'''Wolfang''' (ボルファング ''Borufangu''), the "High-Speed Warrior", defines "quick on his feet", being a combat expert who fights in breathlessly fast-paced battles with his quick cunning. Also to his side are his Crossbow Missiles, which act akin to boomerangs, and his Hyper Shield, which has the capability to block any attack.

Some time after Starscream fled from prehistorical Earth, Wolfang was part of a group of Predacons, led by [[Megatron (BW)|Megatron]] and including [[Waspinator (BW)|Waspinator]], [[Blackarachnia (BW)|Blackarachnia]], and a time-displaced [[Archadis]], who battled a contingent of [[Maximal]]s comprised of [[Optimus Primal]], [[Rhinox (BW)|Rhinox]], [[Cheetor (BW)|Cheetor]], [[Cohrada]], and [[Dinobot (BW)|Dinobot]] in a forest. All of the Transformers transformed into robot mode. {{storylink|Beast Wars Diorama Story|Convoy Chapter}} Wolfang found himself locked into battle with Rhinox. Rhinox attacked with his "Terror Blade" only to be fought off by Wolfang's "Crossbow Missile". Some time into the battle, a warp opened, bringing with it [[Jazz (Movie)|Jazz]], [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]], [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]], [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]], and [[Ratchet (Movie)|Ratchet]], who were [[Decepticon]]s and [[Autobot]]s from another [[Movie (franchise)|universe]]. [[Tigatron]] and [[Gimlet]] also joined the battle, and, after being defeated by the Maximals, Starscream joined the Predacons. {{storylink|Beast Wars Diorama Story|Tigatron Chapter}} [[Blackout (Movie)|Blackout]] later appeared and joined the Predacons, as well. The Decepticon Megatron brought along [[Brawl (Movie)|Brawl]], and the two Megatrons combined their troops into a fearsome force against the Autobots and Maximals. In the ensuing skirmish, Wolfang stood in the forest, preparing for battle. The Maximals' savior came in the form of [[Motorarm (BWII)|Motorarm]]. The two factions then took formation against each other with the intention of combining their energies to attack the opposing side. : A ridiculously extensive [[redeco]] of the Maximal [[Wolfang (Maximal)|Wolfang]] [[toy]] for the ''[[Beast Wars Telemocha Series]]'', Wolfang transforms into an organic wolf. In robot mode, his [[mutant head]] flips up to cover his normal head. His wolf mode's back becomes a shield, while the tail becomes a spring-loaded missile launcher in robot mode; two anchor-shaped missiles are stored in Wolfang's midsection.

: He also comes with a DVD of the ''[[Beast Wars (cartoon)|Beast Wars]]'' episode "[[Double Jeopardy]]" (the Japanese dub, of course).

* Much like [[Shadow Panther]] before him, Wolfang is a new character using a previous Maximal mold who was created to make sure that the two factions had equal numbers in the toy line. This principle was eventually ignored with the [[Motorarm (BWII)|last Deluxe-sized release in the toy line]] being a Maximal without an accompanying Predacon.

* His CGI artwork (shown above) is ''exactly'' the same model and pose as the CGI artwork for the original "Howlinger" toy packaging from 1997, only with Wolfang's new colors slapped on.
