'''Tote''' is a master of in-mission improvisation. He's extremely skilled in adapting to changing situations, and coming up with clever methods of getting out of unexpected scrapes. He's most often paired with [[Mudslinger (G1)|Mudslinger]], as his teammate's penchant for getting into trouble often requires Tote's quick thinking to turn a bad situation around. [[Highjump (G1)|Highjump]] takes issue with this, believing that Tote's friendly help is encouraging Mudslinger's aggressive and dangerous behavior. Tote was summoned to Earth alongside the rest of the [[Off Road Patrol]] when [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] decided that a larger Autobot presence on the planet was required. Like the other Micromasters, he was pretty cynical about the whole thing. The Off Road Patrol's first mission was to investigate suspected [[Decepticon]] activity near [[New Jersey (Earth)|New Jersey]]. They found [[Skullgrin]], but by the time they defeated him, it was too late to stop the Decepticons' scheme. Luckily, the day was saved by the [[Race Car Patrol]], and Tote and the others decided to stay and live in [[New York City]] from then on. {{storylink|King Con!}}
