departure... the kids give Override a farewell gift... Dirt Boss and Brakedown arrive to join the mission too, Brakedown determined not to be outdone by all these youngsters... Evac strikes up a conversation with Backstop... the Recon Mini-Con Team bid a tearful farewell to Safeguard and the Gigantion Mini-Cons... Landmine thanks the kids for all they have done for him... the Cybertron Defense Team vows to always be bound together, even if they are apart... Lucy Suzuki says goodbye to Colonel Franklin before joining the small human team that is also going on the mission, and the Colonel is left dumbfounded by her cheerful belief that he wants to marry her... and finally, Optimus Prime formally hands over command to Jetfire. When Prime calls him "commander," Jetfire corrects him: now and forever, there is only one true commander, and that's Optimus Prime.

Just before launch, a transmission comes through from Wing Saber (who had previously departed Cybertron when the peace conference began to seek adventure elsewhere), informing the Autobots that he has discovered a lead on Starscream's location. Landmine overhears and request to be relieved of his duties on the space bridge mission so that he may join Wing Saber in this quest, and Optimus agrees to allow him and Mudflap to do so. With this final order given, Optimus says his goodbyes to the children, and is given Vector Prime's Planet Map by Bud with the request to return it to the aged Autobot if they should meet him somewhere in the universe. With tears flowing freely throughout the crowd of assembled humans and Transformers, Optimus Prime gives the command to launch, and the great starships take to the skies.

Flying by as the ships take off, Thundercracker wishes Optimus Prime farewell, but then, his attention is caught by a small, rattletrap rocket carying Thunderblast, Ransack and Crumplezone away. He flies over to see what's going on, and they tell him they're tired of playing nice, and have decided to become the "New Decepticon Army". They grab Thundercracker, haul him into the rocket, and strip him of the Autobot symbol he has pasted onto his chest, as he wails and cries about wanting to be on the winning side.

As the starships leave Earth's atmosphere, the Planet Map glows in Optimus Prime's hand, and the image of Vector Prime appears before him, written across the stars, a smile on his face. Optimus nods once, solemnly, and calls for the engines to be set to full throttle. And so, the Transformers set course for the far reaches of the universe... for new worlds... and new adventures.

'Til all are one!
Notes
Differences with Galaxy Force
For whatever reason, the final episode of the series has the most changes out of any of 'em!

*All of the dialogue delivered by a narrator in Galaxy Force is, as usual, given to a character in Cybertron. For this episode, that character is exclusively Optimus Prime, leading to a few odd moments where he refers to himself in the third person.
*The opening scene of this episode is a replay of the finale scene of the previous one, as Optimus Prime finishes off Galvatron. There is one piece of new footage mixed in with the old: after Prime bids his foe farewell, this episode sees Galvatron open his mouth and reply. However, while he can be heard to groan Prime's name in Galaxy Force, in Cybertron, no sound escapes his lips.
*As in the previous two episodes, the landscape of Cybertron differs between each version of this episode, with Galaxy Force featuring background paintings of organic trees and fields of grass, and Cybertron replacing the trees with CGI-animated technorganic equivalents and the grass with circuits boards. Check out the previous two episode articles for some visual examples.
*Optimus Prime does not immediately appoint Jetfire leader in his place in Galaxy Force; Jetfire's reaction is not shock at being appointed, but discontent at Prime deciding to leave on the mission. When Prime and Jetfire talk later, Jetfire starts out by opposing the notion as Cybertron will be left without a leader, at which point Prime gives him the task.
*In Galaxy Force Ransack is not racing merely to impress Thunderblast, but because she has promised to marry him if he wins. Ransack and Crumplezone start fighting after they lose because Ransack gets angry at Crumplezone for telling him Thunderblast isn't interested in him in Cybertron, but in Galaxy Force, it's because Crumplezone wasn't aware of the marriage proviso.
*In Cybertron, Bud freaks out and runs out of the Autobot base to get more tape for his film; in Galaxy Force, Jolt has reminded him that it's dinner time and he needs to get home.
*In Galaxy Force, Tim has been picked up by the nameless driver after another automotive breakdown, who says he was happy to do it because of his brothers' role in saving the Earth, causing Tim to express amazement that he knows them. In Cybertron, the driver is turned into "Chief Dobson", who jokes that Tim will be doing all the chores for his universe-saving brothers for a long time.

*In Cybertron, Brimstone is looking down dismissively on all the other Transformers who want to fly, until Undermine tells him to leave them alone. In Galaxy Force, he can't remember which ship he's supposed to be on, until Undermine calls him over to the right one.
* Scourge's attempt at feigning disinterest in Leobreaker's departure is more convincing in Galaxy Force, where he is not about to burst into tears as he in Cybertron.
* The marriage proposal between Colonel Franklin and Lucy Suzuki is flip-flopped across the two version. In Cybertron, Lucy proposes on behalf of Colonel Franklin, believing that it's what he wants to say, and the colonel is left incredulous. In Galaxy Force, on the other hand, Franklin says that he will wait for her to return, and Lucy teases him by saying that he should come chasing after her. He doesn't, but he promises quite excitedly to wait!
* As all four ships take off, the music accompanying their departure in Galaxy Force is the show's first opening song "CALL YOU... Kimi to Boku no Mirai", which has not been heard since "Countdown to the Destruction of the Galaxy". Naturally, Cybertron replace this with its own theme music.
*In what is easily the biggest, most famous change made to the entire series, the montage of the starships departing has two scenes of new animation added into the Cybertron version of the episode (pictured at right) to further tie the series in with the two preceding parts of the Unicron Trilogy. One depicts thirtysomething versions of Rad White, Carlos Lopez and Alexis, the Autobots' human allies from the Armada cartoon, with the image of their old partners the Street Action Mini-Con Team behind them, while the second features a late-twenties Kicker Jones, their ally from Energon. Kicker has an image of Hot Shot in his Energon body behind him, but let's be honest—that was probably supposed to have been Ironhide.
*Cybertron cuts out one of the "further adventures" images seen in the credits, which is a nice, clear close-up of Bud winning his Oscar. The scene is still in the show, but only as a less-visible image on a television screen that Coby and Lori are watching.
* After the ending credits in Galaxy Force in the TV broadcast, Optimus addresses the audience and says "Thank you for everything!"
Animation or Technical errors
*Optimus is rather oversized in the wedding still. This does not make it look any less cool.

Transformers references
*In the brief glimpse we get of the President appointing Franklin as Earth's ambassador to Cybertron, there is one other young woman visible on stage, standing to the far left. By all appearances, this is Alexis, drawn to the specifications of Energon character model, in her purple jacket and skirt, with name-tag and un-fashion-conscious white sneakers. And the thing is, this was in the Galaxy Force version too!
*In Soundwave and Sideways's scene during the credits, Soundwave is carrying the music player based on his Generation 1 counterpart that Sideways was seen using back in "Memory".

Real-life references
*When Scourge uppercuts Leobreaker, the camera angle shifts to show a mouthguard flying up into the sunlight (see right). While surely downright baffling if you don't know what you're looking at (why would a robot wear a mouthguard?), this image is an iconic shot associated with the boxing manga Tomorrow's Joe.
*Backstop describes Scourge as "the once and future king" of Jungle Planet, referencing the book of the same name by T.H. White.
*In Galaxy Force, Bud contemplates changing his name to "Steve" when he becomes a director, probably a reference to a certain Mr. Spielberg.
*As Jolt gives Safeguard his farewell embrace, he says: "I'll miss you most of all, Tin Man!", a paraphrased line from the movie version of The Wizard of Oz. In the movie itself, it was the Scarecrow that would be missed most of all, but, see, they're robots, so... Tin Man.

Trivia
*Chronologically speaking, this is the final episode of the Cybertron storyline, and was indeed the final episode of Galaxy Force broadcast. However, since the Cybertron broadcast of the series had smooshed the first two episodes together to create "Fallen", the episode count was down by one, and the second episode, "Inferno" was dubbed in its entirety to make up the numbers, becoming a "lost episode" that was broadcast (and released on DVD) as the 52nd and final episode of the Cybertron series.
Thundercracker
:Thundercracker is a Decepticon from the Armada and Cybertron portions of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Thundercracker suffered from low self-esteem and longed for approval from authority figures to validate his existence. He was willing to work as hard as necessary to gain attention and praise from Megatron, but when all his efforts were ignored or taken for granted, he grew frustrated. Thundercracker felt the need to engage in ever more risky and reckless behavior in an attempt to gain Megatron's notice. Many predicted this would lead to his destruction.

When next we see Thundercracker it is over ten years later, loyally serving under Starscream during the search for the Cyber Planet Keys. In the intervening years he became something of a jokester and goofball. This has often gained him the attention that he craves. Though frequently, especially when Megatron is the brunt of the joke, it is far from positive attention. Thundercracker doesn't seem mature enough to tell the difference, but he does know when to get the smelt out of Decepticon HQ before Megatron looks for someone to pummel.

Fiction
Cartoon continuity
Armada cartoon
When both the Autobots and Decepticons encountered the powerful Nemesis Prime on a strange world, they were thoroughly thrashed by the evil Optimus Prime look-a-like. The Mini-Cons accompanying the Autobots joined together to repair the Transformers and give them extra power. When Starscream gained his new coloration, he stated with distaste that he looked just like Thundercracker. Puppet
:Voice actor: Mark Oliver (English) Kazunari Tanaka (Japanese)

Thundercracker was next seen ten years after the end of the Energon War. Issued with orders from Megatron to look for and attack whatever Autobots he could find, Thundercracker opened a warp gate to Earth. Before emerging, he scanned a nearby Sukhoi Su-35 jet for disguise. He apparently liked it, saying, "Now this is a shape that can do some damage!"

Thundercracker soon spotted Landmine walking through a Colorado forest with three human children. He attempted to blitz the group with missiles, only to miss completely. He then found himself tangling with an airborne Optimus Prime, whose Super Mode proved impervious to missile fire. When Prime detonated Thundercracker's next missile volley in the Decepticon's own face, 'Cracker beat a hasty retreat via warp gate. Fallen (episode)

Later, Jetfire caught Thundercracker harassing two human-piloted fighter planes. Jetfire took several hits Thundercracker's missiles to keep the planes safe long enough for Vector Prime to teleport them to safety, robbing the Decepticon of his fun. Thundercracker got some digs in by easily dodging fire from Jetfire's robot mode, but was stopped in shock as Jetfire summoned his Cyber Key for the first time. He was promptly blasted by the Autobot's newly activated shoulder guns.

The next time Thundercracker clashed with the Autobots was outside a museum where they were investigating a lead on the Omega Lock. Thundercracker revealed that he was now able to summon a Cyber Key, resulting in stronger shots. Starscream called for his own Cyber Key, and the battle was going in the Decepticons' favor until Landmine arrived. After a false start, Landmine knocked Starscream down, and then activated his Cyber Key, creating a gust of wind that not only knocked Thundercracker backwards but crashed one of his own missiles into him. Poor Thundercracker. Landmine (episode)

charstubfiction

Back outside the boundaries of the Unicron Singularity, Thundercracker and the few remaining Decepticons still loyal to Galvatron were given a boost of Omega Lock power, super-sizing them so they could take on the massed armies that had gathered from all of the colony worlds to oppose them. Thundercracker took on Optimus Prime himself to give Galvatron time to achieve his goal. However, Thundercracker was then gang-attacked by Leobreaker, Hot Shot, Jetfire, and Landmine, giving Prime the opportunity to chase Galvatron into the black hole.

Thundercracker continued to fight and very nearly came directly into the path of the singularity-collapsing cannon-blast from the massive Ark starship.

After the defeat of Galvatron and the closing of the Unicron Singularity, Thundercracker realized that Galvatron was going to let him die in the cataclysm that his plan would have caused, so he ran off along with the other now-de-powered Decepticons. When the rocket boosters that were built on the Jungle Planet to push the world back to its normal place in the cosmos began to fail, the four Decepticons arrived, cackling...and helped with the efforts to keep the thrusters upright and functional, deciding to try being on the winning team for once.

Thundercracker then spent most of his time on Earth under the supervision of Mudflap, helping rebuild cities damaged by the Singularity's effects. When the Autobots were ready to begin their Space Bridge initiative, Thundercracker went to see off his new "best friend", Optimus Prime. Unfortunately, he ran across his former Decepticon allies, who were sick of trying to fit in and so had built a ramshackle rocket and taken off to form the New Decepticon Army. The trio shanghaied Thundercracker, who really didn't want to join them, and took off for parts unknown.

They made it as far as Mars before the rocket crashed. Poor Thundercracker wound up with his head buried in the ground, although presumably he wasn't stranded. Beginning
**Accessories: Wing-sword, 2 "blast" missiles

: Thundercracker is a redeco of Armada Starscream, transforming into a Cybertronic fighter jet. In both modes, pressing down on his cockpit canopy activates electronic sound effects; in jet mode, it also deploys his Mini-Con partner Zapmaster if he is stored under the cockpit. Plugging a Mini-Con onto his rearmost Powerlinx plug releases two spring-activated over-shoulder spring-loaded missile launchers, as well as more electronic sound effects. His left wing detaches and unfolds to form a large sword for use in robot mode. He is something of a rarity in the Armada line, in that he is a redeco that is a new, separate character rather than a "Powerlinx" upgrade of an existing character.

: This mold was retooled to make Armada Skywarp and Universe Ramjet.

: For the Built to Rule line, Thundercracker was once again a redeco, a new-color version of the Starscream set. He can be assembled into a Cybertronic fighter jet or a robot, or to whatever else you feel like making out of the blocks provided (or any blocks you feel like adding). He came with a building-brick version of Zapmaster. The set features two missile launchers that use a unique "twist-block" pressure-launch mechanism. He was one of the last of the Transformers Built To Rule toys released at wide retail.
**Japanese ID number: GD-02
**Accessories: Drone rocket, Earth Cyber Key

: Part of the first wave of the Cybertron series, Thundercracker transforms into a Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jet. Inserting a Cyber Planet Key into his rear fuselage pops up the back panel, revealing a spring-loaded missile launcher. This assembly becomes his left forearm in robot mode, despite being almost as long as he is tall. He came with a silver-bordered Earth-style Cyber Planet Key; the Hasbro release has the Key Code "d98d" tampographed on the back of it.

: The Takara Galaxy Force release of the toy is slightly different from the later Hasbro Cybertron release, mainly the Hasbro version added a Decepticon insignia to the missile-launcher cover.

: This mold was also used to make Cybertron Skywarp and live-action movie continuity Divebomb.

:Thundercracker's instructions show him with his wings sitting somewhat high and his left arm relying on the stiffness of its swivel to stay up. On the Hasbro version of the mold, a defect makes this swivel loose, and as a result his heavy left arm tends to fall down. This was finally remedied with the addition of a pin for Divebomb. However, a closer look at Thundercracker reveals his instructions screwed up. His wing assembly is supposed to sit lower on his body, and the left arm is supposed swivel in farther, locking in place between the chest and the wings.

: In 2006, Target got multiple exclusive toys and reduced-price multi-packs, among them a set with unaltered versions of Thundercracker and Crosswise for about 75% of the cost of two Deluxes normally.

: A smaller, simplified version of the deluxe toy was released in the fourth wave of the Legends of Cybertron line. Unlike the large toy, this version has two robot-mode fists, and the blaster-weapon is now an arm-mounted double-barreled weapon.
For this series, Thundercracker came packaged with Excellion.

Notes
* According to Joe Kyde, the reason for Armada Thundercracker's red face was because the gray plastic used to make the eyes is unpaintable plastic, so he changed the original plan from gray face and red eyes to red face and gray eyes.

* According to the Transformers Armada The Ultimate 3D Combat Files: Dark Invaders, Thundercracker is Starscream, upgraded by Unicron. Just no.

* In Cybertron, Thundercracker, like Waspinator before him and Tutor Bot after him, is regularly injured for comedic purposes. Something in which Ransack and Crumplezone later join him.

* One of Thundercracker's lines in the episode "Inferno", as well as several other episodes, is "git 'r' done". Seriously.

* Between his "Rain of Ultimate DEEE-struction" in Darkness and his "Super 'Lectric Lightnin' Thundercrackin' Punch" in Ambush, Thundercracker seems particularly fond of making up ridiculously dramatic attack names. Strangely enough, the attacks themselves proved to be effective, but whether this says more about Thundercracker or his target (Jetfire, both cases) is hard to say.

* In the last episode of Cybertron, Thundercracker showed no signs of hard feelings towards the Autobots, and was even shown working hard on the Space Bridge for them. Even later when he is shanghaied by his former allies, he is shown wearing a rather badly drawn Autobot symbol on his chest. This stands in some contrast to his Generation 1 namesake, who hated anything that couldn't fly but felt doubts when innocent human lives were in danger.

* Of all the Decepticons in the Cybertron cartoon, Thundercracker is the only one who stayed loyal to Megatron/Galvatron from start to finish (well, at least till Galvatron betrayed him).
:The Shimmer is only a legend — OR IS IT? — from the IDW comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family

For years unnumbered, even the bravest Autobot warriors hardened in battle against the most gruesome Decepticon weapons have lived in terror of the mysterious supernatural force known only as the Shimmer. It is believed to be a harbinger of imminent and inescapable death, and those who see it often suffer severe psychological breakdowns and depression upon the realization that they are doomed. Apparently never captured on recording devices, the Shimmer allegedly takes the form of a fast-moving greenish optical illusion.

Fiction
Last Stand of the Wreckers
When Autobot psychoanalyst Rung attempted to evaluate Flattop, he found his subject to be morbidly depressed after a recent sighting of the Shimmer, which had so terrified him that he fainted. Rung attempted to reassure Flattop that the Shimmer was only a myth, and that what the poor unfortunate had thought he had seen could easily be explained: Flattop had recently had to upgrade to a new body after suffering the agonies of the unspeakable poisonous weapon known as Gideon's Glue, and so the odd visual phenomenon could be caused by his new optic sensors not yet being properly integrated with his brain circuitry, or the psychological trauma from his horrific injuries, or both. Rung kept reassuring Flattop that he was not going to die — but Flattop didn't hear him, having just died at that moment.

Other Autobots also found themselves plagued by the Shimmer, including Guzzle, Rotorstorm, Pyro, and Ironfist, each reacting with varying degrees of shock, terror, and even violence.... until in every instance the Shimmer actually resolved itself into a holographic projection of Springer, as he invited each of them to join the Wreckers.

Springer had also attempted to reach out to Flattop, giving him a similar vision, but upon seeing how quickly Flattop was completely overwhelmed by fear Springer had terminated the connection and never explained himself. Later medical investigations concluded that Flattop died when some previously undetected remnants of Gideon's Glue in his system penetrated his brain. Bullets

Notes
* Given the similarity of the descriptions in the story, it is not clear whether there is a "real" Shimmer that is the basis for this macabre legend or whether it is the result of a misunderstanding about the Wreckers' summoning hologram. The latter explanation would require either that all prior Wreckers commanders had been green, or that the color of the Shimmer changes throughout the eras of retelling the fable, or that the two phenomena share colors out of complete coincidence.

* All who perceive the Springer hologram as the Shimmer die.... except Guzzle, who still came pretty close. (And Guzzle turned Springer's offer down the first time...)
Things looked grim for the group until Ramulus, Primal Prime and Apelinq arrived and saved them. ===Universe: Featuring the Wreckers===

Deep within a newly reformatted technorganic Cybertron, the Wreckers battled Cryotek, mastermind behind and benefactor of a far-reaching plot to capture the Divine Light for himself and use its power to siphon the power of Primus himself. As Cryotek mutated himself into a gigantic entity with the abilities of a god, the empowered Predacon fired upon Apelinq, but it was Primal Prime who dove to take the shot. Instead of saving Apelinq, the two were fused together and fell, defeated.

But this was not the end for either. Apelinq and Primal Prime were merged by Primus into the mighty Sentinel Maximus.

Even still, Cryotek's powers were greater, and he and Sentinel Maximus fought a prolonged battle through the corridors of Cybertron. Their battle's path was directed according to instructions from their Quintesson guide, Al-Badur, which landed both of them within a Quintesson banishment chamber. Unfortunately for Sentinel Maximus, the Quintesson activated the chamber with all three inside, trapped in front of a dimensional portal with a powerful pull. As Sentinel Maximus and Cryotek fought each other while trying to keep their distance from the portal, help arrived. Cheetor and a battle-weakened Rodimus, both Matrix Templars, used their abilities to drain power from the Divine Light which was empowering Cryotek. While this did remove power from Cryotek and shrink him to a more accommodating size, he still possessed enough power to threaten Cybertron and its inhabitants. Selflessly, Sentinel Maximus shoved Cryotek through the portal, and the two vanished through it.

Both found themselves hovering in a dark, empty dimension, but before Cryotek could reach Sentinel Maximus, the latter was taken away by Primus to do battle elsewhere in the multiverse. Wreckers: Finale Part II

Fluctuations in the fabric of the multiverse caused by the Unicron Singularity pulled Sentinel Maximus out of the Universe war and into the center of the Unicron Trilogy's Cybertron near the beginning of the search for the Cyber Planet Keys. Recruited by Alpha Trion to assist Vector Prime, they were all suddenly under attack by Unicron's minions, Ramjet and Nemesis Prime. Sentinel Maximus fought back, but his adversaries retreated after destroying both Alpha Trion and Vector Sigma. Balancing Act (issue)

After discovering that his battle with the zombie Dark Scorponok at the Kalis Primary Energon Reserves Control was just a diversion, Sentinel Maximus, along with Vector Prime, hunted down the two deep within Cybertron near the chamber that held Primus's lifeforce. Balancing Act, Part 4 Vector Prime fought Ramjet, taking their battle far into Cybertron's atmosphere, while Sentinel Maximus tried to prevent Nemesis Prime from unleashing the Dead Matrix on Primus's lifeforce, which would allow Unicron to defeat Primus and consume the multiverse, ending all existence forever. Sentinel Maximus failed, and Nemesis Prime sealed himself into the chamber alone, Balancing Act, Pt 5 being stopped only by the chance appearance of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus from the Robots in Disguise universe. Revelations Part 1

After this battle, Vector Prime had defeated Ramjet, but was severely drained. He left the enigmatic Velocitronian Skyfall in the obviously capable hands of Sentinel Maximus, with instructions to take him far, far away and keep him safe, for Skyfall was very important for unspecified reasons. Revelations Part 2

A while later, Sentinel Maximus brought Skyfall with him to help end the violently dangerous Mini-Con civil war that had erupted on Cybertron's moons. Revelations Part 4 The civil war was actually constructed by the newly reborn Unicron, who wished to kill Skyfall and the likewise-important Landquake. Unicron attacked Sentinel Maximus, singling out the "Chosen of Primus," and Sentinel Maximus was unable to get the tinier Dark God off him. He cried for help from Omega Prime, who succeeded in blasting Unicron away from him. Revelations Part 5

While Sentinel Maximus was occupied, Skyfall and Landquake disappeared in a devastating explosion. Sentinel Maximus mourned Skyfall's apparent death and voiced an apology to Vector Prime. The war was ended immediately when Primus appeared in robot mode above them, causing Unicron to flee.

Months later, after the threat of the Unicron Singularity was removed and the war between the Autobots and Decepticons was ended, Sentinel Maximus and the rest of his crew met that universe's Optimus Prime and his troops. He learned of Vector Prime's death and told Override of Skyfall's demise. Revelations Part 6 It is not known whether Sentinel Maximus accompanied Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime on his mission to find Unicron or was returned to his own universe.
* Sentinel Maximus went through several names before he saw release, the most notable being "Vector Prime." Hasbro rejected the name because they didn't want to dilute the concept of Primes, but later used it themselves for Cybertron Vector Prime anyway.
* Despite Sentinel Maximus's name change, his shipping carts still said "Vector Prime" on them.
* Early on, Sentinel Maximus was to come with translucent redecos of the Cyberjet molds, meant to represent three sparks trapped inside the Divine Light for whom he downloaded digital bodies into reality. Instead, Hasbro decided to use those molds themselves for Universe.

* Sentinel Maximus's paint mock-up featured the Wreckers faction symbol (the Autobot symbol with a hammer for its forehead) tampoed on his shoulder and the inside of his right arm (seen to the right). The production piece mistakenly had normal Autobot symbols instead. Additionally, his bigger head was originally sculpted to be much wider (also seen to the right), and feature Prime-like antenna, but these didn't fit well during transformation, so his head was narrowed to eliminate the antenna.
* Due to 3H Productions' loss of the convention license, Hasbro mailed out the Sentinel Maximus toys to their owners, using old mailing lists that had many outdated addresses. Some buyers never got theirs at all.
* Because of 3H's then-recent dissolution, Hasbro recreated an entire new packaging design, box art, and profile, presumably to avoid a potential legal battle. The packaging bio avoids mentioning details of 3H's Wreckers story, neglecting to note Primal Prime and Apelinq's union, and referencing Cryotek vaguely by describing a battle with a "diabolical and long-forgotten entity from the polar regions of Cybertron." Instead, Sentinel Maximus is described as a herald of Primus who emerges from the "shadows of Time to serve as a guardian over Cybertron during its darkest hour."
* Furthermore, instead of the intended name "Hyperlinq" for the Mini-Con, "Ape-Linq" is used on Sentinel Maximus's packaging, possibly because the trademark for the former had not yet been secured. Curiously, there are no trademarks claimed, registered or otherwise, next to Sentinel Maximus's name anywhere on the box. Trademark is claimed for Sentinel Maximus on the photocopied set of instructions included inside.
* Sentinel Maximus pretty much fails at everything he attempts to do.
the Beast Machines and Universe character
:Triceradon is a Dinobot and Autobot from the Beast Machines portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Triceradon is not the smartest Dinobot around. Making up for this, however, is his very amiable, truly friendly nature and his titanic strength in battle. Those qualities are what lead T-Wrecks to make him second-in-command of the Dinobots.

Triceradon's technorganic hide is tough as iron and his horns can generate paralyzing reverse electro fields. He carries two reactonix grenades in his tail.
3H Wreckers Comics
The Dinobots were sent to an unnamed planet by the Oracle, in order to awaken the "sleeping giant" for a mysterious purpose. However, the mission was a fool's errand, arranged by the Quintessons and designed to destroy the Dinobots; the planet was the world where one of their most dangerous creations ever remained a prisoner, the energy-draining Trans-Organic creature known as the Dweller. While his fellow teammates went off to search for the sleeping giant, Triceradon remained behind with the shuttle. Betrayal

Triceradon was one of the few Dinobots who survived the battle. He and the others were later seen hooking up with Devcon at Spaceport CSSB-16 in order to track down the Wreckers' betrayer, Cyclonus. Disclosure

The team headed back to Cybertron, arriving in time to help repel the Quintesson invasion there. During the course of the battle, Triceradon was struck by a mysterious energy field, and vanished into thin air. Wreckers: Finale Part II
*Triceradon (Deluxe, 2000)

: Triceradon is a redeco of the Beast Wars Neo Destron Guiledart. He transforms into a Triceratops, and has a third mode that's supposed to look like a dead, decomposing Triceratops. Really. His beast-mode tail detaches to become a spring-loaded missile launcher, plus his dino forelegs have flip-out (non-firing) blasters for robot mode.

: The same mold was used as Triceradon for the Wal*Mart exclusive Dinobots line as well, but since that line sadly lacks any backstory or bios it is unknown what connection, if any, that version has to this one. A retooling of this mold was used to make Killer Punch.
*Dinobot Triceradon (Deluxe, 2004)

: Triceradon was redecoed as an Autobot for the Universe line. His name was given the separately registered Dinobot as a prefix in a probable attempt to make the line look more cohesive with the previously released Dinobot Striker.
