:Jetstorm is a Predacon from the Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 Continuity family.

Jetstorm is another in a line of disgusting insect Predacons. Regurgitated toxins spew forth from his mouth at any enemy in his way. Air-to-air missiles give him supreme sky superiority, which he absolutely revels in. Jetstorm is an elitist snob who prefers to stay "above" the battle at all times, disgusted by those squabbling on the ground below. The appearance of Jetstorm's dragonfly mode captivates the enemy's attention, distracting them long enough for him to show off his powers of destruction.

In other words, he's butt-ugly, but functionally butt-ugly.
Magmatron traveled to prehistoric Earth to turn the Axalons Protoforms into a new Predacon army. Transquito witnessed Jetstorm's successful conversion. The Gathering issue 1 Magmatron ordered Jetstorm and the rest of his new forces to seek out the double-agent Razorbeast and his crew of Maximals. The Gathering issue 2 Later, under the leadership of the reactivated Ravage, Jetstorm joined the other flyers, Lazorbeak, Sky Shadow, Injector, and Buzz Saw, in hunting down the Maximals. The Gathering issue 3

While he was nowhere to be seen during the first attack on the Maximals, Jetstorm was present during another battle a few weeks later. The Ascending issue 1 He spat his toxins at Torca's head, though this didn't seem to cause much damage to the giant Maximal. The Ascending issue 2 When the Blendtrons showed up and attacked everyone, Jetstorm too favored direct action against them! The Ascending issue 4
: Jetstorm transforms into an organic dragonfly. His beast mode's inner head (which is his robot-mode head) features a water-squirting gimmick with an internal bellows located in his tail. His dragonfly tail conceals a pair of spring-out spring-loaded missile launchers that swing forward at the push of a button. These launchers are available in robot mode as well, but due to their construction fire mostly upwards.

: This toy was redecoed to make Tonbot.

Notes
* Prototype packaging have revealed that Jetstorm was at first to be named "Dragonfire". Three different designs show Jetstorm as either a Maximal (twice) or Predacon (once), but these conflicting faction symbols were most likely to demonstrate the difference between Maximal and Predacon packaging. In addition to showing the different factions, the three different card designs also illustrated different "Beast Wars" logos and different "beast eye" designs, with the most notable difference being the beast eye showing robotic detailing, versus the final design which showed none.
:Claw Jaw is a Maximal from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Like Tigatron before him, when Claw Jaw first emerged from his stasis pod his beast instincts overwhelmed his Cybertronian personality. Though eventually restored to himself, his squid instincts still form a huge portion of his psychology, motivating much of the way he acts, fights, and hunts. He even keeps an undersea lair in the deepest and coldest part of Earth's seas. Claw Jaw gives a lot of attention to protecting it when Predacons stray too near. It is a job for which he is well suited: The suckers on his eight arms can drain the energon right out of a robot and into Claw Jaw. Combine that with a crushing grip, razor-sharp fangs, and robotic claw weapon, and few Predacons escape to inform on the refuge he so fiercely protects.

Claw Jaw is a rather simple bot without great endurance, firepower, or intelligence, but he makes up for that with courage and impressive undersea speed, even if his ingrained "squiddy-ness" sometimes weirds out his fellow Maximals.

Claw Jaw was one of the protoform stasis pods jettisoned from the Maximal survey vessel Axalon when it was forced to crash-land on prehistoric Earth. The Predacon general Magmatron led a small group (that included the Maximal agent Razorbeast) back in time to place these protoforms into chronal phase and reprogram them into Predacons, and lead this army against the Maximals in the present. However, Razorbeast placed a viral code in Magmatron's Predacon shell program, allowing a number of the protoforms to retain their Maximal identity. The Gathering issue 1

Accompanied by Cybershark, Claw Jaw sped towards Razorbeast and the small group of new Maximals accompanying him. The Gathering issue 2 He and a phalanx of other Maximals finally reached them, just in time to fight off an army of Predacons. In the subsequent battle, Claw Jaw used his tentacles to ensnare Jetstorm. The Gathering issue 4

Sometime later, when Ravage's Predacons hit the Maximals again, Claw Jaw was among the ground forces defending their base, The Ascending issue 1 given some respite by the arrival of Grimlock, and then The Pack. The Ascending issue 2 However, when the Unicron servant Blendtrons arrived to attack both sides, those Maximals and Predacons fighting fit escaped onboard the Pack's transwarp cruiser and returned to the present in the hopes of saving Cybertron. Claw Jaw was among the unfortunates left behind to hold off the Blendtrons and was one of the survivors in the end. The Ascending issue 4
:Part of the first wave of second-year Beast Wars Basics, Claw Jaw transforms into a maroon and orange squid. Pushing a trigger on his back opens his beast-mode jaws.
