She's replaced her left hand with an apparatus that can scan patients and emit various hard-light surgical tools. Later, she was seen alongside her fellow Autobots [[Ironhide (Animated)|Ironhide]], [[Brawn (Animated)|Brawn]], [[Hot Shot (Animated)|Hot Shot]], and [[Rodimus Prime (Animated)|Rodimus Prime]] near a Space Bridge node fighting Decepticons. Her services were called into action when Hot Shot was hit by [[Strika (Animated)|Strika]]—his leg was badly damaged and she told him it would have to be amputated, despite his protests. Her bedside manner didn't help when she told Hot Shot that a new one would be delivered in six to eight deca-cycles. Before the leg could be amputated, she was captured, swallowed, coated in explosive goo, and spit back out by [[Spittor (Animated)|Spittor]]. * Red Alert was originally intended to be part of the core cast in the early development of ''[[Transformers Animated (franchise)|Animated]]''. For reasons unknown, her character was later changed to be male.
