Seriously, we know he's going to be a bounty hunter, he's based off a bounty hunter, official release or not, his card states he's a bounty hunter. This isn't anything close to anything offensive, so why are you so up in arms against a CORRECT categorization? - Karhukjnsi {{unsigned|Karhukjnsi}}

There's nothing officially released that declares he "steals parts". Just because he can use Ratchet's weapon does not directly indicate that he "steals parts" for all we know he could've bought it off the Autobot medic regardless of absurdity. So if you're going to take off any potential mentions of his profession (which is what he's initially referenced from) then why allow something else that is unofficially recognized? == Bounty hunter or not? ==

To most who visit this page, we are already familiar with the previous incarnation of this character's profession as a "Bounty Hunter". If you've read the previous discussion/"argument" (of sorts) with Detour, then you'll understand where I stand on the subject, if not, then please read the following.

It's argued that information "leaked" should not be entered into a wiki, though most arguably fair-enough assumptions are accepted; including, concerning this character, that he "steals parts", due to him being able to connect and use Ratchet's EMP weapon (a very specific characteristic to the previous incarnation). The characteristic of stealing parts is an attribute that is well-documented on the Animated incarnation of the character (again, more specifically the case with Ratchet's EMP weapon), as is another well-documented attribute being his profession as a "bounty hunter".

This character has been noted as an "homage" to the previous version, which even extended to an alternate form extremely similar to the previous version, a "hook" weapon (commonly found in the character's right hand), and to include him as an enemy to this continuity's version of Arcee and Ratchet (officially declared on Hasbro's TF site). Given all the various information both official and safely assumed, is it not then also safe to assume his profession would also carry over strongly intact enough to be placed in this article?

:Occam's Razor suggests that Lockdown will be portrayed exactly like his ''Animated'' counterpart, given the large number of ROTF characters whose personalities are based on their G1 forebears (Blazemaster, Nightbeat, etc). :We're interesting solely in being right, not first. As such, waiting until the toy is released is perfectly fine and won't hurt anybody. Once one of the editors gets a Lockdown toy (and someone likely will, as he's awesome) you can rest assured they'll add all of his info.
