Fiction
Revenge of the Fallen movie
:Actor: Matthew Marsden

Graham, the most senior British soldier taking part in NEST's Shanghai operation, rode in field commander Major Lennox's helicopter on the way to the site where the Decepticon Demolishor had been detected. He listened as Lennox emphasized to the team the need to maintain secrecy and keep the Decepticons out of the public eye. Once on the ground, Graham and Sergeant Epps led the NEST troopers in on Demolishor's signal with their scanners, only to have the Decepticon emerge from his vehicle mode disguise and attack, injuring many soldiers. As Demolishor and Sideways fled, forcing NEST to give chase, but eventually Optimus Prime and the Autobots destroyed the Decepticons.

Though the operation had been a victory, it had been costly for the humans. Upon returning to NEST's base at Diego Garcia, Lennox, Epps and Graham took part in honouring the bodies of their fallen comradesthis needs to be rewritten with the correct military term, before returning to the command hub to give their report to General Morshower, overall commander of NEST. Unfortunately, NSA director and government pitbull Theodore Galloway interrupted, airing his and President Obama's skepticism that NEST was achieving its goals of protecting Earth in light of the damage that had resulted from their operations.

Things soon came to a head when the Decepticon leader Megatron was reactivated and the Decepticons came to Earth, seeking Sam Witwicky. Though NEST rolled out to assist the Autobots, they arrived too late to prevent the death of Optimus Prime, a major blow to NEST's morale. With Prime's death, Megatron's master The Fallen launched his attack on Earth, causing thousands of deaths among military personnel and civilians alike. As NEST and the Autobots were grappling with these events and the death of Optimus, the odious Galloway turned up with soldiers to strip Lennox of his command and cease NEST's anti-Decepticon operations. Evidently, the President was willing to seek out a diplomatic solution (including handing over Sam Witwicky) to end the Decepticon attacks on Earth. Graham pointed out that giving concessions to the Decepticons would give their enemies an excuse to demand more from humanity, something Galloway briefly considered before dismissing, ordering NEST back to Diego Garcia.

After former Sector Seven agent Seymour Simmons contacted Lennox and asked him to bring the body of Optimus Prime to Egypt (where the Autobot leader could be revived), Graham feigned ignorance when Galloway became suspicious of what Lennox and Epps were discussing with their C-17 transport pilots. Evidently he was successful, as Galloway believed Lennox when the NEST pilot faked engine trouble to force the NSA director to parachute from the plane.

After landing in a village, Graham ordered the others to cover Optimus's body while they took positions around the town. After a few minutes of waiting, Graham had a visual of Yellow team about four kilometers out, and fired a flair to guide them to the landing site. Unfortunately, the flair attracted the attention of Starscream, and he began strafing the incoming Autobots while also releasing an electromagnetic pulse to disable NEST's communications. After Megatron arrived, he ordered the Decepticons to begin their assault, with Graham spotting thirteen Decepticon comets landing a distance from NEST's position.

Graham survived the battle to witness Optimus Prime's resurrection and The Fallen's theft of the Matrix of Leadership. When the Fallen placed the Matrix in the solar harvester and activated the machine, Graham began running toward the pyramid and ordered others to begin opening fire. Despite the questionable tactical thinking of this plan, it didn't matter, as The Fallen raised the heavy weaponry with telekinesis and destroyed it. Fortunately, Optimus, with the parts of the deceased defector Jetfire, managed to destroy the machine and kill The Fallen. After this, Graham and Lennox were seen congratulating Simmons. Revenge of the Fallen (film)
*This character is credited as "SASF Agent Graham" on the official movie website. The full name of the SASF is given on Matthew Marsden's interview on the DVD's Domestic Destruction featurette, as well as in the film credits.

*There's no such UK military unit as the "SASF" in the real-life continuity family. It is likely a fictionalized version of the "SAS" (given the colour of and insignia on his beret), except the SAS is a regiment of the British Army and, as such, doesn't have "agents" at all; rather their soldiers are known as "troopers". In addition, his uniform carries the insignia of a British Army captain (three "pips", look on the slide on his chest).

*Graham wears his beret whilst on ops—a BIG no-no! Opsec anyone?

In virtually all versions of Transformers fiction that involves audible voice work, the voices of those Cybertronian characters feature identifiable accents. While the vast majority speak with what could be described as a generic American accent, there are a plethora of examples across different continuities of characters who speak with strong accents that are similar or identical to other human accents.

The "behind-the-scenes" reason for this is reasonably simple - in a show where thirty different robot characters have speaking lines, a memorable accent or vocal quirk helps distinguish between "the red jet guy", "the blue jet guy", and "the grey jet guy". Furthermore, for better or worse, these stereotypical presentations help give audiences a "mental image" of the character - the guy who talks like a surfer is probably laid-back, relaxed, and totally chill, brah. The guy with the slow drawl is a rough and tumble cowboy who doesn't particularly cotton to all that fancy business, pardner. Accents, in this context, provide a sort of "cultural shorthand," which is not even limited to Western audiences - Japanese audiences have their own cliched stereotypes as well.

There's also the voice actor angle to consider - some actors play multiple characters within the same series, and adding various accents helps distinguish between them. Having two characters who sound essentially similar, save that one is "Australian" and one is "American" allows a VA to play multiple roles discreetly.

The in-story explanation for all of this is usually... lacking. Most continuities do not explicitly point out how or when the Transformers learned to speak the dominant native language upon coming to Earth, and indeed will often have scenes - particularly flashbacks - which depict them speaking English with their individual accents while still on Cybertron, before encountering humans. If one takes these scenes somewhat literally, it would indicate that these accents or some kind of approximations (although probably not the language itself) are somehow native to Cybertron - after all, lots of planets have a "north". Although it could be speculated that different Cybertronian social groups, class structures, geographical regionalisation or even ethnicities may be the origin of these differences in accent, it is an issue which remains unaddressed in official fiction. The one exception would be Cybertron Jetfire, whose change from "regular" accent to Australian accent between Energon and Cybertron is explained by having spent time on the planet Nebulon and picked up their accent.

In the movie universe, Optimus Prime claims that he and his troops learned to speak English from the Internet. It is possible that they also got their accents this way. Especially if they visited YouTube. Also, if they learned to speak English from the internet, there is nothing stopping them from learning other languages. This is supported by Optimus claiming that they learnt Earth's Languages (plural), although the scope of this is not seen.
