:Menasor is a citizen of Gigantion from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Menasor is filled with rage. He finds his planet's laws stifling and stupid, and believes his people are destined for greater things than merely building with no seeming goal in mind other than to continue building. On top of that, being one of the younger Gigantions, he feels that he's simply not given the respect he deserves from Metroplex and the others. As such, he's joined up with Megatron and his Decepticons, who have promised much to the disillusioned worker.

Menasor is always accompanied by his Mini-Con partner Heavy Load, who doesn't seem to share Menasor's anger, and sometimes tries to set the rebellious machine straight.

:Voice Actor: Sam Vincent (English), Yūto Kazama (Japanese)

Menasor was contacted by Megatron when he and the Decepticons first arrived on Gigantion. Intrigued by Megatron's desire to explore the Giant Planet's older and abandoned sectors for the Cyber Planet Key, Menasor allowed himself to be talked into joining Megatron's quest. The Decepticons' goals aligned perfectly with Menasor's own interest in delving into the past of his world, and it was just what he needed to stick it to Metroplex a little. Sure enough, Metroplex allied himself with the Autobots and tried to stop Menasor from breaking open the blockade leading to Gigantion's older sectors. Menasor fought against Override and Evac until Megatron was injured in battle and the Decepticons were forced to retreat. Giant

Menasor and the Decepticons attended to Megatron until his Aura of Fury built to the point where he reformatted himself out of pure rage, becoming Galvatron. Fury Later on, he observed the antics of Galvatron's band of merry men with some amusement before heading out on the search for the Cyber Planet Key. City Working with Galvatron personally during their exploration, Menasor and his new leader crossed paths with the Cybertron Defense Team. Galvatron allowed Menasor to test himself against the Autobots first. The Gigantian towered over his opponents and pushed them hard in battle, but he ultimately fell before the triple Cyber Key Power of their Triangle Attack. Galvatron defeated the Autobots by himself after that, and carried Menasor from the battlefield. Scourge (episode)

As the Autobots and Decepticons both reached Gigantion's central core, Menasor finally had the chance to pit himself against Metroplex personally. Their fight was fierce but brief, coming to an abrupt conclusion once Heavy Load ejected himself from Menasor's chest. The Mini-Con joined Metroplex's partner Drill Bit in standing between the two combatants, waving off any further fighting. The wee folk's actions gave the Giants a chance to reconsider their conflict, and Metroplex acknowledged it was time to stop treating Menasor as a wee bairn and start calling him an equal. Menasor quickly admitted that was all he ever really wanted, and agreed to join Metroplex and the Autobot team in stopping the black hole. Optimus (episode)

Menasor cemented his new allegiance when he stood with the Autobots against Galvatron for control of the completed Omega Lock, although he fell just like the rest of them. Menasor showed what a truly good spark lay within him when he joined Quickmix in defending the Earth children against falling debris created by the fight between Starscream and Galvatron. Showdown (episode) After Galvatron won and the Space Bridge back to normal space crumbled in his absence, Menasor and the other denizens of Giant Planet lent their considerable expertise to constructing a new Space Bridge. Menasor eagerly worked side-by-side with Quickmix as an equal as they worked at a breakneck pace to reconstruct the Cybertronian technology from scratch. Although their efforts failed, the Autobots soon found another way to return home, and Menasor left Gigantion with Metroplex and Quickmix to lend his strength to the final struggle against Galvatron and the black hole. Guardian (episode)

Menasor and the Gigantians united with the Transformers of five worlds to put an end to Galvatron. Homecoming He fought alongside Metroplex and Quickmix against the Decepticon Ransack, who was now their equal in size thanks to a power-up from Galvatron. End After the villains were defeated and the black hole closed for good, Menasor eagerly jumped into a new construction project, building massive thrusters on Jungle Planet to alter its orbit and bring it back into the proper alignment. Unfinished When Optimus Prime proposed the Transformers restart the Space Bridge program of their ancestors, Menasor and Heavy Load signed on for that as well. They took their place aboard the Atlantis with Optimus Prime, and blasted off into the great unknown on a new journey. Beginning

TransTech
In Axiom Nexus, Menasor was working with Dirge and the Malignus hunting down the assassins who killed Gutcruncher. When it was revealed Black Shadow was the culprit, Menasor laid a mighty smackdown on him, crushing the Crossformer into the street. In the melee that followed, Menasor was eventually taken into custody by Cheetor and the Security Administration. Gone Too Far

*Menasor (Ultra, 2006)
**Accessories: Giant Planet style Cyber Key

: Menasor transforms into a Cybertronic (Gigantian?) excavation machine. He has an "assault" vehicle mode that widens the space between his drills and separates the plow halves on his front so his partner Mini-Con Heavy Load can fit in, expanding the blade's width. In robot mode, Menasor's chest panel flips down to reveal a space for Heavy Load to fit in his robot mode. The panel also has a double-barreled flip-down (non-firing) blaster. He also has an alternate "work" robot mode, which widens his stance and reverses the direction of his knees.

: Menasor's drill-arm gimmicks are fully functional in all modes. Placing a Mini-Con on the Powerlinx plug on his right drill unlocks the spring-activated grippers to the side, plus unlocks the drill, which can extend by pushing the Mini-Con forward. The left drill spins through a gear-wheel mechanism on its underside, while plugging a Cyber Planet Key to its Key jack activates electronic lights and sounds. He comes with a silver-bordered Gigantion-style Cyber Planet Key with the Key Code "us4r" tampographed on the back.

: The Mini-Con hardpoints on his knees are notable for being awkwardly placed; in his true robot mode, the legs can't be positioned straight down because the pegs bump into each other. This gives the Menasor an unusual bowlegged stance, and additionally adding Mini-Cons to the pegs will prevent him from being able to stand at all, since the added robots would make Menasor actually have to do a split.

: In Japan, Menasor was only available through e-Hobby's online ordering service, in Hasbro packaging, in October of 2006... ten months after Galaxy Force stopped in Japan.
Notes
* Menasor's vehicle mode actually connects together better than shown in the stock photos (the official instructions and show model do not even acknowledge that the connectors exist). The plugs on the backs of his elbows fit into the sockets on his feet; these are supposed to connect together in vehicle mode. They do so fairly well, but must be disconnected for Menasor's Heavy-Load-added assault-vehicle mode. It actually comes packed like this, though there's no mention of it anywhere.

* Like the other Gigantions, Menasor's "work" robot mode is only seen in the Cybertron cartoon as a halfway point in his vehicle-to-robot stock footage transformation sequence.
Dirt Boss hails from Velocitron's "baja" sector, and boy, is he angry. On the racetrack he's outright psychotic, using his oversized tires to eat up ground and crush down anyone who gets in his way. He especially seems to have a major hate-on for Velocitron's current ruler, Override, though why is unknown.

Whatever it was that started this obsession, it's got him so mad he can actually be manipulated by Ransack and Crumplezone, of all beings. Yikes.
:Voice actor: Michael Donovan (English), Takayasu Usui (Japanese)

Dirt Boss was the first Velocitronian encountered by Hot Shot and Red Alert, when he jumped from the plains to the road and used his Cyber Key to spread his wheels, lowering his center of gravity Space.

Some time thereafter, Ransack and Crumplezone beat him up in an attempt to persuade him to join the Decepticons. Dirt Boss initially refused, wanting to beat Override without anyone's help; however, when Override herself arrived to save him, he decided to take up Ransack and crumplezone's offer out of spite Search. Unfortunately for Dirt Boss, the troublesome twosome soon tricked into accepting a race against Hot Shot, with the prize being a one-on-one race against Override, but which was actually just a ruse to blow up the Autobot. Dirt Boss didn't take this well, but was still willing to accept their help in the Planet Cup Hero.

In the first Planet Cup heat, he battled Override and Hot Shot for first place, leaving the rest of the racers some distance behind. Due to Ransack and Crumplezone's eagerness to please Megatron and general jerkiness, they caused him to crash into Hot shot, costing him several places. Still, he was able to recover by going off-road and thus avoiding several corners, allowing him to take third place Race.

In heat 2, he quickly fell into third place behind Hot Shot and Override. At the stairs section, he used his jumbo tires to take a quick pace without having to transform to robot mode. He ended up being tricked by Ransack's sign switching trick, sending him on a long detour. However, when Hot Shot told Override about the treachery, Dirt boss overheard, and got back on track by breaking through the roadside wall.

Soon after, Crumplezone tried to collapse a tunnel near the finish line to take out the rest of the pack. Hot Shot smashed through the rubble but stopped to talk to Override, allowing Dirt Boss to power ahead and finish first Detour (episode).

In the third heat, he got off to a swift lead due to his off-road capabilities. He attempted to take out Hot shot, but was stopped by Jolt and Brakedown. He then returned to racing and battled for first place with with Override, who had added traction tires just for the desert stage. Ransack and Crumplezone tried to help him for once by shooting Override, but they missed and naturally hit Dirt Boss instead. At this insult, Dirt Boss finally snapped and started shooting back, only to get trapped in a sand pit, sending him out of the race. Loser Sand.

At some point thereafter, for undisclosed reasons, he apparently turned over a new leaf. While still obsessed with defeating Override, he was willing to work with the Autobots for the greater good, which he demonstrated by helping Clocker and Brakedown dig up the Ogygia Warp. He also accompanied them through the space bridge to the final battle against Galvatron, a journey which he tried to turn into another race, and still got beaten by Override Homecoming (episode). In the battle, he joined the Velocitronian offensive against a scaled-up Crumplezone End.

After the conflict had ended, he took part in the Speedia 500, but came in second, beaten by Hot Shot. Loser Beginning.
Cybertron exclusive toy bio
When a space-time anomaly sent an alternate-universe incarnation of the Mini-Con Downshift to Velocitron, Dirt Boss managed to capture him and used his added power to pillage cities along Velocitron's equator. This naturally drew the attention of Override, who brought along her new Mini-Con partner Mirage (who hailed form the same alternate universe as Downshift) in order to free the captive Mini-Con and stop Dirt Boss's rampage.
Ransack is the brains of the Decepticon front on the Speed Planet... but that's not saying very much at all, since Crumplezone is dumb as a bag of hammers and Dirt Boss is so fixated on grinding Override into the dirt he doesn't care about anything else. In fact, Ransack is pretty dumb in his own way, but his gift for motor-mouthed, sneaky weaseling borders on genius.

He's a coward, a sneak, a luckless loser and small-time chiseler who's had his optics opened to a far greater form of evil and power previously unimagined, yet completely lacks the intelligence to attain it. Sometimes it seems Megatron only tolerates him because his antics keep the Autobots distracted. If he has a good point to him, it's that he and Crumplezone seem to actually be friends, even though Ransack clearly takes advantage of his huge partner's bulk to lend muscle to his schemes, or as cover when said schemes almost invariably end up in the gutter.

The only time Ransack acts alone is... in his act. Yes, Ransack has tried stand-up comedy. He dreams of one day becoming a star, but his attempts have been met with little success. Not even his grab for the Velocitronian entertainment industry has caught the eye of Override, his secret crush. Of course, she finds him to be little more than an obnoxious troublemaking moron and is totally oblivious to his "affections".
Ransack and Crumplezone were the first Velocitronians approached by Megatron, and were quickly cowed into servitude. Under Megatron's command, they sought out clues to the planet's Cyber Planet Key, first terrorizing Brakedown and Clocker, then convincing Dirt Boss to help them win the Planet Cup race. All throughout, they snuck around, trying to manipulate and cheat their way though, eventually abandoning Dirt Boss during the desert portion of the race. They made it to the final leg of the race, a vast, twisting track deep inside the planet, but blew all their power very early in the race and were left eating dust by Hot Shot and Override. They decided to attempt to just flat-out steal the Planet Cup, and naturally failed.

After their failure to capture the Speed Planet's Cyber Planet Key, Ransack and Crumplezone joined Megatron's forces off-planet attempting to collect the other Cyber Planet Keys. When Starscream gave Megatron a false map that was in fact a trap, Ransack was trapped out in deep space within a steel globe for a while with Megatron, Thundercracker and Mudflap.

Once freed, Ransack joined his boss on the return to Earth, fighting against both the Autobots and the Decepticons under Starscream's command. The battlefield quickly shifted to Cybertron, where Ransack narrowly avoided becoming lunch for a swarm of Scrapmetal... his pal Crumplezone was not so lucky, however. Crumplezone was revived by Megatron shortly after, and the grateful duo continued to follow Megatron, all the way to Gigantion the Giant Planet. There... they suffered humiliating defeat after humiliating defeat, pretty much. For a brief moment they had a shot at actually achieving something for Megatron by kidnapping the Mini-Con Jolt, but were outsmarted by Coby Hansen and his new Cobybot, then subsequently blasted through a few layers of Gigantion by Optimus Prime using Metroplex's colossal axe "Sparkdrinker", which was really overkill.
When Megatron-then-Galvatron finally obtained the Omega Lock and all four Cyber Planet Keys, they followed him back to Cybertron and the edge of the Unicron Singularity. There, when threatened by hundreds of Transformers from across the colony worlds, Galvatron used the powers of the Omega Lock to make his lackeys gigantic and incredibly powerful. Ransack was thrilled for about five seconds, until he realized he was still the smallest of the crew, and that even at his new size, he was no bigger than the Transformers from Gigantion, who decided to gang up on him, of course.

After Galvatron's plans to accelerate the growth of the Unicron Singularity failed, Ransack and the other now-normal-sized Decepticons left Galvatron, realizing that he had had no intention of sparing their lives from the cataclysm should he have succeeded. They re-appeared on the displaced Jungle Planet, as the citizens and Autobots were trying to prevent one of the massive planetary engines that was returning the world to its rightful place from falling over. Surprising everyone, they helped right the engine, having decided to try being good guys and being on the winning side for a change.

Ransack, Crumplezone and Thunderblast journeyed together across each of the colony worlds, trying to find a place to fit in. Ultimately failing, on Earth they cobbled together a makeshift rocket and headed for the stars, shanghaiing Thundercracker before they left, eager to become the New Decepticon Army.

* All releases of Ransack/Gasket are actually mis-assembled; the rear wheel struts are put on the wrong sides, raising his rear end up higher in cycle mode. The Hasbro version of the mold actually retooled his wheel struts to adjust for the rear wheel rubbing against the back end due to this mis-assembly. The development line-art shown on Hasbro's web site by entering Ransack's Cyber Key Code shows the intended assembly. Some fans have made the adjustment themselves, as it is only a metal pin keeping the wheel struts attached to the main body of the cycle. However, this does take a bit of force, plus carries the risk of damage to the strut pieces, which use a softer type of plastic. The error appears to have been finally corrected when the mold was redecoed into "Axalon" Rattrap for 2006.
The largest inhabitant of Velocitron (yet speed-wise he can still smoke most off-worlders), Crumplezone is undeniably the brawn of the gruesome twosome formed with the weaselly Ransack. It's not that Ransack is really all that much smarter than Crumplezone, it's just that the big lug just tends to leave the thinking to others, going along with whatever scheme his best (and possibly only) friend Ransack has cooked up. Being bad is just easier, and a lot more fun. Plus, Megatron is less likely to blast him then.
: An extensively retooled version of Crumplezone's original toy (approximately 80% of its parts have been changed), Crumplezone still turns into a Cybertronic three-wheeler, but this time his design is much more angular, with a "stealth fighter" look to him. Other changes include a pair of extra black fins (which are removable), and new moulded guns for his vehicle mode (in robot mode they point downwards and can't be angled forwards).

:Despite the extensive remoulding he has no new gimmicks, instead retaining all of the original gimmicks. The only difference is that Dark Crumplezone has a different sound clip, much shorter than the original's. His silver-bordered Velocitron Key has the Key Code "v2r2" on the back.

:In package Dark Crumplezone's new fins were not attached to him. Instead, they were in a bag taped to the cardboard insert, in a different place than the packet containing his instructions and missiles. Due to this, and the fact that his instructions don't mention that you need to attach the fins, many fans accidentally threw them out when they tossed the toy's packaging. In fact, chances are that as you're reading this you're thinking to yourself, "Hold on, my Dark Crumplezone doesn't have removable fins." Sorry buddy, but he's meant to. Looks like you threw them out too. Sucks to be you.

: This toy was slated for a Japanese release, but it never happened. Not even an e-Hobby USA Edition release.
:Crumplezone is the only Transformers series 1 Attacktix figure with a base speed over 10, making him a devastating opponent in Transformers-only games. His Special Power Sacrifice lets you replace any of your Trooper pieces with the formerly-defeated Crumplezone.

:Ransack's Special Power Recover is dependent on having Crumplezone in play. Crumplezone also works well with Scorponok, Rodimus and any other figures who summon Trooper figures into play. Oddly enough Crumplezone's Captain class means that he can also support Skywarp's Infiltrate power, commanding him in battle. What a terrifying thought.

:Crumplezone was only available in a pack with the "Battle Master" Omega Supreme piece.
